Looks like you are getting 13Th/s on average on each of your S-9s. I thought they were designed to run at 14Th/s?
I have them clocked at 587 and 600 at the moment. My thread on my 2 batch 1's https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1512186.0We are waiting for 2 batch 2's we will access the heat when they are put in. I think in the summer we will do about 587 to 625 clocks.

What a great Sunday 6 blocks already , BTC price is going up My S9s hashing on kano what else i can wish for today ? MORE BLOCKS Anyone who have S9 up and running noticed the 3rd blade (chain 4 ) is always hashing a little bit slower , and have a higher HW error rate ? or is just me ? By configuration page, Bitmain was referring to the "Miner Status" page and the "Miner configuration pages".
What PSUs are you using?
this is the key question. I suspect that the s-9 is a little more demanding then the s-7 is,thus some psu's fall short at freq 650.

Never catch a falling knife!
especially on Jan 15, 2015... There is no SNB kicking in for fight back this fall... Sage advice. Not for me though.. for all you low trade skill noobs ! Me ? I am a searing white hot comet of awesome. ..i just catch them with the handle. I am not an idiot Wish you were me yet nublets ? Or are ya all too busy gettin' DAO'd ? ..how bout dem profits yo ? I just mine and leave the trading to those that know how. So for now the coin is far above what I pay to mine it. I spend 140 in power and earn 380 in coin which is still a profit in my book.It may be we are stable at the 0.016 to .018 level for now which is fine for me. I call Bullshit.
EDIT: I was talking to a guy hours ago mining ETH and he said he was unable to break even now that it tanked. Yet you proclaim your making mad profits ? Something does not add up here.. someone is lying. screen shot taken just now. So it dropped from 380 to 359 since I posted so I am spending 140 in power and earning 359 a month and I have 18 cent power for the summer. and this is why most people posting against eth coins in this section do not understand my point. intel,AMD,Nvidia have a vested interest in propping up eth coin as it will help to sell their gear.

the number of hardware errors means nothing the % does 0.0019 means 99.81 % are good. but as a suggestion clock at 643.75 for a day S9 still running her legs on kano, solo.ckpool and zpool/sha256 via APAC MRR relay. I manage the pools at MRR portal for ease of use. I am ok with 13.7THs at stock clock. Yes, the temps needs a bit more cooling but can someone explain to me the HW errors across all boards? PSU used is the one that came with S7. Many have advised me to test using a EVGA-1600w to stabilize the HW errors but I am thinking why? Is Bitmain's PSU that bad to cause HW errors?

Can you share the screen shot of the main control panel page immediately after you log in to your S9? Thank you! Hi Guys,
I just swapped out 6x SP30 for 10x S9 and 2x S7.
The S7 are running fine, however, the S9 are all showing <1THs at the pool for some reason.
I am mining on ghash.io and slushpool.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing that?
Thanks guys,
Hi Guys, Please see the screen shot at the link below. https://1drv.ms/i/s!AgwFONjNYqXLjLQ5XH0x8lApwRAFEAwrong screen shot. and do try a better pool kano.is is known to work well with s-9's

do your self a favor
99% = ? rpm
95% = ? rpm 90% = ? rpm 85% = ? rpm
80% = ? rpm
run all above for an hour find the exact rpms
you may find the speed of 90% is better then 99% for cooling as the wind of the fan flows better over the heat sinks
outdoor running is okay if you can protect the gear from moisture.
If you find a number like 88% works well use it over 99%

Yes, it does alter the sound. I was testing my s9 at work and using one of my DPS to power it. While moving it around I found that changing the airflow at the s9 fan intake changed the pitch/sound. Didn't have to restrict the flow, just change it. Then stuck some foam air filter in front of the fan and no more siren.
That extra money they could have made for a fast-track delivery is why I think something went wonky in their parts supply/production schedules with the line/subcontractor doing the b3's finishing first. Sticking strictly to parts allocation and per-batch tagging of sales led to the flub.
I had two batch twos on order to not offer me the option to send in 200 for fast track was dumb. I am sure many batch two buyers would have sent in 100 more.

So I guess you and your wife are eating out for a while. Or maybe grilling in the backyard?
While OT, I'd like to see it when it's done.
Good luck with the remodel!
Pizza tonight . Steaks at local steak house in Friday. Sunday I will grill steaks.

I have been mining Ethereum for a few months and set up a pool that I use privately. I have been pool hopping and have only used it periodically. It is sammy007's pool software and I am running it with 4 hour payouts.
I have done nothing to the original code.
I have decided to open the pool to anyone that does not support a hard fork.
The pool address is:
miningeth.com
I would prefer to keep politics out, suffice it to say I do not support the Hard Fork
I will check it out.

