I'm following this coin since it was born. I think if they can find a proper dev team; this coin will succeed. Just now I've bought 33k+ DP on bittrex and didn't sold a single one. http://imgur.com/ffNL8QZhere's my address: D8f9KoJbca3JzDwHS1buY3P6JTDEnLzxx9 It's your choice (and you are not risking much).

DP is gonna get delisted from Bittrex on Jan 31...
What's the bittrex's limit to avoid delisting? I'm gonna buy some DP. average .2 over 7 days I can afford that. Will it extend 1 more week or sth else? Komşu, why bother? It's doomed. I tried to start a discussion with the dev, but he answered me with nothing specific. P.S. I don't have any DP coins, but I thought that their intentions was serious.

I am not naive, and I am somewhat paranoid... but my decision to support Viacoin is completely rational, and i'm not trying to hide any of your points under the carpet. Many of us in this community have noted these points before, considered and evaluated the risks of being scammed, and eventually concluded that this coin is legit, the developers and their efforts are real, their progress is real, and we support it... in spite of FUD and self concerns that i'm sure everyone has at some point or another.
+1. It's an act of faith. There is no rational argument to be had, indeed it is counter productive to make a good case. Decent developers get on with the job, get enough capital together, and lots of reward too. Enough said! But there is rational argument - no hype and work (behind the "scenes" - as every good businessman should do). There is no need to read 25 posts/day from the developer or announcing "possible" news in a week or so. As simple as that.

Okay cool, thanks. I'll keep checking the thread. Glad it's revived, I mined from hour 1 of release 1, so still have millions of coins afailable. Might buy a few million more too at these prices ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Glad to have you back. P.S. I don't know how easy would be to buy few million as we first plan to reduce FAIL to less than 20M (which means that we will premine 20M coins for the swap). I believe that most of the coins will not be swapped, because many people still think that we are joke and probably most of them just deleted their wallets. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) With that said I expect about 50-70% of all coins to be exchanged on EmpoEx (rest of them will be burned). To tell you the truth, we still don't know what would be exact specifications of FAIL, but we will probably decide by tomorrow. Cheers, Spartak

Dear FAILers,
ETA for the fork is 7-10 days. After that EmpoEx will host FAIL swap for 2 weeks. Swap will be made in this way: 1) Person X send 1B coins to EmpoEx 2) Person X receive 250K new FAIL after 2 weeks
That means that total supply of FAIL after the swap (if ALL coins in existence are swapped) will be 19,500,000 coins. The rest of the coins will be burned.
Sorry but cbf to read whole thread. All i need to do is send FAIL to EmpoEx, I then get new coins returned? Should I do so now? Yes, you need to send your FAIL to EmpoEx and receive new within 2 weeks (rate is 1 old FAIL for 0.00025 new). We will probably talk with them again to see if there is possibility for the people to withdraw them earlier. Currently you can send coins to EmpoEx only if you want to sell them, because fork is not ready yet.

I am still behind you Barry, but first maybe it is better to work on the face of GROW (distance it from the weed) and then develop it. Currently I have a lot of work, but when it's finished I'll talk with FAIL lead dev about GROW.
How are you going to distance this coin from the weed, are you nuts? I meant GROW not to be only weed-oriented coin.

funny :-) I like football, but galatasaray is my favourite in the turkish league ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I might have started a pool if there would be some source... ocminer, Besiktas fans are one of the crazies in the world. Even fans of Galatasaray and Fenerbahche admits it. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Just watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUN96KzAlDM

