3061  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Manipulation in Binance Futures Trading on: July 26, 2021, 02:42:02 PM
Somehow that's the safest assumption. That's not nice from their side if the spike hit some liquidations to others and seems they haven't found any system issues then should have executed some other sell orders. Many leveraged traders aren't really into Binance most of them choose either Bybit or Phemex this time around.
3062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ethics of boxing and gambling on: July 26, 2021, 02:02:29 PM
Contact sports are dangerous sports so more with boxing, they're totally risking their lives over it. I don't know much about the ethicality of the sport and maybe they make it legally because it's been backed by these huge names behind the industry. I'm not saying it's ethically solely but on the legal side I guess it depends professionally.
3063  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop losses on: July 26, 2021, 09:16:05 AM
Just curious, do any of you set stop losses and recollect again later? Or do you just HODL regardless of what the dip is.
Traders do have plan as always for stop losses but there are individuals who still got mistakes over not setting stop-loss but ain't most of the time, most traders have stop losses in them. For HODLERs they tend to do the DCA method since they are into the long term and they doesn't care enough for short term price actions.
3064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: July 26, 2021, 04:15:48 AM
Yes it's the first time they loses since 2004 in the olympic competition, to continue they need to win against the Czech Republic or Iran because only the 2 first teams of each group, and the 2 best third teams of all groups are selected for the quarter-finals.
I confess that, I was surprised with the US defeat, despite not having their best players, the US has a good team, maybe even better than France, (if we look at the team roster)

But I still believe the US has potential to win in 1st place.

Still confident the USA will make it to the semis. Well, loving the statement by Evan Fournier that they may be tough or something but with team effort from them they make to win against the former Olympic gold medalist. We're not seeing a high caliber USA team this time around looks like USA hasn't consider a good contender team.
3065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weekly/monthly financial statements, which do you prefer? on: July 25, 2021, 10:46:21 PM
I'd prefer it should have financial statements rather than nothing besides if there's something you could see you'd have an idea the next time on what you could do or why this has been the outcome. I think gambling sites has features already highlighting this financial statements or gambling history. Even just gambling history you can do math by yourself, put it on spreadsheet or something then compute it.
3066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 24, 2021, 02:37:23 PM
What kind you say about Giannis post game interview, he somewhat throw some on KD and Lebron winning rings with other super stars (super teams).

So would you rather have Giannis 1 ring against KD 2 with the GSW or Lebron's 2 with Miami?

It's a whole lot of debate that I have been hearing around social media now.
Not that impossible they got the momentum now. For sure they'll restore the present roster they got by now but these other teams will surely create another one that may challenge them. Well, social media is somewhat overhyped and it's the way it used to be but it's a bold statement from the Greek Freak to be honest.

Just a heads up, we will be hearing superteam news on social media in the coming months until we get onto the next season, another interesting things to follow. Never gets old.
3067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: July 24, 2021, 12:12:11 PM
I have seen Nigeria beating the US but it's an exhibition match and it's non bearing I still see the US team the team to beat here and most likely to win the gold medal, they are going to blend their talent when the events start, the best contenders are Spain and Australia to me and Nigeria is the dark horse, this is going to be exciting to watch looking forward to seeing these matches.
Well, they got some backup now with the NBA Finalists Booker, Holiday, and Middleton, of course the game will be lot different now in the actual match to say the least. I'm not so sure about the gold here because it's somehow impossible at this stage considering how many good lineups now for each country especially for Australia, France, Slovenia, and of course Spain who always appear as front-runner for team USA. I'm expecting USA will still be at top 4 here even though there odds was somewhat decreased, in my own opinion.
3068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If it is more convenient for people to buy Bitcoin, will Bitcoin be more popular on: July 24, 2021, 09:38:25 AM
bitcoin will reach new ath is coming  Grin Grin Grin Grin it would be more great if accept not just bitcoin but also another crypto or stablecoin since bitcoin in my opinion can't be using for everyday transaction since fee getting high and time confirmation getting slow so other crypto would be great and i hope it will atm come to indonesia
Not that being too optimistic but we will get there and these days of price action will just be a blip on the charts for years to come. HODL as they say! Bitcoin isn't yet for day to day usage yet but we will be scalable in the future, fingers crossed.

