2521  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: July 07, 2020, 08:48:49 PM
You say that the wagered amounts have actually been close to 9 BTC and given this the hype of contests is on the lookout but perhaps they're waiting to see how high it can actually go without having to pay any of it back Huh I'm not saying this is exactly what this sounds like, only postulating the different scenarios.
Basing of those numbers if they would just really have some competitions out here then those numbers wont really be just like that.Imagine that they have no currently any contest
or competition but still the leaderboard is showing off some good amount of wager for a week which does signify that this site is doing pretty well. for now they have just decide
not to make one and we dont know whats the reason why.
It doesn't have to be a competition that gives % of it back, they never really do that in any other casino neither, they usually just do fixed amounts and looking at how much there is in the current version where no money exchange hands, I would say it would still be profitable for them. I couldn't possibly know why they are not doing it, you have to ask the team to answer that and that means they might say the truth or they might lie, we couldn't know that neither.

So at the end of the day, I would say the best thing to do right now is actually wait for them to make it a reality or just hope for nothing at all.
2522  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: July 07, 2020, 05:46:24 PM
Btw, why Stake team has no interest to cooperate with live dealer providers for better user experience?
I guess they want to maintain their list of games being provably fair.  It's easy for them to get a third party provider and get more games but it's better if they slowly release their own games as they'll be known for the uniqueness of their games instead of having several games that could be seen on tons of casinos.

Exactly and I do not think that Stake has intentions to provide live dealer games. Even if they want to do so in the future, I guess they will provide it themselves without 3rd party providers. Having original games created by themselves is better than providing tons of games from 3rd party providers.
Even if one day they decide to do live dealers for some reason (probably earning more money) they would probably do it themselves and not a provider. It is not really that hard to have few managers, few dealers and some tables in a place and pay them to make more money, however it is one of the costliest ways to start a game and you can never really make it provably fair as well which is a big hit to stake's mindset. They are known to be obsessed about provably fair, they even had like this organization or something for provably fair casinos in crypto world.

So, I do not think they will even consider it (and there is really not much reason to it) and even if by some magical luck that they do end up working on it, it will be purely stake workers and stake responsibility and not some third party provider.

Certainly, I can't rely on free stuff to makes profits though it is still possible to do, It need extra effort to achieve the minimum requirement for withdrawal.
As you said before, need to make some deposit to generate decent profits from gambling.

However, I only use free stuff for some fun and trying their games.
People are like that, they want free stuff and they are willing to actually work harder for stuff they think sounds a bit legal but also against the rules thing. If you told them they could spend the same time learning about how to make scripts that would help peoples jobs easier, they would say no and mostly that is because people in the world with talent are mostly underpaid and underappreciated so they do not want to become like that in another job.

But if you tell people there is a place that gives 100 satoshi free and you can withdraw 10k if you can win, they will try to hit that 10 hours a day without a problem, why? Because they know place doesn't want that but can't stop it unless removed totally as well, but nobody really overworks them, it is their own decision, so people like it.

So after aboout 6 weeks of investing, i pulled out with about being where i started.
Seems to me most of the palyers there actually play with tokens, so the balance doesn't move all that much on a daily basis, which is dissapointing.
Oh well

You need to look at daily wagers and losses (or wins) and spread them out long term. I have been a rather long term investor at many sites and in general Bitcoin seems to move slowly but over long term it keeps growing. Litecoin and Doge is where you can see bigger movements,,, although at BV this also swings less over the last few months.

Anyway the new PM about investments means things do change. Good for us.
In my opinion that 6 weeks is short period of time, or it is long period of time, it is neither. It is a middle level where 6 weeks means either you are going to profit like regular without much change, sure a bit of profit but nothing huge, or you are going to lose money if in that specific 6 weeks some whale got lucky, some other 6 weeks you may not have that but on this particular one you might, or there could be some huge loss from a whale and you profit a lot more than you expected or projected.

As you can see 6 weeks is not just too short or too long, its just that variance plays a bigger role in 6 weeks, it all depends on what happens in the casino.

Yes, in 2 weeks you can profit 10x more than you did, why? Because it could be a lot higher investment and there could be a whale loss, or maybe after a whole year you take a look at lost, why? Because some whale came in and won hundreds.
2525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Someone should start a class action lawsuit against Paypal on: July 06, 2020, 08:49:29 PM
I don't think you have any legal ground or even any ground to complain.
It's their rules and TOS what they allow on the platform and what they don't allow. They can change it at any time.
But they must have a reason and prior notice before they implement any changes.

