3041  Economy / Economics / Re: First Bitcoin ATM in Venezuela on: October 12, 2019, 06:04:16 AM
After the economy in the Venezuelan state was destroyed their government began to look to plunge into the world of Cryptocurrency to turn things around, Venezuela hopes that Bitcoin will be able to boost the economy that has fallen back, so that the new ATMs launched there are a form of support from their government.
To an extent, Bitcoin would have actually help them to do some damaging control to their economy if they had fully implemented it also, but it seems that they are still not fully into it as I have already seen where they have a proposal to create their own cryptocurrency which is to be called petro coin, and I really don't think that this coin will get so much support as some countries like US is already saying some negative stiff about it.

Though to an extent, it is not actually of any business of USA to discredit a project that they feel will help their country, but instead of creating their own coin, I would rather have preferred that they work with a currency that is not being controlled. If they come up with their own currency now, I am sure that we will still have some people that will still hijacked it and still be able to manipulate it.
3042  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 29 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: October 12, 2019, 05:30:18 AM
Here is the winners list for the 28th raffle:
Oh shucks, I didn't get anything from the raffle. Well better luck next time, I am pretty sure I made more free wagered money from primedice (not just giveaways and bonuses, competitions, promotions etc as well) than I gambled in like 10 other casinos, there are only few casinos I gambled more in wagered number than I gambled with free money I got on primedice.

At one point primedice was literally doing challenges every single week where we get to try our luck and back then I made so much free money that I gambled around 0.1 total just from those (lost all like a true gambler of course Cheesy) All in all I would say raffle would have been expected by me, I have been that much lucky with primedice so not being there is a total shock Cheesy.

Congratz to all winners and good luck Smiley.
3043  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: October 12, 2019, 04:54:48 AM
Yeah, american streak is something I just can't join anytime soon, I just don't understand those games at all Cheesy. I really love NBA and that is great but all other games are too foreign to me, I never watched any nfl or nhl games that I could say I knew what is going on. Leaving that aside it is still amazing to get freebets no matter how much or how many times, it could be couple cents for a few times and I would still be super glad, it could be few hundred and many times that requires you to gamble, I would still be super happy because if it doesn't work at worst I have nothing, if it works I have something, there is no downside to it at all.

I will be focusing on upcoming premier league games and other league games, they would probably make me feel better since I understand them a bit.
3044  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict Bit coin price. on: October 12, 2019, 04:16:07 AM
Any body here now how to predict bitcoin price. Or is there a hint how when to buy and when to sell bit coins. Or how to make profits on buying and selling bitcoins.? I want to try buying and selling crypto currency.
We all know that no one can predict the bitcoin price if you are the one holder bitcoin you must have patience to wait the right time you can sell your bitcoin. And wait again the right to buy a bitcoin if the price goes down. So no one here can predicted it sir.
We have many people that has predicted the price of bitcoin in the past, and recently too, there is this guy on this forum that I ever regret not listening to because I am one of these people that believes you should never listen to people’s opinion, and because of that I totally ignored him when the price of bitcoin was just climbing above $13k, he actually predicted that the market will fall back to $10k, and really, the price was perfectly accurate and around the time he speculated it.

This could not have been a coincidence, the price was perfectly predicted, but what I agree with is that few are these people that know how to actually predict bitcoin, and many people that do predict are just predicting out of instinct and not with fact or analysis.
3045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Get into the $8600 Zone? on: October 12, 2019, 03:33:08 AM
I have noticed something about bitcoin, at the point that bitcoin is being celebrated is when the price dumps, but at the point where bitcoin is being frowned upon is when bitcoin starts to decline in value which I think this has been the nature of bitcoin even since inception, it was at the point that people were forgetting about bitcoin that it started rising so high till it reached the last all time high that we are still waiting for to be achieved right now, and I believe that in future with time, the value of bitcoin will increase almost 2x of the last all time high.

It is now that many people were even predicting that they are seeing bitcoin fall to $7000 that it started making a whole lot of recovery and this is indeed a very good news. People will be encouraged again to stay lively.
3046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters needs to start respecting themselves on: October 11, 2019, 06:20:06 PM
Bounty hunters please start claiming your worth, do not go around promoting bounty projects that has too low allocation, i was surfing around on this forum today and i saw new bounty projects that have allocation worth of 1000dollars and they even have separate campaigns, why are people promoting such projects? you are the ones responsible for how developers are treating bounty hunters, there is nothing wrong if you decide not to work for penny... Even some airdrops on this forum has 8$ worth of allocation, just imagine that
It is really madness from some of these developers, it shows that they don't respect us and they lack respect for our work also, why would someone actually allocate such amount for a job that will take thousands of people weeks to complete, do they really think that it is very easy to do, I think that you are kind of right, it needs to get to that stage where we have to just start ignoring some of these projects and stop being desperate, they use us for a work of millions and then pay penny.

