3061  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Help with bitcoin transfer mistake on: July 31, 2017, 10:36:19 PM
I am aware of the Fork, and Coinbase said it will handle transactions through midnight PT today. Not sure exactly how to imbed screenshots, sorry.

the .655 BTC transfer is confirmed on Coinbase and the Electrum wallet says "Balance: 655.00303 mBTC"

It's  655.00303 mBTC not 655 BTC.

3063  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Help with bitcoin transfer mistake on: July 31, 2017, 09:18:48 PM
I mistakenly sent the wrong amount of bitcoin from my Coinbase account to Electrum?

Instead of sending a total of .655 to Electrum from Coinable, which is the total I have in Coinable, I wrote a total 655 to be received by Electrum in Electrum. 655 BTC is now what shows up in the “History” in Electrum, even though I don’t have that amount of bitcoin and didn't send it.  I tried to delete the transaction in Electrum but it still shows up in my history. Will Electrum automatically correct this error? If not, can you tell me what I can do?

Thanks, in advance, for your help.

Be careful moving any amount right now. At least until the dust settles.
3064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You A Sellout (Or Did You Hodl)? on: July 31, 2017, 08:49:32 PM
HODL (moved to cold storage) and bought one bitcoin last week that I am keeping on Kraken - just for fun.
Same for myself. Let's hope we called it right. In it for the longterm.

Not worth the risk of a replay attack and losing all your btc.
3069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is accepting by top10% people now. And all we need to do is one T-shirt on: July 30, 2017, 09:14:23 PM
I thought about this before then decided against it. No point walking around advertising that you may have the private key to a million.

Sadly I believe that he has passed over to the next life.
3071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is everyone feeling going into Aug 1? on: July 28, 2017, 12:42:02 PM
Do you have any concerns for Tuesdays split?

I"m personally a little worried a lot of people could lose bitcoins due to replay attacks.

I think everyone is sick to the back teeth with August 1st already and just want cryptoshere to move the fuck on away from all the politics. I know that I am.

3074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jaxx and August 1st on: July 26, 2017, 09:02:50 PM
Every wallet which you can export your private keys is a proper wallet and your funds are safe. I don't know whether you can export your private key on Jaxx wallet or not. If no, move your bitcoins as soon as possible
Yes thanks, you can it was in the settings. Also just read on reddit that you will be able to import the pk into a wallet on any fork to get your coins.
3075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Jaxx and August 1st on: July 26, 2017, 08:35:29 PM
What's the official Jaxx stance regarding August 1st? Is it okay to hold some BTC in my Jaxx wallet on August 1st, or should they be moved to Electrum?
3076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash (BCC) is an Alt-coin trying to profit off the Bitcoin Brand on: July 25, 2017, 07:49:46 PM
How many chances of Forking? Any rough idea if we want to know the %? Thanks.

The chances of forking are 100%. You shouldn't give it much attention though, It's going to be dumped in a matter of seconds as every BTC holder will have BCC as well and almost everyone here is with SegWit, no one is going to use that BCC.

+1 to this. It s going to be a race who dumps it first. I know I ll have my finger on my BCCshit trigger.

There s no fucking way this can work. If it would, Roger Ver and the gang could remake a new Bitcoin every six months.

There needs to be a clear distinction between BTC and alts. Fuck BCC.

They are trying to do an ETC Criminal Coin. BCC will be known as the Bitcoin Criminal Coin.
3077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [UPDATED]: The OFFICIAL SegWit2x Lock-in Thread on: July 24, 2017, 04:59:51 PM
It clearly won't be activated during this period but 100% on the next one If miners continue signalling it. I just want to know, each activation period is 2016 blocks, how much time is that? like in days or weeks.
~14 days.
