Keep in mind these are "fake cars".
They will only use a model car far away from what they will use during the tests and races.
The model is only here for the media, it is here with "fake" wings and without secrets.

The RedBull is the basic FIA F1 car used to presents the new cars with the Redbull logos applied.

Yup, that’s why I think everything that’s ever written by the journos about which car is fast or which car is slow is all total bs.  The thing is nobody knows how these cars are going to perform until testing and until at least the first 5 races.  Like the comment about Aston Martin being the slow car...  But it is expected that they’re one of the slower cars.  Did they means slower that last year?  That would be funny cos it would mean they would be as slow as the Haas cars.  Cheesy

Anyway here’s the unveiling of Aston Martin’s car.  Vettel has think hair now.  Lmao!

^  A couple of years ago, I’d be really bullish.  But now?  Honestly not so much.  Not with the exchanges so quick to delist coins once they’re pressured by the government.  TPTB even got to binaryFate and it forced him to close XMR.to down.  They got Fluffy in prison.  Sucks...  I’d really prefer XMR to be away from the spot light and just be left alone to grow organically tbh.  XMR is a step up and it needs more time imho.
3043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: February 09, 2022, 02:09:28 PM
^  We’ll see...  For Everton, we really can’t judge where they’re going to be at by looking at their last 5 matches.  I mean a club could also win their next two matches and that changes a clubs’ form drastically.  So they prolly will be starting to get out of trouble by then esp if they win another one or at least a draw.  I’m hopeful and would hate seeing them go down.

Looks like Dean Smith is doing a good job with Norwich too.  The team total under .5 goals was hitting almost every week before they sorted their problems out.  Lol.
3044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 09, 2022, 01:50:52 PM
^  I wouldn’t mind and I really think it’s great but only if it’s not one of the big teams like Mercedes, Red Bull, Ferrari and to a point, McLaren.  The Alpha Tauri team could somewhat be considered a bigger team too with its connection to Red Bull.

Like I said a few weeks back, if there’s a team that could think out of the box, it’s Williams.  They have a great team of that doesn’t have much experience in F1.  So they’re prolly be thinking different than their counterparts.  But then again judging from the constructors championship last year, Alpine could be another decent guess.
3045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 09, 2022, 01:00:01 PM
Oh cool.  And that it’s really Aston Martin he’s looking at that might have found the loop hole?  I was thinking that it might be Adrian Newey again like with the blown diffuser.  Lol.  Which was originated by Ross Brawn in Brawn GP’s title winning run of 2009 with Jenson Button.  Cheesy

Anyway, I’m excited to find out who that team is.  It could be Williams too as they’re the most likely to think out of the box as said before.  But which ever team it is, it’s good for F1 as long as it’s not RBR or Merc.

Probably not, they are rumored to be a slow car.
We will know more during this week with the presentation but you know, they could use fake cars in these presentations to give no chance of copying before the tests.

Oh ok.  Lol.  So which team is rumored to have its Brawn GP moment for this coming season?  I mean if it’s Red Bull or Mercedes then it shouldn’t be considered a Brawn GP moment, don’t you think?  It’s expected of those two teams to lead the pack once again.

And I don’t think Ferrari could be considered for a Brawn GP moment too cos they’re a big team with all the technical know how to build a car from scratch, not to mention the money they have.  Even McLaren.  So that leaves Haas, Williams, Aston Martin, Alpine and Alpha Tuari.  Could it be Alpine?  Kinda hopeful it’s Willaims if not Aston Martin tho.  Grin
3046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: February 09, 2022, 12:47:44 PM

Everton edging closer to the relegation zone and are in big trouble unless new manager Lampard can get them on to winning ways. Newcastle are beginning to have hope of escaping relegation.

Compared to the current bottom three clubs, I think Everton has a decent chance to just stay up above the relegation zone imho.  Lampard will figure it out and they could have the better squad compared to Norwich, Watford and Burnley, tho a defense could be made for Watford.  But we’ll see.  That bottom three right now could be pretty much it at the end of the season.

And Man United getting a these kinds of results vs clubs like Burnley will cost them top 4 imo.  They cant’t afford losing points against these guys.
3047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 09, 2022, 12:40:04 PM
I haven’t made these bets yet but looking at the matches and browsing over their stats, my leans are AJ Dobson at 1.87, Alexander Hernandez at 2.47, William Knight at 2.48, Andrei Arlovski at 1.70, Nasrat Haqparast at 2.23, and Robert Whitaker at 3.35.  That’s 4 underdogs out of 6.  It will def need some luck.  Lmao.  I think a parlay on Wells and Morozov at 2.13 looks like a nice safe bet too.