I was reading this article after I got to know the news - https://cointelegraph.com/news/paypal-dabbling-in-crypto-could-make-btc-a-mainstream-payment-option

I am actually happy that such a giant payment system is now thinking of accepting and allowing the purchase of bitcoins directly and even working with some exchanges to provide liquidity to the market.

No matter how someone feels, I am really happy with the news and having such giants accept bitcoins will only do good for bitcoins and our crypto ecosystem.
2526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make a trade or investment decision? on: July 06, 2020, 08:05:59 PM
Keep in touch with bitcoin and crypto news, short list the coins that are popular in market and there company working on the new development of product. Once you short listed coins do a market survey and check which coin is at their lowest price, the coin with lowest price has more potential to increase in future and reach their maximum price but only when the team behind coin is dedicated.
That's right actually because a coin that is trading at 1000 satoshi would usually go up by 100 satoshi and that would mean 10% profit while a coin that is listed at 50 satoshi and if only increases by 100 satoshi would be mean you gain 300% profits which is massive for any investor. Moreover there is a higher chance that a small value coin will rise quicker rather than a high value coin to rise further.

I personally never invest for long term in these alt coins because they do have a adoption curve and you need to understand what is the best time to buy the coin and then once the adoption curve is towards its sunset just sell and make profits so I am someone who doesn't believe in investing as much as I do in investing.
2527  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is bullish longterm on: July 05, 2020, 08:47:57 PM
bitcoin looks more promising on a short term because the price can easily dragged down the moment price touches at certain point like for example when it reaches 10k usd  for example but you and other people think that btc price can improve more in the long run which was also right i guess if we compare past value from now . btc is an evolution of a currency because currency started physical before but now we have btc which was digital.  nothing wrong in saving btc because it was like saving money but other think its bad and they didnt encourage it
There is a reason why people don't suggest blocking/saving money and that is money at work is the smart money while money sitting idle will become the victim of inflation but if you are able to make the profit that is higher than that of the inflation rate then there is a good chance that you can make better profits.

Personally I am not a fan of saving bitcoins rather just trade them and increase them because holding bitcoins does not require any energy or manual task so why not use time and make better profits and yeah let the price rise but if even it does not, you at least earned some by trading around back and forth.
2528  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying the dips: do you have a specific criteria? on: July 05, 2020, 06:28:37 PM
Risk takers have more chances to win compared to doubtful people.
Maybe that is why there are so many gamblers who regret betting because they took too much risk  Grin (so I disagree with you ins simple words if you don't understand the statement).

Taking risk is good but knowing your limits is important, I mean yeah you must take risk to get rich but that is how gamblers think traders would always make favorable trades which not always mean taking risks.

A businessman could hardly be a teacher, crypto investors will also be hardly a teacher as well
But, a teacher would make sustainable profits while a businessman will make profits and also suffer losses to maybe such an extent that they have to quit their life at the end, I am sorry but I have seen a lot of cases.

Depends how how much risk and risk appetite you have because if only taking risks was making people rich then the casinos would have shut down and the gamblers would be richest people. Knowing what is profitable is not always related to how much risk you are taking.
2529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automating Trades? on: July 03, 2020, 04:05:28 PM
Bots are something that is there to help you achieve what you want to achieve by using what you want to use, not to make you money without any work put into it at all. If you think that you can buy a bot that will work for you and just make you money with one click, that doesn't exist, the ones that tell you that they will do that are liars and do not exist at all.

However, if you want to buy a bot that will allow you to do what you want it to do and you can put some indicators in it and etc etc, it will not really be a problem and you will be able to do that. Which is why I think there is some merit to bots, you can use them however you want, basically make the bot YOU and just let it work while you sleep, but know that you will be dealing with all of that and configure it.
2530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes late bounties can still pay rewards on: July 01, 2020, 08:05:14 PM
the project you promote 2years back can still come up and give you awesome reward, delays takes place sometimes that makes project team keep postponing listing on exchanges,  imagine promoting a project in 2018 paid you big reward in 2020 after you've already zero your mind that it's over? I want bounty hunters in the house to verify this, true or false??

