3041  Economy / Reputation / Re: OgNasty is a lying piece of kaka on: April 15, 2021, 04:31:56 PM
It's an obvious lie.  There's plenty of evidence of BPIP's transition of ownership being amicable and smooth.  If I remember correctly I learned about it from a post made by Vod, and I got the sense that he was relieved that someone else wanted to mange it.  I can't seem to find that post at the moment, and I don't have a lot of time to dig.

Not sure which post you mean but Vod posted the link to ibminer's new BPIP thread and locked his thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4746201.msg53424059#msg53424059

Then he posted numerous times in the new thread offering advice etc.

I also recall a time when the site was down, and I feared that Vod would take it down permanently due to not being able to manage it.  I don't remember if it was something Vod said that made me think that, or me just being in a panic.

The original version of that same post above said something about not wanting to waste any more time and money on it.
3042  Economy / Reputation / Re: OgNasty is a lying piece of kaka on: April 15, 2021, 02:58:10 PM
Does OgNasty have any evidence that the site was "stolen" from Vod?

Of course not. Try asking him for proof and watch him make more shit up to out-stink the previous shit.

And as an aside, given the contentious relationship between Vod and OgNasty, why would OgNasty even give a fuck even if it were true?

I don't think he really gives a fuck, it's just an attack angle against two people he dislikes for various reasons (ibminer and myself) and a way to irritate Vod, perhaps even goading him to break his promise to leave the forum and compelling him to come back to deny the bullshit he (Og) still keeps spreading.

Vod, if you're reading this - don't Smiley. Just let Og dig his hole, the deeper the better.
3043  Other / Politics & Society / Re: #SuperStraight on: April 15, 2021, 02:21:43 PM
telling me to become a gay person

That's not really how this works. If a TV show can make you gay I'm gonna guess that you were never straight to begin with.

~

LOL, don't hold back, tell us how you really feel.

Seriously though, IIRC it was OgNasty's red trust on you that removed my last doubt as to how full of shit he is.
3045  Economy / Reputation / Re: OgNasty is a lying piece of kaka on: April 14, 2021, 05:09:07 PM
She's a woman scorned.

False.

incorrect usage of the trust network as explained in the previously posted quote.

Unsurprisingly also not true, here's the breakdown...

you repeatedly leave trust ratings for users you didn’t deal with that I personally considered untrustworthy

False, as explained here:

Not a fact, and parts of it are provably false if anyone cares to look at my sent feedback, since every positive trust rating that I sent out before you excluded me (late 2017 or early 2018 I think) was a result of a deal, so to claim that I "repeatedly [left] trust ratings for users [I] didn’t deal with that [OgNasty] personally considered untrustworthy" is incorrect, since the first part is false and the second part implies you're talking about positive ratings.

And this part is quite questionable too:

not leaving feedback for trusted members you did actually trust with your funds

Let alone that not leaving feedback is a bizarre reason for excluding someone, I don't recall any such users that I would have deprived of positive trust if positive trust was warranted. I asked you in the other thread but you didn't clarify so I'm asking again - who are those "trusted members"?

you both ran to a new thread to start more drama

Not really, just trying to avoid derailing other threads. Now when you post a lie somewhere else I can just link to this thread.

And you missed this question:

So how much are you willing to put on it being "the truth"?

3046  Economy / Reputation / Re: OgNasty is a lying piece of kaka on: April 14, 2021, 04:19:42 PM
the truth

Nope. Not the truth. You made it up. Feel free to prove it. In fact, let's make a bet, escrowed and decided by a mutually trusted reputable user. If you can prove it I'll pay, if you can't - you'll pay. So how much are you willing to put on it being "the truth"? I'm guessing zero, big man.
3047  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to change some negative trust ratings to neutral or delete them? on: April 14, 2021, 03:14:12 PM
I usually read most of the drama threads but don't recall anything about bpip's ownership being transferred to suchmoon

It might be because there was no drama. I'm sick of this shit, let's not derail this thread anymore.