And here’s a couple of Embedded vids to see what these guys are up to days before the event.  Lezzz gooo!

But anyway, from a pure trading perspective, watch out for ETH.  If it doesn’t implode after the hard fork to POS, easy trend up to 10k imho.  Talks going around that it’s def happening this year.

Borrowed from jjg.

LOL!  Yeah I know it sounds delusional but then again 10k is what...  Just around three times the current price.  And from what I heard it’s really looking like the merging of Ethereum and the beacon chain is going to happen this year.

Does everybody outside the ETH community really think it isn’t happening?

I am probably about as anti-ETH as one could possibly be.  That is not to say it might not be a good ROI, as it HAS been.

But ETH, like all big-block projects completely breaks what Satoshi designed.  First of all this is the simple logic: Blockchain databases with several other tech solves the Byzintine General problem and allows a decentralized database.  Once you make a blockchain huge you limit the people who can be nodes.  This centralizes the coin/project leading to things like chain roll-backs and scaling panic.  Sound familiar?  Thing is once you centralize you then have removed the only real reason to use a blockchain.  Now you could just use some high efficiency standard (SQL type) database.

So ETH ends up really only being smoke and mirrors.  And that's not even the worst part.  This decentralized world computer theater paves the road to a system that looks a lot like the current one, but with all the advantages of being centralized and digital.  But because it is centralized the banks will either kill it and issue CDBCs or absorb it INTO a CDBC.

That latter is your payday if you want to invest in ETH.  But it is also t he smallest chance, in my opinion.

Monero, on the other hand, might have problems scaling and remaining decentralized... but it has a shot not to, either by increasing use at a pace tech can keep up, or by 2nd layer scaling.

ETH makes no sense.

Here’s what I think...  I think we might have put a premium on ‘decentralization’ and all the idealistic stuff too much.  Giving up some of it is fine for other projects that want to achieve something more than just being ‘digital gold’.  Think about a world with no ETH, or BSC or AVAX.  We’d all be stuck having BBQcoin or Auroracoin.  Lmao.

And ETH has come to a point where we can say that it’s not going anywhere.  If anything, it could flippen BTC.

^  I don’t think there lots of action going to Whitaker.  If there was, we’d see line movement going Whitaker’s way and make the odds a little closer.  The lines are still very wide imo.  And the people who are betting on Whitaker are doing it for line value.  There’s a higher chance he could win in a rematch than what the line indicates.  Dunno...  It just feels that way for me.  Lol.  ‘This is not financial advice.’.  Cheesy

Anyway I think Whitaker has improved a lot since his loss vs Adesanya.  Can’t wait to see him back in there.

Who you guys got for Majestic 7?  I kinda feel good about these midweek fixtures.  It could be my lucky week!  Cheesy

My picks...

Coutinho
Gallagher
Bowen
Gray
Kane
Fabinho
De Bruyne

I feel pretty good with those names except for Kevin De Bruyne.  Sometimes it’s hard to pick which player scores a goal for City cos there’s a lot to choose from.  It could be Sterling, Silva, Mahrez, KDB, Foden, Grealish etc... etc.  Such a good team that couldn’t win the UCL.  Lol.  :/
3051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: February 07, 2022, 03:10:15 PM
^  Even if Liverpool is 9 points down, it’s still somewhat a long way from Feb to May.  There’s still a good amount of fixtures left.  And all it takes is a couple of bad matches for City and Liverpool is in there neck and neck til the end.  Maybe if it’s still a 9 point gap come mid April then yeah...  City prolly has it in the bag.

Btw...  Have you guys been playing FJ’s Majestic 7?  I just started playing again since I think there aren’t any matches that’s going to be postponed anymore.

By ‘Brawn GP case’, you mean a loop hole found by a small team?  So meaning when you said ‘wrong type of car’ by Aston Martin, you were saying they found something to exploit within the bounds of the rules even if it’s somewhat illegal...? Yeah, no one can discount it from happening since every team is designing and engineering their cars from scratch.  Makes me even more excited about the coming season if that’s the case.