I think Ethereum will be no more among us after this attack, the issues to it will be fixed sooner but i don't think that it will survive for longer , it will die in this year.
Vitalik Buterin did the mistake of his life by pannicking about people panic selling and demanding that exchanges froze the ETH markets... I mean what the FUCK? Think about this for a moment. This is terrible and sets a scary precedent. This would never happen with BTC because everyone knows it would be a disaster. Wasn't there a bitcoin snafu where it went to 1c briefly because there was a major code problem in early days, like 2011 or 2012? Yes and this is consistently overlooked by Spoetniktards. Not the same at all. BTC had a PROTOCOL problem, and BTC was tiny back then, no one even cared. ETH problem is just money being "stolen" (not really since "hacker" just used the contract's code), and marketcap is on the millions of dollars. When was the last time satoshi told exchanges to freeze all funds? Get real, ETH is fucked, BTC as solid as ever. you sir do not understand why eth coin has value and will survive this. Eth coin still mines at a profit and is the cheapest way to mine BTC via simple sell your mined eth for btc. please sir remember that intel, nvidia ,amd all desktop mining industry wants a good gpu mined coin that allows for discounts on your gaming gear. The only thing I would concede is any gpu coin that turns a mining profit works for the above major companies so if a gpu coin comes out that is better then eth so be it miners will switch.

Where did you hear the news from? Also, what is (s)he being charged with? Post a link or it's just a made up rumor.
Ironically in another thread there were people saying the attacker was planning to sue the ethereum and DAO devs if they try to change the code to stop him claiming the coins he has. The DAO rules say the code is the final decider in a legal dispute, and the code's rules allowed him to attack the DAO, so it could be argued the hack was legal. ===== BEGIN SIGNED MESSAGE ===== To the DAO and the Ethereum community, I have carefully examined the code of The DAO and decided to participate after finding the feature where splitting is rewarded with additional ether. I have made use of this feature and have rightfully claimed 3,641,694 ether, and would like to thank the DAO for this reward. It is my understanding that the DAO code contains this feature to promote decentralization and encourage the creation of "child DAOs". I am disappointed by those who are characterizing the use of this intentional feature as "theft". I am making use of this explicitly coded feature as per the smart contract terms and my law firm has advised me that my action is fully compliant with United States criminal and tort law. For reference please review the terms of the DAO: "The terms of The DAO Creation are set forth in the smart contract code existing on the Ethereum blockchain at 0xbb9bc244d798123fde783fcc1c72d3bb8c189413. Nothing in this explanation of terms or in any other document or communication may modify or add any additional obligations or guarantees beyond those set forth in The DAO’s code. Any and all explanatory terms or descriptions are merely offered for educational purposes and do not supercede or modify the express terms of The DAO’s code set forth on the blockchain; to the extent you believe there to be any conflict or discrepancy between the descriptions offered here and the functionality of The DAO’s code at 0xbb9bc244d798123fde783fcc1c72d3bb8c189413, The DAO’s code controls and sets forth all terms of The DAO Creation." A soft or hard fork would amount to seizure of my legitimate and rightful ether, claimed legally through the terms of a smart contract. Such fork would permanently and irrevocably ruin all confidence in not only Ethereum but also the in the field of smart contracts and blockchain technology. Many large Ethereum holders will dump their ether, and developers, researchers, and companies will leave Ethereum. Make no mistake: any fork, soft or hard, will further damage Ethereum and destroy its reputation and appeal. I reserve all rights to take any and all legal action against any accomplices of illegitimate theft, freezing, or seizure of my legitimate ether, and am actively working with my law firm. Those accomplices will be receiving Cease and Desist notices in the mail shortly. I hope this event becomes an valuable learning experience for the Ethereum community and wish you all the best of luck. Yours truly, "The Attacker" ===== END SIGNED MESSAGE ===== Message Hash (Keccak): 0xaf9e302a664122389d17ee0fa4394d0c24c33236143c1f26faed97ebbd017d0e Signature: 0x5f91152a2382b4acfdbfe8ad3c6c8cde45f73f6147d39b072c81637fe81006061603908f692dc 15a1b6ead217785cf5e07fb496708d129645f3370a28922136a32 http://pastebin.com/CcGUBgDGThat message should be taken with a grain of salt. The verification signature was badly muffed, it's not even verifiable. Absolutely no proof that this message did come from the hacker. Either way, there is definitely a controversy as to whether or not he should be held accountable or even have his earnings rolled back via a fork. Actually good news either way. The best case is they settle out of court.. The attacker gets a small piece and dao gets most returned. If it was simply a moron write up of code it can fall under typographical error. kind of like when a car dealer runs an advert for a $19.99 car vs a $19,999.99 car. Dao will claim the wording was a typo and was not intended to wipe out the coin's value due to dilution. If it goes to court all funds will freeze and many years will pass before settlement. So this was not an attack this was not a hack this was an error in the dao wording the dev that did this has been found outall to do over nothing. they will do a settlement or fight it in court. it will not affect eth mining . a smart fix is give the guy 4 to 6% of the error shake hands and move on. so lets see what they do.
