Here are my 4 picks for round 2 of the NRL. I just popped into the NRL website and discovered that Storm are playing the Rabbitohs NOW. 4-0 with 16 minutes gone ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Flh3.googleusercontent.com%2F-lO9BOmt_bYo%2FYjL8bahKRWI%2FAAAAAAAAA8U%2FZr085dz-fhg0NXq2qHMLUnqlnQdjckJqgCNcBGAsYHQ%2Fs1600%2F1647508587682594-1.png&t=663&c=L3R4NhyTBIGREA) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Flh3.googleusercontent.com%2F-XqonK1sLyYc%2FYjL8cFhxtdI%2FAAAAAAAAA8Y%2Fu3nz0Hnw5lcnvZOIzVCpcK8fZK5GiicHACNcBGAsYHQ%2Fs1600%2F1647508590527396-0.png&t=663&c=ZjU_1WmgfEWRqg)

I watched Nadal v Opelka and had Nadal to win 0.03mBTC @ 1.21 another big wager.
It was close just as Trofo predicted, 2 tie break sets. One of the commentators said going into the 1st set tie break that Opelka had not won any......while Nadal had over 30 ??
Anyway Nadal was able to negate Opelka's massive service game to a point and both had some fantastic winners and some epic misses.
Interesting indeed is Alcaraz v Norrie, I wouldnt know who to back on this one.

Just like not all civilian houses and apartments and not all schools and hospitals have been bombed, not all Russian soldiers are like these 4 or 5 wanting to have innocent ukrainians believe them. That wasn't the question. Why would someone cramp that many people in the middle of nowwhere. Any cellar in a house is saver, even the subway. If have no idea if even a single person died there, if so it looks more like a sacrifice like Normandy .......
No, that's exactly the question that needs to be asked instead of your straw man bullshit. Why bomb a theater? Why bomb civilian housing for two weeks so they become homeless and have to shelter in other buildings, such as a theater? What about people who don't have a "cellar", open season on them? Subway in Mariupol, yeah right ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Sounds like Tash is trying to defend the indefensible, very very few here are buying it, the evidence from Ukraine and the 2,500,000 Ukrainians left with nothing except what they wear and carry is far more damning of how Russia have handled this than any propaganda supporting Russias claims.

War replaced covid 19 Question is if war is not popular anymore what will be new bs ? What are the next fantasy or bs the elite rulers will create for us ? This war could be forgotten as covid 19 nobody dont talk about covid so lets guess what will be after war ? Let guess will be food shortages...lol ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) No, it's not over. Has it taken a back seat to the war in media and even in people's minds? Yeah, it has, but that's expected because Covid has been going on for two years strong and people, however, the serious situation may be, tend to shit to other things with time. So let's not downplay the situation. And yes, the same will happen to this war if it goes long enough (the same happened to other crises in the past). Covid is not what every channel talks about anymore after Russia-Ukraine broke. But the talks may shift again to China because it seems like they are turning thier heads to Taiwan after seeing the Ukraine-Russia war. This Ukraine destruction makes the Chinese realize the US will not be there for Taiwan as well. And this might just be in the news in the coming months when the Chinese ships surround Taiwan. And maybe the NATO army will also be on the borders of Ukraine on Poland probably. It would be a perfect time to make a move towards Taiwan when the worlds eyes are on Ukraine and indeed NATO are not willing to get involved unless the war or any war ends up on NATO territory. But China has a major upcoming problem, COVID is on the rise once again with what seems to be a new variant and Hong Kong is suffering massive deaths. So yea war has replaced COVID but its temporary. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/mar/15/china-covid-cases-hit-two-year-high-with-millions-in-lockdown-as-outbreak-spreadshttps://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/mar/11/hong-kong-tackles-deadliest-covid-wave

Well there are rules of war, and what we are seeing over the 3 weeks of this war is that Russia as the aggressor in this has broken some already with its indiscriminate bombing of many urban centres in Ukraine.
The reports I hear and see appear to state that Russian forces will fire upon non military vehicles. I suppose if they are willing to target hospitals why would other vehicles and persons like press be off limits?

Draw looks really weird without all those seeded player. Took a look at the markets today and nothing really strikes me as good opportunity. Will probably take a pass on the games unless I win my early ticket and have some extra cash to throw away ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) My only bet if handicap on Martić +4.5 @1.6. I believe she will even win the match but decided to opt for more safe option here. Sportsbet are giving Kerber a +6.5 handicap against Swiatek @1.47 and giving Fernandez +4.5 against Badosa @ 1.57. I've jumped on both with 0.01mBTC each (I know they are massive wagers!) I also have Swiatek to beat Kerber and I'm also aware now that I said a few weeks ago I wouldnt be betting on the womens side again....

