3021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 08, 2019, 08:36:36 PM
So I've been wondering a lot time now why some people choose to play lottery which is made in such a way that it's statistically impossible to win and not any other game that gives about 49% chance to win? In online crypto-gambling there are a lot of such services.

Personally I'd advice against gambling overall (ye I know I wear a gambling signature at the moment!) but if someone insists on playing something without thinking or using skills, then why not buy a random stock? That'd give them 50% chance to win and with some research they could increase this chance.

I found this nice video a day ago, it tells the truth about lotteries in a funny way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PSWTDhHGt4

A very good point is made at 2:55 about the probabilities
Also at 4:07 they lottery in comparison with gambling and stock market in a funny way... "we take away all the skill of blackjack or poker just to make sure we have the best chance of getting your money"! Cheesy
Lottery gives you possibility to win millions with some bucks but consider, it gives you possibility which is very, very unlikely to happen. This hopes turns people to choose Lottery instead of other games. But at the same time casinos don't have good name in society, people don't like when others gamble and look them in different way but when you play lottery, people look you in normal way, for some society plays a role there too.
3022  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance Swirled into ‘KYC Leak’ Turmoil, Binance not Safu Anymore on: August 08, 2019, 08:09:25 PM
Government wants companies to know their customers, they open all gate for illegal things and they clearly know it, that's where money is created. Binance had a lot of KYC documents, didn't they know that it's important to protect users data? Yes, they knew but at the same time they knew that data costs money, a lot of money. Let's form it as a leak or hack and sold for solid profit, we will do illegal thing with legal reason and earn a lot of money, so why not? <-- That's the thought of Binance.
3023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hey Tomorrow ask your boss if you can be paid in bitcoin. on: August 08, 2019, 07:21:21 PM
Then ask your grocery store to accept it.

I`m serious, if you want to become non $laves.
If I get money in usd, why am I slave? What's the point of your statement? And please can you clarifiy why bitcoin is salvatory?
Seems you don't know well how system works. For example if your job pays in specific bank, you can request to get payment in another bank but that will be with delays and possibly withdraw fees but you can't ask them to get cash. If you'll ask, your question will be ignored. Same on asking bitcoin too. Just tell me some reasons why your "boss" has to agree to pay you in bitcoins.
3024  Economy / Gambling / Re: Warnings! A new wave of attacks on renowned casinos. on: August 08, 2019, 05:49:35 PM
Another good way to check some story about website is to search on google bitcointalk and then type website's adress. Since bitcointalk's pages are indexed quickly, user can find what is posted about that domain and if it's real or not after viewing some posts around it. If there is nothing about url on bitcointalk, better to avoid it or at least ask here, no one will blame you for that.
Primedice really need to take care of that domain primedice.net
Btw at first users have to be careful but sadly they aren't.
3025  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Support chainmarketcap.com,for real-time Bitcoin & altcoin prices. By coinlib.io on: August 07, 2019, 10:20:46 PM
OP at first you need to take care of website's design, it's not really comfortable for me and I think for many users.
Better to remove that popup window because that's not really needed (it just states enter website). Change top menu, looks very poor, also change background color, there is no need to keep that image of lion and footer looks very, very poor. In overall your website looks like a simple html/css and doesn't have professional and attractive look, you need to consider this because you have to trick customers with your template. Otherwise there is famous coinmarketcap and I'll use it.
3026  Economy / Economics / Re: Australian Tax Office allows you to claim for lost (incl. stolen) private keys on: August 07, 2019, 09:24:37 PM
Is that the real reason why some guys want to buy empty bitcoin wallets with old transactions?
For example check this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5170635
Because they can claim it was their wallet, money was stolen and then they'll really lose keys and finally end up with tax deduction, good win.
But on another hand, why do Australians want to take care of this? They'll have to monitor adresses, wouldn't it be better to just ignore and don't make this rule? Because seems headache with no benefit.
3027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only a Crime Tool on: August 06, 2019, 11:45:11 PM
OP how you and most of the people look bitcoin is very wrong. To start from the begining, problem are we, humans because we do illegal things. Next problem is money, fiat money, it's used in our everyday life and even bitcoin is calculated in USD value. Next problem is technology, let's blame technology before bitcoin. Without internet, computer and etc you wouldn't be able to use bitcoin so why not to consider technology as a tool of crime? I think with that logic that's the main reason and problem.
Then what about banks? Just see Deutsche bank and others, they were involved in money laundering and in other things. Also when does bitcoin comes finally? On exchanges, so let's blame exchanges because they give us possibility to exchange bitcoin into usd and other currencies.
So to sum up, that logic is "out of logic".
Everything has it's pros and cons and everything can be abused or misused, bitcoin isn't a problem.
3028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL THERE BE AN ALTCOIN SEASON AS PREDICTED on: August 06, 2019, 11:06:42 PM
i think many folks are been carried away by this current thrend by some people that " sooner or later" altcoins will BOOOM".
i don't think we will see any altcoin again with the recent flock of new altcoins in the markets. nothing is coming but investors should be careful in selecting good tokens and coins to invest in. surely, there are good altcoins out there BUT the Season, No way. we are not seeing any bull market for altcoins .
If there isn't boom at the moment, it doesn't mean that wont be in future. Also there is no guarantee that bitcoin will be major cryptocurrency every time. There are some really promising altcoins, for example Monero is great choice for those who want anonimity. Another great altcoin which was recently created is Grincoin, check more about it yourself.
Also there are a lot of factors too, if there will be created altcoin which will be better than bitcoin and will also be supported by a lot of services, then we may see a boom.
And on another hand, usually altcoins follow to bitcoin because it's major, still it doesn't mean altcoins won't rise without bitcoin's rise.
3029  Economy / Gambling / Re: Got scammed by Sportsbook /SPORTSBET.IO/ 1800€ on: August 06, 2019, 10:43:06 PM
I play now exactly like 3 years on this gambling site i never win more than 2500$ and invest more than 30BTC now itd worth like 300K with this amount all my problems got solved...

