3041  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bounty hunter who is a SCAMMER — sold tokens but did not deliver on: April 16, 2021, 09:27:52 PM
There, you have all the proof. If you need anything else, please notify me and I will try to provide it as best as I can.
That's awesome. I am going to tag the account too. I suggest you create a type 1 and type 2 flags against the profile. I will support it.

It's sad that you lost that amount of funds to the scammer. Next time try as much as possible to use a trusted escrow. Scammers can be crafty, they can first build your trust and then scam you later.

The account itself seems to have been stolen/sold sometime back. I have never seen an account registered in 2011 in this forum still doing 2021 bounties  Shocked
3042  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bounty hunter who is a SCAMMER — sold tokens but did not deliver on: April 16, 2021, 12:49:37 PM
I am having trouble posting the pictures here. I have an e-mail with 72 screenshots from the telegram conversation with her. I can send it to you or publish it in some other form.

I also have exchanged a PM with her through this forum, but I am not sure how to link to it.

Sorry for the ignorance.
Take screenshots then upload them on an image hosting site like imgur and then share the links here. Make sure you blur off any sensitive personal details that could be used to dox you.
3043  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance.us market exchange just crashed!!! on: April 16, 2021, 12:44:24 PM
I have experienced this with Bitmex and Binance.com. In fact, I wrote about my experience with Binance when everything froze (The pain of trading in popular exchanges. Binance froze during the BTC spike)

Expect this kind of thing to happen in popular exchanges especially during times of price spikes or dumps (volatility). There have been reports about Coinbase and Kraken also crashing in the past.
3044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying CEL with TrueUSD or BTC on: April 15, 2021, 11:59:34 PM
@OP. Take note of the warning from that page of markets of cel. There's a warning that says that they're not related to bilaxy exchange and they didn't list the token there.

Maybe you'll choose to get on that exchange although the volume is very little. But that's a good warning since you're going to buy cel just in case you won't choose tusd or btc and might end to use eth as its pair.
Bilaxy Exchange are certainly very suspicious. I have seen a number of scam accusation against them in the past. OP should be able to trade with decentralized exchanges like Uniswap, 1inch exchange or Bancor Network. At least I have ever used all of them.
3045  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Don't use CITEX on: April 15, 2021, 11:45:28 PM
Going by the reviews on Trustpilot. It looks like they have been scamming people from 2020 - https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.citex.co.kr
They may have been good at first but they probably decided to scam later on.

Yeah, some exchange simply degrade through time so even if they may be ok years ago, they might be a complete scam now. I mean, just look at the ARRR coin and its price and volume on Citex at the bottom. It's so dodgy that even that shitty CMC decided to exclude it.
What I think is happening is that since the so called ARRR wallet is under maintenance. People can not withdraw the token, so what's happening is that they are selling it off for USDT or BTC which they could be able to withdraw thus dumping the token price as compared to other exchanges.
3046  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Protonmail Disaster Problem on: April 15, 2021, 11:10:58 PM
Yep, sucks, but terms are terms. Once you sign up, it means you agreed to them. They may look long and so boring to read, but they could turn out to be used against you in case of any breach.

What you did was really wrong right from registering for each of your members, especially when you are planning to introduce someone into crypto.  There's no way they are going to learn about how to secure their accounts if everything is spoon-fed to them. You could have chosen to guide them but all the registration part but should have been done by them on different devices
3047  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria will overtake India in P2P on: April 15, 2021, 10:49:14 PM
Don't go by the numbers. Less than 5% of Indian population have ever heard about cryptocurrency and those living in the smaller cities and rural areas are completely unaware of it. There are less than 10 million users in local cryptocurrency exchanges. If you add the P2P users as well, then the figure may come to 20-25 million. But still there is a good chance that there are more users in Nigeria (at least in terms of number of active users).
Where are you getting your numbers from?
Less than 5%? You make it look like India is a real shithole where people are so ignorant about tech leaps and cryptocurrencies unlike Nigeria but you will be shocked.

