3041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: July 05, 2022, 11:00:02 PM
Tottenham opted out and went for Richarlison immediately. A fantastic deal for them.
He will be electric at Spurs, with that team around him he should be goalscoring hero for them, it was as you said a fantastic deal for Tottenham.

Harry Kane is 28 years old, and by the time his current contract expires in 2024, he will be 30 years old. His value will decrease next summer, when he will be 29 years old with one year left on his contract, which I'm certain he will not renew, and yes, I'm not doubting that if he performs well in Qatar, his value will increase, but I don't see him exceeding £100m
Maybe you are right but what is for sure Kane will not finish his career at Tottenham he wants to play Champions League football regularly and wants to win domestic trophies too. Spurs may have qualified for the Champions League for this season but there is no guarantee they will qualify next season and that scenarios must be getting tiresome for players such as Lloris, Son and Kane.

On a different note, Christian Eriksen was out of contract and available therefore Erik ten Hag signed him on a three year contract subject to a medical. Brentford were desperate for him to stay but he opted to leave to join Manchester United: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/jul/05/christian-eriksen-how-ajax-roots-paved-path-to-manchester-united

3042  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM EXCHANGE MONITOR: BestChange on: July 05, 2022, 10:47:57 PM
The way I see it the non-transparent feedback system is an intricate part of the reason why Best Change users click affiliate links on their website. Whether it deserves a red-tag or not, without Best Change effectively vouching for exchange websites (including Open Exchange) via their trust/feedback system (and then making money from them with their affiliate links), others that ended up losing financially under dubious Terms and Conditions could have avoided those loses.

Best Change still have time to do the right thing.

[...]
At least they have the opportunity to put pressure on the Exchange mentioned.

As for the non-transparent feedback system, that's a delicate issue ... but I don't think it deserves a red tag.
3043  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rocketpot.io refusing to pay out 170k win on: July 05, 2022, 01:39:06 PM
I staying positive for the OP but to be honest there is still a massive chance that Rocketpot are simply buying time in order to receive an income from those that deposit funds to pay the OP. The delays by Rocketpot to settle this has brought uncertainty to the situation and the OP is still waiting for confirmation he will receive then $170,000 in full even at small daily withdrawal rates.

Glad to see the good news they let you withdraw $16K, well although it's still 10% from the total amount you won, but at least we're know Rocketpot isn't ran away after someone win big amount money on their casino. I also already revise my feedback to neutral since they're no intention to scam, but they only slow to process your withdrawal. Sometimes it's understandable since only few gamblers can beat the house and earn huge amount money.
3044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: July 05, 2022, 01:35:59 PM
I would also like to see the fight going into a full 12 rounds. Joshua and his new trainer is preaching that they have developed Joshua so we wanted to see what this is though. Does he turn a good boxer, or just used his superior strength and power to overwhelm Usyk. I think the judges can't messed this up, this is a bigger fight, they better award the score to the rightful winner.
His trainer seems to be confident and doing a lot of talking but in the end it will be Joshua that enters the ring to face Usyk. I do not share the optimism he has because I am going for Usyk to win by knockout within 5 rounds.

Yes, that's right, but Usyk also came to the boxing gym at the age of 15, but of course physically Usyk seems to me to be more resilient, as he himself said that he was preparing for the first fight with Joshua that he trained spending 15 rounds of 4 minutes, so if he doesn't miss, then most likely he should win.
I was unaware of the history behind Usyk and his career. I will need to look in to this further to get the full background but if he also first started boxing at 15 years of age he seems head and shoulders above Joshua in terms of technical skills.

I did not know he was training or sparring 15 rounds with each lasting 4 minutes but it shows a lot determination on part of Usyk. And if this is what he did it strengthens my opinion about him winning by knocking Joshua out within 5 rounds.
3045  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How 1xbit gambling site scammed me and refused to pay winning bet on: July 05, 2022, 01:26:20 PM
The pun is spot on but what you described is effectively is the manner in which all scam gaming/betting websites (that have dubious terms and conditions) operate their businesses.

It is all too apparent they implement their ToS in order to satisfy their own agenda and that usually means trying to justify withholding payments to innocent victims who simply believed they were sending funds to (and playing at) trusted websites.

You violate there ToS by winning huge money(Pun intended). Anyway this is a very huge loss despite they refund the initial deposit because if the OP lose his bet, He can’t have a refund. 1xbit is getting worst on blatantly and yet they can still freely operating without any lawsuit since they are confident that no one will waste money to file case against them.

