3021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have 5, 12 or even more coins? on: April 04, 2022, 07:58:33 PM
Lets say you had to spend 12.000 USD,

would you go for option 1 or option 2?

option 1: 2.400 USD each coin = 12.000 USD total

Ethereum
Avalanche (AVAX)
Polygon (MATIC)
Chiliz (CHZ)
Enjin (ENJ)

option 2: 1.000 USD each coin = 12.000 USD total

Ethereum (ETH)
Solana (SOL)
Avalanche (AVAX)
Shiba Inu (SHIBA)
Polygon (MATIC)
Cosmos (ATOM)
Decentraland (MANA)
The Sandbox (SAND)
Gala (GALA)
Chiliz (CHZ)
Enjin (ENJ)
Keep network (KEEP)

I mean specifically those coins not sure who can give you an honest opinion that you should use.  But generally speaking yeah you want to diversify.  But not so much that you start getting coins like shib in there.  By the way where is bitcoin in these 2 choices.  Is this just what you are looking in terms of alts?
3022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 04, 2022, 07:56:41 PM
Early pick.

Game : Spurs vs Nuggets.

Spurs need to win every game so they'll be able to be in the play-in tournament.

The current spread is +6.00 for the Spurs, I am taking it as Spurs will surely play very hard to win.
If they lose, I think +6 will likely be covered.

I like the chances of this, even if Nuggets start most of their starters you'd expect some minutes restrictions, there's not point risking their best players getting injured or not properly rested before the playoffs.

I'll ride with pick and perhaps, have a little on the Spurs ML as well.

That's a tough line game shoukd be a good.  With the same thinking in mind but against a much easier opponent I'm taking the pels -8.5 on the road today.  And gimme the Grizzlies getting 5 points on the road to the Jazz.  Could be a preview of the second round of the western conference series.  Good luck tonight everyone!
3023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 04, 2022, 04:37:55 PM
In terms of value, I think the Grizzlies have one of the best odds even without their starters we saw how they can still beat good teams like the Suns, they have the firepower to go all the way but at the same time, they might not make it that far as they barely have any playoff experience unlike the other teams they'll be going against. I remember back then the Nuggets used to have one of the top seeds but they failed to reach the conference finals.

If I have to place some money on a team i'd take the Suns, the odds aren't that great but it makes sense as they're pretty much set up to go for another finals run and possibly take it all the way. The only worrying part is the injuries I remember some teams are expected to have a deep run but their chances suddenly diminished due to injuries while playing.

Agreed the major value here is Memphis.  They are a strong team just playoff inexperienced.  Tough to win the first year you are relevent so that's why the odds are lagging but worth a punt.  If my feet are to the fire I'd say the Suns.  With cp3 running the show no one has a better chance then them.  In a 7 game series it will be tough for anyone to win 4 games against them.
3024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 04, 2022, 12:17:03 AM
Liking the Clippers -2.5 vs Pelicans, even though the Clippers already secured their spot in the play-ins they're looking much better with PG back in the mix. On the other hand, the Pelicans are still pressured to win their remaining games in order to keep their playoff spot but I think the Clippers will take over after their dominant win against the Bucks.

Too bad mate, the Jazz choke again after establishing a good lead against GSW. Not sure what the problem of the Jazz right now, but it seems that they are just a 2 quarter team right now. And then totally losing it in the last quarters. They are not down to 5th position in the Western conference though, so that is a consolation that they will go on the playoffs again.
Yup, already saw that one coming good thing I only had a small stake on them I'm thinking of just taking the 1st half next time I back them up.

Yeah I'm liking that game too, just a very motivated pels team though so scared to take this one.  With that being said muh knicks made an embarrassment out of the Orlando game, didn't have to sweat that one out.  Philly leads by exactly 4 with 3 minutes to go, nail biting time.
3025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Smith Inu? on: April 04, 2022, 12:15:21 AM
I didn't know about this event before, it was too fast it seemed the prices were pump and dump. Will Smith is an actor's name and the world knows his face, looks funny if he becomes a logo a token with his name too, successful developer makes jokes that make him rich in the fast time.

Can we all please stop calling these people that start these coins developers.  They don't develop anything but pump toys like this to make them more bitcoin or eth.  Seriously, it's some wierd copy/paste job nothing more nothing less.  Can't wait until this part of crypto fades.

Who among you have got in to Will Smith Inu? I bet this was created by anonymous developers as just another meme coin because of the news we’ve seen at The Oscars about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife’s condition.

I’ve seen it as one of the biggest gainers in CoinMarketCap. Yesterday it was ranked #1, now it’s rank 2 with an insane gain of it’s value. But I bet that this trend won’t last long, and it’ll definitely do a slow rug pull later on.

Hopefully someone would create Chris Rock Inu too haha!!!

