3021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On which esports you place bets on: January 25, 2022, 10:35:51 PM
Recently, I was asked by one of my clients to check out which esports betting bitcointalk users are most interested. I wasn't really aware of esports betting much. Because I really don't gamble a lot. Can you please share which esports you used to place bets on? It would be a great helping hand to find out the right one. Client was interested in offering bonus for bitcointalk users.
The NBA live 2k e-sport game, I use to bet on that but too rare these days when I have more time at work. The funny thing it started is when I accidentally bet on it thinking it was the real game from NBA but to my surprise that it ended up quickly and I realized it was just a game played by players. I don't know if it's popular but I think it's best as well but too dependent on the player too and I don't know lot of NBA live e-sport players though.
Wasnt aware that there are NBA 2k esport game which you could possibly bet on.When it comes to betting then you would really vary on player skills and not on the team of course.

Usually its not the popular esports as of this moment which most people do talk about Dota and Csgo which is the latest games which we do have now.

Im not saying nba 2k game isnt popular but  basing off with competitiveness and game mechanics then these things really fits out on the criteria.
3022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is El Salvador in debt because of the bitcoin price drop? on: January 25, 2022, 09:34:23 PM
This is just like saying institutions who have invested into Bitcoins are in debt now just because the value has dropped and it doesn't makes sense. They are government and not a newbie to panic sell the Bitcoins just for a drop of around 20% it shouldn't be concerning them as the Bitcoin will not be spent until it pumps back and infact bitcoin will be gamechanger for them if they buy during dips.
For sure those governments are pretty much aware on how volatility works because they wouldnt really make it as a legal tender if they dont know the risk behind and now the time has come then they

are surely been prepared.Losses or floating negatives would really be common and as long they dont sell anything then those losses arent realized or still imaginary on which they could rather take this
dip as their buying point too or simply making average downs.

So far we havent seen any word from them despite of the market decline but for sure they are accumulating in silence.
3023  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin adoption by banks - good or bad? on: January 25, 2022, 08:17:18 PM
If banks will provide any services in cryptocurrency, this is good in any case. A lot of people still don’t know much about cryptocurrencies and therefore, for them to have more trust in cryptocurrencies, it will be better if they see the same trust in it from government agencies. But banks won't get too carried away with cryptocurrencies. Don't even hope for it. But on the other hand, if they provide services in cryptocurrency, this will not have a significant regulatory impact on the cryptocurrency.
of course the bank will get an order from the government to include bitcoin in bank products. and this kind of thing will be ambiguous because it has not yet had a clear status by the government. unless there are separate regulations that provide space for bitcoin in the bank, of course it will have a greater advantage to be known by the public in order to face the future
Government would be always have the final say when it comes to regulations and every sector and institution enclosed to it would really be following on whats mandated.

They wouldnt really be having other options but to deal and abide with those rules or else then you would really be finding some problems.Adoption by banks?
I cant say much since they would really be still following government rules and regulations which would be still remains as centralized as it can.
3024  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Touched the Bottom RSI three times on: January 23, 2022, 06:00:29 PM
It doesn't look like the default RSI and you are using the Bitmex too in the 1week time frame. Its look is very different when you use the default RSI and binance chart because it certainly has not touched which the last time it did was in Dec 2018.

I can see though that we are very close to reaching the bottom, I think we are going to have to see the low volatility yet with very short candles swinging sideways before going up and until we don't see this on the chart, it's likely to keep going down and then we'll have to look at the monthly chart bottoms.

Depending on the timeframe and thats why its really hard to find up some biases when you are just sticking out on one timeframe specially in op been showing 1W.When it comes to trend switching or

make out some u-turns then i would prefer on not to use 1W TF. but well we do have our own indicators and RSI would be the most common. If you do base up into those buying opportunities
then it couldnt really be denied that those times are the best since you could have made out some profits if you do sell into those green candles.

Thats why i dont trust up much when it comes to indicators because it could really fucked you up.
3025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site in 2021 on: January 23, 2022, 05:01:20 PM
Without a doubt many gamblers are attracted by the idea of a casino that gives huge bonuses but it is important to be careful, many scammers know that this is what gamblers are looking for more than anything and as such they offer huge bonuses knowing from the beginning they are not going to honer the bets or allow withdrawals at all, so while looking for important bonuses is fine we must always see if the casino has in fact a good reputation, and if this is not the case then we need to avoid that casino.
I don't see a reason why a legitimate casino would turned out to be a scam just because they have a bonus offer.