Anyways, do not underestimate projects you promote a year or two years ago, they can still pay up and secondly do not leave or exit their telegram channel no matter how many years it's been, if you do you might be denied of your rewards
Okay you are not wrong for saying that, but first you have to know that any project that is legit will show that from the beginning so that you don’t mistaken them with scam projects, and keep on waiting for a project that’s never going to pay you ‘till thy kingdom come’ lol Grin.

So, just like I said, if a project is legit, they will be doing things from the beginning that will show you that they are legit and even when there are problems that are delaying things, you will at least get to know why there are delays. Try to learn how you can differentiate legit projects from scam, so that you don’t end up waiting on a projects that’s never going to pay.
2531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of repetitive projects and old ideas on: July 01, 2020, 07:36:11 PM
The amount of people who do not understand the premise of this topic is really scary. Plenty of people came in here saying "there are some good projects who are bringing new things" and that scares me about those new projects. Just because there are new projects doesn't mean that there are zero repetitive projects and that is the topic here. It is not about the new projects who do something new, it is about the new ones who are doing the old things all over again.

There are tons of projects who are doing the same thing and just copy pasting the whole coin by just changing the name and that's it. THIS is what we are against, THIS is what people are talking about here. The coins that has new stuff in it is not the discussion and nobody talks about it and not complaining about it here.
2532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Crytopcurrency on: July 01, 2020, 06:59:35 PM
Not must accept but maybe crypto will be one of the major payment methods in the next 10 years. Fiat will still be dominant as not all people are tech savvy or interested in new technology. But of course, crypto has future as more and more companies are integrating blockchain technology within their operations.
Fiat is always going to be the biggest currency and means of transactions but crypto has slowly evolved because of the two main features actually:

- Speed because we can make transactions immediately without having to use any platform, for example to send Paypal you are dependent on Paypal so speed and decentralization his what has got crypto the popularity.

- Assured Payments is another benefit because with paypal and other payment providers there is always an element of reversing the transaction

But that said, there is one massive problem that is holding back crypto to absolutely dominate the market and that is, the volatility of the crypto market. No matter how much we praise crypto but they are just assets and when we use assets as currency then there is always the problem of volatility which some appreciate while most consider it as a huge negative.
2533  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ Crypto.Games ⭐ 0.8% House Edge on Dice ⭐ Largest wagering contest...ever ⭐ on: July 01, 2020, 06:01:31 PM
It would be nice if they reopened investments.
Investment thing was something they probably did just because they needed it for a while but at the same time they did probably earned a lot of money meanwhile as well, not like they opened investments for free and never gained anything from it, they did made their own profits as well.

So, they probably gained enough profit and they just didn't needed anyone else's money anymore.

It doesn't make sense for a casino to give you investment chance if they could offer it themselves, if I owned my own casino I would want to have my bankroll and not someone else, it doesn't really make sense to offer it to others if I could take 100% of the profits. Crypto.games probably has enough money after all these years that they do not need others money to offer something.
2534  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Contests 🏆 TvT 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: July 01, 2020, 04:49:12 PM
^Affiliate networking has always been a profitable thing and if you are big enough you could potentially ask for more stuff, for example if you are inviting 500+ people to any casino you go to, you could potentially get a lot of money for it from windice if you request it, of course they will ask for a proof but if you are big enough you are known as well. That is why I suggested gambler should become like a union and have some sort of big group in order ask more from casinos as well and have just a leader of that union who will get a big ref that he could share back with the gamblers, that way we wouldn't even pay for the union to exist and costs of it neither, the affiliate income would help too and meanwhile gamblers would make that back and even more by getting more free stuff from casinos to go play on their website.
2535  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: register to this website? on: July 01, 2020, 11:52:06 AM
i would like to ask about this coin Bitcoin Vault . it has a high return of profit. is it a scam or not.
i cant find any pools to mine only two pools and its not available to use only if you register to this website[fun88
They seem to be safe, though I am not hundred percent sure about that since I don’t invest in it and I don’t look into coins I don’t invest in. But, I saw a lot of articles that references or talks about them, and they are on Coindesk, Yahoo and some other websites.

