3021  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversify Investments on: July 08, 2018, 07:41:15 AM
I think your chances of making more money when investing some of the capital in bitcoin are huge because with the relatively fast price movements increase you can be more excited in using bitcoin as the one place of his most qualified crypto in the affairs of looking for income.

It's not just about making more money. Having a diversified portfolio eases the risk of losing everything in one go. Logically that's how an investor should see it. Risks can't be prevented but you can lessen the probability of an all out loss if you have several options.
3022  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: July 08, 2018, 07:26:01 AM
The success of bitcoin is truly  amazing,  it has a big community  of supporters and  and every profit that it offers is really tempting  to anyone to be part of the investors. Aside from this every person who wants to invest in crypto currency for  long term and looking for a safe crypto bitcoin is the first choice. This I think that there is no crypto that can replace bitcoin.

Lol. In time, almost anything will be outdated but that doesn't mean they'll be gone. Crypto may very well outdate the current fiat system but there will still be transactions made in fiat that's for sure. Same with bitcoin if a better crypto comes up.
3023  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is religion necessary for humans? on: July 07, 2018, 01:37:13 PM
I think religion is not something which is necessary for the humans. If there is someone who can be called a god, then religion only hinders understanding this by imposing their ideas and rules.

Religion is a way to control the mass of people, religion now is a huge business

Well it also makes people refrain from doing bad things. It constraints them becoming out of control and sometimes it's a good thing. Though i agree that there are more times than few that religion divides people but it's positive effects in society can't be denied as well.
3024  Other / Off-topic / Re: International sports competition on: July 07, 2018, 01:34:23 PM
What should be other reasons for it then? Friendly competitions promote a lighter way for nations to pit their talents with each other. Of course sometimes there are political reasons to it but in general, it's a good way to bond with people from other nationalities.
3025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress? on: July 07, 2018, 01:26:00 PM
I check the price only when it's necessary. Deal with the stress could be really hard, but things gets better as you gain experience in the cryptocurrencies ecosystem.
I mostly check bitcoin price once a day because I think it is enough. There is no need to check the price several times in a day. There are no huge pumps and dumps in the price on daily basis. If the price falls it will increase your headache. To avoid this headache don’t check the price every minute as many people do. It is just in vain and will not reduce your tension.

Yeah for a lot of people, seeing the volatility first hand can make you go bonkers. Especially if you're holding a coin that plunging in value. It may lead people to making very bad decisions
3026  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How ethical is it? on: July 07, 2018, 01:24:20 PM
So, I have some bitcoinred (btcred). I received the new revolution or whatever coins. I am now trying to decide if I should sell my old btcred coins. They 0.20 USD a pop.
I do not want to sell something that if the buyer does not know that they are not valid anymore. On the other hand, you can never be sure. Maybe they wanna buy it anyway.
Any help on the ethical implications of selling an ended coin?

Lol. Few people even consider what's going to happen to the buyers. If they want to buy it, then assume that they've made researches and they have their reasons why they want to buy that coins. It's their decision and they're money anyways
3027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market on: July 07, 2018, 01:21:52 PM
Few day ago, the market seem bullish but now it over. People still consider buying or selling in this time, whales still not start to put more money to the market and everything moving make traders angry. No sign of downtrend, no sign of uptrend, these can cause more people will quit the market soon.

Quit? Traders have been in this market for quite a long time now and i don't think a stagnant movement would push them to quit. We've learned how to be flexible both for bear, bull and slow markets all the same.
3028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is worth buying coins under $1? on: July 07, 2018, 01:20:07 PM
What's your opinion on buying new emerging coins that are not yet on top and cost less than 1 dollar?
How do you decide whether they have potential to grow or not?

In my own opinion, credit coins has a very good potential in the market today because there are a lot of people who are interested on this coin and one of their feature is atomic swap which attracts different investors.

And these less than a dollar coin gives smaller would be investors a chance to actually invest. Though of course you have to consider the risks there. A lot of bogus coins start out way less than 1 dollar
3029  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: buy some, sell some, and hold some on: July 07, 2018, 01:18:20 PM
when you do trading, do you always think about this, "buy some, sell some, hold some."

