3041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SCAMMERS NEVER GET TIRED on: November 09, 2021, 11:19:04 PM
Therefore, before you invest anything in a project, you must always check it carefully. If the dev team is anonymous this increases the risk tremendously. It is best to invest only in projects where we can check the developers achievements and experience.
Don't trust a project that has an anonymous team. Before it's good to have this type of background just as satoshi nakamoto. But this time, the scammers are hiding on anonymity to scam people and that's no good for everyone. That's why for new projects, it's highly important that you get to know who are the developers of the project you're about to invest because if not, you have to make sure that you're good and fine with that project and you do it on your will.
Projects without a public team are a scam in 99% of cases.Because there are no obligations to anyone.I don't understand how people give their funds to such projects, and since now hype on meme coins without a public team, it's all going on, the world is going crazy)
They are likely a scam and that's why many newbies fall to those projects for having no background. Too bad that they get to be introduced to the market by someone who has shilled a random token and they get to believe them. It's noting that these experiences has to be stopped by someone who just came in because it will make them think that the market is like that and there's no hope just because they've fallen to a wrong project and they've been misguided.
Pointless i could say whenever you do try to warn people about avoiding such project/coin because you've seen those red flags but still they do pursue out to invest and believe that this could really be a gold mine for them until things turns out to be real and they've been scammed on which people do normally learn whenever they do experience these kind of unforunate events.

Does it really need for it to happen first before you do learn? Its not really that necessary because you could eventually able to avoid that when you are
sensible towards your actions.

Dont let yourself fall into those FOMO and suggestions came from other people because this is most likely where mistakes do happen.
Make decision on your own so that you wouldnt really be ending up on regretting.
3042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What if Covid 19 broke the 4 year market cycle? on: November 09, 2021, 10:51:32 PM
There's a chance. In the past cycles, we didn't have the U.S. federal reserve printing US dollars like total madmen, and we didn't have companies, countries, and cities looking into adding bitcoin to their balance sheets. But yea, I probably don't want to say "this time it's different", but I personally think that if we actually enter a bear market sometime in the next months, I think it wouldn't be as painful like we had in the past.
Probabilities would be always there thats why we shouldnt really be that confident that it wont really happen about on experiencing the same pain on what we had experienced back into those years but presuming on tha level of adoption and recognition then we can confidently say that crash couldnt really
happen on that fast pace scenario.

Support and recognition level is on different scale which simply implies that it wont really go down easily. In regards with Covid on breaking that 4 year market cycle then i dont really mind much on attaching out these sentiments.

3044  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: November 09, 2021, 07:46:14 PM
stay away from there .
you can deposit all crypto  , but when you wanne withdraw it will be offline  .
everybody knows when deposit works withdraw also works  .
they scam us even more by holding the prices very low like dogecoin and ethereum classic .
check for youself .
they sell your crypto when pumps come and dont let you withdraw untill prices are low again  .
the internet is full with complaints  .
stay away there and spread the word .

These are just few of the hundreds of complaints on Hitbtc or in this platform.

https://www.cointelligence.com/exchanges_list/hitbtc/

Dont know on why people do consider out on touching this platform despite of those complaints.
3045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to store your keys? on: November 09, 2021, 06:41:56 PM
2000 BTC is roughly equivalent to around 134 million bucks which is why I would prefer the best option available even if meant spending a million bucks to successfully store the remaining 133 million bucks.

If nuclear sheltered vaults are the best option, I would obviously store all my BTC though I would research them thoroughly beforehand.
Definitely do the same yet you know that it is really just right to do so on protecting that 133 Million then you wouldnt really mind about the price.

Just like on what you had said that it is really just normal on verifying everything before proceeding because we are talking big amounts on here.

Doesnt matter if its a Hardwallet, nuclear sheltered or even as simple as USB flash drive as long you could keep your keys then that what all matters.
3046  Economy / Gambling / Re: If your games aren't provably fair, stop claiming they are. on: November 08, 2021, 11:32:28 PM
Only problem here is that not all players have the technical skills or are technical enough to know which casinos are genuine with their claims and which aren't.
I know, that's why threads like this one are important. There are also other resources on the world wide web that will teach you how to check whether a game really is provably fair or it isn't.
There are really people which couldnt really appreciate on what others been doing which is totally helpful on spreading out some awareness specially with fairness issue on some unknown or not so popular gambling sites which do claims on being fair.