Maybe we should create a petition to cancel there gambling license to operate like on change.org or any gambling related website that the same cause.
3046  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BestChange is not a scam on: July 05, 2022, 11:27:59 AM
I will probably go first and leave a red tag unless there is a full refund within 48 hours.
It seems highly unlikely there will be a full refund at all. Best Change have stated they are not financially responsible for their affiliates stealing from Best Change customers. As for Open Change, they have stolen 10% of the deposited funds (around $500 at the time) and they will probably not return it even if Best Change ask them to.

Best Change has diverted their customers to 3rd parties for exchanging their funds therefore Best Change has to look at the manner in which it is conducting business with affiliates. Best Change should define what their future plans are regarding safeguarding their customers from the dubious Terms of Service of their affiliates and how they intend to distance themselves from known scam affiliate exchanges otherwise they risk receiving multiple negative tags.

Information that we do no bear financial responsibility is clearly stated in several places on the website. And it is so, even if you want the opposite.
3047  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ROCKETPOT.IO REFUSING TO PAY OUT 170k+ In winnings on: July 05, 2022, 11:16:53 AM

I am waiting for news about the rest of the money you are claiming. The amount is huge and any delays in receiving it will be affecting you on several levels. I think they have made steps in the right direction but Rocketpot needs to much more.

UPDATE

https://imgur.com/a/RkJwgyd

Good news rocketpot has paid out $16k so far. They processed the $6000 withdrawal Sunday and has already paid out the $10000 for this week following their limits. So so far I’ve received $16k of the $170k+. Good news is there was no delay in the $10k payout for this week.  Unfortunately still have no direct answer or confirmation from rocketpot if they will be paying out and honoring the full 170k+ in winnings waiting on the appropriate manager update for that. Now following their withdrawal limits I am waiting till next week to request another $10k to see if this continues. Will post further updates and every payment received on here

I really didnt expect that something like this can happen in 2022 and it gives me more urge to share the story and awful experience i had with 1xbit gambling site (https://1xbit1.com). Everything can be supported by screens of conversation, tx ids on blockchain and others. I have nothing to hide and everything to show.
How did you miss ALL the warning signs associated with the 1xbit/1xbet/kawbet scammers?

And yes even in 2022 this sort of thing can happen and does happen every day..... scammers are everywhere trying everything they can in order to steal from their own customers.
3049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: July 05, 2022, 11:04:57 AM
In many ways it definitely is financial management such as this that keeps football clubs away from spending too much and getting in to financial difficulty but managers and coaches should be allowed to buy players they want and for that they need funds. Levy will probably cash in on Kane at the end of the season but he will be hoping Kane shines at the Qatar 2022 world cup because he will be able to demand a massive £150+ million sale fee for him and those funds will help Tottenham buy more players to strengthen the squad.

The chairman at Tottenham (Levy) has been known to hold a tight budget and only allow his managers or coaches to spend the cash sparingly. He has made a big decision in buying big in this summer transfer window. They have spent very wisely because Richarlison and Bissouma cost £85 million but they also snapped up Forster and Perisic on free transfers.

If they get the best out of Richarlison they will be a great team to watch. I hope he slots in seamlessly alongside Son and Kane.
Financial management like that can provide a very high efficiency value to the club because it is able to reduce costs that are not important so that when there is information about players who are good and have good abilities and are suitable to be taken, they will take it even though it is at a high cost because I believe currently has a lot of money because the chairman knows how to control the existing money.
3050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: July 05, 2022, 11:00:34 AM
Highly unlikely but possible it will go 12 rounds but there is a danger that if Joshua performs a miracle and wins on points it could be a Eurovision style issue where Usyk wins when everybody knows he lost. I think a similarity would be like when Fury won the first fight against Wilder but it was awarded as a draw on the night.

I hope that if the fight goes full distance and judges are to decide who is the winner, if the fight was very close, then judges wont give a victory to Usyk "only because he is from Ukraine, and Ukraine has hard time now". Dont turn boxing into Eurovision song contest. If Usyk wasnt able to KO, then he would better be dominant and win fairy. Dont want to see politics involved into sport.
3051  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM EXCHANGE MONITOR: BestChange on: July 05, 2022, 10:55:31 AM
Thank you for pointing that out, yes Best Change changed the title of the thread in their reply and it continued when I replied to their post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5404706.msg60507390#msg60507390

I will edit my post to re-add the thread title again because Best Change should never have really changed it.