Let's not forget that Nigeria banks, CBN , banned financial institutions from helping in crypto transaction and it's not a huge surprise to me because in Nigeria 70%of the population get their daily bread from crypto and they have to adopt the p2p method
Last time I heard there were bans in India too. If I am not mistaken the bans were first heard of in India, so I wouldn't be surprised that we have so many of our brother and sisters from India using p2p too in a bid to bypass the bans.
3048  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria will overtake India in P2P on: April 14, 2021, 07:46:31 PM
This should be self-explanatory.
According to worldometer

India's current population - 1,390,834,742
Nigeria's current population - 210,323,275

Even if the rate of crypto adoption was quite high in Nigeria, I don't think they can beat India's numbers in the near future. Population numbers play a much bigger role.
3049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - I can't use my tokens on: April 14, 2021, 03:01:35 PM
It's why I hate EOS blockchain. Everything is OK until the resource become insufficient. There used to be a site that would save our asses - https://cpuemergency.com. Unfortunately it's also now offline.

Try using this site, unfortunately it's in Chinese, you may have to use Google Chrome to auto translate and an EOS based web extension to connect your wallet to the site - https://mytoken.best/freetx/

There are 2 options
1. Free EOS transfer
2. Recharging EOS into your account.
3050  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER colires, Remi Guile = SCAMMER WHICH STEALING MONEY, WARNING! on: April 14, 2021, 02:35:53 PM
The goods board seems to be a complete shit show filled up with scammers of all shapes. I have been seeing accusations and counter-accusations between different members, and it's even now hard to know who's saying the truth and who's lying.

Not that I am defending colires but the people accusing him don't want to provide complete evidence for some reason. When you ask for further evidence, they start claiming that you are siding with scammers.
How do they expect DT members to tag someone who has been accused minus any clear connection between the said Telegram names and Bitcoin addresses?
3051  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Crystalfxtrades.us - investwithalice on Telegram on: April 11, 2021, 10:49:27 PM
Old scam trick, unfortunately some newbies still fall for them. A person who reasons who ask himself or herself, why would a professional trader capable of making huge profits within hours loiter in telegram groups asking for people to send him money to trade for them? Why not make the profits off his money silently?

All the domains were registered towards the end of last month, and yet they claim they have lots of customers already

3052  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BEP20 - BSC - Bianance Smart chain - Which trusted wallet to use? on: April 11, 2021, 09:28:24 PM
Ya, I am using Metamask, it looks better than the rest, not installing too many wallets will make it easier for me to manage. But does it only work as a browser extenstion? What about mobile wallets? Can I connect?
Should I only connect to the mainnet? The tutorial mentions adding both mainnet and testnet
The Metamask mobile wallet can also work as long as you add the Binance Smart Chain network details.

Open the wallet, then on the top left where there are 3 horizontal lines, tap on them and select settings, Under settings, select Networks and click on Add network

Feed in the required details and finalize by clicking on Add.

Back on your accounts homepage, Click on Ethereum main network to show other networks you would like to change to.

Use only the Mainnet details.
3053  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BEP20 - BSC - Bianance Smart chain - Which trusted wallet to use? on: April 11, 2021, 08:49:14 PM
Trust wallet should be OK. It also fully backed by Binance.

Binance Smart Chain isn't much different from the Ethereum network as you will discover soon so the option of using Metamask is also fine. I have used it and it worked flawlessly. However, you need to add the Binance Smart Chain network settings on the wallet before you start using it. There should be a guide for this though I haven't been successful in locating it right now.

Edit:

Found it; Connecting MetaMask to Binance Smart Chain
3054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BNB is at it's peak price? on: April 11, 2021, 08:19:11 PM
You should know your exit target or strategy or else you could even lose all the profits you have already made and end up selling at low prices just because you are waiting for BNB to reach $1,000, $2,000 or $10K.

In trading we are also told not to be so greedy. Greed leads to more risks and the losses. I am saying this because I have ever held a coin until its total value was about ($20K) 2 BTC at that time all the way from just $2K that I had invested and guess what happened? I got greedy, didn't exit in time and then the bear market happened. I ended up selling all the coins for just roughly $5K.