They do have the ample or right time to spend on investigating or verifying things which we should be grateful at least on where
these information could save your ass up.  Cheesy
3047  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Coingecko] Webpage not displaying prices correctly on: November 08, 2021, 10:30:07 PM
This site here https://coinish.net/ shows the correct price for VES just change it from USD to VES in the drop-down

That does not resolve the issue of coingecko as most of the people prefer coingecko to check the prices. You cannot change sites just to see the correct price of a particular currency. Sometimes their values are not correct when you calculate them in your local currency. Perhaps they do not update the fiat currency values in real time.

Exactly, the problem is that Coingecko (big webpage many people uses) is providing wrong information

There seems to be only BTC/USD pair doing properly and a few major coins.

I've been struggling with Coingecko for a while. I have a serious will to use them, rather than CMC but it becomes increasingly difficult to bear.
I will not comment on the slowness itself, but they also seem to have a problem with smaller altcoins & exchanges. very often it differs significantly from the actual situation (On CMC is correct, so I don't think it's a problem with exchange API's).

Also, they had very low criteria, practically any service, exchange, the token will be listed there. no matter how bad or even labelled as a scam.
One of the things i do notice  too that you could search up every coin that do exist on the market and if you are trying to find out a certain coin on CMC which you cant found then it could definitely be found on Coingecko.

I had been prefering Coingecko for some features on which CMC doesnt have specially on those conversions and recently i have noticed this
differences too which turns out to be a bit hassle.

Even the pricing on their mobile app price monitor is not really that accurate thats why i do need to double check anytime.
3048  Economy / Economics / Re: 6 billion to solve world hunger? on: November 08, 2021, 09:32:12 PM
That's only a small amount to solve the world hunger, however, the intention to help is big and if It's true then I would certainly admire Elon for doing that. At least he can help a huge number of hungry people in the world and that's his way to sharing back to the world from the fruits of his labor.

so the question of whether it will solve? it will definitely not but he can be a model and other billionaires might follow.
To eradicate the damage to the world, this nominal is indeed very small, but at least this can help those who really need and are hungry because there are still many people who are still very difficult to even eat.
I really appreciate what Elon is doing and I hope other Influenc and other billionaires do the same.
Instead of getting some appreciation on what Elon had done but instead he do get out some criticism or negative feedbacks about such matter on 6 billion wouldnt be enough? Yes it is  but at least he do show off some care.

Dont know if this is some publicity or something like that but its really good that he had made out some considerations on making this donation even though not enough but at least lots would really be benefiting out.

I do also appreciate on what Elon had done.
3049  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 500xBit.com - Easily Bet On Bitcoin - 500 ❌ 250 ❌ 100 ❌ 50 ❌ Insane Leverage! on: November 08, 2021, 08:25:35 PM
Only a few could really able to say that theyre closing for good or simply  tell their users that  they would be closing their doors and its true story that
most of them would definitely had that common behavior on which they do really have that pending issues which do really ends up for users to wait up fr  long  time.

Maintenance duration shouldnt really last long and it would be understandable if the  trouble would really be a serious one or justt
minor which is really hard to believe on that it is really taking long time  to be fixed.
It's still quite confusing whether they really want to go slowly or do they always delay maintenance because in general maintenance will not last long and will recover because they have technicians like that so 500xbit is still quite surprising and full of question marks.
I know 500xbit doesn't leave a bad crowd on this forum but this should need more clarity on what the real problem is, and everyone knows that 500xbit may have some people wanting sites online again, but when is that?
We couldnt really make any conclusions yet they havent still responding on what people been qualming on here but basing up with our own common sense

then we could really tell that they arent doing good because once people had been done on this one then it would leave out bad impressions and the worst
there would be some accusations.

If they would still intent to last long and have good impressions on this market then they should at least be mindful on doing
the rightful thing.
3050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any SHIB (Shiba Inu) casinos out there? on: November 08, 2021, 07:30:22 PM
Hi!

Does anyone here know about any Shiba Inu casinos and/or sports betting sites?
This  is just recent where Chips.gg accepts SHIB.
https://mobile.twitter.com/ShibalnuNews/status/1457086607434076162

BC.game was already been mentioned though.I dont see quite numbers of online casinos accepting this memecoin but
its currently on the hype now then i wont be surprised if there would be more in near future.
3051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start somewhere on: November 06, 2021, 03:43:23 PM
Starting point is a big challenge when it comes to Investment. There are people who find it difficult to start up an investment because what they have is not large. Start your investment with the little you have it will go a long way.