^ I believe Nadal is "making hay while the sun shines".
I said just before the AO when Djokovic was sent home that Nadal will be driven to win that and claim the first 21st GS. He is still driven specially when Djokovic remains absent from the majors.
If his for continues and he wins the French Open he will be on 22 GS's and closer to the #1 spot He's up to #4 as of 7/3/22

Bitcoin was never created to solve the wealth gap. A rich person will always get richer if he/she does well, and a low/middle class person will always stay in their place if they don't outperform others.
And yes — if it's the case that every millionaire finds out the importance of bitcoin then all of them will have a good amount. Now, it's your job to be smarter and get in before them if you actually think that bitcoin could be bigger in the future.
Contrary to what many people want or believe, not everyone can be equal in terms of financial wealth. Its difficult to see people around the world living in squalor while the likes of the Russian Oligarch's exist with an obscene amount of wealth but imagine all the wealth in the world was divided equally out we would end up eventually right where we are now. There simply isnt enough Bitcoin to enable every millionaire to own 1, by the time they all realise this it will be too late for them. Get 1 BTC, HODL and deny one less millionaire!

^ 😯 cant believe Kyrgios said that to Warwinka, its player to player though and after the match at the net My wife has confirmed that !.
It was indeed quite a timid heckle but it was the timing, Naomi just after losing her first game and while Kudermetova was seconds away from serve this woman shouted out the abuse while the arena was so quiet.
I'll bet Kyrgios would condone what happened.
Just watched Monfils despatch Medvedev in 3 sets. Medvedev out!

I am also really sorry for Osaka but there wasn't some really big incident here. Hell I heard some much worse insults thrown my way from opposing supporters. That stuff happens and professional players must learn to cope with it. I know Osaka is a bit of special case because of her issues but maybe guy yelling that did not know it.
To be clear I am not absolving the heckler but realistically stuff like that will happen often and she needs to find a way to deal with it.
I think she will always struggle with that... She is a great talent and could potentially become a really great champion but if she keeps struggling with situations like this than she will probably not make the maximum out of her career. And as you mention, I already heard insults that were a lot harsher than these. Professional sports can be ruthless, and at the top level opponents will look for any way to beat you, any chink in your armour. Unfortunately for Osaka, her opponents will always know that she can be destabilised mentally, and I would not be at all surprised if some of them started to exploit this and try to work it to their advantage. Osaka is hugely talented, and the work she is doing highlighting mental health is really important... but the downside is that she is easier to beat. It was a woman who heckled Osaka, She or people she is connected to probably had a massive wager on Kudermetova to win! I agree that Osaka and all players should be able to deal with something like this but I dont think this happens all that often in professional Tennis

^ This discussion came as Bitcoin has gained popularity around the world but there’s no official symbol that represents this cryptocurrency yet What? I think most of us take it that the creator of Bitcoin came up with the Symbol/logo for their own creation, meaning it is the official one. There are a few discussions about that here too somewhere.... As regards Bitcoiners we wouldnt confuse the two symbols, we can differentiate between the two but I can see how possibly some people would mix the two up or think one represents the other.......at first glance. Here is a thread comparing company logos/symbols to the Bitcoin one but in the end the Bitcoin logo is unique, Satoshi made sure it wouldnt end up being the same > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5310432.0

Rugby League AustraliaI'm not too well up on the NRL, last year being my first year actively following Rugby League in AustraliaI did a bit of research looking to see how last years finalists performed over the previous couple of years and it seems to be predominantly Melbourne Storm and Sydney Roosters who have since 2017 been finalists Top 8 followed by Cronulla Sharks, Parramatta Eels, South Sydney Rabbitohs and Penrith Panthers each missing out on one season since 2017 https://www.zerotackle.com/rugby-league/2021-nrl-ladderAfter working out my wagers on the first week if the NRL between Nitrogensports and Sportsbet I am up....surprisingly. aoluain, Trofo, couldn't agree more. Winning ugly shouldn't be the mantra, but it should always be a weapon in your arsenal. Campaigns and tournaments can't all be won playing beautifully. Scary to see Nadal still know how to bag the wins by being at his shittiest.
Anyway, I've only got my old friend Tsitsi on an outright, but instead of winning, I've just backed him to reach the final. 87/10 but long way to go.
Re Osaka... I can't really comment. I think it's terrible how it was all managed, young talents should be protected, modern sports and all that. But yeah, take a break, come back proper. Be stronger. That's all there is to it, once all's said and done.
Re: Tsitsipas, he isnt on my radar anymore, I lost a lot of bets last year with him and he seemed to struggle yesterday against Jack Sock, no disrespect to Sock. Re: Osaka, I feel really sorry for her, that incident obviously affected her, she lost that first set 0-6. She rightly so asked for that scum to be removed but it seems they couldnt identify it. Its ok to cheer on you player, obviously at the right moments but to heckle Osaka is not OK, that scum should have been made an example of.

