Hey Steve! I guess I was one of the lucky ones, thank you for the surprise freebets. In a time when Bitcoin isn't doing too well but of course better than most other cryptos I guess, big things like these make such a cheerful time for us Wink I will do my best to turn it into something worthwhile for withdrawal Wink

morvillz7z I never bet on Norwegian football but we must all pay respects to them for reviving the setpiece movement that EPL also then took. Too bad Ole couldn't bring that to his team though lol

In that spirit my freebets will go to picking them in my next multis Wink

For those who are posting in Gambling discussion please try to skip the Mega Threads what already passed 50-100 even 1000 pages. And also try to give priority on Only Gambling board instead of Gambling Discussion Smiley Smiley Thanks For your nice job btw.

Thanks boss as always, but I would like to add here that not all threads that are 50-100 pages should be considered low quality or mega threads... some threads are much more moderated than others, and are only long because either they are old or they have very active, very useful discussions.

I would like to point out that some new threads are even just spam threads that you can see very low quality posts coming in:
- no constructive comment
- no real knowledge of the gambling/sport being discussed
- recycling old ideas and bringing no new insight

I know we should try and give priority to certain things but I hope also that we are allowed to discuss and contribute to the topics we know best and are an actual part of the communities... otherwise we encourage people to post in casino threads that they aren't even members of.

This is just my thoughts, just to say I most likely won't just post in threads I'm not even playing at, and am even only discussing in threads where actual gamblers and experts discuss. Sometimes I post in new threads and I get useless replies and frankly spam comments, it makes me a bit annoyed Smiley

Great job everyone and to you too sujonali. Keep the name strong!
3043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON 2023 qualifiers. on: June 20, 2022, 10:36:55 AM
Nigeria isn't the strongest county in Africa continent neither are the weakest. When it comes to AFCON competition, Egypt are the strongest after winning it a record number of seven and even won it for three years straight (if I'm not mistaking). For world cup competition, Senegal has gone the farest more than any other African nation. The highest Nigeria has gone is the round of sixteen which they usually end up getting knockout by Argentina.

In the knockout qualifiers Nigeria wasn't the strongest opponent, Ghana has a number against Nigeria. In all their head to head meetings, Ghana has the highest number of win as they always found a win to win Nigeria so their win wasn't a surprised as well.

I thought Algeria was the strongest along with Egypt? I know that they were the top 2 favorites in the last Afcon tournament, even though Senegal won it, and also qualified for World Cup at the expense of Egypt, but they were only 3rd or 4th favorite.

Algeria really really disappointed a lot of people (including me) so I do remember them being top, and had some magnificent players in Europe as Riyad Mahrez comes to mind.
3044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 20, 2022, 08:48:54 AM
Bayern Munich are not holding back after landing Gravernberch, Mazraoui and Mané. Julian Nagelsmann is one tough manager which English teams are scared of because he crushed any teams that stands on his way in the Champions league. If you observe the Bundesliga giant, they only go for tough and good player which their team needs, not just some random player. Nagelsmann next target is Laimar from Leipzig which I don't thing Bayern could have him. Julian Nagelsmann never gives up on a Chase because he managed one best team in the world and some vital players wished they played for his team.

Did they confirm all of those signings already then? I thought they were all just chasing and need to still agree final club/player dealings. They were one of the favorites already for Champions League trophy (no need to discuss Bundesliga when even Dortmund already sell their biggest star) but with these stars and raw talents I think they will easily go to the finals.

I wouldn't say they automatically go for tough players though, look at Coutinho Wink
3045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 20, 2022, 08:13:39 AM
Technically Mauricio Pochettino still the current manager of PSG but indeed after failed on champion league most people has speculate he will be sacked and the hottest news as the replacement of him is Zidane but seems he has refuse the offers from PSG owner because Zidane had ambition want to replace Deschamps and to trains France national team and regarding the name you mentioned above rumours is Christophe Galtier will be the next manager of PSG because the owner has impressed he can get France league trophy with Lille but indeed for France league he had good records but to get champion league trophy i highly doubt he can do it with PSG

