Hey any chance that you might consider adding spreads to the MLB games where you offer live betting? Or just spreads overall seems like only RL is offered now.
Thanks for your suggestion. We do offer spreads before the game but not very often during the game. We will look into increasing coverage in the future. Lines still have a long ways to go. Det/NYY RL right now prior to the first pitch -370/162. It's by far the worst odds of any sports book and you have the least amount of betting options. You should look at other books and the offers that they are making instead of cloning limited lines and adding lots of juice. edit- Just saw that Cin/Cle RL is -476/+245. This is before the game starts. There should be a law against this type of hold. Yikes. SF/Mets the live betting total over -666/+215 under. With the lines that you are putting out the NVL is- 273 and you have -666. Guess the theoretical hold on that line? |

DirectBet- Bitcoinlivebets was predicted to go under and a short time later, they went under. DirectBet was then predicted to be the next book to go under, rated "C-" or higher, and you started a smear campaign.
You are new to bookmaking and didn't even understand the difference between "action" and "listed" bets in MLB until recently. Your book has the most individual complaints out of any book. The down time in the last few days has to be frustrating to players.

DirectBet- You should spend more time on your book instead of making false allegations. The player complaints continue to mount and your site is down again. You should really do something about holding bets and not allowing us to cancel. There have been many complaints of you holding bets and this is the latest. Being new to bookmaking isn't an excuse for holding bets 20 minutes or more allowing you to get a better read on the game before accepting the bet. Can you explain why sometimes it takes forever to say you received the bet? It's very frustrating with live betting. Blockchain recorded my bet at 6:25, but it still hasn't been confirmed or assigned odds 7 minutes later. I was using them steadily for months with no problems (other than one time they were offline and out of touch for hours).

How long a sports book has been operating should be one factor in choosing where to bet but it should NOT be the only factor to consider! For example one of the older books might not offer a certain type of bet you like or maybe the odds are not as good at one or another. All of this and more should be considered when choosing where to bet. Each of the 3 sportsbooks in my cig have reliably paid me each every withdrawal without issue. All of which I would rate as A+ books. The books that you have listed are ranked 2,3,5 in the rating guide. Both opinions seem similar. Stop in the ratings thread when you have a chance and post your opinions. If you are going to require two listed pitchers, then both have to be listed on the bet slip. Do you plan on fixing this?

Although our rule was clearly stated and followed, we understand your concern and therefore per your suggestion we are now displaying both starting pitchers in the bet slip. In regards to one of our clients who was confused about the rule, we did end up paying him off the other day as if he had won the bet. We are not aware of any other client that was confused by this in the past. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention, please do let us know if you have any more suggestions. Are you a two man shop? One guy with common sense and the other just throws out false accusations? Here's a real life example in the LAD/LAA game. Greinke is -123/+113 over Richards. The screen goes black on the Don Best screen. Greinke is scratched. You still have ML Greinke/Richards. A player orders LAA +113 Richards, the other pitcher no longer shows up on your system. The Don Best screen starts putting up new numbers to a new pitcher for LAD.
The player jumps through hoops at DirectBet getting the bitcoin address , copy/pasting it to his wallet, sending it to DirectBet and waiting for confirmation. Finally it comes back LAA +113 Richards Accepted. The pitcher for the Dodgers isn't listed. The player may even get +116 Richards since your system allows better odds. Now the player is really in the dark.
Who does the player have on the other side. Grienke or the new pitcher? Your rules say both pitchers must be listed. How does he know which one he has since it's not on the slip? Does he take your word after it goes final?
There may not even be a line change with the new pitcher but the player still needs to know if he has a bet.

DirectBet- I'm not trying to pick on you here, but a lot of your rules are wrong unless you want to be unique. At a quick first glance of American sports, get rid of the 3 day rules with many sports. Your baseball rules are wrong if you want to go by Vegas and Offshore rules with postponed games. Why are you refusing to change listed pitcher? The pitcher can change between the time the ML is listed and the time the bet is placed. The player must know the listed pitchers on his bet slip. You can't tell him after the game goes final.
You're new to this but when you get more than 30 players in your book, players make baseball bets when they see pitching changes. They try to beat the book to the change with action bets when lines are fixed at their book. Some books do it that way. If you ever expand, a high percentage of your bets will be at this time since it reads action on one side, fixed odds with firm bets. It's critical for you to post the pitchers if both are listed. Players want to know if they have a bet before it goes final.

DirectBet, I noticed that you haven't fixed your bet slips yet. If you are going to require two listed pitchers, then both have to be listed on the bet slip. Do you plan on fixing this? The way this bet is graded, according to every other bookmaker in the world, is that Shields must start for KC and the other pitcher doesn't matter. Event : KC @ OAK

What other book offers live MLB? I noticed if you refresh the page a couple of times the BTC limit goes up.. I don't see any other BTC books up with live MLB. |

I've been playing on nitrogensports and they say they have live betting...well they do it's an exchange and I never see many available bets on there.
Can anyone recommend a good live betting BTC site? I know about directbet, I'd prefer something more normal where you can keep your balance there and bet live on a lot of sports. Thanks.