I see those projects as being greedy and some of them are the types that usually end up being a scam project. The allocation must at least be moderate, they should not allocate too much and they should not allocate too low, because most high allocations too that I have seen are the worst, they end up not even paying a dime.
3047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Still Believe in 2.0 on: October 11, 2019, 04:07:04 PM
It is their project, so what do you expect if they don’t believe in their own project, then who will?
I am patiently waiting for the Ethereum 2.0 also, let me see what the effect  the upgrade will do and I think upgrading the platform is not the only thing that needs to be looked into, because when it comes to chain system, we have lots of alternatives now and I think that the major thing that is giving Ethereum a bad name and why their project died is because of very awful projects that are coming through them, which is what I think needs to be taken care of first and has to do with their policy.

IEO is dominating now, because investors can rely on someone protecting them and helping them filter bad projects from the good ones, and this, Ethereum does not do.
3048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Sure Are You That You Invested In A Right New Coin? on: October 11, 2019, 03:05:11 PM
I made a big mistake last time and that's why I ensure that the coins that I bought will go up. I've spent a lot of time and effort in trading that's why it makes me a better trader where I can now make good decisions.
There is no coin that really has much guarantee on them, except bitcoin and the first 10 coins that this coinmarketcap listed, both trading and investment.  There are lots of altcoins that started well at the beginning, but has given up along the line, so a coin may be performing well for the first 6 months and maybe extend to one year, but once it gets to a stage where they are having more of people dumping their coin than using it, they tend to fold up easily.

So, no matter the assurance that you think you have for a coin, their lifespan usually does not extend more than just 1 year, the only project that I have seen that have lasted for long and which I know will last more are still those coins that are top  coins sitting on an exchange or CMC.
3049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: October 11, 2019, 01:50:12 PM
I used to bet on politics back in those days until I lost in a bet typically because of electoral malpractices. My country is one of the worst country that elect leaders based on their wealth or sometimes bases on their influence. Having such a worst political platform will not encouraged gamblers to get involved in the game of betting. There  is no way you will be able to predict my country political elites when it come to politics.
I won’t be asking too much if I ask for the name of your country right? Because it sounds likes one of the African countries I know that are known for the highest rate of corruption. All countries are corrupt but some countries are extremely corrupt and they make life really difficult for their citizens. You can imagine the fear of gambling because of the fear of manipulation.

I don’t gamble on politics because it doesn't occur regularly, and I am not even into politics, definitely going to play on politics gambling is like a deliberate act to go and throw away money. I have only tried gambling on politics once and I didn’t regret losing the money because I knew I would loose of course. The game is for those who are current with political happenings.
3050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: October 10, 2019, 05:05:08 PM
Clippers is not as good as people make them out to be, they still have a glaring problem under the basket and any team that have a good center could feast on Clippers. Think about Sixers and embiid+simmons playing with their size inside, they could destroy Harrel and whoever they decide to play on PF position. Kawhi can't play PF for too long, I am pretty sure PG+Kawhi will be SG-SF instead of SF-PF so there will need to be some people who Guard other teams PF as well and if its tall than its a problem, if Lakers come up with lets say Howard+Davis at bigs, who could guard them?

Clippers is an amazing team and they are definitely one of the biggest contenders of the season but lets not act like they are as good as Warriors few years ago when they basically swept the whole playoffs.
3051  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: October 10, 2019, 03:56:44 PM
An interesting question, of course, but it is definitely impossible to answer it, since no one can predict what the market will be in the future. But according to Coinmarketcap statistics, it is clear that Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP are leading
If cryptocurrency gets the chances of surviving, I think that bitcoin will be the main coin that will surely dominate the market and dominate all currencies because right now, it seems like it is the one that is the major coin that people have really relied on, when it comes to fiat system, bitcoin technology supersede them, and when it comes to cryptocurrencies, bitcoin is still their king.