I am doing a test.

So, apparently someone has changed the title, that it doesn't appear as such from outside the tread or in the main title, but in the answers.

JollyGood, was it you?

"Re: BestChange is not a scam" appears to me from your reply.

Oh! OK. I see now. Best Change has changed the title in his reply and it appears in yours as you have quoted him.
3052  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitlucy withdrawal problem, does this acceptable? on: July 05, 2022, 10:18:45 AM
About Bitlucy withdrawal problem and could claimed with scam casino gambling platform and run away much money from member still not respond from DT usually active give flag for participants on 1xbit, why the most active DT like
logfiles
_BlackStar
JollyGood

Shut up and none of them are actively responding in this thread, are they just daring with 1xbit and turning a blind eye to what happened to Bitlucy, even though these two gambling platforms are both committing fraud against their members. Is the reason for the three DTs because Royse777 is a close friend of them so they don't dare to give a red flag?

Come on guy we are waiting all your respond about Bitlucy, show you are gentlemen said about Bitlucy and Royse777 are scammer.
What is the real game with you? How many alt-accounts do you have here? It seems you dislike Royse777 to the extent you are pushing others to do your bidding and that will not happen. Each member of this community can make up their own mind about how to proceed in any case of scam allegations.

I really hoped to hear the opinions of each of the members, logfiles _BlackStar JollyGood especially since they used to race to monitor fraudulent projects and defend employees against thieves and scammers.
I honestly don't understand why they ignore Bitlucy's situation even though one of their friends is involved with it.

In the face of this silence applied by the members who we used to see defending the right against fraudsters, and with their complete disregard for what is happening with Bitlucy, contrary to what we saw in their reactions with other fraudulent projects, the rule in this forum has become as clear as the sun..

- Create an account on the forum.
- Manage some projects to get everyone's trust.
- Add trusted members to your trust list. They will add you in turn.
- Now all you have to do is wait for an opportunity to be assigned to a big project or launch it yourself because your reputation is the guarantee that no one will verify its seriousness and your friends on the trust list will of course support you.
- Collect as much money as you can, and it doesn't matter that you lose your reputation because you've got enough in return.

I think everyone here remembers Luda and that great project that she worked on in her last days before leaving the forum. Does anyone remember how much money that project collected and about the fate of the investors after the project became forgotten? Has anyone ever thought about the members who joined the project just because they trusted Luda?
Almost the same scenario has been repeated over and over again, and the current example with Royse777 and Bitlucy is nothing but another piece in a big puzzle of thiefs who can manage things using bitcointalk forum.
Silence on my part? Exactly where have I remained silent?

I think between logfiles _BlackStar JollyGood and Royse777 are close friend and have special relationship how keep hidden each other if become scammer. It is possible that some of them have received a commission from Bitlucy so that until now there has been no response, not even a single comment on this tread. Especially for JollyGood he is immediately active when giving red trust to members who join the 1xbit campaign without giving warning first, but when  scams happened to bitlucy he was a thousand languages and not at odds with 1xbit.
I am not associated with Royse777, we never been friends or even close at all. We hardly interacted with each other.

Judging by the manner in which you are taking the opportunity to attack Royse777 for her participation in the Bitlucy scam as well as to attack various members including myself making wild accusations, I am curious to know what the name of your original account is? Why are you not using it to post instead creating another alt-account?

What is the purpose of mentioning my name constantly? Did I negatively tag your other accounts? Why do you have an anti-Royse777 agenda? Did one of your other accounts receive a negative from her? Is that it?

And to suggest any of the names you mentioned have received payment from Bitlucy is simply preposterous.
3053  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM EXCHANGE MONITOR: BestChange on: July 05, 2022, 10:01:13 AM
\When funds are frozen on an AML basis, the jurisdiction of the exchanger itself rarely plays a role, because they often follow instructions from the custodial service that they use to receive and store cryptocurrency. Such services are subject to all international AML legislation of the countries in which they operate (in fact, all world). Therefore, your references and hints are inappropriate.\
The jurisdiction to which the exchanger is subject is currently completely independent of the international legal AML rules (due to sanctions).
Thank you for your subjective opinion on the matter, but firstly, it isn’t so. Secondly, please re-read our post. We have made it clear that what matters is not the jurisdiction of the exchanger, but jurisdiction of the custodial service they use for receiving and storing cryptocurrency.
And the jurisdiction according to your opinion is...... ?
And the jurisdiction according to the exchanger is.... ?