I thought about that but it isn't always the strategy that i prefer. I keep some coins that are off limits and are for long term, whether i'min profit or not, like my bitcoins. Hold and sell when in profit at a certain percentage is what i do with the other alts though i mostly am a btc holder
3030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A trader's heart on: July 07, 2018, 01:15:43 PM
According to my point of views " A trader's heart " is his decision making power and accuracy of the decision he/she make.  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Well it differs from one trader to another. So i say there's really no specific definition to it as people have different takes on what trading is, how they see trading and what their goals are.
3031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your current strategy? on: July 07, 2018, 01:12:54 PM
I seldomly do day trading,  but I am holder,  I buy and hold for a couple of months then I flip my bags when I'm in profit for another good coin,  to do same procedure for,  it feels good holding a good coin

Same here. Though i do keep my core coins for the long term like btc and ether. The alts i hold like verge and cardano are traded and held in a cycle. Sometimes hold times are a lot longer because o seldom sell at a loss unless i needed the funds either for emergency or to invest in a better coin
3032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: July 07, 2018, 12:26:34 PM

For Dallas Mavericks fans: (What do you think? Competitive now? Smiley ) Hope they reached playoffs again even at 8th spot. Cheesy

PG: Dennis Smith Jr.
SG: Luka Doncic
SF: Harrison Barnes
PF: Dirk Nowitzki (if re-signs) (announcement just made last April but no signing as of now)
C: DeAndre Jordan

Bench: Seth Curry, Wesley Matthews, JJ Barea, Nerlens Noel, Dwight Powell, Yogi Ferrell.
I think they are a competitive team with this line up but to reach the playoffs, I don't think so. There are no All star player and some of their players are underrated and too young. I think if they can reach the playoffs, they will be in 7th or 8th but lets see in the next season. Happy they got Jordan for a 1 year deal already. Wish they find a good ball handler too. Better than Dennis Smith Jr.
Still the same team I guess, I am not seeing a star player who can consistently score.
Dirk is not in his prime anymore, I hope he'll resign, we have seen a lot from him and enjoyed when he was still playing exceptional.
If Leonard will join them, maybe I can say that they have a chance.

With the current acquisition and roster of the western teams today, its so clear that no one could beat the GSW. The team is so stacked, I dont know why these superstars today wants to have an easy way to get a ring. The competetiveness in the league is dead. Everyone wants to jump in the championship team smh.
The Rockets almost beat the Warriors but the injury of CP3 give them the advantage and they won on against the Rockets.

Now that Lebron is on the West already, we will see a good matches in the playoffs for the Western Conference. I think the Rockets can beat the Warriors for me with their current roster even they got Boogie.

Put that dallas team in the eastern conference and probably they have a chance for go a little deeper in the playoffs. But in the west? Nah. With boogie adding to the gsw lineup, a threepeat is a very high possibility right now. Rockets won't have the same chance this year, that's for sure
3033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be greedy! on: July 07, 2018, 12:22:02 PM
While trading we have to follow few rules and without following those rules there is no way to be a successful one except a successful by chance. There are lots of rules of them greedy plays a vital role. While trading never be greedy. If you become greedy while trading then you can be assured that there is 90% possibility to be a lessor.

Yes, this is one of the basic rules that must be repeated over and over again to save people from big losses.
Thanks for reminding!

Well sometimes it can't be helped, especially when your coin's value is constantly going up. You may think about what you'll miss if you sell at a certain point while the price is pumping. It's hard to make decisions in those situation
3034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bearish trend is over on: July 07, 2018, 12:19:00 PM
Look at history of price action of BTC since 2011, the price been drop until maximum 80% so actually hard to predict when BTC will be going up again. But in the long term the price will be able to go to higher than $20K because alot of good news in the market and also will more new investor jump in to crypto investment. Iam bullish for Bitcoin in the long term, and maybe be up trend just started.