Website and shop are down?
End of grow?? There seems to be a problem with the hosting company.. looking into this now... If you are impatient... pls go ahead and dump your coins... This is the last time I will state that I will not leave this project. I am still working on some things, but like I said before.. A one man dev team isnt going to cut it these days.. Im really amazed of the people complaining Grow is dead... just because the dev isnt posting something each day, doesnt mean a coin died ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I am still behind you Barry, but first maybe it is better to work on the face of GROW (distance it from the weed) and then develop it. Dear FAILers, Our community manager for China and Greece is qiwoman2 (Twitter: @goldentags). She is the second lady in our team after devvienuis (Manager for Netherlands). I already told you that we have also found manager for Italy and France, but he does not have profile in btctalk and I am waiting him to register pretty soon. About the fork.. I believe that it will be done in a week or so. Probably tomorrow we will have clear vision about final specs of the coin and our dev will continue to work. Best regards, Spartak Can we have a list of manager at the website? Or maybe in the thread? A full list.. I can't keep track if you keep posting and.. They will be listed in our new thread and probably in the website. We still need to find managers for Spain and Germany and why not for Japan... Cheers, Spartak Great! I will be looking forward for a new thread! Also.. since you talked about the website, will FailCoin have a new website? I mean.. a new sparking look? We still didn't discussed that. At the moment our main goals are the fork and the team behind the coin. After that we can start building FAIL (probably new or at least tweaked website, exchanges, merchants and such)...

Hey FAILers, Several people told me that they don't like the logo so I decided to draw another one. Like it or not - this is going to be our new logo until some big time designer decide to help us and create new one. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FmjCvAyn.png&t=663&c=I8KwGe1xcYW2wQ) Logo explained: 1. I used clasic blue color and some emboss for the first circle implying business and depth of thinking. 2. The orange bitcoin-like color in the second circle points that we are cryptocurrency. 3. The text on the upper side (@FAILCommunity) is written with strong and bold font to show the strength of our community. 4. Other thing that is supposed to show our strength as cryptocurrency is slight granite texture in the orange circle. 5. The "IL" letters are slightly lower than "FA", but I think that don't need explanation. 6. Some of you may notice that "FAIL" inscription is slightly deflected to the right direction. I did it to hint that we are going to be right-oriented (i.e. everybody should have equal possibilities). It is also supposed to show that we are thinking outside the box. 7. The "We are different" text is supposed to show that we are not only some coin. 8. The only fun part (at least that is what I aiming for) from the logo is "FAIL" inscription font. P.S. Yesterday I've had another long conversation with our developer and we had doubts on the new specs of FAIL. That is why we decided to give to ourselves 2-3 days of thinking and researching. I can only say that we have decided to implement several algos so people with SHA ASICs or GPU's will have the chance to mine FAIL as well. Although I understand that some chinese manufacturers cancelled their scrypt ASICs production I personally believe that ASICs will change the game in 1-2 years. With that said we had also doubts about the time of mining before reward drops to 2 coins. Anyway.. we are here, we are working and we will deliver so bare with us. Best of luck ot all! Regards, Spartak

Well.. it will not be necessary our new logo.. it's just a try. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) About the thread - probably yes, but we will aim to simplicity (we failed on logo though? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ). People need to understand our goals with little research. Not looking at 100s of images which most of the times are confusing.

Dear FAILers, First I want to say that I am not a designer, but decided to create new logo. Below I'll explain my visions on the logo and you can tell me if I FAILed. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FDPpNwYC.png&t=663&c=libtRuYMEQVmSA) So... 1. FAILCoin is mainly a funny coin and that is why I decided to use funny font for the name and came up with something like a slogan above. I also used something like graphs instead of the letter "I" to look like the price is dropping. I think that little man needs no explanations. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) 2. I used business-oriented font for coin inscription to hint that our intentions are not only to have fun together, but also to develop a project that will last for years ahead. The inscription "established" should also point that we are serious. Please share your opinions, no matter what are they. Best regards, Spartak Tomanov

I can't call it scam, but Bitstamp should eat the loss as some people already said. I haven't checked their exchange at the time of attack, but I think that it was partly functional (i.e. you can't trade, but you can deposit). With that said, it's their fault imho. Customers should not be obliged to check their notifications or e-mails. I can compare it with driving a car in which manufacturer founds serious malfunction, crash with it, call them and receive an answer: "We posted details about malfunction on our website.".

I can confirm that. P.S. But she didn't respond to my PM and I think I should smack her a bit! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Hello my Bro which pm did I miss? I been busy with my Son last 2 weeks so may have missed a pm or so.. Please pm me again if I missed ur message.. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I've done it. Waiting for your answer asap. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