Expectations to have something big to start maybe delayed. Do you know what point you would have reached if you had started with the little which you afford?
Not just because you do see other people do make out big profits doesnt mean that it is really simple for someone to engage or jump in which this is a very common problem for most noobs who do end up that kind of impression towards trading or investing on crypto space.

Some people could start up directly with big capital and most people do have less.It wont matter on how big or small it is because what matter most on here is on how to sustain yourself and ending up on surviving this very unpredictable market.

This is something that someone cant really able to have good grasp in a short time.It will require countless trial and error before you could
able to  realize on how this market works.
3052  Economy / Securities / Re: What is your opinions on flashloans? on: November 06, 2021, 02:43:31 PM
About flashloans?
There is some old thread on this forum which do make out some discussions on this one.,

Picturing out on how flashloan works.

Really hard to believe on having some loans without collateral but of course there would be always a catch behind.

It's been a while that you're gone, may I ask when will the maintenance will be finished and what could be the possible reason of the maintenance? are you preparing for the official opening of your site? I really do like playing on your website and that 500x leverage which you can't find anywhere on the market.
This long is not a Maintenance issue i believe , because for my years in gambling online , maintenance took only at least yours or days but this? almost a Month and yet no update? there is a deeper issue inside the site or maybe they are facing bigger issues than things can be done by maintenance .
anyway with their "INSANE LEVERAGE" promises? is this a kind of luring strategy and since there are no reaction from the players here , they realized that it is a waste of time continuing this business?

Yes that could be one of the reasons, but there might be other reasons for example classic reasons maintenance for almost a month and slowly disappearing
This isn't the first time I've seen a site like this close a business for no reason if there is a problem they can say it here so users don't have to wait.
Only a few could really able to say that theyre closing for good or simply  tell their users that  they would be closing their doors and its true story that
most of them would definitely had that common behavior on which they do really have that pending issues which do really ends up for users to wait up fr  long  time.

3054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Key words (short sentence) to explain BTC on: November 05, 2021, 11:26:08 PM
Reading on whitepaper would sum it all.

A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online
payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a
financial institution

A very short sentence but would answer it all.
3055  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does gate.io ban any country ? on: November 05, 2021, 10:41:09 PM
gate.io is a good exchange as it list most of the newly listed coins which are low caps. It's easy to buy them from exchange rather than the uniswap (for tokens build on ethereum) or pancakeswap (for tokens build on binance smart chain).

I want to know if they accept users from all countries or do they have any ban country list. I want to specially know if Pakistan is in the allowed list ?
They had included USA on the list on prohibited but they do allow it with limited services?

USA/Canadian/Japanese users are supported on gate.io now.

But your use of gate.io services are limited.

You may not be able to access services such as lending, margin trading , perpetual contract trading and the trade of some coins.

Source:https://support.gate.io/hc/en-us/articles/360006549414-Are-USA-Canadian-Japanese-users-Supported-on-gate-io-

They shouldve remove it on the list.
3056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Country restriction and use of vpn or tor on: November 05, 2021, 09:42:09 PM
Every gambling site have got its own terms of service.
~snip~
^ That is a perfect answer, each gambling casino has different TOS content it means they have different rules and agreements between the users. If you are not in hurry, it should be perfect if you will spend your time first reading the TOS before picking up a good gambling site. Because I never heard a gambling site that their user it allow using VPN and TOR. Before it is too late to blame yourself, start reading if there is a gambling site that is like that, of course, can avoid the possible problem. I understand people that want to protect their privacy but it does not mean it is okay to use VPN, probably the best thing is to follow what is the TOS. Nevertheless, OP welcome to the gambling community.
Most gamblers does have the impression that everything is really just the same in terms of those conditions and rules on most sites which i cant really deny

on because they do only differ most of the time in country restriction and some few tweaks of personal prohibition and the rest were just the same thats why people are not really minding much on reading it over.