Exactly, Domenicali who is the man who knows already everything thanks to his position, already said that someone could find a loophole.
Someone maybe has found a grey area of the regulation and used to get a big advantage as Brawn GP did back in old days.

Cheesy

^  Thanks for the back up...  I was about to make one.  Smiley

Here are a couple of free fights of Adesanya and Whitaker.  Both these guys have been looking really good as of late.  Adesanya got that one loss cos of his stint at 205 tho.  And as I said before the line value could be with Whitaker at 3.35.  I feel like the match could be closer this time around.

I know some of us like all kinds of alts... but I am more of a Maxi.  I think Bitcoin is really just about the only thing that matters.  With "just about" being super key there...

I tend to agree.  That’s why it hurts thinking how much I’ve lost in BTC and how much more I would’ve made in USD if I just stayed put and held everything in BTC or ETH even.  Damn...  I mean DOGE would’ve been a better trade than XMR during the bull market.  Lol.  It’s funny cos I really thought 2020 and beyond would be XMR’s time in the sun and be a permanent fixture at top 5 in CMC.  But no, it’s at 47.

But anyway, from a pure trading perspective, watch out for ETH.  If it doesn’t implode after the hard fork to POS, easy trend up to 10k imho.  Talks going around that it’s def happening this year.
3055  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for Feb on: February 06, 2022, 06:38:48 PM
I feel like there’s a coordinated attempt at baiting and stop running short sellers right now in order to trigger their stop losses, thereby taking the market higher.  We’ve already seen one succesful attempt o couple of days ago and a couple of unsuccessful ones just today.  But I don’t think it’ll stop anytime soon.  We could even see BTC go over 45k this week.  *crosses fingers*

What do you guys think?

Edit:  I’m hopeful it goes up and beyond  but then again I’m open to both scenarios.

^  Don’t worry about it.  It’s the thought process on why you made the pick that counts and what everybody should really learn from.  The wins will come eventually, granting you have developed a good thought process in making the analysis and approaching the betting market.   And it’s always good to share ideas and learn from other ideas...  Makes you grow.

RESULT:

Burnley 0-0 Watford

The game ended 0-0 which means Watford on equal number of points as Newcastle United with both of them remaining in the relegation zone. Burnley are still bottom of the table but have two games in hand and can clear the relegation zone by winning just one game. It is very close at the foot of the table.

Yup but those games that have yet to be played by Burnley are vs Aston Villa, Everton and Leicester.  It’s really doubtful if Burnley could win at least one out of those three...  There’s Everton but Lampard will prolly have revived the squad by the time the fixture is played.  The best result Sean Syche could get it to end those fixtures in a draw and get three points.  Cheesy

But yeah..  It’s pretty good to see Burnley stick to their manager.  It’s pretty rare in football, esp these days.
3058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 06, 2022, 05:00:59 PM
What other teams built the second type of car?  Just Aston Martin?  If they’re the only team that has done it, I wonder why take that gamble.  Slower at straights but better and slightly faster at corners?  They surely have the driver who has the style for it in Sebastian Vettel imho.

Anyway, we can’t read Italian, did that write up say the second type of car is surely slower and ‘wrong’ or is it all just guess work of journalists?  Cos we’ve also had our experiences with football journos and they’re mostly bs most of the time.

Nothing has been confirmed yet but the rumors are:

2 cars using the second type and one should be Aston Martin.
2 cars are using a new thing and we can have a "Brawn GP" case with a huge advantage if it works
Mercedes may use a walrus f1 nose similar to the idea of old Williams.

Like this one.

^  Good job!  I should be getting some tips from you.  Grin  Please share them as soon as you make them.

Anyway here are the results of the event...

https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/83125-ufc-fight-night

For a low tier Fight Night event, it was really good!  Most of the matches ended inside the distance and the Erosa vs Peterson one was a banger.  Pretty surprised Erosa’s chin held.  Cheesy

Anybody thinks Strickland gets the shot at the title next?  I mean I think he deserves it but the way he fights seems too ‘generic’ if that makes any sense.  He’ll just get tee’d off by Adesanya.

^  No rumors.  It’s just most alts are following what BTC is doing atm...  Everybody seems to be getting bullish.  I won’t lie, I’m getting a bit bullish too.  But gotta hold back, it could just be a dead cat bounce.  I’ll wait for BTC to break out of 45k, make a correction around that level and if it holds and goes up from there, then I’ll be bullish.  For now I’m just looking.