If that casino has been reputable all of these times, I don't think that they'll turn themselves into a scammer just because they don't want to pay those customers that are eligible for it.

I know some did but these times, I don't think they'll do that.
That is related to their reputations that they already built before because once they scam their customers, they will not trust the casino and leave it without looking back or wanting to revisit it. Trustable is one of many things that the customer wants to see from the casino and they do not want to get a single problem while they are playing gambling. It is why reputable casinos will always take care of their reputations and will not have any intention to damage their reputations or scam their customers. It is the same as kill their business in a short time.
That's why I don't see any point for a reputable casino turning into a scam. Maybe on the early days that would happen but these days, due to many existing casinos and competitors.

I don't think that they would love to change their behavior just to scam a few bucks or hundreds of their customers. Reputation is no worth to put at that stake.

Not really worth i would say and how dumb they would really be risking that reputation that they had been building for so long for just mere amounts? It isnt really just worth actually.

Competition is really high on this crypto gambling market and you couldnt really tell via rankings on which one is better considering that there are lots of sites who are earning
enormous volume or wager amount from gamblers around the globe.

Its a personal preference but pretty much sure that we do have some sort of ranking but would still be ending on personal kind of view point.
3026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think that 2022 will look like? on: January 23, 2022, 04:08:08 PM
Thats right it seems the resistance at the bottom with bitcoin right now is a lot more stronger than it was in the past days.
If btc could resist at around the price of 30k and just doing sideways around that, when the next bullish market occurs. btc and most of the altcoins could be reaching new ATH all over again.
im just thinking that the next bullish market will happens when the market is rather hopeless just like it was in the past where the bullish market is coming out of blue and follows the same chart pattern again.
Maybe this year around the bearish isn’t going to be long.
Well, it can be or can't either.  The market will always be unpredictable so there's no way we will know if how long will this bearish season, or when  are we going to witness a bullish season. However, seeing the market at the present is overbought since most of us are into buying these days, i think the market we'll be more bearish than bullish this year. But needless to say, if there will be serious positive news that will impact the market, then that will create positive prices on the crypto coins which will push for the bull season to start.
Come to remember on this few days of this new year on where people are already boost up that we might head up on another ATH on this first quarter but look at where we now?

This is why i do keep saying that market is totally unpredictable and there's no way you could really able to predict on what would happen next thats why its not really
good to make out some conclusions whether youre being too positive or negative towards the market.

Any fundamentals and issues could really rise up and make out some significant effect and we do able to look at on whats happening now.
3027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: January 22, 2022, 11:56:46 PM
According to Mike Tyson, this fight is not happening.  He said there wasn't even serious talks with his camp about this fight happening.  This from the latest Nelk podcast where he stopped by with Dana White.

Mike did say that Jake Paul's camp reached out to him about a possible fight, but that there was so many people involved and it was clearly all about the money for everyone.  Mike said he wasn't feeling it.  He stated that he wanted to fight because he loved the sport, not to make a bunch of kids a ton of money off his legacy.  Dana even said that Mike Tyson is the draw, not Jake Paul, so there's no reason why Mike needs Jake.  I'm not sure that's 100% true if Mike wants millions of dollars, but as he becomes more and more successful in the marijuana and social media spaces, there's less and less of a reason for him to get into the ring...  He's old, it's not worth it.  I think he could still kick Jake and Logan's asses, but at what cost?

I just wanted to reiterate this as people are still talking like this fight could possibly happen.  It won't.  If you want to hear it straight from Mike's mouth, you can do so by watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRYF8t2swqs

It seems that fighting Logan was never even on the table.  Jake was willing to fight Tyson if it was a money grab, but Tyson was not interested.  He went on to say he fights for fun and for the love of the sport and has no interest in fighting for money or to help someone else's cause.  Dana also said he doesn't want to see Mike fight again, and it sounds like with the success of Tyson 2.0, he doesn't need the money anyway.
So this one had really never been considered or put up on the table so it was all rumors which do end up on not to happen on any way.Mike had made out those words which im not really surprised
that a true boxing legend wouldnt really tend to have that money grab intent. If we do go back on that Roy Jones fight against then all of his earnings been given on a charity?
This one alone would really tell that he doesnt really care on earning money more.

I agree into that line on fighting for other or else interest is not really his principle.
3028  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who saw the Bear market coming? on: January 22, 2022, 10:55:45 PM
IDK at this point, seems to be holding pretty strong at $40K.