Now i have a issue on a bet and the sportsbet.io support dont give a fuck to help me..

In the moment i see all matches was correct i want to sell the betslip they dont refresh the bet

The bet was 1800$ thats nothing in the amount i play there..

But its okay what can a little men do against a big casino? Nothing

I give all peoples advice if you know any way to make money follow it dont gamble against casino

Casino win everytime

OP, try to get chilled please, better for your nerves and depression. You always have to keep in mind that cashout option isn't always available and never depend on it.
Your wins/loses means nothing if you aren't fair. Please keep in mind, it's written in rules that cashout option isn't always available. It's usually given when risks are 50/50 or higher for casino, that's how it works in every website.
Also that's not like little man can't do anything against big casino. Remember 1xbit, this is huge casino but got a mark of scam casino on bitcointalk.
Also see sportsbet's trust, in past they had some issue and with the help of community, that problem was solved. Alone no one can do anything but this bitcointalk community helps you. One man wasn't paid but after opening legit scam accusation thread here, problem was solved.
They want to be fair with community so you are in right place, open scam accusation thread if you think you were scammed but as I see you weren't.
I amn't against you nor I'm in touch with sportsbet.
Also if casinos don't win, then they won't exist. Gamble for fun, look it like a service which offers game in exchange of some money.
3030  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What could someone do with the private keys of empty Bitcoin addresses? on: August 06, 2019, 09:28:34 PM
Someone in the Digital goods section is buying private keys of empty Bitcoin address which had balance of over 40 BTC or more. And the requirement to have the first transaction in between 2009-2018. Please check here: Archive

They are paying very handsome amount too.
The recovery price is calculated at 0.25% of the total Bitcoin received.

I asked them the question that what is the business there but seems like they are comfortable to keep it confidential which is completely okay.

This was a response from one user:
Some tend to believe that they can trick others (maybe authorities?) with claims they had Bitcoins in the past but they don't have anymore. I have some hunches, but nothing clear (and I don't want to give better ideas to others too). However, very shady things.

(Also there are the forks, you know..)

And seems like we both have no clue however I am interested to know the possible usability one could have by spending that much money for some private keys which for me (possibly for you too) have no value at all. Can we figure out a possible project from this case?

Cheers,
Maybe they use them for airdrops? As far as I remember some airdrops were requiring to own a lot of bitcoins and sign a message from them.
But on another hand, as NeuroticFish says they want to trick others that they were owning bitcoins in past, I think this won't be the reason behind this because if you check any adress on btc.com it shows you if it was mentioned on bitcointalk and in which threads, so I think that ruins that idea.
So I think they don't depend on tricks because they pay really huge amount to risk for tricks.
3031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone else get crazy high anxiety when they transfer btc between wallets? on: August 06, 2019, 09:07:48 PM
Waiting for the mining process is always the absolute worst. Everytime I convince myself I've put the address in wrong and fucked myself... only to wait 30 minutes and find out its fine.

