Not worried at all. Actually I'm very eager to cross this date already. Too much waiting for all of us that sometimes all the negative feelings has already emptied. I personally going to face it with a lot of optimism. I already put all my coins into safety and will let it sit there for a while before making any move. And based on the people around here, they are also ready to face the music come Aug 1. We have so much time to prepared for this so I hope others have done their share. Those who will panic and nervous are people who didn't prepare for the split. The forum has already posted a lot of information to help everyone. I'm also optimistic that the impact to the price will be minimal and it will not make any significant dent on it. Maybe just a few dips here and there but it will recover soon to another ATH.

Split or not as long as we get a solution for the scaling issues, and we need them ASAP. These transaction fees are a huge turnoff for new and curious users. Concerning the prices, if you're in for the long ride then I think you don't have to worry much.

I am prepared for the upcoming split. I have stored all of my bitcoin in paper wallet so that i can easily move any new coin i will get after the split. I will not move any coins for next few days after split to not get affected by any types of attack.

Some people are now afraid for the upcoming 1st day of August. As for me, I just go with the flow since I don't invest any of my btc. Actually, I feel the same because I am satisfied for what is happening about btc. However, I know that there will be some changes yet I have to consider the changes and that's reality. Acceptance is a must.

For sure most of the bitcoin users like me are worried and scared in august1 becayse they oissible that bitcoin price will decrease and I hope it will not happen. If they decrease I hope little only and I dont want to see lower than 2000 dollars . But for sure after after the august 1 many people happy because they have possible price of bitcoin to reach 3000 dollars and I think it truly happen in the month of august.

Here personally I am not in tension at all because all the technology that the blockchain is using can't be bad or can't harm our bitcoin , because already we have seen that many types of the fork happen successfully ( since here something went very new ) .
Here only a single thing happen that is splitting , Now here if the bitcoin will split another side then surely we need to make some change by a given software and if our btc will remain at the same side then we don't need to do anything.
So here you can see what is going different or strange that is risky.
Here I am totally free from all type of tensions .

This is the wise decision. I do it too. If everyone adhered to such tactics then there would be no problem. And no whales would have bought bitcoins and users have cleaned pockets of the whales. This would benefit all users.

Yes the price MAY fall and/or it MAY rise but 1 BTC will still be 1BTC and longterm the value will be healthy.

do you all remember the issue with the Winklevoss brothers seeking ETF for Bitcoin and when the
SEC rejected it in March? remember how we were told that the price would fall drastically after the decision?

Well I'm optimistic because it will put an end to a lot of FUD going around about bitcoin so confidence can recover at least until the next hard fork.

Replay attacks is a real concern though but I think what will happen is just that transactions will come to a virtual standstill for 12-48 hours until this is solved rather than people losing a lot.

I think there is no more to be fear because it is up to bitcoin if it is fall or rise. I think if bitcoin falls it will sharply recover when bitcoin price is starting to rise again. However, August 1st is the day that holders can be fear too because it is depend on their bitcoin's status. But in my own opinion no more to fear about it. It is only for the benefits of all why segwit will be done.

Just like you, I'm also not worried at all because I've secured all my coin coins and it's just that we have to wait for the decision on the 1st of August and hopefully the decision gets better for all users.

Well most of the bitcoin community are worried about the hardfork update on August 1st others are loosing their hope but if we have trust to bitcoin then lets this issue pass and just hold on... We are all in this together whatever happen bitcoin will surpass all these drama.

Mixed feeling on here. I do feel bit excited and little bit worried. Excited to see to solve scaling issues which is really a good thing for bitcoin which potential new comers would really see bitcoin not having some problems regarding on this matter. Little bit worried on split that it might really give negative impact on bitcoins price.Most people say here that price would shoot up but i would say we cant still be sure if those things would really happen on August 1 later on.

I don't think that this is something that we should worry about because nothing negative is going to happen on that day. In fact, I am optimistic about the event and I believe that we will see a significant increase in the user base within few months after this event. There will be lower transaction fees and faster confirmation time so nothing to worry about it.