New topic dedicated to OgNasty's greatest achievements on this forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5330546
3048  Economy / Reputation / OgNasty is a lying piece of kaka on: April 14, 2021, 03:11:59 PM
Trying to save this thread from derailment.

Whenever I mention the truth of why you started your hate campaign against me or how you robbed Vod of his ownership stake in BPIP as a result of his mental decline, you can't even quote the text you are in such shame over your actions.
How the F did I miss that happening?  I usually read most of the drama threads but don't recall anything about bpip's ownership being transferred to suchmoon

Just to make it clear: there was no drama about this and OgNasty is making up the "robbing" part. I can't believe I have to state this explicitly but he keeps repeating this shit. In December 2019 Vod had a hard drive issue and wanted to shut the site down. I asked ibminer if he wanted to partner with me to keep it running, he agreed, and we reached an agreement with Vod, where money/databases/code/domain changed hands. Myself and ibminer are 50:50 in control of BPIP now. Given that Vod hasn't brought up any issues about that deal should make it obvious how full of shit OgNasty is.

Not to mention that while the site gets some greatly appreciated donations, it costs a lot more to host and maintain, which I'm lucky to be able to afford thanks to ChipMixer and Foxpup, but it's utterly absurd to think that it's worth "robbing" or otherwise cheating to obtain it. It's a service to the community, not a miner that ibminer stole... oh wait, that was also OgNasty's lie. I'm sensing a pattern here.

Local rules: this thread is about OgNasty lying, and he's welcome to stop by here and lie some more. If you want to talk about someone or something else you need to do it elsewhere.

3049  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Riots after Death of Man in Minneapolis Police Custody on: April 14, 2021, 02:20:37 PM
I knew from the start it was during the prosecution's side of the case, but I don't know if it was during the direct or the cross examination because the courtroom reporter didn't say that part (well, they could've, I just don't remember reading it so correct me if I'm wrong). The point is the same.

Imagine - juror falls asleep during direct questioning of a state witness, but then they are awake for the cross examination. What's that do? That puts a bias in favor of the defense. And of course, the flip situation applies.

What is not common sense about what I said? Is it not unreasonable to ask a juror to stay awake for obvious reasons?

I don't think you can possibly control whether jurors are paying attention to one part of the trial or another even if they're not visibly asleep. It's 50:50 defense's and prosecution's fault for picking inattentive jurors and/or - I can't believe I'm agreeing with Quick7 here - not bringing the matter up with the judge. I don't get why you're so upset about this specific issue... I mean if the defense lawyer is shit and doesn't know or take advantage of details like this, that's a much bigger problem for Chauvin than just a sleeping juror.
3050  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Riots after Death of Man in Minneapolis Police Custody on: April 14, 2021, 03:54:55 AM
But for some reason, we all need to ignore this. And yes, I think the jury might as well be incompetent. Courtroom reporters are saying that some of the jurors are falling asleep during the trial. You are a moron and you are incompetent to fall asleep during the biggest trial in decades.

Oh come on now. I enjoy reading your recaps even if I disagree with some on your opinions therein, but do you really to start blaming the jurors in advance just in case they end up rendering a verdict that you may not like. They've been vetted by defense and prosecution, and they can be replaced if the judge deems necessary. Until and unless that happens they're competent.

Not to mention that it would favor the defense if they sleep through the emotional appeals that you mentioned so perhaps they should just all sleep to avoid any emotional influence... why put jurors in the courtroom at all - just have them read the transcripts and decide based on that.
3051  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to change some negative trust ratings to neutral or delete them? on: April 14, 2021, 01:16:34 AM
It isn't a narrative, it is a fact for anyone who cares about those...

As for "not leaving feedback for trusted members you did actually trust with your funds"... no idea whom you're talking about and why that is a bad thing. Not all trades must result in positive ratings but feel free to elaborate. Preferably in a different thread since this one is about changing negatives to neutrals or deleting them.
3052  Other / Meta / Re: The mods here deserve a dildo in their ass on: April 14, 2021, 12:06:26 AM
I object to the implication that a dildo up one's ass is necessarily a bad thing. Good for the mods if they happen to deserve and appreciate it.