What do you guys do while you wait? Yoga? Help me.
Hmm, when I send huge transaction, I get anxious too, that's normal because one wrong character or number in adress and your lovely bitcoins are gone forever, it's not like bank where you have some chance to get transaction back so you need to be very careful but what I do is following: I copy bitcoin adress, then click on search (on browser) and when adress matches, then I copy that adress in wallet and click on send. I think it's good advice if you browse walelt adress from blockchain or browser, just copy, check if that matches and then send on that adress. After this check, I'm relaxed.
3032  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which Online Game Do You Want To See Bitcoin As A Payment Method? on: August 06, 2019, 08:34:17 PM
There must be really huge demand on bitcoin payment from most players, especially from very active ones. Because if they want variety choice of payments, they would add webmoney and etc (this is very popular in russia, haven't checked but think they don't accept webmoney or mobile payments).
Also they won't be against bitcoin but adding this payment isn't so easy if you have massive transactions and your project doesn't aim bitcoin as a major payment method unlikely cryptocurrency based games because they have to process different transactions and also bitcoin price changes very often so they may end up with low amount of bitcoin/usd ratio or higher one, worths for risk when demand on this coin is high, otherwise - not. In overall, you need a lot of people with same request.
What happens on forum about that? Have you opened thread?
3033  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 Free faucet🚰 7-day streak bonus 🔥 on: August 06, 2019, 07:57:35 PM
Is this the official Wolf.bet dice website, this one: ( https://wolf.bet/ ) let me know if it's true.

Yes, that is. If you clicked on anyone signature who using Wolfdice's signature, you will directed to this
Quote

2000 doge is only 50k in satoshi
how much lower would people want it to be? frankly , the depositing users should have no problem with the minimal withdrawals and it is usually the faucet users
or the ones who like to get free money from nothing that like low minimal withdrawal figures
they "forget" casinos are not charities or faucets to distribute free crypto , this is  a business
I'm surprised wolfbet has 10 million bets already ,its a relatively new site with 20-30 people online
wonder how did they manage to reach it in such a short period of time , must be doing something right
They want to it lower to low as 1 or 5 doge as minimum withdrawal same as other site.
I secondly with your question about how they can get 10 millions bet just with only less people online on there? Are all of those people using bots?
If they want to lower dogecoin withdraw, then I think they have to lower withdraw limit of all coins automatically. In any way, that will be useless until they use faucethub and I think they won't do it because faucet abusing is the least thing that any casino wants.
On another hand only owner can give us real answer on 11 million bet (yeah, at the moment more than 11) in such a short time. I think that may be old test bets which weren't deleted but at the same time as I see on website, plays are very active and bets are collected quickly.
3034  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will go below 100 $ and then > 1,000,000 $ on: August 06, 2019, 10:38:16 AM
Bitcoin price will go below 100 $ and later > 1,000,000 $

All the lost coins will become active: price will go below 100 $  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5134441.0
We will have an upgrade: quantum secure
The world will know that the Bitcoin network is still working.
Thereafter it will climb and we will reach > 1,000,000 $

Before solving 'shalecoins' https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5134441.0 it can't happen.
Can you analyze how huge shock it will be to see bitcoin below 100$? It won't only destroy bitcoin but overall crypto economy, there is no way bitcoin can fall below 100$ and even if that happens, there is no way it can risebup to 1 million because from 100$ to that schedule, it needs massive daily rise, that means everyone who will invest must gain huge profit, that means worldwide money almost double or triple or more and that's not possible in overall, that scenario will never happen, it's not 2016 year.
3035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to sell your data and earn some crypto bucks. on: August 05, 2019, 11:51:33 PM
Hello guys! It's pretty simple to sell your social media data and earn some crypto bucks. The big names in the social media industry has invaded our privacy and stolen our data. Little did I know before now that you there's a decentralized marketplace where you can sell and buy data. Both parties wins at the expense no one. Sounds great right?
Wibson can facilitate this. Wibson is a blockchain-based platform where you can trade your data for crypto. The wibson token is the lubricant of the platform and it's already trading on bittrex and bifforex.

To get know how this data trading works kindly watch this video: https://youtu.be/CFNYcy02fi8

Wibson website: http://wibson.org/
Can't call great idea of selling your data. If it happens from facebook and other companies, doesn't mean you have to expand knowledge around you and make it available for as much people as possible, you should try to limit that instead of spreading and speeding up of this process. Well, it's your job what to do with it since it's your and only damage will come on you, it's sad but people really don't care about their data, only easy money is what they want.
3036  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🛑 Looking urgently for an operator of our unique dice house game 🛑 on: August 05, 2019, 09:31:31 PM
Hey there,

We currently have two games. Jackpot & Coinflip. Both are player versus player game modes.

I know what you thinking, another dice game? Don't we have enough??? Ours will be different in some key aspects and community focused.

Our 3rd game is a prov fair dice based game on BTC made interactive, visually entertaining and community focused with certain crash elements.

We need someone that has time available to help grow this 3rd game as its operator. It is not yet live and close to finish.

You would be getting a stake % in the revenue made of this game.

The bankroll is currently investor funded with plans to grow it more.

