3061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Cardano & Polkadot on: July 13, 2021, 05:45:33 PM
To be honest, I thought DOT was a huge thing but now I realized it’s nothing but a lot of promises like all the other ICOs. I can't see huge development of this project. It was created with an intention to ensure the ETH 2.0 version before ETH 2.0 launched but still not so much development has been made.
I think they both are good investment for the long term.
3062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: July 13, 2021, 03:08:01 PM
Been a long, long time since I did POS coins, guys. There was a time I was having all these wallets open on my computer, at first making quite decent income from reselling back into BTC, but eventually when POS madness got crazy, not even high interest earning could counter the 99% price drop.

Tempted to see how far this goes as I do like lightlord and am a Bitvest supporter:P
Most of PoS coins out there are trash, no doubt, because of their supply model and specially without any real adoption. I had staked one coin few years ago and the output was too bad, I had incurred a good loss.
However, ElonCoin is also same PoS coin and I'm staking this one too. Have purchased some good amount and getting some good rewards. Don't know where this coin will be landed too (lightlord is leading to MARS  Cheesy). The block reward is supposed to be 500 EMC per coin after 2/3 years if I'm correct and after than, we may see some good pump. Let's hold and wait.

new exchange listing today . omg im so excited , i wonder if it will be dextrade or hotbit ? hmm ... but the website probably comes next after this ?
Dex-trade will list EMC today. That's what lightlord shared in discord. Regarding other exchange listing, there's no confirmation yet. There was a poll in the telegram only. And website is supposed to be launched soon, no confirmation yet though.

Is this the same person, if you look at the @USDEXCHANGER LTD account, doing the same thing as what was done by:@Buyselldollar.
Yes, they all are either a group of person a single person trying to pretend as others. Someone has already mentioned about the btc dude in that thread as you can see.
MAJOR SCAMMER ALERT!!

this guy is btc dude, stay away from him!!
he will scam you till you die, resurrect and die again!

From your investigation, everything seems okay but one thing I can't understand. None of the phone numbers listed are from Bangladesh. These numbers are from other countries. This is more shady too.
3065  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it good to allow Black Money to be whiten by investing in Stock? on: July 10, 2021, 01:13:40 PM
Lol I have seen or heard of a thing like this. For me it is totally wrong, and it shouldn’t be allowed in any country. Any government that allows such laws in their country is trying to encourage corruption on their country.
In the last fiscal year, huge money was whiten by this corrupted people. I had a closer look after reading this news. This is ridiculous that an honest businessman has to pay far higher amount as tax than a corrupted man who has whitened the black money last year.
Still, after increasing the rate, it’s low than some of the business corporate taxes.
Few businessman have already raised their voice against this and they were also mentioning about encouraging corruption by govt.

A dollar exchange service from Bangladesh is claiming that they are govt approved exchange site for exchanging Bitcoin which is a blatant lie because Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is illegal in Bangladesh and therefore, no one can have a license or approval for such a business.

3068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dogecoin double spend on: July 10, 2021, 09:51:54 AM
some time  ago I sent a large amount  Dodgecoin   to an exchange ``Kraken and it appeared to not have gone through so I send a larger amount, which turned out to be a double spend
Did you use the same input in the 2nd transaction? I mean in your larger amount, was the 1st SENT amount also included? I'm a little confuse on your question. If in the 2nd transaction, you used the input of the 1st transaction, what are you looking for? You have got the whole amount in the 2nd transaction.
If you didn’t have included the first input in the 2nd transaction, what made the transaction failed? It shouldn’t be a fee issue in the first place because Doge fee isn’t that high. If fee isn’t an issue, your first transaction should be reached too. In case, there's a problem with low fee, your doge will reach to your address for sure.
3069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can altcoins be divided into mainstream, non-mainstream, and junk coins? on: July 10, 2021, 09:36:30 AM
If you want to classify the altcoins into three of the segment you mentioned, I doubt you will get more than 10 altcoins for the mainstream according to your definition. Other than a few coins like ETH, XMR, IOTA, almost all the projects are junk or z category coins which has no real use cases, no good team with related background.
Personally, I have been scammed a few times but that coins aren’t here anymore. They are either dead projects or a scam one which never been existed in the market.
3070  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Evercoom scammed 210 BNB, bounty hunters alocation, my service charge etc on: July 09, 2021, 02:47:55 PM
It's very hard to detect scam. I had a look at this project few days ago as someone asked for recommendation on my telegram group, I was not sure but didn’t have the idea that it can be a scam one. I asked him play safe.
Sorry to hear your loss, Royse. You should now be more careful.
3071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC price is different from the one declared by official website on: July 09, 2021, 02:34:42 PM
then I look upon the website and I found another price, then I search through Etherscan for more info and I find the same price declared by CMC.
Depends on which website you are looking into. In different exchanges, price may vary due to the difference between supply and demand in different exchanges. Apart from that, you should also know how CMC price algorithm works. They put more importance on exchanges which has more liquidity.
It is also possible that, in an exchange, the price is $1 for a certain coin but in other exchange the price is $1.50, but if there’s no more liquidity in the exchange where the price is $1.50, you can't say the current price of the coin is $1.50
Hope this makes enough sense.