Are you happy that the exchange (Open Change) you are affiliated with have confiscated 10% of the funds of your client because he was diverted to their website as a result of clicking a link on your Best Change website?

Are you happy to continue listing Open Change on your website and are you happy to continue your affiliation with them knowing what their Terms and Conditions consist of?

Ultimately, I think Best Change are partly responsible for any financial loss customers incur as a result of directing users to their affiliate websites. Those customers would not have been diverted to (and maybe never would have found) the affiliate exchanges had they not been listed on the Best Change website. As for the exchanges themselves, the very low rates of scam allegations against them (via Best Change) means thankfully this is still at very low levels. In the case you mentioned, why was the exchange not removed for their listing?
Following your logic, if I visit a phishing website through Google, they bear financial responsibility for my loses?  Sounds absurd, isn’t it? But you allow these statements in our address, because you want it this way. If you want to whitewash google saying that they don’t accept funds from fraudsters, do google that information. We can even share our case, when for many weeks we were trying to no avail to remove via their slow support a phishing of our service which was in the google Ads.

Of course, this in no away justifies financial claims that happen from time to time due to real loss of funds, and we are truly sorry for the victims in these or those situations. But we don’t have any legal binding with these services where users exchange their funds, formally we are a simple informative resource, that is why we must not make any compensations, although from the heigh of our authority we try to put pressure on exchangers when they, in our opinion, are wrong, to return the funds to the victims, and if necessary, in extreme cases, we transfer all the information we have to law enforcement agencies.

Information that we do no bear financial responsibility is clearly stated in several places on the website. And it is so, even if you want the opposite.
Speaking of the 10% loss of funds to the client that you introduced to Open Change, can you state the commission you received from Open Change from the 10% they stole?
3054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: July 05, 2022, 09:49:40 AM
Does Joshua even have the discipline to implement the changes to his style that might increase his speed while depriving Usyk of his? He is 33 years old, he came to the boxing world too late at the age of 15 and that is part of his problem. Joshua is not a natural fighter, he can defeat the likes of Whyte and Parker based on his size and power but is he really technically better that Whyte? Yes probably. Even though he defeated Parker on a points decision is he really technically better than Parker today? Probably not.

Does Joshua really have a ruthless streak in him to win if he gets in to the ring with a fully fit and focused Ruiz, Wilder, Usyk or Fury? I think it is clear he does not.

Yes, now before the rematch, all odds are in favor of Usyk and if he manages to maintain speed in the upcoming fight, he will most likely be able to retain the title, but Joshua's team is probably preparing for a fight in order to deprive Usyk of his main advantage - speed.
3055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 05, 2022, 09:42:57 AM
That is the standard pattern that many exchanges, on-the-fly-exchanges as well as gaming and gambling websites employ. I mentioned in a different thread today that the Terms and Conditions (or Terms of Service) have routinely been misused and exploited by unscrupulous website operators to justify withholding funds from their own customers/clients.

Winning 'big' is something most if not all gamblers are aiming for but that could also be a poisoned chalice for them because shady website operators might start asking for KYC in the hope the customer refuses, which would allow the scammers to keep the funds.

the weirdest part about it is that:

1 - when someone deposits a lot of money in the casino they don't ask for KYC

2 - when someone loses a lot of money at the casino they don't ask for KYC

they only ask when the person withdraws a lot of money, but it is strange because there are casinos that in their TOS they require that when the person makes a deposit of X value, that person makes bets that reach the volume that corresponds to the deposit so that he is able to withdraw, in this case it makes no sense that the casino still asks for KYC at the time of withdrawal, but they still ask for KYC
3056  Other / Meta / Re: Should rules on plagiarism be changed and updated? on: July 05, 2022, 09:35:36 AM
I think there is a bit more to it than that. Some members receive a temporary ban while others a permanent ban depending not only on what they have plagiarised (or allegedly plagiarised) but also depending on how the moderator receiving the report applies their own discretion. As mentioned before that can lead to accusations including those of favouritism.