How can an ATM machine allow "face-to-face transactions"?
What about KYC policies?I don't think that the authorities would allow people to purchase Bitcoin thru ATM machines without ID verification.
The Bitcoin price would've been way higher,if Bitcoin purchases were easy and convenient. There's no doubt about that. The problem is that Bitcoin purchases will never be easy, cheap and convenient.
That depends on the Bitcoin ATM company but most of these Bitcoin ATMs are either you need to sign up with them or you're using your credit or debit card, anonymity isn't secured here to be honest. Well, it will really never be easy if people are skeptical about their privacy in the first place. I think we are getting there on the convenience side because of the LN but on the cheapness and easeness that will depend on different occasions.
3069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling attracted to emotion or luck on: July 24, 2021, 07:49:40 AM
When playing gambling their emotions attached to it, before you make a bet on the game you already feel excited at this start you already gathering positive vibes because you want to win the game, when the game starts you are still hoping to win the game because you think it could be, this is the last emotions you will face with because could be win or lose the game if you win this emotion burst up more because of too much joy, but if you lose still becomes disappointment or just nothing because still, you become optimistic. Still depends on the mental stability of the gambler.
Well, we can't deny the fact but everytime we need to gamble orwe may just try we feel some excitement on ourselves that we are in luck and that's natural.

These are challenges of the self and it depends on every individuals but most tend to not have self control over things especially if emotions are on the line. It requires experience for others to be able to withstand these emotions maybe a bad luck that cost you expensively and the next time you'd be more careful on every bet you take, it all depends most of the time.
3070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin vs binance Coin on: July 24, 2021, 04:19:23 AM
In terms of development since that's where do investors tend to be attracted then for sure Litecoin would be eating the dust on what BNB is doing. Binance isn't just focusing on one thing or two but they are disrupting almost on all sides of the cryptoverse. You name it - DeFi, NFT, exchange, own chain, and much more. I'm not saying Litecoin is left out but people really are into those who do works and Litecoin GitHub seems not that updated, pull requests and issues not properly managed.

I'd say they'd be left behind with this L2, L3 kind of coins that are into more the disruption of more scalable state and has more use cases, just my two cents.
3071  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 24, 2021, 02:02:05 AM
The Only strategy we can use Playing Slot machines? is to have being responsible gamblers and have self control and also Knows when to quit.
The exit strategy is different and you only need to set your fixed limits which you can't exceed while gambling but if you talk about slot games then most probably you don't apply ample of strategies there and just wish you win on that bet.But for sure every gambler must have self control because it could be too risky if you have gone beyond your loss suffering limits so must take care of that thing.
^ There is nothing strategy in all based on luck games such as playing slot games and others like dice and etc. In the first place, gamblers should know this from the start to have self-control at all times. These kinds of games are not mean of chasing money, it is pure entertainment while hoping that you will hit the jackpot. That is an advantage when you are beating the house edge, there could be a chance that you hit the higher multiplier even in just a minute. Nevertheless, Rollbit has trading that you will surely enjoy that is not based on luck game, it needs pure skills here, if you will be bored in slot games, you can divert into trading and have a chance to win higher leverage.
Exactly. When they have this kind of attitude that they can control the emotions towards gambling even on winning or losing, for sure they'll improve their gambling life. I really love this trading game but seems not to play a lot there because when I'm outside gambling I'm more into trading so it seems boring on my part, so I'm into slots or sometimes on other sites crash and live games but it's a good alternative when you're bored to these luck based games.
3072  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any contests for predicting the price of coins? on: July 23, 2021, 03:00:38 PM
Hey traders.
I think that such a thing should exist in the world of cryptocurrencies.
I am quite good at analyzing the prices of cryptocurrencies and would like to try myself in this. I don't want to make any investments in this, I don't want to give my money away, I just want to have fun. If I also win something at the same time, it would be just super cool!
Do you have any thoughts?
Have you heard of this?
In this forum it exists and you have to follow are best guy on that @El_duderino because he makes awesome prediction contests for the Bitcoin price and you can win bitcoins of course. It's free and you need to visit regularly the Games and Rounds board since that's where he posts his contests. It's too random here so you better visit the boards even everyday here so you won't miss out.
3073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What nft functions can you think of? on: July 23, 2021, 09:59:05 AM
Pretty much you already named it all, but how about those land titles? I guess it can be used on there too as far as I'm concern. I guess those that are subjects to copyright are the things that NFT may function of. There are many things could be unveil when the full potential of NFT may unlocked, for now it only limits to games and arts but for sure it has many features to be unlocked.
3074  Economy / Reputation / Re: Changed username from Coolcryptovator to COOLCRYPTOVATOR on: July 23, 2021, 05:16:57 AM
I have a pending request too to @theymos but I guess he just selo those who stands out here in the forum or those who made lot of contributions. On my case I guess it would be too rare to see. Well, congratulations for the approved request. Seems weird to be honest but looks like the new cool thing is on an uppercase letters.
3075  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Other Bitcoin wallet that converts Bitcoin to PHP? on: July 23, 2021, 03:26:27 AM
Try mo nalang mag Binance P2P bro. Nag Binance P2P ako then mayroon ding GCASH or Unionbank so far hassle lang pag may maintenance at so far malaki rin yung monthly limit nasa 500k for cash in nila if yung GCASH app mo ay mayroong nakalink na mga bank account gaya ng Unionbank or BPI.