You are fine to promote your service here. If I'm correct, I have seen a few more advertisements here with the same service but not sure how much clients they got as the clients never share anything here  Grin Good luck to you.
3073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CONMEBOL] Copa America 2021 Discussion Thread on: July 09, 2021, 08:34:16 AM
This is what happening when Brazil vs Argentina match is knocking the door. Copa America was less popular until the 2nd semi final, Euro was the hot one but now no one is even talking about the Euro. Lame supporters though- https://www.batimes.com.ar/news/world/bangladesh-on-alert-for-brazil-argentina-copa-america-clash.phtml
This is common scenery when Brazil faces Argentina.
3074  Other / Meta / Re: Have you noticed many newbies/junior members opening threads lately? on: July 09, 2021, 07:53:16 AM

I have the impression that the same idea expressed in an OP or on page 1 or 2 of a thread is more likely to receive merit than if expressed in a comment on page 14. That's just my impression though. I don't know if some statistical savant like DdmrDdmr will have statistics on this.

And I didn't say it's wrong, by the way.
What you said is true but certainly for temporary, in short period of time, a quality post in page x may get unnoticed (that would be altcoin discussion board for sure), however, after a few days, it’s possible that the post will be discovered by someone and get enough merit.
In case, they don’t receive enough merit, help them to get what they deserve- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5093271.0
3075  Other / Meta / Re: Have you noticed many newbies/junior members opening threads lately? on: July 09, 2021, 07:02:57 AM
What is clear is that if you open threads (if they don't suck) it's easier to get merits. I don't know if they know it and that's why.
Not true at all. If you are generating quality post, you will get merit. No matter it’s a reply or a thread itself. Without quality, no matter what you create, you are unlikely to get merit.
Regarding creating thread, I see no problem with that if the topic is something to discuss about, if the topic isn’t discussed hundreds of times. Then there's nothing wrong to create a thread.

3078  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [EDU] What to do if you fall victim of a Scam on: July 07, 2021, 06:10:43 PM

You may not get your money back but by reporting the scam you have someone else from being a victim.

Or save? The bold word!
I don't think people will go for reporting scams that involve a tiny amount. No one bothers to take a further step for such an amount and they simply move on because it doesn't worth the time. On the other hand, in case of a big sum scammed, it's very unlikely that scammer will get caught. It's certainly good to report a scam but most of the time, this gets unresolved. Either no action is taken or nothing can be done by the authority because big scammer always have enough security ensured.

1) The Explainer - Your job is to speak about the coin, and explain stuff. You are the people's person, socialize and get to know others.
I guess I'm doing this in the discord group from the very beginning of the discord group. I have volunteerly tried to help everyone by answering each of their questions. You can see my message history in the ElonCoin group. I'm interested to join the project. Check my PM here.
3080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: "minimumstakingthresold" affect in staking rewards on: July 07, 2021, 05:13:52 PM
Thank you for the quick answer. I was able to find and understand the minimum staking threshold but now I got one more question. What's "Stake Split Threshold" is all about? I have been staking for 15 days so far and got a total of 21 blocks but that seems so low. Someone with 1/3rd of my balance got 35 blocks within 10 days. Now, I'm worried about whether I'm doing something wrong or not. Why would I receive cetoo low number of blocks with 3x of his balance and for your info, my inputs are more matured than him.

Can you please specify which coin you are trying to stake and which platform you are using to stake it.
It's ElonCoin  Grin and I'm using my laptop to stake. My laptop is 24 hours on. However, my internet speed seems to get down sometimes which can be the reason for not getting enough blocks?

And if the coin does not have this description and the developers of the project want you to send coins to staking, then this can result in losses for you.
Thank you for the advice but I'm staking on my wallet, in my laptop.