Since Ethereum has been establish, they even came with the intention of sending bitcoin away from the market, but now, people would rather prefer to make all their transactions through bitcoin than to make any through Ethereum. If we are looking for an alternative to bitcoin in future, I think that is when we can think of making use of Ethereum s the alternative because we don’t have a choice.
3052  Economy / Economics / Re: The re-accumulation period is in on: October 10, 2019, 12:05:59 PM

Some people never stop buying, I have met a person who literally has a automatic purchase of bitcoin every month on his credit card, he uses a website that withdraws 100 bucks from his credit card every month to buy bitcoin automatically. As long as people like that exists we are going to be fine in the long run.
Those kind of investors who are investing for the future success of this industry, there's no good entry position as they are believing that the market will grow eventually. Long term target to maximize the potential profits. Some might think that it's a risky move but to those who completely trust this venue of investment they will proceed and trust. after all, it is the future that will dictates the outcome, accumulating will be on the investors complete understanding to this investment.
I am not against a believer of bitcoin having a plan to at least hold certain percentage of his money in bitcoin wallet every month, but programming it down is what I don’t really buy into. I feel that the investment should be handled manually, as in, you watch the market first to see the best time to manually purchase it which really does not take time.

If we program it down now, and then bitcoin suddenly rose at the time the card was programmed to purchase, would the card not go and  buy at a peak period which will eventually backfire for him and defeat the objective of its long term investment, and even as a long term investor, there should be a time that one must break the investment to later continue, as in when bitcoin reaches its new all time, high, it would be unwise not to withdraw it and keep purchasing.
3053  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: October 10, 2019, 08:18:59 AM
GP, I have a serious question. Why do you think people are obliged to come here and prove to you that they have invested into eosbet?
Where did I say that EOSBet victims are obligated to post here?

IF there are victims, the profile of EOSBEt will really look something like this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=874254
It ain't happening because we got paid by the platform for holding our Bet. You wanna hold BET, buy some and when you don't get the pay, you can complain yourself.
Eosbet doesn't "pay you for holding your bet" , thats literally the system, its a decentralized blockchain system where if you have bet token you get eos in return, its automatic, nobody really pays you, nobody clicks send button to give you money, its all automatic. ANYONE can go buy some bet token from binance right now, put it on their eosbet account and start getting paid constantly, its all automatic and even the team doesn't have any power over that.

The owners and developers can't just say "don't pay this guy" or something, no matter who you are, no matter how much money you have, you will be getting paid. Even GP who has been against eosbet for literally market reasons (he will find some other reason when bet token goes up in price) can buy bet token and make money with it, the team won't be able to do anything about it.
3054  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 29 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: October 10, 2019, 07:29:50 AM
Don't you think Primedice should increase the prize pool?
The first winner has won 0.036 BTC with wagering 143 bitcoins and 1.43 expected loss. So I don't think 0.036 BTC is valuable amount. Also, the second winner has wagered 24.5 BTC and won only 0.019 BTC. If the prize pool is increased, I am sure more gamblers will be attracted.
They are not forcing anyone to bet 143 bitcoins to become the winner tho, they are giving away a certain amount of money and that is all up to you to decide how much you want to bet, if you want to bet 143 bitcoins you can, if you want to bet 1 btc you can, if you want to bet 0.1 btc then you can.

The rankings are not in the control of primedice, they do not decide who will wager how much, of course it is great for them if people wager a lot but there is no requirement to wager that much to get the prize, people just bet way more than needed because they can and because they want to. So, what could primedice do about it? Tell people to not gamble that much and make them profits? There is no way a casino should do that, it would be suicidal, they are here to make money.
3055  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The price you will buy and sell btc? on: October 09, 2019, 05:41:35 PM
Definitely it might go down below $7k and that's the signal to buy and hodl it until it reaches more the the ATH, and there is a high possibility that the price could rise before the end of this year.

The price of bitcoin today is a really good deal and can give us a lot of profit if we bought now but we could wait and if it will go low more.
I have heard this prediction of $7k several times, and bitcoin has really not gone below $8k, the last time bitcoin went down to $8k before bouncing back to $10k, many people still predicted that $7k will be visible, but till now, many people are still hanging and not able to invest which is how they will finally miss out of the train.

In bitcoin investment, it is very dangerous to delay an investment when the price has already fallen, because what is expected to happen at any given time after fall of price is recovery, and recovery may happen at any time, so instead of any one that is interested to wait for that $7k, I think they can still make some investment now that it is on the lane of $8k, our target is still like $40 within the next 2 years which I think it is a very good profit for someone that will but at $8k.
3056  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Exchange on: October 09, 2019, 04:25:10 PM
Hello everybody I am Martin Gaptil . Hope you are well. But I am face some problem right now with my current Exchanger. It's ]transaction speed is so low.  So,do you know any which has a much faster speed? Please, give me the link....
What's the name of the exchange you're using? You should have mentioned the name so that it would be easy, at least we would check to see if there's anything you're doing wrong or if it's just the way it is. Maybe you should make use of the top exchanges if that's not what you're using. For a starter (since you're still a newbie) I would recommend Coinbase, that's the easiest exchange you can use and understand. It carries lots of features and some that you won't find on others. The only thing is the fees. A lot of people who make use of Coinbase always complain about the fees, and that's the main reason most of them switch to other exchanges.