The existing rule is so fine there's nothing to be change, the most important thing here is mods need to take action more faster against those people who do plagiarism so that they can clean up this forum and people can read original contents from real people who made extra ordinary efforts on their post.
3057  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM EXCHANGE: Openchange (Openchange.cash) (PARTIALLY SOLVED) on: July 05, 2022, 09:31:36 AM
It was funny reading you categorising the 10% they retain as a money laundering fee because that is exactly what it seems like Grin

Terms and conditions (or terms of service) have been used by all sorts of businesses to justify confiscating funds from their own users but in many of those that have been brought here in scam allegations over the years, it is clear by far the majority were cases of selective scamming, And that is what seems to be the case here.

It is absurd Open Change can insert clauses within their Terms that allow them to withhold 10% of funds on the basis of suspicious activity. I have never read anything like that before. Their 9. Other terms clause is equally laughable when they state their website cannot be used for fraudulent and illegal transactions.

Like you, I am also waiting to see what Best Change do next. Will they want to keep their association and affiliation with Open Change? Will they actually read the Terms and Conditions of all the exchanges before listing them, in essence them being vetted before being listed?

Just laughing at those ToS

Quote
7.3 If the analysis of the Payin transaction revealed the presence of these types of high-risk funds and their total percentage was 40% or more, the Company has the right to withhold 10% of the amount of the incoming transaction.
7.4 If the total risk of the incoming transaction is 70% or more, the Company has the right to withhold 10% of the amount of the Payin transaction.

So basically if the funds seems to be stolen they are charging a 10% money laundering fee.
I can't wait, hope I don't have to go to discord to see how the wanna-be lawyer saxydev is going to explain how this 10% is a requirement by directive 69 of the FY constitution.

Quote
9. Other terms.
9.1 It is forbidden to use the OpenChange Company for fraudulent and illegal transactions.

Wait, so if it's forbidden, then why do you accept them and take your 10% money laundering share?  Grin

Quote
Openchange.me tracks suspicious transactions of the clients and transactions executed under nonstandard conditions. Openchange.me performs its action on the base of AML FATF recommendations.

And releases them after taking a 10% cut.
At this point, there is nothing left to debate, scammers, law breakers, liars, so I'm waiting to see bestchange next move...
3058  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rocketpot.io refusing to pay out 170k win on: July 05, 2022, 09:17:46 AM
Though I also am impressed with the amount of the winnings, this case is not closed yet because it has not been resolved. Receiving partial payment (approximately 10% of the claimed amount) is not acceptable regardless of their ToS withdrawal limits.

There is also a possibility that Rocketpot simply do not have the appropriate funds and are buying time in order to cover the payout. If that is the case then it means this issue will go on for an extended period of time until Rocketpot folds and ceases to trade or if their income drops as a result of less traffic at their website. After winning a huge amount it is something the OP would have not wanted to happen.

Credit to Rocketpot though but they have yet to confirm they will honour the full $170,000

I've been following this thread from the beginning, so it made me happy to see that Rocketpot has already addressed your withdrawal-related concerns even if its just the fraction of the total amount.

Still, I must say that I am really envious of your profits, especially since that the market drop we are experiencing will significantly increase the amount of ETH you are about to receive. More importantly, using a hardware wallet for storing your funds will definitely give you a good night sleep -- just a reminder.
3059  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rocketpot.io refusing to pay out 170k win on: July 05, 2022, 12:38:54 AM
Excellent news  Grin

If you have received $16,000 out of the $170,000 claimed then it is a step forward in the right direction by Rocketpot. Until they confirm they will honour the amount you are claiming ($170,000) you will not be able to have peace of mind. Give them a little more time to make that a statement of fact.

UPDATE!

Will post further updates and every payment received on here
3060  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xBit.com Coming back to Bitcointalk, Solving all the issues. on: July 05, 2022, 12:28:40 AM
Some of us have tried hard to keep the 1xbit scammers highlighted in the forum in order to protect potential victims. I am not sure if there really is anything else that can be done by the community but I completely concur they should be stopped. I said in the past the 1xbit victims should get together for group legal action but nothing ever came from it.

It's unfortunate that there isn't much more that this community can do about 1xbit scammers. I think they need to be stopped. However, since they're being funded by well-known (scam) casino 1XBET, it's unlikely that anything will come of this. Will be interesting to see if this ever leads to a class-action lawsuit against 1XBET though. Maybe it can. There has to be enough people pissed off about this.
