1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run within Q4 of 2024? on: January 27, 2024, 09:53:26 PM
That's true and I think we are all saying the same thing here, the market can remain unpredictable and we can only do the best for ourselves by making decisions to hold now till then, if it comes in early this year then fine, but if it's meant to begin by next year which is 2025 then I think that is also not bad anyway, ours is to always get prepared for it coming, the preparation begin with what we do today.
I think now is a matter buying and holding, having all it takes to accumulate more including Bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency. There is always a saying, "After the rain comes shine", the market has experienced too many DIP and we don't espect to continue soaring in it for too long, we believe in shorter time the market will experience a new face, were everyone will see profits from their holdings.
Well I think with the surge from below 20k I think it will get exhausted and we already experience it this time around but I think it will not be too long before it goes back up again. Remember after halving the price historically went upward and this time is the only time for a good buying on spot markets.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL and XRP have the highest market capture? on: January 27, 2024, 04:03:08 PM
What makes me laugh is that all of those crypto as discussed are still consider an altcoin without any significance. They are coins that will not survive long which was predicted about a time after 2017. Yet, they are alive and happening without any difficulties.

Do you think they will survive or no
Establishing a name on every industry do matter and I think only one from your list for me doesn't made any significant impact yet when it comes to the brand which is SOL but the rest I think they do. They'll survive for sure, it's evolving and that's the only way they could. I don't think they haven't endured any difficulties to be at top right now, they did have difficulties on their own and even Bitcoin did.
3  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sa mga mahilig magairdrop isang paalala at magingat tayo on: January 27, 2024, 02:23:35 PM
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Claim $WEN airdrop if you are active on Solana on: January 27, 2024, 12:18:44 PM
Seems to be another competitor for another memecoin but I think we've seen lot of it but still congratulations to those who are eligible, it seems I'm not and I'm not that into SOL ecosystem tbh yet. I think airdrop should be something like this because those who we anticipate the most seems to just disappointing especially with the recently airdropped MANTA tokens.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "loaded slots" scam on: January 27, 2024, 09:42:44 AM
Someone claiming that if you pay them x amount of money, they'll give you some very secretive sets of information about what slot games to play and when, in order to get surewins.

It's important to emphasize that this is an outright scam. Slot machines, especially virtual ones, are based on chance alone.
So the term "loaded slot machine" does not apply at all. If you have ever seen someone believing in this myth, do your best to dispel it.
If we're going to gamble, at least we should be educated about it and do it in a healthy manner, without falling into the trap of fallacies.
That's too good to be true tbh and I think only newbies would surely fall on that. If you already played any slots online before you'll notice that it's no different than any physical casino will offer, it's a game of chance. I don't think they could persuade regular gambler to fall for this outright scam, they'll surely not unless you're that desperate to make some quick gains.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops speculations thread on: January 26, 2024, 09:47:57 PM
Seems Eigenlayer will be meta for a while, Altlayer took Eigenlayer stakers in their criteria, and likely there are others are in pipeline, plus $EIGEN itself.

Also, whalesmarket opened trading of Eigenlayer points, although I see no orders yet: https://twitter.com/WhalesMarket/status/1750189202824966652
Wow that's massive and I've been farming this one for awhile and there's still long way to go and now that they moved their reopening I guess it's my way to accumulate more to be restaked. So sad never get some ALT on that airdrop because they're just airdropping those who got more points on the restaked platforms and probably those who get so early and have huge staked assets.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: January 26, 2024, 09:06:21 PM
Do you really see gambling as more of fun than a means to a financial end?

how much can you put into gambling before it removes the fun aspect of gambling out of it?
Why not both? I mean if you really love that sport that you even play with it and at the same time you can make a bet for your favorite team or player, I think winning over it would be just an extra for you having fun but sure it involves both. As I've said you don't have to sacrifice the fun just to say you're earning out of it, you can let it stay with the chance of winning some money.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the definition of a Gambler? Do you consider yourself as a Gambler? on: January 26, 2024, 08:25:15 PM
Personally, I don't like the word Gambler tbh. And it feels more worse when someone calls someone a Gambler in the local language. I played some hands it's true and I tested many games for test purposes But I was never affected by the gamble. and I consider I am not a gambler myself. Somehow I do not feel good or something does not fit with me by this word.