OP on the other hand... is an exceptionally obtuse individual. Their ingenious plan to destroy facebook and dominate the world economy with private jets and naked women consists of scamming borrowing 5 EUR to buy facebook ads.
3053  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to change some negative trust ratings to neutral or delete them? on: April 13, 2021, 10:34:05 PM
revenge for excluding you early on

Nice narrative. Whatever makes it easier for you to cope. In fact, let me just admit right here that I'm the worst person on this goddamn forum, just in case that helps you be the bigger man and get rid of all the abusive red ratings you sent out over the years. Fingers crossed.
3054  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to change some negative trust ratings to neutral or delete them? on: April 13, 2021, 10:07:05 PM
This isn’t true.

I'd have doubted it a couple of years ago but after seeing the shit you pull in PMs... you would be the last person I would trust in any "he said, OgNasty said" situation.

How about this, I’ll even in good faith for the sake of this thread remove it yet again

Excellent, thank you for doing the right thing.
3055  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to change some negative trust ratings to neutral or delete them? on: April 13, 2021, 09:09:47 PM
Unfortunately, I've already had to add one back for a user who immediately began harassing me after I removed a feedback rating for them threatening to physically harm me.
So you are getting harassed by the member you removed the rating from? He is angry that you changed your mind and decided not to tag him Huh

When it comes to OgNasty, he's usually blatantly lying about such personal interactions and has a habit of sending harassing PMs to other users. What really happened here is that he came up with an excuse to move his red trust rating to the top of the list after the person whom he had red-trusted previously gained a few positive ratings from successful trades, which would indicate that there isn't high risk in trading with said person but OgNasty can't stand that with people he dislikes.
3056  Economy / Speculation / Re: I just realized I'm 99.9% crypto and 0.1% in fiat on: April 13, 2021, 02:46:49 AM
Not sure how I would calculate this properly... does the house count as fiat? Minus mortgage? But with the latest bullrun I'm probably around 40:60 fiat:crypto split, which is kinda meh since it could become 10:90 or 90:10 pretty much overnight. The more important part is whether you have the capacity to survive the volatility, which I didn't when I started and I sold way too many bitcoins between 2014-2018. Now I'm good to hodl.
3057  Economy / Securities / Re: 📈 NastyFans: The Bitcoin Enthusiast Fan Club (est. 2012) on: April 13, 2021, 02:27:32 AM
I obviously can't delete anyone's posts here, nor did I report anything as multiposting but that should be of no surprise to anyone.

Sorry, bad wording, I meant you deleted your posts, which made my posts look like I was talking to myself. Not cool but whatever. I already fixed that.

I would like to request you suchmoon along with your partner ibminer to utilize the Reputation board if you have issues with me.  This thread is to discuss a provably honest community organization, not to cast stones at it's members.

Or you could just answer as to when you decided that Bitcoin is not money and how you communicated that to your customers/investors/etc. I don't have an issue with this if it was properly disclosed at the time.

The API issue has been fixed. Thanks for reporting and sorry for the lengthy downtime.

It might also help offset their steadily declining revenues, lol.  Cheesy

I know that's most likely why they're doing it but I could never understand how exactly they're expecting it to work out. Renegotiate TV contracts? Are the advertisers actually going to pay more? For what exactly? Am I supposed to drink more beer than usual just because there is an extra NFL game?

It seems to me that it's a zero sum proposition, same money will get spread a bit thinner, there won't be hordes of new fans bringing new money, and existing fans may be more likely to skip one or two games because there will be more of those where top players are resting before playoffs etc.
3060  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [β] BPIP Extension: user info & extra features add-on/extension, Firefox/Chrome on: April 12, 2021, 03:06:50 AM
I noticed a bug in the BPIP extension today. Earned Merits and BPIP rank are blank, just like in the image below. All profiles in all posts in my computer are like that

I'm aware and trying to fix... looks like some unrelated updates broke the API because I failed to merge the code many months ago.