Recommended: Binance, GCASH, and other online banking apps like Unionbank, Payoneer, and BPI. Mostly walang hasol sa part ko.

3076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the next bubble? NFT! on: July 22, 2021, 03:14:50 PM
So many defi projects are now focussing more on NFT development as everyone likes to take advantage of the latest market craze, a meme coin can boom in the market at any point giving its holders profits up to 40x e.g hex token recently did a bubble-like movement.
Well, they need to FOMO because if they do they can make sums of profit even they just create some copy pasta projects. That HEX token was just a shitcoin after all and that's not surprising. Most of these meme coins will surely be gone in a year from now, only few will thrive but NFT has more and serious potential.

^  Yup..  I’ve been looking into this after seeing AXS pump at Binance just a month ago.  So I thought gaming with tokens stored in the blockchain and tradeable, cool..  I went to the site and I’m like..  each little character to play the game costs an average of 300 USD..?  The game is pricing itself out.
It's quite pricey and the thing that's everyone is hyped for is the can earn with SLP and good thing is that they already own it but most just into FOMO I suppose. They should know that it's still having the volatility feature as it's still cryptocurrency and it's on some centralized exchanges that's more prone to sume p&d but I guess Axie will thrive in the gaming category for an NFT, the game was fun indeed.
3077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much of your total capital is in crypto? on: July 22, 2021, 02:47:25 PM
I don't think it matters but for the sake for the thread, I'll reveal mine. I have around 90% on crypto but right now it's way on the stablecoins, still waiting on what the crypto will plays out in the coming weeks or months. Crypto itself is some kind of bank in a sense.

I don't really count in percentages, but my current portfolio is worth around 20k. That's almost 6 months of my salary. I don't have much capital to invest in crypto, because basically crypto is not my main choice to earn money. This investment is like emergency storage in case of need. for now i only hold btc, eth and some other big coins in my portfolio.
20k in dollars? I'm pretty sure that is still a huge capital of it's in dollars. But on the crypto you hold right now how much is it in total?
3078  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Ano ang masasabi niyo sa mga dinagdag na crypto ni coins.ph? on: July 22, 2021, 11:12:20 AM
Para sa akin, yung USDC lang ang praktikal at pagdating dun sa dalawa pang tokens, it doesn't make much sense [especially KNC].
- Having said that, baka I'm missing something kaya mas maganda kung abangan nalang natin yung future "blog" post nila.

No doubt sa USDC kasi I receive some USDC for a payment at sabi ng client ko mas prefer daw nila lalo't bumaba yung tx fee at parating pa yung London Fork.
3079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 22, 2021, 10:58:47 AM
Gambling and casinos a bloody mixed affected addiction. Can who addicted with gambling can't leave with easily. Because when a gambler win a bets he could his luck very favour but when a gambler lose in a bets he thinks he a unlucky and continue his bets untill he gain a bet with win.
That's what I considered as chasing your loss, most gamblers would do what you mentioned earlier in order to get back their capital or even just for taking a little profit. Its normal and usually happen in gambling, the thing is some people don't know when they are supposed to stop chasing their loss and ended up draining all of the funds in their pocket.
I guess even chasing losses will lead you to addiction. Imagine, you just gamble what's suppose you can afford to lose money then sooner or later you deposit again to get back that but you ended up losing again but this time it was for other purposes like a necessity. So, you need to get it back again until you realize you have into more credits and you need to make ends meet but you still gamble to get it back.

Chasing losses isn't bad (but overall it's totally a bad thing) if this money you spent for gambling isn't on important things like savings for future purposes. There are people who does this and they just realize it when they got nothing to gamble on.
3080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: July 22, 2021, 03:05:56 AM
That still raises more questions but it isn't a huge feat considering they are increasing on number of players. So far this would be the expensive eSport I guess considering you need to get this expensive Axies so you can be able to play.

Future betting is possible but I wonder what would be the criteria of choosing Axie participants? We all know that Axis has different characteristics and there are users who successfully breed good ones. Even it's a strategy-based game, a good set of skills has the advantage.
When it comes to betting for sure the bettors will go to the player that has nicer breeds and skills. I guess they should create a good matchmaking system here that considers the owned breed, rarity, skills owned and other factors so it's provably fair.