Tor or  Vpn is something that is prohibited on some sites and its normal that you would be following it.
3057  Economy / Economics / Re: How is financial stability defined for you? on: November 05, 2021, 08:35:00 PM
I think when we have financial stability, we often spend more miscellaneous, sometimes it doesn't have much specific purpose, it just seems to be a temporary lust because at this point, we are already so knowledgeable about our own finances, the petty expenses will no longer be so important when our financial resources are fully compensated and still stable. In theory and such visualization may make us feel that this path is simple but finance is one of the areas of risk, for example, investments and businesses always consume a lot of capital but sometimes there is no response
I have to say in a middle class type of situation it all depends on one thing to go wrong. The past 2 months have been one of the biggest earning months of my life and it was also one of the highest spending one at the same time. So that means if you have a great life that you are sure that you could save aside if everything goes right, it could go wrong all of a sudden, one sickness, one technical item broken and so forth and suddenly you spend it.

My PC is basically "broken" it is kept safe with horrible stuff basically and it may never work very soon (or just replace some stuff and hope to start again), that means I still have a lot of things to pay let alone the ones I already paid for because of some hospital stuff. When you look at the income I have, it is a high level for the nation I am in, it is really good, but at the same time it is not enough. Stability is not something that is guaranteed, if you have something unexpected, it keeps getting drained.
Unexpected situations do really happen in our lives but doesnt mean that we couldnt really able to handle that if we arent that financially stabled because this do simply means that you do know on how to allocated up your funds on particular conditions.

When you do have this kind of mindset then those unexpected spendings or expenses will really be just covered up because you had already prepared for that and thats the beauty on having this kind of mindset on where you should be prepared on everything.

Not only talking with expenses but also on how to you earn income. You would be finding lots of various sources as much as you can.
You wouldnt really stick out on a single source.

3059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling increase due to the pandemic, stats, UK on: November 04, 2021, 11:28:05 PM
Agreed, and the majority of people are making the transition online because staying at home and only doing chores is extremely boring. Casinos are popping up everywhere on the internet right now, and people are becoming addicted to them because it is so simple to bet and the payment methods are also simple; all we need is an internet connection to place a wager. I believe that recreational activities are for people who only want to spend their extra money on it, whereas others are earning from it and using it to supplement their income. However, for the time being, people are getting into it because they are simply bored.

Those casinos have always been there. The difference is, people weren't seeing them because they weren't at home staring at their computers. Now it is different. Maybe there are more casinos now than what there were 2 years ago but don't forget that those new casinos will likely to go broke because they won't find many players. Those well established casinos will always take the king-size bite from the pie.
When the market gets saturated then expect that online casinos would really get less revenue because users or gamblers would really be divided but to think off on how big the population is then you could realyl say that there would be still that demand.

This pandemic did really bring out some pro's and con's on several businesses because people are now having more time on screen or
into their computer which is understandable on what industries would really take out advantage.
While it is true we are reaching a saturation point at the same time the big casinos have nothing to worry about as they are getting most of the new players anyways, the ones that have to worry are the new casinos and the casinos that have not properly established themselves in the minds of their customers and that can lose their clients relatively quickly, now while this may sound bad at the same time it is something natural in any industry since this will only leave the best casinos around, which most of the time are the ones that have the best games and odds anyway which is why people are choosing to play there anyway.
As a new business then your toughest challenge is to get new players that would stay up on your platform considering that it is just common sense for

them to consider out those big competitors out there which would really make things even more harder because people would using up their awareness

or common sense to stick up with known ones which simply means that would be less considered or would be tried up which means
it all matters with promotion and interest for sure.
3060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't lose your profit unnecessarily on: November 04, 2021, 10:27:43 PM
I prefer the best way of getting profit is investing some of your money in these coins which you are holding for long term like XRP, as I said this is an example of the coin, and some of you should invest in the new coins then you can get some profit in my opinion. Getting the profit in these coins may give you an outstanding support.

Well, despite the fact that XRP is a currency that has had a great rebound lately, it is possible that it can continue to generate more profits as BTC goes up in price, if now, I have 2 friends, 1 lost everything in XRP and another who gained a lot with XRP Of course currently the story is different despite having a lawsuit made by the SEC.

At the moment there are many people entering the NFT market, but through decentralized exchanges, and precisely today a friend for not seeing a contract well was the victim of a scam, there money was lost unnecessarily for not knowing well what contract it was, this it is another way to be careful not to lose money.

Getting scammed due to carelessness or havent done any research is really always the outcome which we should really be that sensible on taking some actions basing on whats happening  around.

We are currently on some trend which is NFT and the hype was all around and thats why whenever you do make out some profits
then its better to secure it immediately.

Dont wait up for some u-turn in  the market which you would really be regretting on missing out those amounts.