Maybe the days of 80% corrections after ATHs are over?

I'm still bearish personally, but it has been a great your for Crypto in general. We'll see.

There's already institutional investors that holds the majority of supply which keeps the price don't dip below 40K since thats the buying price of most of them. I believe 80% correction is still possible once they decided to give up there position and take profit which will not happened right now since most there holdings needs approval or reach a certain amount of profit and maturity for it to be liquidate.
The problem is that these investors supporting bitcoin at 40,000$ range might be the same ones who crash the market as soon as bitcoin hit 43,000$. There is no difference between institutional investors and whales. All of them are very dangerous for bitcoin stability and price increasement along the time.

If the supply of bitcoins were splitted among more investors, we wouldn't have massive selloffs like the one seen earlier today, which instantly liquidated more than half billion dollars in cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin still need more adopters who aren't related to the speculative practices of the financial market in order to thrive smoothly.
In order for that to happen we will need people to begin to use bitcoin more as a currency than as a speculative asset, and while I think we are seeing a nice transition in that regard as now more people are using bitcoin in their everyday lives at the same time this is a process that will take a significant amount of time.

So I think we need to accept that the volatility of bitcoin will remain high at least during the next decade as bitcoin makes that transition and then people acknowledge a change has taken place.
It would really be having that kind of treatment on where people do really make it as a store of value rather than minding on how it should really be circulated.Well, i couldnt really blame off people

on having this kind of mindset or impression yet this market had really given out those kind of opportunities or benefits on getting big profits if the market tends to have a bullish run.

Of course bear markets would always be accompanied by the bull since these are the only things which could the market will able to move out.
3029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not invested then do it now... on: January 22, 2022, 09:25:49 PM
I think it is never too late to start an investment if we really want to invest for the future, because the world of bitcoin is a long-term business and we are also free to choose if we no longer intend to run the business again because we can release it again on the stock market without the slightest coercion from any party if we want to go forever from the crypto world
Specially now that the market is really making out some serious correction due to some fundamentals which isnt really that surprising to happen because we cant really just on having a market that

do always move up which cant be possible. For those who had been wishing to enter on 30k then here we are now which we are on that level. So it isnt really that bad
to consider on entering with this current value.

This is the chance for you to buy cheaper coins but as always you should really be wary the risks behind.
3030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On which esports you place bets on: January 22, 2022, 08:37:29 PM
Only Dota 2, been my go to because that's the only game that I am most familiar because I am a Dota player myself so I don't have problems choosing teams that's going to win because I have a good way to judge who's going to win depending on who's got a more favorable team composition.
Me too, I only go bet with Dota 2. I'm not an expert on it but because as someone who understands the game, that's why I chose it. With CSGO, I saw its popularity especially on the betting but I'm not that interested anymore on it although I know how to play the game.
In Dota 2, it's easy to bet and to understand if you know some teams already and players that are going with a match just like any other sports or esports that you know.
When it comes to esports then Dota2 is the most popular even though there are lots of mmropg and shooting games that do become popular but still this game couldnt really be beaten up considering that

on time tournaments do happen then prize pool of this one is the biggest in esports history which couldnt be  achieved by other games which does signify that when it comes to popularity then

nothing beats out this game. Its true that Dota2 is popular but also with CSgo but i cant just feel on making out some bets due to some interest issues.
3031  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 21, 2022, 10:56:26 PM

A lot of people join investments in cryptocurrencies because many people share about instant rich or instant profits, they invest without any proper education rather than make it a stable investment they make it like a gamble. They should know the volatility in the crypto market but that doesn't mean the money they invest is gone although they sell it at a lower price. Keep calm and buy the dip

That's the common reason I know from many newbies in crypto today is because of the instant profit, high profit that they have heard from other investors and traders. Well, actually I will not going to disagree with it because earning a high profit in crypto is very much possible but also losing it instantly is also very much possible if we don't have enough knowledge on how to deal with it. Most of them are being attracted by the hype which they don't know the principle of crypto, the volatility and the high risk of crypto.
Once they do experience on being fucked up then this is the time that they would really learn for themselves on how reality works on this crypto space.Even myself when im still a noob does have this kind

of behavior or beliefs in mind which i wouldnt deny and for sure most people does have the same since we do start on being a newbie and when you do saw someone who do flex out some good earning

then that greed of yours inside will definitely poked up and thats the time you would be molding up different bad impressions.