What do you think about yourself and how do you want to define the word Gambler?
I think what we call gamblers are those regular gamblers but yeah calling us gambler out of nowhere is out of ordinary but I don't think we can associate another word with it when it facts we gamble. Maybe it's just rooted on our memory that if we hear a gambler we tend to associate it on some bad person but I think it's just how we have perceived it but actually there's nothing wrong with it as long as you're not doing something illegal.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a social or casual good guesser make better gambling prediction carrier? on: January 26, 2024, 07:49:54 PM
These is a scenero of such game. Behold dear gamblers, someone in our midsts was able to make an exact 10 right guesses out of this challenge meanwhile others could even make count of a single right guess

This opted one of us to say to the champion that.... Oh wow, man, you are professional guesser. Maybe someone like you could be a professional gambling predictional.

I am concerned to ask, can such a person build a gambling carrier with such an excellent guessing prohibition? Or he should trash it all and believe that gambling predictions remains a game of luck?
I don't think so, maybe it was just pure luck and coincidences on all that guess and it could change your view at some point when something like a money was on the line. You tend to be carefree at guessing like that but when it comes to gambling you're thinking more than you could think, I think psychology has some explanations on that or it's still part of some unsolved mysteries, lol.

Though I like the fact na marami itong supported chains kaya mas lalong maigi.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: lucky check club lottery on: January 26, 2024, 01:46:28 PM
this is not a casino - this is a lottery
users pay with a credit card, but not with cryptocurrency, that's why we're interested
So you're trying to optimize the use of cryptocurrency payment but so far you didn't have any transactions yet on it? Well, I think wherever you are located seems not favorable on crypto or it isn't know yet to them so better relocate your location or better to provide knowledge on how good crypto is or doing some seminars or something.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chances for approving a spot Ethereum ETF? on: January 25, 2024, 06:01:22 PM
What are the odds for the SEC to approve a spot ETF for Ethereum by May? Gary Gensler used to say ETH is a security back then, but things could change now that Bitcoin spot ETFs were recently approved by the regulating entity. Market prices for ETH have been going down lately after BTC's downfall to $41k. So I'm wondering, is now the time to buy more ETH or should I wait for another dip?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
May? That's totally unlikely but good exposure to make an ATH for it and probably start the next altcoins season. I think Gary was just no comment these days when it comes asking if ETH is a security he probably know that he'll lose once again, XRP even isn't a security what more to ETH. I think DCA'ing on 2k level is a no-brainer.
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaMask Crypto Casinos on: January 25, 2024, 05:25:25 PM
Hi,

Do you prefer casinos where you can connect your MetaMask wallet for quick sign-in and deposit/withdrawal, or is that not very important to you?

I've created a section listing crypto casinos that offer this feature, but it hasn't attracted much interest, so I'm curious to know what you think about this feature.
You can find the list here -> MetaMask Casinos
I don't think it should be called Metamask casino when in fact you can connect lot of dApps on it. I think "dApps/decentralized casino" is the appropriate name of it. Yeah been there post 2021 but I think decentralized casino was far from being adopted considering the liquidity in the first place plus the lot of rugs and hacks happen on it.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you preffer your dealer talkative or not? on: January 25, 2024, 04:11:49 PM
I prefer playing silently when I am gambling. One reason is to be able to think seriously with my bets and another is pressure and lack of comfortability with my gambling experience. It is just hard to focus on things if your attention is torn between minding your bets or listening to what the dealer is talking about. As humans, we are only capable of selective attention. There are just time we would want additional noises such as with socialization to other gamblers or with the dealer but for sure it won't be always on my end. First of all I chose online gambling because I only have to mind myself when playing unlike with landbased casinos wherein socialization is difficult to avoid. There are also instances wherein talking is a form of distraction to cheat although this is not to conclude but it would be better to still be mindful of things to prevent such unwanted scenario.
What do you think about this all? Do you like your dealer talkative or not?
And if you prefer the dealer being talkative, would you mind if they made up some story just to keep talking? Or would you prefer even that over silence?
I think dealers are just doing their jobs and being talkative at times is necessary so that players wouldn't get boring. I think I like them when they are talkative because some of the time we tend not to care especially when we focus on gambling, it just stir up some vibes though if you hear them talking that might interest you. I don't like them being silent, they're more like a robot being dressed by their employers.
However, not all gamblers are comfortable of it and that's enough to not initiate with talks unless players started it themselves. Many gamblers are losing big time and if you are in their shoes, would you like to be distracted given that you're focused of getting what you have lost? I believe you won't and not making unnecessary talks and noises are also a form of respect given that you are not the only one playing. You are free to enjoy such feat but never expect that all people would also do; we have our own preference.
I get that but if you join that they are already talking I think just for respect gamblers shouldn't tell them not to talk because they're being uncomfortable unless they tell them beforehand, these dealers would surely understand. Gamblers are losing big time isn't new they know that in the first place that it's one-sided, I mean we're talking online betting here so best turn the audio off if you don't want them talking, that easy.