Lol. When you say long term, that could mean we may need to count years before we get the movement we want. Hopefully a lot of people, especially those that bought in when the price was higher, can keep their patience up for a long time.
3035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin will go down below 6000 (explanation) on: July 07, 2018, 12:16:53 PM
I can't tell what is the bottom for BTC price, all I know is that this huge downtrend from 20K down to 6K (and possibly lower) will not be followed by a spike in price like we see with some altcoins, BTC tends to go up in a parabolic movement, looking at the chart right now, a parabolic trend has not touched its bottom yet.
No one can know about the dept of bitcoin, but still i am sure that bitcoin price is not going to drop below 6000$ but will hopefully start increasing very soon. Because investors know about the potential of bitcoin and therefore they will never let it go below 6000$. I think that investment in bitcoin in current price is a good decision, and will surely give you a good profit.

You really think it's up to investors dude? I don't think so. That's why i don't think you can be sure of anything. We've already gone below 6k and it's likely it will happen again. I just prepare for whatever can happen, basically that's the best we all can do.
3036  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Motivates you to Invest in Cryptocurrency? on: July 07, 2018, 12:13:59 PM
I get motivated with the income that I am expecting to earn from this. We all know that when we invest in bitcoin, we are sure to have a income. However we just have to wait for the meantime. In addition, I am motivated with the fact that this will help a lot of economies to rise in the future. I know this soudns general but yes it will.
Asjde from income crypto currency is the potential to grow in the market today as a new innovative platform that would lead to success of currency.

Well in general of course, you're after the profit first. But if you really think about it, the crypto world is really a vast expanse of opportunities not just for profit but pretty much everything. Legit projects using blockchain for hospitals, schools, transactions, real estate, and a whole lot more. Makes you really see how the future would look like
3037  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Volatility on: July 07, 2018, 11:49:27 AM
Is volatility over in cryptocurrencies? Nothing is moving.

The market is moving right now, somehow the market is kind of bullish because the prices are fluctuating, most of the investors today might be not sure on where to focus like sell their coins or invest even more.

Lol. Market is not moving? Probably you should observe a little more closer. The market is always moving. Definitely more than the stock market or foreign exchange. Volatility is constant here and will always be constant.
3038  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Do People Dump Their Precious Tokens With Ridiculous Low Price on: July 07, 2018, 11:47:42 AM
Because they always fear the market down to the lowest level, they may collapse so they close at low price, they take risks on this.

And they're being impatient for their profit. They think cryptos always have a quick profit so if they see that the price nose dive they panic to lose their money. And later they know they already loss their investment. Also they don't think rational and being an impulsive seller leads them to their nightmare.

Yeah i think that's mostly it. More than being scared of the market crashing, having no patience to hold for a long time or having no choice but to sell is more of a reason. That is because people buy in without a proper expectation that their money may get stuck for a long time before making profit.
3039  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term vs. Long term investments on: July 07, 2018, 11:45:30 AM
when consider short term trading. if we don't have much money in our hand we had better chose short term trading. it will help us to increase our capital. if we have much money we had better go with long term trading. in long term you have to careful with where you invest and how much you invest.
but I think it all depends on what kind of coins we have. sometimes, the coin is pretty good as a short-term investment, but there are some types of coins that are good enough if held for a very long time.

Yeah i agree and also the trader's capability and skill is something to be considered if you're going to choose between the two. If you can handle the crazy movements and volatility of the market and can remain steady and calm, then i think you'll do good with short term trades
3040  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What does 'Pump and Dump' means in crypto trading ? on: July 07, 2018, 11:42:27 AM
Pump means the price is going higher
Dump means the price is going lower

Good news that the groupchat has been removed, Pump and Dump groups causes chaos,
many traders specially newbies has been FOMOd because of P&D groups, so never participate
in any P&D groups.
Pump and Dump in the cryptocurrency market are alluding to the very strong value changes of some of the coins in this market. I think Pump / dump is made by wealthy whale investors wanting to dominate the market as they want. I'm not really interested in this kind of cryptocurrency market.

Yeah more than p/d groups, i think manipulators like whales can make any coin's value craziy high or plunge deep to attract most the time newbies in exchanges. Many of us have been victims of such i'm sure.