He clearly love the sport and if Mike do really mind off on making millions then he wont really hesitate on doing this for the sake of money but it proves out that the passion he had on boxing is never
been that way.

I do respect that call and for sure most fans do amaze about on this decision but pretty sure that we are really longing to see on how Mike would whopped Jakes ass.

It is just Mike doesnt really like on this kind of set up which is understandable.
3033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low, Sell high? on: January 21, 2022, 08:15:35 PM
The problem is we don't take a lesson from our past. We just forgot our past and that's human behavior. Don't forget past is cryptologic. How many times does Bitcoin drop and pump in front of us? Did we take advantage? Most of our answers will no. However, once a time I was panicking as well when see the price start dump. But day by day I learn from my past how missed opportunities to accumulate crypto at a lower price. So from now, I don't become panic and try to accumulate step by step though I don't just jump with all of my portfolios. A part of my funds just reserve for accumulate in more dip. So yes, I try to accumulate when the price starts to dump and sell it at a high price.
One thing that would be molded out is your awareness and experience and its impossible for someone not to remember out these scenarios and didnt make out even just single learning from it?

Buying low and Selling high might really be very basic to hear off but doing it would be totally completely a very hard to be done since it cant be possible on dealing an unpredictable market.

But once you do attain some experience  then you do know at least on how the market behaves and act according to it on every scenario.
3034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BMs, does bounties help the project? on: January 20, 2022, 11:15:52 PM
I think of course Bounty help the projects. Bounty is a great way to spread the word about a project in short time. If Bounty had not helped any project, it would have lost its popularity by now, and no project would pay for Bounty.
Come to mind off that not all projects are legit, most of them are shit and scam/frauds which they do really pay but into those tokens/coins which doesnt really have actual value.

On general, bounties are still relevant considering that this place had the most crypto traffic today then it would really be just sensible on showing up some exposure on this
place yet investors are mostly lurking on here.

So as to speak that it is still helpful and to those who said it isnt then their projects are shit.
3035  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] Will Bitcoin dip below $40K? on: January 20, 2022, 10:20:22 PM
I voted for yes, may reasoning is that we are really in a bear market.

And we all know that the price will really crash during this time and we are almost in the brink of ~$40k. Of course, I don't want the price to go below $40k, but it might be inevitable as the market works in cycle and maybe we are in the new one (bear) so just prepare for the worst and if you have some money ready, then you can buy at this dip.
If Bitcoin were to fall below $40,000, it would have happened in the first month of such a fall, in November or even December of last year. Bitcoin has already firmly fixed in price at the level of 41-43 thousand dollars, and its fall below 40,000 dollars seems unlikely to me. I think that after a certain time, maybe a few months, we will again see a good price increase in this market.

Bitcoin did go below $40k ten days ago and bounced back, I think bitcoin might go below $40k again but what really matters is how long will bitcoin stay below $40k, because if bitcoin stay below that for over a week then it's definitely not a good sign. We all are aware that the last ATH was not the best bitcoin could achieve as it will eventually cross $100,000 as well but everything depends on the timing when it would happen as users are so impatience either they want bull run throughout the year or else get to conclusion "is this the end of bitcoin".
There were no fundamentals around like adoption or recognition which could might able to trigger out the market on having some possible increase. Its really hard to determine since this market

is already unpredictable in the first place and if we do stay for 40k for a while then so be it but its honestly frustrating because you couldnt know on when to get in or when to get out.

We cant be sure if the price would really make out some price increase or would continue to dip down further so this is where risks management differs.
3036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 20, 2022, 09:18:44 PM
True, next time he really needs to be careful of his body specially the athlete of his caliber, to be able to stay on top of his game, his body and mind should be in sync. If one is not then there is a problem just like what happen to him when he gets a sort of infection from a virus in his stomach.

So this is really a big lessons for him and now he should make sure that this won't happen and that he will keep his body healthy all the times.

As a fighter it is their responsibility to take good care of their body and health especially if they have an scheduled fight. Though the management should take this kind of reason as valid because health issues is really a big issue but then if this kind of excuse would be tolerated it would be probably overused. Still, a good chance for Casimero to defend his belt for the second chance that the WBO have had given to him, I do hope also that this time he could make at the weigh in and make this fight do happen because it has been postponed for a quite long time.

He can't afford to make a mistake for the 2nd time. Though he will just be defending this title, it's still an opportunity for him to show to the world that he is really good and he deserves a unification fight, that would not happen if he cannot beat Butler or if he will not take care of his body.