That kind of team does not matter which manager you have, their entire squad is a big circus with each star player having their own delegation of family/wives/kids. Not at all something people like Tuchel or Pochettino could easily handle. Half their time at least is to manage these egos and stars, look what it turned Gini Wijnaldum into, a hot dribbler penetrative powerful guy turned into a clown. Even Messi, he needs to get back home and not stay stuck in that crazy league with one team too good for everyone else.
3046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 20, 2022, 06:02:48 AM
I still don't get why it's a problem for most people, it's not like we are the ones playing football there, and most of the teams are on their off season anyway (except Europe but that's their problem lol).
There are a lot of people who like to gamble during the season, european one, where it's from late august to early June or even may basically, and that is a lot better for them because it's all the big clubs and teams play. And that is a very good thing because you see PSG, city, Liverpool, bayern, juventus, milan, chelsea, real, Barcelona etc etc etc all these huge names all play during the same weeks.

This means you can make 10 different bets, all on the same day, all for teams that have 300-400 or more million dollar worth clubs. You can't have that during summer, sure you can still gamble and find some games, but they won't be as big as the European ones.

Ok, I get that, I gamble the most on club football but Pulsar's talking about the World Cup being played at the "winter" instead of the summer. You'll still get all the big names you just mentioned playing in Summer as the club football in Europe leagues are all going on, so I still don't get the argument lol, in fact, if it's betting that's the problem, then having a World Cup later on is better for gambling. Summer betting on clubs, winter extravaganza that normally people anyway bet on African Nations.

I would say even a good chance of getting to $5000 if you want to take some small risks (like semi martingale).

For me, betting 100usd is quite money, however I like everything you say, it is seen that you have enough experience, and I think it is the most successful, in the event that those 100usd the player can take them to $ 5 K is quite achievement, at least I am seeing that playing in BJ is not difficult, but you have to have many steel nerves and be quite reckless to be able to meet the goal, in my case as I am a person who does not have much experience with The BJ but that I gsut a lot, I would say that I would not bet the 100usd, I think it would divide it into 10 equal parts to have at least 10 days playing how much I can achieve.

[/quote]

You kind of missed the point of windfury and my conversations. We're talking about the $100 from the signature campaign, which you get paid weekly to your Blackjack.fun account in BTC.

So yes, it's still money and earnings, but it's always something I consider as an added bonus on top of doing what I like to do (talk about gambling and Bitcoin on this forum). In that sense, it's money that's a reward for carrying the casino's signature. I feel like that's additional money I can also use to gamble.

$100 to $5000 is only 50x wager. At less than 0.3% house edge, you can still end up with even 85% of your starting bankroll if you play very conservatively, with $1 bets as the fixed wager.
3048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the end for NFTs? on: June 19, 2022, 01:34:17 PM
Not everyone is trying to shill to blow up a project though. Just like ICO days and right now, there are going to be SO many people becoming bagholders with a lot of life savings just tied up and down 80% or more.

So they're going to try and project an image of confidence to get even more people to buy to protect the slide.

People will be people, all looking for quick gains and it's so tempting now in this bear market.
There are maybe not that many but at least Shillers will keep shilling just to Boost their projects or their Holding coins in which for me ? a not so good attitude , because you can only post good or best words for the project you deeply understand and Know , not just because you are holding it or at least bought those coins in presale.

I was just saying that not all shillers want to make their project big, as I said it's just to show others that they're not afraid like the rest of the market.

Like the LUNA problem. People weren't shilling because they wanted Luna to grow, they knew it was going to die. But they wanted people to think they were going to hold forever, and so new people would buy it more, and then they could exit at a higher price.

Trust me, anyone posting good or best words are 100% shilling. Real users, like Bitcoin and Ethereum, they actually can be critical of themselves. I criticize Bitcoin like all the time.
3049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 19, 2022, 01:01:45 PM
It is going to be really awkward for me to have this World Cup in a month like November. Because we have always been accustomed to watching this beautiful tournament in summers. But maybe I'm very prejudiced about this and it will still be a lot of fun. However this will change the order of everything also. Because there is going to be a huge break for the domestic leagues then. This can cause the fixtures to be even tighter after the World Cup ends. Or maybe the season would end very late compared to normal.