We are looking for someone with past experience in running either a dice, crash or other type of house based crypto gambling game.

Key elements:
* Knowing players (being in touch with gambling community)
* Having connections with investors that could be interested to invest after seeing the game concept live.
* Past experience running as part of or solely as an operator of a house based game.

Please reply below if interested followed by sending me a DM with your past experience. I can showcase a design concept of the game if the interest is genuine and not competitor based.

Thank you!

Look forward to hearing from you.  Smiley

I think it will be a nice try to include your vacancy in cointelegraph's job section, a lot of people including serious ones, investors and etc come to this website and you can see statistics of their audience (adverts there may help you too).
Also doesn't matter if there are still many dice websites created, you can beat a lot of them with correct strategy. Usually design matters the most too after fair games and quick support. (I know a lot of people who gamble on specific website because they like UI too, trust is main factor of course).
Wish you luck in finding your wishful operator.
3037  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice on how best to protect your capital on: August 05, 2019, 08:46:26 PM
Over the past couple of months, cryptocurrency returned marginally back to the good times. This affects almost every sector of this space. Forum activity increases, as people get more interested, up starts try to take advantage of the surge to launch their projects, and scams also increases as Bitcoin ans cryptocurrency becomes a more frequent discussion across social medias, and the target is usually newbies.

If you are new to this, or joined because of the hype, one thing to note is that there are different levels of scams and it's not always easily detectable.
So view every prospect as a scam, until proven otherwise.
It's easy to avoid basic scam attempts like the use of fake accounts or ICO imitations. But, there can be scams hidden beneath legitimate projects.

- Always be skeptical; do not trust a project on first glance. Always look for a hidden threat, by assuming there is one, this makes you dig further into the fundamentals of that project.
- The fact that the project has been successful so far, does not mean it can not still be a hoax; never get too comfortable when you've out your money in an investment. Always be on the lookout for developments and stay close to the process involved.
- Never fully rely on recommendations; always to your own diligent research on any prospect. Do not simply follow the ideas of "experts" or "influencers".
- There is no guarantee;  no investment is a hundred percent fool proof. Even Bitcoin which I would say is the safest cryptocurrency investment does not guarantee profits.
Always keep tabs on your portfolio.
Can't say that bitcoin returned back to it's good times because we had a lot of highs and lows, price was playing very often between 9k and 13k but lately these days, there is really not best but good, normal situation. Yeah, number of scam projects rises but that's not only related to price, that's because people want easy money without any afford. On another hand there are really good news and a lot of people who ruin the name of bitcoin are sent to jail.
3038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Gambling and e-sports? on: August 04, 2019, 11:59:28 PM
With e-sports growing each day, like old ones Dota, Lol, CS and the new ones like Fortnite, PUBG etc, and competitions become more professional and more money are into, do you think soon we will be gambling with e-sports together with traditional ones?

I think it's only a matter of time, soon we will be betting on e-sports
E-sports, especially Dota was very popular as far as I remember, now Fortnite and PUBG has serious growth (well they are new too). These games are so popular, I think they'll be added among traditional matches because nowdays bets on tv shows have increased, for example bet on who will own Oscar, bets on serials (GOT) and etc. E-sports really have huge increase in overall, a lot of people plays them so there is huge chance they won't be only offered only on some websites.
3039  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] List of User who offer Rental SIGNATURE/AVATAR/TEXT space on: August 04, 2019, 10:39:16 PM
hmm, interesting but what if a lot of newbies will come with such proposal? I think that will take a lot of space and won't be interesting too.
As far as I remember, Blazed was renting his signature too, also OgNasty? Or am I wrong?
On another hand is it their wish to be included in your thread? Have you considered that?
Without Pin, I think it will be hard to find them because thread may have low rate of bumps (Don't think it will be as popular as Overview of bitcointalk sig campaign thread is).
3040  Economy / Services / Re: Windice.io Signature Campaign(1 open slot) on: August 02, 2019, 08:56:12 AM
I don't need any campaigns that will only scam people. You should merit me for this because I revealed the truth of you and the website that you have promoted. If you did pick me to work, I also become a part of the scamming scheme which I never wanted to be. This is a blessing because I did not become a part of the scam.

I played and I observed there's no way of winning on the site. It's a big cheat! Websites like those were definitely cheaters. Sportsbet's are better and fair because for at least the beater seen the official result.
Sportsbet is absolutely different website and offers different services than windice, how can you even compare them each other in this situation? On sportsbet you bet on teams and match happens in real life, on windice you just roll dice and there is provably fair system.
If you feel you were scammed, then open scam accusation thread and prove that this website isn't fair, we need proof, not simple words. Otherwise please be in quit because claiming something that's not real isn't good job.