Nadal after the match acknowledged that Korda had the right to win the match and that both Korda played well and himself not so much.
This was by far the worst Nadal performance this season and he knows it. It is the mark of true champions, to win the match even when you are worse player on the pitch. With this win Nadal remains king of the hard court ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) All victories this season 16/16. I am afraid to even think how will he look and dominate on his favorite clay surface. This could be Nadal's year. Yes, to use a phrase used in Ireland's win over England in the Six Nations Rugby Championship yesterday, "They won ugly". Its a mark of a true champion and/or top team to be able to pull a win out of the fire when the game/match is going against you. Yea could be Nadal's year, he will take an immense amount of positivity from this and carry it into his next matches.
Nadal just made a crazy comeback in a third set against Korda, he was behind 2-5 with two breaks but he managed to win the set and the match in the tiebreak, he's on fire this year, Sebastian Korda is young talented player he gave Nadal problems but he was no match to the performance Nadal being doing lately, it's so good seeing him back and bringing a lot of entertainment with him.
Yes, we watched this match, Korda gave Nadal problems for sure in both the second and third sets. Nadal looked his normal self in the first set winning 6-2 but his service game was not functioning and Korda was able to successfully attack the second serve. I had a bet on Nadal to win this and thought it was going to be easy enough. The comeback from 2-5 down in the 3rd was unbelievable. Nadal after the match acknowledged that Korda had the right to win the match and that both Korda played well and himself not so much. Exactly, he even acknowledge that he got lucky on the 3rd set and win the set. For sure Korda will take his lost as a good teacher because for sure it will made him more confident going forward because as a young player he almost beat the legendary Nadal. Murray vs Bublik - surprisingly Murray is the favorite to win, what do you guys think about this match? I would probably fancy Murray as favourite, Bublik is unpredictable. in regards to his mental state and how he wants to play

Rugby LeagueRe: The Parramatta Eels, well we did right in betting them, I woke up to the scoreline Eels 32 - 28 Titans = nice one! I was following the Wests Tigers v Storm live score yesterday while out and about and I was worried about our bets at the break, I think it was 11-4 at half time. I have seen a few reports about that "Cannonball tackle" to one of the West Tigers players, obviously its an illegal tackle? it doesnt look safe to me. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/nrl/leilua-felled-by-cannonball-tackle-20220313-p5a48s.htmlRugby League Wests Tigers - Melbourne Storm Melbourne Storm Money Line 1.21 Bet amount:0.06 mBTC Possible Payout:0.07 mBTC

England lost #5 Charlie Ewels with a red card in the first few minutes resulting in a penalty kick followed by a quick try and missed conversion so Ireland up 0-8 in the first 6/7 minutes or so. There was a lot of handling errors which resulted in a good few scrums, the winger Jack Knowles had to fill the void in the second row of the English scrum and boy did that scrum function well, England got a lot off the scrum, they were able to bring the score to 9-15 at half time. Ireland didnt perform as well as expected with the extra man and England were running on full energy to counter being down a man and bring the scoreboard to 15 - 15 in the second half. .....until the 65th / 70th minute where Ireland were awarded a penalty and went ahead 15 - 18 and brought on some replacenents and scored another try and conversion. ::::::::::::...…..... Scotland didnt have it all their own way in Italy but at the end were eating Haggis Pizza!!! They would be dissapointed with the scoreboard but Italy I'm would take big positives from their performance. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Flh3.googleusercontent.com%2F-aZcFjMBPOjQ%2FYi21I7kSkrI%2FAAAAAAAAA8I%2FTA4HXTiGPNY7aEgT4XYkMysDFXRFe2grwCNcBGAsYHQ%2Fs1600%2F1647162657486698-0.png&t=663&c=AbE3aIBie4QyrQ) The weekend RU bets gives me 3 wins, I'll update the post with the wagers later.

^ Andy Murray pledges season's prize money to help children in Ukraine Its easy to make the pledge of the seasons prize money when you are a multi millionaire but his pledge is very commendable, Andy is a good guy and well liked and respected on the tour. We should indeed all realise Andy is surely playing for different reasons now, he isnt stupid, he knows his capabilities I'm sure.

Rugby Union I was late home yesterday and didnt catch the first half of Wales v France and the second half was not a great spectacle, 1 score early in play and the remaining 33 minutes resulted in A LOT of broken play and handling errors. Wales came close a few times to scoring over the line with one opportunity being held up, in fairness the French defense was good, maybe a bit lucky at times that Wales attacking didnt fire 100%. France certainly didnt have it their own way and seemed to me to try a desperation drop goal attempt inside the last 10 minutes which went wide. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Flh3.googleusercontent.com%2F-BlvA2PDRkXI%2FYixmytnzP_I%2FAAAAAAAAA78%2FpBPuVVK8OngKM61tbwgKTAn9yj4TOsY8gCNcBGAsYHQ%2Fs1600%2F1647077064126192-0.png&t=663&c=sJZgiXq7rswOuQ)
