There are only two scenarios that users can change their usernames: - Donating 50 BTC to the forum donation fund, then change usernames. - Asking for help from admins in very very special reasons, then waiting for replies and help. Months ago, I saw one user woke up after months or years (I do not remember precisely, honestly). That user asked for help to change that account's username to anything else that different than his/her real name. Then, hours or days later, that account's username changed to randomly one. That what I saw but as I said I did not remembered where I saw that case.

For anyone who's even thinking of doing this: this is a great way to get your account banned for plagiarism! Don't do it!
Before getting permanent bans as consequence of plagiarism, accounts will be hacked minutes after renting. There is no kind of contracts and security protection to prevent accounts hacked if someone has access to account. I know that if account owners have bitcoin signed address, they can recover their accounts later, but things will become complicated and kind of time wasting.

Bitcoin is down a little over 50% from all time high. Byteballs are down over 98% from ath. Not exactly the same level of destruction there.
How about other top altcoins when you compare their prices today to their all time high prices? It is not too bad for Obyte if you compare percentage of loss from all time high to today price. I know how investors who bought Obyte (Byteball) and other top altcoins at all time highs, and still held their coins by now. It is not comfortable feeling, I know. In contrast, if someone have spare money to use for investment now, they can determinantly do this with very good profitable potential in coming weeks or months. I can not deny the fact that hoping altcoins recovering to their all time highs, in both BTC or USDT pairs is unrealistic, so my advice is selling when they move upwards around 30 percent, and wait dips to buy them back. Repeats that trading strategies for several rounds, then some months later, investors who bought at all time highs can get their capital back. It's not easy, and it costs lots of time, but it will do help them.

Invest in crypto currency is not bad option if you compare to investments in other traditional assets like Gold, stocks, bonds, etc. However, the point is which one to invest all or most of your capital?
It is definitely that investors never should invest all of their capital in only one asset, even bitcoin. My advice is: - 70 to 90% of your capital should be allocated for bitcoin investment. - 10 to 30% of your capital should be allocated for altcoin investment. For the portion of capital allocated for altcoins, you should divide them into two parts: - The first part: 70 to 90% of them for top altcoins. - The second part: 10 to 30% of them for new altcoins that you see kinda potential from them. Remember that part is for highly risky investment.

Xploited (CLAMS creator) is employed/partnered with me over on FreeBitcoins.com.
The new CLAM version is making headway, but we have been jammed up with shit for a while. CLAM works.
Polo had polo problems. I do admit that my faucet did make their problems stand out a bit it seems.
Poloniex announced they will delist CLAMS next month, and the problem from now on will not be Poloniex-related things. What we need to help CLAMS to come back is new exchanges, one at least, because of the nearly dead Yobit exchange (for CLAMS). If there is no new exchange for CLAMS in coming weeks or months, people will keep dumping their CLAMS at lower prices, and that is not what we all expect. Anyway, I think CLAMS team can do their works to bring CLAMS to other exchanges. If a funny coin like Dogecoin can be listed on Binance, whey not CLAMS?

Four days passed fastly and Dogecoin has not risen as expected, but I don't worry with my investment in Dogecoin. Price below 30 satoshis is very good to invest, both short and long term. Dogecoin habitually performs very intensively. When it start rising, it usually rockets to the Moon. I will hold my Dogecoin and won't sell them below 40 satoshis till the end of this year. To be honest, I am greedy a little bit, and will keep a minor proportion of my Dogecoin and set sell orders around 80 satoshis. At least, I know I will not get losses with Dogecoin, with my entry price points and at entry price of Bitcoin.

Problems, yes, there are problems need to be solved in order to improve Solaris network performance and capability, profitability for small investors. Serious problems, no, there are no serious problems? Why do I say like this? Among altcoins born in early of 2017, how many of them have still been actively developed by developers and have not yet abandoned? Solaris is a very rare 2017-born altcoins have still been actively developed and lively operated nowadays. The team has never stopped improving the coin. That's a very good coin to remember. The txbit.io exchange is a good one, but it takes more time to grow and has good daily liquidity.

Better buy some supermarket clams in case they turn to solid gold as well mate.
Who care about the future in which CLAMS will become a solid asset like gold? Personally, I don't care and honestly I don't believe there is any altcoins that can replace bitcoin, both in important roles in crypto market, and in value. What I care about when I choose one altcoin to invest is the odds to take profits is higher considerably than the odds to get losses. That's all. My final objective when invest in altcoins is only one, increasing my balance in bitcoin.

If there are something helpful for newbies and need to be popped up instantly after they registered accounts and log in, at least the forum should integrate the Welcome message after their first log-in, or can expand the pop-up welcome message for every time newbies log in till their total active log-in time surpasses 7 days (as the appearance time for the first type of Flag) I knew that topic, but not sure that theymos actually integrate it or not, because so far it has still been a draft welcome message. Here's a draft of a welcome message for new users. The user will see it on the screen confirming their registration, and it'll also be available in the help center at any time.
In addition, there are some misunderstandings on trust and feedbacks. Most of users think they have same functionality to give warnings on potential scammers.