The fact that anyone puts money into anything like this is mind blowing.  How much greed do you have that you completely ignore the fact this is a scam?  Crypto never ceases to amage me.  Roll Eyes
3028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2022: Qualifying Games For Qatar on: April 03, 2022, 07:00:14 PM
Very juicy odds are given by bookmakers on Canada's win against Panama - 2.1... I think I can take this chance! I think Canada will win without any problems... The second interesting match is Costa Rica vs USA. The odds are 2.25 to win the USA... Of course I'm not sure if the USA is the clear favorite here, but I'll try to place a multi bet on the win of Canada and the USA... Wink
...

My guesses would be
Panama vs Canada: draw @3.0
Costa Rica vs USA: win USA @2.15
I just realized above post was in the wrong thread (UEFA qualifiers), so I'll continue here instead Smiley

Ok, so that was a disaster.  Roll Eyes
Panama beat Canada 1-0 and Costa Rica beat the USA 2-0. Also Mexico won, but as expected the final ranking was not affected at all.

Canada, Mexico and the USA are qualified, then in June Costa Rica will play New Zealand for one of the last remaining spots. Costa Rica will be the favorite here, New Zealand is a relatively weak team.

I actually like the group US got into.  Be nice if Wales doesn't make it they are a pretty strong club.  No matter the bracket US will always struggle to escape from the group stages.  They are getting better but no where close to competing at the highest level.  I'm sure englad was happy to see the US squad in their bracket

This two team had a good show now.The game was not a good end for the team Blue devils. The sad news was K’coach gonna retired after their involvement of the last game.Which was not expected one by the player and the team. This was heartbreaking news for that team.He was the one of the best coach for them in a decade. So this going to huge loss for the team.

He announced his retirement at the beginning of the year, everyone knew this was his last game.  What a terrible way to end a career.  From a rival booting you pit of the tournament, anyone but unc lol.

Bunch of games with lines I just can't read.  So far I like Philly-4 against the cavs, cavs are trending the wrong way and like Philly to dominate this game.  And for the love of anything I do t know why but I'm taking the Knicks-4.5 on the road against Orlando.  Team has some MOJO now that thibs is playing the younger guys.  Good luck today everyone

The second game tonight is going to be epic.  One of the greatest sports rivalries.  In over 100 years haven't ever played in the tourny against each other.  In the final four with a chance at the trophy.  All in Ks last year.  Think duke gets some revenge from the home beatdown they took from unc.  Duke 78- unc -71.
3032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you help out a newbie trader please? on: April 02, 2022, 07:29:18 PM
As the title says, will any be so kind as to help an aspiring trader like me? I have read and watched dozens of articles and videos online as long they are free but I still suck at trading and the patterns along with the ways never seem to work. I only do 5x-10x leverage which is why I still have a few left to trade but still, these losses are just so discouraging. I've been in groups about trading but instead of learning I get ridiculed. I try my best but all the information available online are soo intimidating and are bombarding me. I do not know where to focus and I am at the verge of giving up. Making this post is my last push to learn trading. Some may suggest paid knowledge or getting myself a mentor but too bad it's pretty expensive for me right now. I just hope someone here can suggest what I should focus on learning about first or what strategies to focus on first as a beginner. Thank you so much for anyone who would help.

Buying on 5x-10x leverage in crypto is crazy risky.  You can go to bed up and wake up getting margin called.  Too volatile unless it's a small portion of your portfolio and you just want to gamble some.  That's a ll that is though is gambling.
3033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 02, 2022, 07:27:22 PM
This is really sad, I should have looked until the game started I never thought that Brook Lopez, Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, and Giannis Antetokounmpo have injuries and can not play against the Clippers because some injury list is not updated

The injury list is always updated and Bucks' key players are not injured. They are just pumped up last game. Game-time decision and Milwaukee Bucks decided to sit out their stars since they already clinched a playoffs spot and to have a rest. Not against the rules after all in preparation for the playoffs.

It's a trap. I know bookies know that but decided to play a game with their bettors lol. They are sometimes toying with the bettors. Bookies know internally what is happening inside the NBA and that's the challenge for the bettors, to have a good pick.

The big risk of taking the early picks, that trap happens with the Bucks.

If I remember it right, they are still the favorite before seeing that all the stars are going to sit and will not play against the
clippers, sad to say that bettors expect that bucks will still aim for another win.

After that, back to back against their rival teams from the east. It's best for the coaching staff to rest them as they already
got assured of the playoff spot.

Yeah that's why betting early on a game is risky the not playing list changes all the way up to tipoff.  And when you have a team resting so many players it makes it tough to figure out the likely outcome.  Nothing to go on.
3034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are the top crypto influencers on: April 01, 2022, 03:02:16 AM
Who are the top crypto influencers  to follow in twitter

Is that a serious question?  The last thing you want to do is follow some type of influencer.  They are all driven by greed and will push anything they are getting paid to push.  Better off digging through the available data online, learning crypto on your own and then when you are comfortable with your knowledge follow people that align with your thinking.  Otherwise you will be burned.  Don't be one of those.
3035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: April 01, 2022, 02:59:01 AM
This ain't the first time they're dealing with stuff's like this, they already dealing with Australian football League, Formula 1.
Joining/ Sponsoring the biggest event/game in football history is a great thing to see as they have been on a rapid increase ever since 2016 having over   10 million customers and over 4000 employees.
They're are also in support of teaching kids about Crypto technology, which i fancy very well!