Where are you from? We in Asia have no seasons so it really doesn't matter much if it's end or middle of the year, both times are when our own leagues don't play anyway.

I still don't get why it's a problem for most people, it's not like we are the ones playing football there, and most of the teams are on their off season anyway (except Europe but that's their problem lol).
3050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The digital ID for Gambling on: June 19, 2022, 11:20:14 AM
^

These days, even teenagers know how to use a VPN, so the introduction of digital IDs for gambling just makes no sense. They can easily register at a gambling site that does not require these innovations and play there. So I think that a waste of budget money or this initiative has deeper motives aimed at the interests of the state and the protection of children is only a reason to push this initiative among the public.

Prevention is better. For sure I knew how to use VPNs but we are talking now also about sites that aren't crypto but don't do KYC right? And if these sites try to lure kids, they still have to use their debit/credit card to deposit, and if you instal digital IDs that need verification when paying by debit card at gambling sites, the block is there.

It's not just about VPNs or access it's the requirement on cards and payments to allow these IDs first to even be able to pay.
3051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: June 18, 2022, 08:12:45 AM
...
Perhaps industry casinos are just getting better at detecting abuse that makes it look like there's more?

Fiat Casinos yes but crypto casino, without KYC or other procedures to identify a user of a service in a CERTAIN manner it is practically impossible to prevent someone not "fraud" the online bonus system.
Unfortunately, there will always be someone who will try to cheat such a system, however negligible as a number.

Ok, but I still don't get what your point is. Prevention is one thing, being better at preventing is another, the question really is who is to blame, and I don't think there is anyone to blame but the culprit. And why look for blame?

My only offer to explain the increased fraud detection is simply that with better detection and better reporting, of course instances seem higher.

There's really nothing to be confused about the question but you cannot blame the merchant or the casino for these scenarios. Clearly, the casino did the promotion or the bonus for new users to attract more users to the platform. However, there will always be an abuser for these kinds of promotions or bonuses. Also, these kinds of abusers can also be seen not only in the gambling industry but in any industry instead.

A lot of people are exposing loopholes to various platforms and doing illicit activities to their advantage and to earn money. This is pretty much common which is why platforms have policies for the bonuses they are implementing such as doing some bets or that you have certain points to be able to receive these bonuses.

Er, yeah that's exactly what I said, which is why it's a confusing question.

Why the need to ask the question when there IS NO question of who to blame?

Anyway, think I'll end my responses here before they go on the pointless path it already looks like it's going down lol
3052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The digital ID for Gambling on: June 17, 2022, 10:21:25 AM
I think it's better, overall. Pros and cons like all discussed but there are a LOT of predatory online casinos that specifically target kids. I used to see in past years ads on all my mobile aps, all showing young kids gambling at slots and casinos and supposedly winning 100k.

Those ads are gone now I think good riddance but the thing is kids are exposed to a lot of shit these days and if an ID will help prevent that, good.

I mean, if you care about privacy you're gambling crypto anyway.

I'm confused by the question, really. Clearly, the one to be blamed for abuse of any kind is... the abuser?

If you see a rise in financial fraud, is it also the fault of the finance industry that gets bigger? If you see a rise in shop theft, is it that shops are also to blame?

I understand for sure that sometimes there are external conditions like a bad economy and joblessness that can lead to overall hike in crime, or even longer term society things like lack of access to education and poverty. But then that affects everything else.

Perhaps industry casinos are just getting better at detecting abuse that makes it look like there's more?
3055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High odds or low odds, which do you prefer? on: June 17, 2022, 06:52:37 AM
Would be good to see the study, but favorites and underdogs can be determined by 1.8 and 2.2 odds, as well as 1.1 and 12.0 odds.

As I mentioned, I don't really understand this, my assumption (not a real study), there must be an analysis, so sorry if maybe my assumption is wrong. In the previous response, it was said that there is an equal average between losing and winning both when betting on the favorite team and the underdog. I'm also curious about that. Of course, I want to read about that study as mentioned by @Boristhecat.

