Even the Central banks are buying more Gold (+13% from the previous year). Economists predict a dark year for 2019 and it seems a lot of large funds are now buying Gold massively. Especially from Asia and Soviets.
They must be buying OTC gold then, because the market as it is doesn't reflect the huge buyers interest that seems to be suggested here. It's entirely possible like what happens with Bitcoin, but I doubt it at this stage. Governments are mostly the first to notice that their economies will very likely perform poorly in the coming years, and would start accumulating as much gold as possible to hedge potential risk of devaluation asap. We haven't yet seen the global economy go full bear to see what its effect is on Bitcoin at current stage. I guess the odds are high that it works against Bitcoin rather than for it, but I will applaud being proven wrong if so. Investment on Gold never disappeared...the 3rd quarter of this year Gold price value drops to lowest point as posted on the Stock Market Exchange.. then after such drops it slowly goes up again..investors are often shift some of their investment into another project with high potential of gain on either short term or long term investment. The significant of Investment on Gold is simple..it is a solid asset compared to crypto as Digital asset. still it is an individual choice where they want to invest. |

This is really sad to see bitcoin at the dump price and it keeps on going down like there's no support level, but its hard to stop it because we have no power to do that and most of the short term investors are panicking, they don't want to enter in the market right now. To dump is a normal thing in any market, manipulators is normal too but hopefully they will stop from doing that now or else no more investors will trust this market because of too much volatility. We need a slow upward trend to get us back on track or this will go down in flames.  Let's start from spreading the good news about cryptomarket now, and slowly this market will go back on its track and continue to give a brighter future for us. This is not the end yet.  The harmful effect of crypto market down turn can be identified as Anger after losing investment, Depression etc.etc. These are manifested as reaction to the down turn of the market or huge drops on price value of such coin. but one should handle these caustiously. investment came with the degree of risk...the market volatility affects the consumets behavior.. it also the consumers trust and confidence on crypto investment that would influnce the volatility of the market. |

I think the offline marketing campaigns are more effective than any other social platform, because it allows the ICO team to appear in public and spread their word and attract more interested investors We have different kind of idea on Marketing strategy, be it on social media or broadcast, and print adds. this are just a few on how to market your product. but one should note that one has to be a good products for investment, good market structure, good fundamentals and one most important is the consumers positive reactions to the product for possible investment. it is the products that attract the investors, even with good marketing strategy Still it is the product should be package carefully. |

There is always a time when prices go down but most importantly, we should not sell our stocks without profit. When icos will have a specific model of return on investment and the market will be more stable only then I can trust my money to them.
It is a great market strategy for such project, But one should note that, every investment come the same Risk factor upon investment in the market, they may have a lot of Capital out lay if in case the market drops and such coin was affected by the drop. i may have some reservation on such strategy on ICO posting. It is very simple to answer, the icos performance is linked to the overall crypto market performance so if market stays like we are currently seeing i dont expect icos to perform well rather they will struggle even more but lets stay positive and hope that from december and january market will recover and volumes will be back.

There is a hidden flaw. It is called a "Quantum Computer" that can be used to crack the ECDSA algorithm that bitcoin uses. There is no easy solution to the threat QC creates. Yes, we can make a new address format that is quantum safe, but we CANNOT protect the coins in old "lost" addresses, because to protect them, the owner would have to move the coins to a new kind of address, and it cant be done, because those coins are lost. Bitcoin price value nose dive to a year low as posted on the market thread. But it is not the end of it, remember that there are a lot of Factors affecting the crypto market now a days, The in fight on the status on the market really affects the confidence level of the consumer's, plus the negative news posted on social media all of these contribute to the drops on the price value resulting to massive sell off. I think that we have pretty long period of stabilized market, but right now volatility comes back and it will not leave this market soon. Also I think that after few months of crazy price movements we will have consolidation phase where cryptocurrencies market will be stabilized for some time.

TUSD will not replace BTC as it is still backed by USD which has an inherent risk of reducing in value so it will NOT replace BTC as an alternative store of value.

I too felt disappointed at some point but that feeling didn't last long for me. Sure the recent price drop was not expected especially when we all thought that it will have some bullish breakout based on the descending triangle it has formed but the unexpected happened and I was not prepared to handle it. But then I realize that my disappointed at the price won't do no good for both me and what I am hodling that is why I would rather be an optimistic rather than to grieve like all hopes are lost, there is still hope and BTC is still fighting to rise back up again, after all we are all just speculators here and hodling BTC is really risky during the bear market.
I disagree that Bitcoin is destroyed? Crypto market is still here, actively trading, a lot of investors are either buying or selling on their Bitcoin for their profits, we know that every body here are investors knew the risk factors involved before such investment on Bitcoin, some are already gained, had enjoyed their profits from previous crypto transaction.