Transactions are fast with Coinbase and there is a recurring purchase that you can set if you don't want to stress yourself with login in at all times to buy coins. The recurring purchase feature automatically buys the coins you want at the time you set it. But like I have said, you're only going to have problems with fees.
3057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Manipulation of cryptocurrency exchanges. on: October 09, 2019, 08:40:01 AM
Nothing new as this happened all the time. Fake volume, fake price, bots and so on, manipulation at its fullest potential.Did you actually believe that exchanges are having that amount of volume per 24 hours ? Think again mate, nothing is what it seems and nothing will change anytime soon as the party won't stop. Be glad that pump and dumps don't happen like they did before or at least it happens in low ranked coins which is the good part.
I know that I have heard of a lot of exchanges manipulating the cryptocurrency market, but I have not really paid attention to them as I don’t think that I am using an exchange that is doing such a thing, the exchange that I am presently using which is binance has very high users that is using their platform on a daily basis, and I really don’t think there should be any reason why they should manipulate prices gain.

They might have done it in the past, maybe when they were first released in order to get some attractions, but now that they have lots of real users, they would not be crazy enough to still continue to engage in this shady activities and I think most of their volume can be very reliable, which is why I believe the data that I see on binance exchange even more than coinmarketcap data.
3058  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: October 09, 2019, 05:26:55 AM
So, in short term, betting on small odds is better. Because it causes you to play for a longer time (especially when you have not a big bankroll)
In long term, there is no difference. (Those gamblers who play for long term usually have big bankrolls and can afford to lose even more than 20 times in a row)

you said short term ?  short terms means you play for a short period of time so your supposed to bet on higher odds so that you can win or loss quickly but betting in smaller odds is indeed good for smaller bankrolls  so that you can minimize your chance of loosing but itll make you also play longer  . loosing 20 times in a row can be acceptable or not depending on your bets  .  i can play longer but i dont have a big bankroll , its only a matter of bankroll management .
Short term and long term is not the amount if you ask me, its the time and the wagered amount. Just to give an example if you gamble with 1k satoshi for a whole day on all automatic you will still get at most 1-2 btc (or maybe more I don't really know the speed) but if you gamble 100 satoshi for 1 month you will gamble a lot more. Which is why I personally think its the wagered time instead of wagered amount.

You can gamble 10 btc all at once and win or lose the same amount, that is just once and you won't find out the average loss expectancy that way, however if you bet 1 million times with 100 satoshi over a month period then you will get to the 1% house edge average for sure. You won't also lose much and still have a high wagered amount that would help you out.
3059  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: October 08, 2019, 07:17:42 PM
We all liked the american streak and having it is definitely better than just waiting, it is at least something that gives a promotion and we can have fun trying to guess. However this break is killing me, no premier league, NBA hasn't started and no Euroleague so far neither, champions league is a no show for a while too.

I think I am going to get rid of my gambling addiction from not playing so long until games come back Cheesy. All kidding aside I love that we have american streak while no other thing goes on but I can't wait until the real stuff starts once again so we can bet. Premier league looked so dashing and unpredictable and I was just hoping it would go back to regular expected stuff once again and we could make some money with expected outcomes before it all went to break.
3060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: October 08, 2019, 06:18:55 PM
Recover all previous losses? Add some profit? I don't think it is that easy. There are many gamblers that lost in gambling and winning once just can't recover your losses. If that is just how it works a lot of gamblers would just gamble all over again not worrying about the losses they can get.
Indeed it is not easy, but at least it will replace the defeat that always accepts defeat, and defeat will be a lesson in playing gambling to be more careful and will be motivated to win and nothing is impossible, because the more you continue to play it will definitely get a chance victory to get a big win and that's where you will be tested whether you will continue to play and eventually lose it all or you stop when you win big.
It’s really when I see people talk about how difficult it is to let go of a loss and I can’t but wonder why. The truth is that what is gone is already gone and nothing can be done to bring it back. Maybe just me, but I never think about a loss once it is gone because I know that would not bring it back anyways.

I am grateful for the kind of mind I have in gambling, especially the heart of not remembering loses because if I was the type of gambler that remembers loses, and I would probably be heartbroken, shattered and discouraged by now since what I have made as profit so far is not enough to even recover the loss. In my opinion, with or without profit been made, losses should not be remembered and of course I would forget all my loses when I hit a jackpot definitely lol.