Thank you for the information about the bookies, although I have known gambling for a long time, but not interested about them.

No problem, yeah I was also curious about the study. The numbers always make sense for fixed house edge games like at casinos (although every now and then someone tries to argue that a certain dice or blackjack game or roulette gives worse results at high payouts etc) after you stretch out gambling sample to smooth out variance.

Sports is a different matter, much harder to look at gambler wagering samples, in a lifetime a sports betting for me maybe hits thousands of bets, while dice I probably played half a billion bets lol.

So variance is more apparent in sports I would think.
3056  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: June 17, 2022, 06:11:12 AM
Never really had any English team I supported but I definitely did have clubs I disliked and that's Chelsea, City, United (because they spent to win). Barca of course, my own club, started to try that route to copy Real our own superstar spender club in La Liga, and ourselves became spenders so I found a way to hate my own club while supporting it.

I've never had a brand that I loved sponsor a football club I love, usually for the ones I know it is the other way around.

People who supported Barca knew about Unicef, people who supported United knew about Chevrolet, and I bet you people who support Southampton, Watford before that, Arsenal, Sao Paolo. I don't think Barca got more supporters from Unicef or United from Chevrolet but I bet you those brands got more customers from those clubs.

That's how I always see it work anyway.

But as you say, all this helps crypto in the long term, and I'm proud to be using a crypto sports gaming book that goes above and beyond the rest.
You can have the team you support at all times, go ahead and support Barcelona. But when you see that sportsbet.io logo on Southampton jersey, doesn't that make you feel better about Southampton, I mean compared to how you felt about Southampton before the sponsorship? Just to give an example, I never cared about Southampton before, never even considered them, never thought about them, didn't care at all, wouldn't know if they were in premier league or championship most years.

But, since sportsbet.io sponsored them, I started to watch their highlights at least, or watch a full game here and there because of the sponsorship. Otherwise nobody says you should go to all of their games or anything, it just makes you feel more connected.

For sure I feel nicer about Flamengo and now Sao Paolo, yes, but it doesn't make me a supporter Smiley I'm really happy to see the effect on you and I know a LOT of other players here also shared how they wear the jersey and keep them as souvenirs.

For sure I understand that part. Imagine showing your kids or grandkids a Bitcoin on a jersey or maybe in 2122 people will have Watford jersey in hall of fame for being the first EPL to use Bitcoin, which would be the universal currency of that time Wink

But maybe for me I love the Sportsbet sportsbook brand but it matters less who they sponsor at least in football because I already have a club.

I also knew about Southampton and Arsenal (you must know if you follow football even if you don't watch EPL) and for sure I support them "more" in the results on the forum but it doesn't make me want to watch them more or fall in love with their players more.

Good football is what makes me do that, so last seasons I even fell in love with Atalanta, and Brentford at some points lol and Liverpool, which I actually used to dislike. Good football and good coaches are what make me change how I feel about the clubs, not so much their sponsors.

Now if Sportsbet started sponsoring some non-football that MIGHT make me watch a new sport Wink
3057  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: June 16, 2022, 01:01:18 PM
How much capital do you need and how large should be the bets? Will $100, the signature campaign payment, be enough to play for the day, or will the house edge slowly take all my $100 away in one day? Hahaha.

I can't control my emotions very well sometimes when I'm "gambling", that's why I stopped active trading, and just HODL.

Well it depends on what you want to achieve in terms of target wager, and how soon you want. There's no autobet at this site on the games I play so it does need a slightly bigger amount or a big time investment although winning the cashbacks on contests really helps with the house edge as I said.

$100 is way enough to play for a day, if your aim is to gain wagering amount with the possibility of losing it all to get $2500 wager is really easy (always blackjack on low house edge). 2500 hands and all the cashback should see 0.1 BTC in a day no problems. House edge at under 0.3% means you lose 3 out of 1000 hands. Theoretically you can bet $1 22,000 times and lose initial $60 to get the 1 BTC VIP.

I would say even a good chance of getting to $5000 if you want to take some small risks (like semi martingale).