16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to win a game given to you in the dream? on: January 24, 2024, 09:18:11 PM
So what experience have you entered in your dream about gambling?
Have you ever won a game from dream?
What if that dream was just him watching others play the game but knows the outcome? I don't recall I am gambling in a dream, it was more on fiction thing as far as I can remember it. I don't think I can just trust my dream, after all it was just a dream which might be 90% not real at all.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: January 24, 2024, 08:27:47 PM
Question: would she be so disheartened and mad as this if the son had won the bet on a multi million price?
Dear fellows, let's assume you are the mom, what would be your state of mind on this context?
I don't think so unless his son confess that he won such kind of prize. I think win or lose that needs some parenting discipline for him to realize that it was wrong and doing it again may lead to some consequences. Giving them some punishment is enough for them to know what's wrong and right, that's the bittersweet of parenting.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: January 24, 2024, 07:36:24 PM
Crypto gambling needs freedom, and i insist in this point. If you can Deposit, Wager and Widrawal, then you don't need anything else.  And a big shout out to those casinos who still working until now without a license, freebitco.in, Just-Dice.com, bustabit.com... They are big examples of how crypto gambling should be.
Or have a real crypto gambling firm that could offer licenses just for crypto, to make it more regulated. It doesn't mean it's not important but for those gamblers who wants it, it sure is important. To be honest, people still have that narrative to ask, "do you have a license somewhere?" even in this very forum. And, hands down to those crypto casinos that get huge without it, totally fascinating.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to promote information about projects? on: January 24, 2024, 07:04:29 PM
Hi everyone, I'm asking people with experience in running crypto projects. Where should I publish information about my project to be seen by interested people? For example, if I just make posts on Twitter, they will be seen by a couple of people at most and the probability of a response is very low. The situation is the same in other social networks. With advertising is also a problem, because there is just an unrealistic number of fraudulent projects and most likely the result will also be about zero because people immediately consider everything a scam and the advertising itself is also expensive. Airdrops and so on is the same thing. People will get tokens and just sell. In general, as I understand it, people without connections and big money just don't stand a chance.
Sadly the latter statement seems to be true and that's the reality we are in but that doesn't mean that being diligent and having a small budget isn't worth it, you just need to try at the very least. Starting small doesn't mean it will fail, you just need to utilize whatever resources you have right now and just be consistent.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Kaspa actually Bitcoin 2.0? on: January 23, 2024, 09:58:17 PM
They have maximum total supply, like Bitcoin
PoW like Bitcoin
Halvings like Bitcoin.

10 blocks per second on Testnet vs. 1 block per 10 minutes on Bitcoin

You can scan QR code. In 0.1 second block is created. In 1 second 10 confirmations. And you don't even need these 10 blocks. Because if several blocks are created at the same time - they all are added. So if you get into a block. This block can't be cancelled by other blocks.

Testnet. 10bps
http://104.11.218.91:8080/

Mainnet. 1bps
https://explorer.kaspa.org/

Bitcoin. But a real-time method of payment. What do you think?
There has been numerous copycat saying this already but it dies out over the years but Bitcoin remains at the top. There's nothing like Bitcoin 2.0 because there will only one Bitcoin, yeah that was the term they use just to promote the coin but they will remain Kaspa. It may have surge in price and we may see it as a trend but for me that's not another Bitcoin.