It's every boxer's duty to take care of their bodies and continue training to be ready in a fight, however, there are things that could happen which is beyond our control, sometimes a boxer feels sick despite conditioning his body well, so it's acceptable if he had a valid excuse.

The date was not announce yet but for sure they'll ensure that Casimero (the defending champion) is 100% healthy before they'll roll out the new schedule.
There are things which is inevitable to happen just like these health conditions or accidents or something like this and they wouldnt really be giving out those lame excuse for what?

Just make it sure that Butler would really have a good training with those time span on these delays and same as Casimero too on which even the schedule wasnt known yet

but for sure there are still lots of fans who are eager on to watch for this fight.
3037  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin makes a loser a winner on: January 20, 2022, 07:37:21 PM
Very Inspirational post but frustrating to those who early learn bitcoin but did not pay attention instead denied the possibilities of gaining .
There was a friend of mine that has accumulate at least 50 bitcoin back in 2012 from a small trades , but when he earns more than half year after? he sold all the coins instantly , and now he is one of those who is crying for losing a chance to become a millionaire lol.
this story is almost the same as the offers of wins to be Bitcoin is the lowest but look at it now lol.
But he also enjoys the benefits right? What your friend should regret is that he didn't know that bitcoin had more future potential and that made him cry over his mistake. But I'm sure he's not the only one to suffer the same fate as there are quite a few other stories today about his carelessness in this investment.

Apart from that, there are a lot of people who either squandered the opportunity to buy bitcoins when the big dump in the past hit $5K or they weren't brave enough to buy during 2020. I don't expect them to cry all the way because of that, but they should start to realize that bitcoin has something to fight for for a longer time.
People are different when it comes on handing out regrettable situations whether they do really mind off much and wont tend to move on because they do just waste up their once in a lifetime opportunity to get rich.

Well theres no turning back now because whats done is done and theres no way that you could really take it back.Charged it to experience because everything seems to be have
no potential but you wouldnt know on what would happen next.
3038  Economy / Economics / Re: Tonga will probably be the next country to make Bitcoin legal tender on: January 19, 2022, 10:53:02 PM
Maybe that would be plausible before the catastrophe that the island suffered, but now they will most certainly welcome monetary help from other countries, and most of that help will come in the form of dollars. So I doubt they just bite the hand that helps and goes full-on crypto while dollars are coming in as help. It0s not like the USA is banning crypto, but they are currently competing with it, and wouldn't like free-for-all on crypto. Just my 2 cents.
Could it give out some bad impressions which might result into decline of those help that will be given on considering that not all government do looks positive towards crypto? Possibly be but i

doubt that they would really be that childish on making such act but who knows right? We dont know on whats up into their mind and as long it do opposes up into their interest
then you do know on what would happen next.

Bitcoin would be a legal tender in Tonga? Good thing if it does happen but if not ten i wont be surprised.
3039  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is the best crypto provider to give you advice on how to trade in crypto? on: January 19, 2022, 09:38:52 PM
Short answer is no one is the best one and the one who tells you that they're the best one are lying about it. Signal providers are a waste of time, the only one that's making money in those groups are the people that was behind the signal and their inner circles so no, you are just wasting your time with those groups if you are in one or you are planning to join one.
I cannot say that I am 100% sure that these telegram groups that are providing signals for trading cryptocurrencies are reliable. I have never used them for once, so I do not really know how they work and I’ve never even gotten the slightest interest to try them for once. My main focus has always been on learning how to study the market myself and make the predictions, instead of having to rely on someone else doing it for me.
90% of them are shit and only a few do provide some reasonable kind of analysis which you could also look upon and add it up into your own analysis too.Its up to someones jurisdiction whether

if its considerable or applicable into his own trading analysis or not but just like on what others been saying that most of them are frauds or not really worth for you to engage on.
You could learn on your own and made your own analysis without relying into these things. Some are just manipulating noobs for their own benefit.

Havant has been around this gambling scene for a while I have constantly been confronted with this simple question from newbies in gambling, and this question is simply put to me, what are the fundamental skills that a newbie without experience should start with. The first step and a guide to a newbie.
You dont actually need nothing but rather;

"Invest on what you can afford to lose" Put up this line into your mind which would really be putting you in good control.Learning literally?
It wont really be that much needed specially if you are dealing with luck based ones but if you do tend to deal up with sports
then learning on a certain sport would be very basic. Most of the time it would really be just needing some common sense for you to deal
with specially into those luck based ones.
