Potential bart pattern playing out

Bart -schmart. Perfect logic - half of daily BTC supply will disappear from the market and we'll go down 25%!  Grin

Raja I've got a brand new Alienware laptop I don't need. It's a bargain for you just $800 in BTC. If interested please let me know and I'll send you my BTC address. Deal?  Cool

Surely give some more time may be have some issue so just because of this unable to give you any reply on Telegram.

Thanks for giving me the much-needed hope (or hopium?).

No please tell me this is not true... you're trying to say you've sent $1k worth of BTC first with no escrow to some random guy?  Huh You cannot be serious man...   Sad   I'm not even asking why you'd want to sell now for some filthy Skrill...

Well, all of that Skrill amount was (is?) supposed to get me a nice Alienware laptop, that I was (am?) going to gift to someone very close to me.

Hoping for the best at this point. Roll Eyes

Don't want to sound mean but I'd be already filing a police report if I were you... it's very unlikely you're going to receive your Skrill or your BTC back. Perhaps the account was stolen/hijacked/sold by it's original owner? Y u no use an exchange?  Sad

Anyone noticed that in the halving rally, BTC is outperforming the Top 10 alts? Generally, BTC move take others along and the lightweights perform better. Any speculation regarding this de-coupling?

Standard behaviour when Bitcoin surges big time. Usually, it takes 2-3 weeks for alts to follow along but this time, it seems different. The future of alts seems bleaker.

You should discuss it with Mindrust  Grin

What do y'all think, did I get scammed? I'll give the guy another 12 hours before I declare him as a scammer.

Mate, I hope you can be a bit faster in completing our trade:

Completing the full trade ($1000) with petahasher.

Sent the BTC to 3ELntVvTKzn1qT1Tgy5Jwk1CrcafTJeyk8, waiting for Skrill.

I don't think that it's a good idea to make someone wait for over 12 hours when you've not gone first in the trade. Roll Eyes

EDIT: Receiving no reply from @petahasher at Telegram either. Roll Eyes

He has been offline at Bitcointalk ever since I sent him the BTC. He seemed to have a lot of successful trades from some senior members around, that's why I went first in the trade.

So dystopian...

What a knob.

I wasn't interested in the first place but became rather less interested during this recent fall with him desperately shuffling his cards saying 'guys, GUYs, the model still works. Sort of thing.'

As ever it would hit $288,000 for 0.1 seconds and then be back to five figures or less for years on end. Speculators themselves can fuck things up without government help.

I’d rather go dark personally if Bitcoin goes $288k. Too much richness on display then.

Exactly this... criminals are going to look for big wallets and hunt down the peeps behind them...

I think Tuesday and wednesday will break 10k, theres a lot of fomo, news coverage etc. But what do i care, im just a HODDLER for life. I live my life satoshi by satoshi

That's why last week you sold all your BTC at $7,900 and were waiting for $7,800, but then you decided to buy back in at $9,400.

It should all work out in the end, as long as you can actually figure out some of the basics, such as HODL, DCA and buying on dips...

Of course, you can go beyond the basics, too, but best to figure out some of the basics before attempting to employ more advance tips.. just saying...  Tongue

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Suddenly, I realized that even if BTC won't moon during my lifetime and I will die with my stash unused I won't regret it. I guess it's the highest level of HODL.  Grin Grin Grin

Haha, all of us are secretly still PC Nerds  Grin

I always was. Not a single non-custom built workstation in my house until date. Remember the old days when my neighbors rang the doorbell to ask about the humming noise that kept them from falling asleep. I pushed the door fully open and they saw my four development servers in the wardrobe. Had to watercool them. Since then it's only low noise builds for me  Cool

EDIT: 1996, before virtualization became the thing.

Why no bottom vents? so it doesnt heat up when its on your stomach/ lap?

I bought a Acer aspire 5 slim ryzen 3 AMD vega, on amazon they are $350 but i bought a refurb one they $80 cheaper! it was brand new literally, not even 1 fingerprint on it.

I'm looking for a new laptop atm too... want something really slim... I'm an Intel guy (last time had an AMD CPU back in 486/Pentium 1 times it was crap so I sticked with Intel ever since) Defo no Apple products for... reasons...  Grin Perhaps DELL? Any solid and stylish models?

Dell got good reputation for offering long time support. You'll get spare parts for at least 10 years. (Or seven years, if i confused that with IBM, now Lenovo).
Quality went down over they years a bit, because high integration and all, but Dell's should still be pretty good. I'd go for a XPS13.

XPS13 looks great! So thin and reasonably priced Core i7 config as well... not sure if I want a 8GB vs 16GB RAM yet...

To all hodlers, and Mindrust, a 2.5 minute message from Warren Buffett during yesterday's Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholder Meeting:

https://www.youtube.com/embed/69rm13iUUgE?start=11600&end=11756
Reasonable: If you don't know what you're doing don't do it.

I converted about 10% of my retirement holdings to mutual funds/cash on Thursday. Logic being I was 100% into stocks and bonds, and I wanted to have some cash either to tide me through if jobs and such blew up or to buy dips in the market. Market has come back way too much right now, so a good time to sell. Took most of that from real estate as I can't see why anyone would have an office anymore since remote work is going so damn well....

That plus some bitcoin proceeds and such should keep me running for about 5 years without worry.

The other 90% I'll leave as is because I really don't need it. A lot is in overseas funds because I think they will recover sooner than the retards in the US. Will check back in 5 years or so.

Weird times. Wonder what will be next.

Haven't you heard? The asteroid (or has it already flown by?)  Grin

Size matters...

wait.

after all that time convincing my wife size doesnt matter.... great just great hope she doesnt see this.

That's not so bad as you're gonna need a new trophy wife anyway in about a year...  Cool and she won't gave a damn about the size of your package...  Grin just the size of your walet... BTC wallet of course...  Cool

Red red red.

The halving is of course important, but I'm not convinced it's that important in the long run. Most BTC has been mined already, the price can't depend that much on mining.

How many bitcoins are mined per day now? Around 1800? So roughly $15-$16 million in BTC to dump every day not bad huh?  Cool

The market is so freaking dumb right now, so I am not sure if it is pure giddiness, but would not be surprised if some economic number would really stink tomorrow and "stahs" reverse, pulling down btc as well. These were 2k out of 'nothing'. We shall see if it holds or not. I give it 50:50, but @Marcus could be right about a trap.

Moar upp for sure: halving is only 2 weeks away, miners stop selling and start accumulating in order to dump after the halving, governments are too busy to manipulate BTC because of the corona drama... did I forget something?  Cool

Yeah, looks good! Bulls are going balls deep and without lube. Poor bears... I wonder why nobody mentioned Masterluc and that his latest prediction was a failure.  Cool
And we need more rockets... and trains... and Hulk (bloody hell I'll post one myself):

You know what we're missing, though? One of Bawb's reposts of the R3KT Shorts resulting from the rally.

Always brightens my day.