How many years since the day Satoshi decided to leave bitcoin community, includes the forum? How about bitcoin performance during the same period? Well, right? How many fake bitcoin, includes Bitcoin Cash, and faked-Satoshi, includes Craig Wright failed with their scam and price manipulations? A video on Bitcoin and some of its fundamental technical terms is good for crypto newbies, but I don't see why newbies and we all need to know who is real Satoshi. By now, any of things relate to Satoshi discovery only manipulated price of Bitcoin, and mostly dumped, so I don't like it.

This isn't the end for CLAM, it is only the beginning.
The polo delist looks like the end for clam Does delist from Poloniex is the end for PASC, while that coin still listed on another exchange with good volume, PASC's price also plummeted 50% as same as CLAM. Check: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pascal/#marketsWhat will happen with CLAM if next few weeks, the coin suddently listed on Binance? Do you guy think of it? If you have not yet bought CLAM, it is time to buy it. If you already bought it, it's time to hold, not sell.

I am positively with bitcoin's both short-term and long-term movements, but I think some of you guys are overexpect that Bitcoin will soon retest $20k, or break it around next year halvening day. Over its history, bitcoin has not yet broken its all time high before or very soon after its halvening days. I, personally, still enjoy the rally of bitcoin in next few days, maybe till the end of this month, but it is worthy to keep in mind that investors need to stay as neutrally as possible when they stay inside market, and try to maximize profits from their capital by taking profits at peaks, buying back at dips and doing it repeatedly rather than holding their bitcoin for years and expect it will hit $1 mil. for each bitcoin.

the altcoins season is about to start y'all, winter is coming! winter usually good for crypto.
It is too soon to call Winter is coming. We have still been at very very early days of altcoin season. Winter will come to us, sure, but not in coming weeks. In addition to this, there is another plus point for altcoin enthusiasts, next year will be an amazing year of crypto market, not only for bitcoin, but also for altcoins too. Enjoy the altcoin season, for now and coming weeks, try to take profits at as highest prices as possible, waiting patiently to buy at as lowest prices as possible, and waiting patiently again for next year altcoin bull run.

Is today or coming days the time for you all to rock, Dogecoiners? Let's take a look at the above image, and you will see what I meant. Coming days are very important ones, not only for Dogecoin, but also for altcoins in general and especially very very important decisive period for bitcoin. Any kinda movements of bitcoin in coming days will trigger altcoin movements explosively.

As we see on the chart screened above, there was already an attempt to pump PIVX three days earlier. I assume somebody tested the bot . Of course, this is great that PIVX is developed further but this has nothing to do with the latest price spikes. Pure pump and dump for me. This is truly a pumping test before real pump. Nobody knows that real pumps actually come after pumping tests or they will give up plans of pump and dump. There are more complicated steps to investigate to identify they will keep up their pump plans or give up, nevertheless. At least such spikes from pumping tests give us early signal that someone (groups or whatever) have plans to do something dramatically in next coming days. If they see chances to succeed with their pump plans, they will do it.

I did not see any single example where a second chance is given for plagiarism here or do u have any such evidence There are some users who have good net-effects in the forum, were given second chances and jumped out of grave. You can see some of them in OP, and there: [BAN APPEAL]UPDATE: Total table + Ban status (Need feedback from Global mods)Around more than 14 users unbanned (with or without signature ban). I think there are more than 14 unbanned cases because that topic probably has not real-time updated.

I remembered that many months ago, Crypto Bridge required KYC for US citizens without pre-announcement and a period for US citizens who don't want to do KYCs to withdraw their money. This time, they do the same, just announce and ask for KYCs for all users. People who don't want to do KYCs, or fail with KYCs will be unable to withdraw money. In addition, they require proof of address, that not require on most of other exchanges' KYC. This requirement is a big matter for their users.

Plagiarism is a crime and it is not only related to this forum. This is something which is not tolerable. Maybe in some countries you maybe fined or any other punishment if you are found in or violate the copyrights. What makes me more surprised is that people know that their account will be permanently ban if they are caught in plagiarism but they still do it. Either they are ignorant or they do think that no one will notice them.
Some users know about that rule but still do it while some users don't know about that rule till the days their accounts banned permanently due to their platgiarism in the past. But they both often appear with ban appeal and ask for forgiveness after deny their plagiarism at start. When proof shown by admin, moderators, forum users, and they are unable to deny their past plagiarism, they will turn into ask for forgiveness and second chance to jump out of grave.

Banning them would be a little bit too harsh IMO, but reviewing each of those posters for a signature ban would be completely fair. I think it's a great punishment for low-quality posters, it immediately hits them where it hurts.
It is easy to check post quality if one campaign has only 25 or 50 slots in total, but if that campaign opens for 300 slots like Cryptotalk (that figure gave days ago) and will keep rising over days, I think it requires decent time, efforts, and good skills from manager to check, ban bad posters and clean the forum by stopping shitposters earning money from their boring nonsense posts. Btw, I'm talking about a temporary sig ban, like mentioned in the OP, 30 days should do the trick. They'll either give up or change their ways, in any case it sends a really strong message to would-be-spammers.
Temp signature ban is just short-term solution, and they will come back with Cryptotalk or other campaigns when their signature temporary bans expired.