https://blockworks.co/crypto-com-adds-fifa-world-cup-sponsorship-to-sports-marketing-strategy/

Crypto.com is pretty much advertising in every sport.  But given the world wide reach of the world cup and soccer itself this is great for crypto.  Crazy to think just 5 years ago this would be laughed or scoffed at.  Good on these crypto companies trying to get the most outreach they can using advertising.
3036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brady Sacks Arians on: April 01, 2022, 02:55:42 AM
Yeah makes absolutely no sense unless he was against Brady coming back which would be insane lol.  With the nfc the weak division why wouldn't you want one more premium shot at a ring?  Health, family, etc had to be something underneath it because strictly looking at it from a football perspective this is the worst premature retirement I've seen.
The only other explanation I can think of is that maybe he already got what he wanted out of football, while we know there are players which are there exclusively for the money, cough Rodgers cough, there are others that are chasing to win at least one ring before they retire, Arians was like that, even if he had 2 SB rings as an assistant coach he had yet to get one as the HC, so maybe once he got it he simply thought he had achieved what he wanted and it was the moment to retire from the HC position.

Nah Bruce has gone through the football ringer.  If everything was good, you have a very weak NFC and you are the one team with a once in a century qb, so there shot at a super bowl is like even odds.  As a coach if ypu are in it this is the perfect situation.  Something had to have happened.  He didn't just up and retire after a Brady reversal like this.  Sketch.
3037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 01, 2022, 02:51:39 AM
Today my bet is Detroit Pistons (+10.5) - Philadelphia 76ers. Pistons have great ATS (against the spread) record. They haven't lost double digits in 21 games and they are doing pretty well on their own floor. I am also counting on 76ers' fatigue after a tough game against the Bucks.

Good call.  Haven't noticed Pistons have played that well for a stretch.  Wonder what the money line was for this game.  Sixers have a serious issue, they rely on the free throw line and when they don't get there they can't win games.  Might work for a series or 2 but won't last for multiple series.  They need to change something before the playoffs
3038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 31, 2022, 06:06:34 PM
Nets vs Bucks will most likely be the star of the show later and the odds are quite tempting even though it looks like a trap.
So yes, going to risk it again. Nets -1.5. How I wish they will rest Giannis for this to be a sure win.  Cheesy

Two more bets I already locked in.
Detroit Pistons vs Philadelphia 76ers - 76ers -10.5 With a healthy roster, this amount will be easy to reach.
Atlanta Hawks vs Cleveland Cavaliers - Hawks -5.5 Mobley out, Allen out, Wade out. Capela will no doubt dominate the paint. Good luck.

I'm taking that Philly bet too.  Not taking atlanta although I like them here.  Cleveland just seems to be so deep they can play with subpar teams like Atlanta when they are depleted.  Gonna take a flyer on the Nets here too.  Think they don't throw up 2 stinkers in a row from kyrie.  They rebound and win a big game here.  More to lose for the Nets on this one intensity shoukd be high.  Nets -2

Good luck tonight everyone.
3039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 31, 2022, 06:04:18 PM

No chance if they can't bring a healthy Davis in case they'll be able to win the play-in tournament.

Inconsistent players that surround LeBron he can't lift the team up alone, whatever he will do if there's no good help
they will still suffer from being beaten by any team who have a solid teamwork.

If they'll be eliminated earlier, the management should re-assess from the coaching to staff to the players.

Can't agree more!
Even with Davis, I guess the Lakers would still struggle "IF" they're lucky to take the 8th spot and go against the Suns.

I'm even surprised Frank has not been fired yet after messing around with the rotation many times. Playing small ball and not even an effective strategy once. I mean, how do you let Howard set when he can grab 2 digits rebs and points every game? and he's letting LeBron do all the work and fill the center position.

Well, I guess Shaq was making a wild prediction for the Lakers vs Suns result lol.

We will see next season, if coach Vogel is still having his post as Lakers coach. But for sure there will be a lot of playing shifting around, and I don't see Westbrook or even Carmelo next year.

AS for the Suns and Lakers potential first round clash, why not? Davis tweeted that if he is not injured last year, it could have been a different story, and the Suns knows it, according to him. So let them face each other again and see is Phoenix has wait it takes to take out Lebron and Davis and shut his mouth for good.

Carmelo is gone but they'd have to find someone to take on Westbrook, they couldn't just release him with that contract too much dead money.  If I were them I'd part ways with a future first rounder hoping you are good enough that then it would only be something in the twenties.  Need usable players immediately.  Lakers are a win now with lebron and AD on the team.
3040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brady Sacks Arians on: March 31, 2022, 06:02:11 PM

Broken clock and all that...

But I gotta admit BA's retirement looks quite bizarre, particularly the timing after Brady's un-retirement.