And from what I understand, the cryptocurrency was created to address the issues that the crypto community is having with Bitcoin (maybe not all issues). And it’s said that the Bitcoin Vault (also referred to as BTCV) offers extra layers of security as it features three private keys of security. It looks good, but this is the first time I’m seeing this coin, and it has even been on Coinbase and I didn’t know?  It’s still up to you.
2536  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: June 30, 2020, 07:35:31 PM
I don’t know what did I miss but there’s not even a single shred of evidence posted here that proves that Stake has scammed anyone, and further I too agree with you’ll that Stake is a legit site and it will never scam it’s user’s. Also @darewaller whenever I have encountered any problem with Stake their support staff have quickly provided a fix for it, and as far as their sports book is concerned I feel that they’re doing decent promotions to attract the gamblers to wager out there.
I wasn't talking about the issues when it is individual, you are definitely not going to have too much of that and they will certainly fix anything that you have encountered for sure as well. I was talking about general problems with the sportsbook side, like famous live betting issues that they have for over a month now that hasn't been fixed, which is not really a big deal for me since I don't gamble on live games but people do that and they had that problem.

Promotions could "sound" nice to you but I gamble on some other places as well and promotions for sportsbook is not even close to other places, there are places giving out 1 bitcoin to winners and such. Like I said, stake is an amazing and unbelievable website, it is probably the best casino out there in the whole world (digitally, not just crypto but generally) but that doesn't mean their sportsbook needs some help.
2537  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: June 30, 2020, 06:26:16 PM
It is certainly true that bitcoin was affected by this corona virus, how could it not be? I mean the whole world and every single human has been affected, maybe not the ones who are doing scientific research on Antarctica was not affected by this but I am pretty sure even though they were safe from the virus itself, the impact of it has impacted them as well indirectly.

By this logic all humans on earth have been affected by corona virus, even if not the virus itself at least the causes of it. Which is why it is normal that crypto trading has been affected by corona virus and all the economical problems it has caused. I hope that people will move over and now that we are doing better financially (at least in price) we will continue this surge and go higher to a whole new level easier from now on out.
2538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FOMO In Crypto; How to identify It on: June 30, 2020, 05:35:26 PM
1. The first symptoms of FOMO is when you see so many people buying the coin and you start thinking all of them cannot be wrong. You also jump inside without doing any proper analysis
But on a positive side, I usually have a feeling that when everyone is buying something that their is some solid reason and it is not the worst idea to go with the public with investment and trading actually.

I liked your points overall but actually FOMO can be good in certain cases, I still remember when ethereum came into existence a lot of guys suggested that ETH would be the next big thing and I was one of the guys who actually used to invest money in various projects and I actually thought ETH is a bubble and fake marketing is being done to create FOMO .. now I regret if only I trusted the FOMO.
2539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to earn at arbitrage on: June 29, 2020, 08:28:25 PM
Not just arbitrage trading but a lot of guys do arbitrage betting as well where they would choose different winners on different sportsbook and make use of the odds discrepancy among odds provider but this is not easy to do in crypto trading actually because you would hardly find a pair of coin which you can play with and if even you find the variance would be hardly 2-5% which would be needed for withdrawal fees and depositing fees of those involved exchanges so either you have a massive amount of bitcoins to do this or you will face problems doing it.

Talking of arbitrage gambling a lot of sportsbook clearly mention that they won't support arbitrage betting and accounts would be locked once they get to know about such practices by their users. If you want to learn more you might want to read this - https://www.sportsbettingdime.com/guides/strategy/avoiding-sportsbook-restrictions-arbitrage-betting.
2540  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: June 29, 2020, 05:55:56 PM

If something did go wrong as you suggested... it would not have benefited them in any way to stop coming here, because people tend to turn to the platform where there are the most users to complain about problems with services and sites.

We have seen several threads where people lash out against casinos in the past, when they feel cheated. Stake.com can also not hide from this forums scam accusation section, if they do anything wrong.  Wink  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Stake does not need to do any wrong as they are an established site. New sites look for cheap things to get money but the trusted sites never spoil their reputation.
Stake will reach to that high level sportsbook one day. Do not worry about it today because let's be honest they are still brand new and they have all the other things they have to worry about so they couldn't put 100% into sportsbook. The difference between stake and other places is that other places do not have all of this at once, stake does.

It means they are not going to be able to invest all their efforts into just sportsbook. Sure they have troubles now but that doesn't mean they are not aware of it, they are quite aware of it and will work towards fixing it. Specially the live game bugs, they are horrible and hurts them as well, don't you think they will try to fix something that causes them to lose money as well? Obviously they will want to fix it so they can make more profits as well.