But if you are a holder will to risk and wait for 4 years plus, then go ahead and hold.
3055  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase vs Coinbase Pro Question on: April 11, 2021, 03:14:19 PM
If that is the case, wouldn't it make sense if someone wants to trade 50k or l00k worth of btc or more... to always be the maker?  I mean...i know if you are the taker... you can just accept the offer just like that.  But how much longer are you really waiting for you are the maker?  Can't be that long right?

Example imagine you see someone selling btc for 59800 as the lowest price seller... i mean... you type in 59798... and say you have 0.0l btc to sell... wouldn't it get sold pretty quick anyways assuming the price of btc is going higher?
If you are a maker, you have to be willing to be patient at times in case the Bitcoin price goes in the opposite direction, or you could make adjustments in your order price to put it closer to the market price.

It isn't as easy as you may think because you are not the only person looking to have the lowest selling order. At times, you will notice that as soon as you place a lower selling order, other traders will also place much lower selling orders than yours.
3056  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Help Post: Recover Deleted Blockchain Public Address on: April 11, 2021, 02:24:15 PM
Alternatively, Just avoid using wallets like Blockchain that will require you to sign up and sign in using your email address. Instead, use a software wallet like Electrum that will give you much more control of your Bitcoins. You will also be able to see all the receiving and change addresses.

To export your Backup phrase from your Blockchain wallet and import it into Electrum, you can check out this post
3057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there's no USDT (trc20) deposit method in gambling sites on: April 10, 2021, 11:19:41 PM
Why would one use USDT (TRC20) yet they can still use Trx with an equally low transaction fee?
Imagine you have placed bet with tron when price of TRX is $0.10; you won the bet with an odd of 2.00, you discovered in the next few hours that TRX price has been decreased to $0.05. What's your net gain? IMO, nothing cause you are still with the same USD value.
At the end of the day, if TRX loss value much, you will be loser.
Does the site payout in terms of TRX or fiat?

Also "imagine you have placed bet with tron when price of TRX is $0.10; you won the bet with an odd of 2.00, you discovered in the next few hours that TRX price has been increased to $0.15. What's your net gain?"

If I stake my 10 TRX with and odd of 2.00 I will get 20 TRX. Whether the price of TRX drops or increases, it's only fair that I have I won 20 TRX. If a site lets you deposit TRX but only lets you withdraw winnings in fiat terms then run away from that site  Wink
3058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 10, 2021, 10:25:26 PM
Missed 3 picks yet again this weekend. That sums up my very poor performance in the pool since the beginning of this year Embarrassed
Now that the Bitcoin price has spike since the tournament started. It will be a juicy prize to the winner.
3059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 10, 2021, 09:14:20 PM
Real is winning now, leading 2-1 at 5 minutes in the end.
If they win they will be at the top of the Liga and this is astonishing considering 3 months ago Atlético was leading by 8 with 2 fewer games if I can remember correctly.
I am also quite surprised at the way Atlético Madrid blew up their huge lead from mid-season to just a couple of points if they win their game.  Shocked
As a Real Madrid fan, I already knew this one was Atlético's title to lose from way back but guess what?? I think all the top 3 teams now still have a chance.

What a goal from Benzema.
It was orgasmic, right from the beginning of the attack that led to the goal

The match was epic  Wink
3060  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: MyBitcoin.tools - The Best Free Bitcoin Tools 🚀❤️🚀 on: April 10, 2021, 12:50:50 PM
My concern is the Low Bitcoin fees part. Where are you picking your data from, because it's exaggerated.

When I look at mempool.space, the lowest fees in the last 3 block are actually much lower.

Block 678611 - The Highest fee paid = 501 sats/vbyte  The Lowest fee paid = 11 sats/vbyte
Block 678612 - The Highest fee paid = 347 sats/vbyte  The Lowest fee paid = 8 sats/vbyte
Block 678613 - The Highest fee paid = 201 sats/vbyte  The Lowest fee paid = 7 sats/vbyte
