i don't think we'll see the price maintain the $300 this year. even if we do go over $300 then we most likely see the price go down again. it has proven to be a more than tough price level.

how about never? it won't happen so stop dreaming about it. set yourself some realistic goals and focus on that. bitcoin is an alternative to fiat, not a replacement.

it's definitely good news, but let's not get excited too quickly right now. they are just exploring the possibilities, which for bitcoin is a great achievement. at this point there are far too many negatives. i hope this isn't the last thing we hear from them regarding bitcoin.

yeah, no one can predict the bitcoin price. i have seen so many predictions here and on several respected crypto news sites, and most of the time they are wrong. no matter how long you trade bitcoin or how much you know about markets, bitcoin is and will stay unpredictable for quite some years.

don't think the stock market has any influence on bitcoin at this point. as litecoinguy also said, it's pure coincidence. currently bitcoin is being hammered down due to the xt drama. and i'm sure it won't stop any time soon.

the only and best thing i could do is holding my coins. i won't sell them at anything near that price as they are too precious. and no, i don't think we'll see the price go under $100.

for plenty of people that are losing money, there also are a few winners. people that can't handle volatility should sell all their coins and never come back. these are the kind of people that blame bitcoin for their own stupid actions.

you do understand that the closer we come to the block halving, the more likely it is we see the price go up, right? don't wait too long with buying.

your prediction doesn't seem that unreasonable. at this point plenty of merchants have already accepted bitcoin and plenty more will follow. but i really hope to see amazon also jumps on board. maybe it's wishful thinking. my price prediction for 2016 will be $300-$350.

nothing is easy anymore with bitcoin. it will be very hard to hit $300 again, let alone $400. even if we do hit these levels, i don't think we'll be able to maintain these levels for long.

i think poloniex isn't being mentioned as most people still see it as altcoin exchange. their btc/usd volume is around 450btc at the moment. not bad for such an exchange.

we need to leave the xt drama behind before we'll see a recovery. the price will surely go down again in the comming days. i only hope not much lower than $200. otherwise it will take a long time to get back the lost ground.

at this point anything above $1000 looks million miles away. people shouldn't focus on that as it can take 5 years before we see the price going to $1000 again.

volatility is what makes bitcoin even more interesting. it gives us the opportunity to enter at lower levels and allows us to do profitable trading. i will stay with bitcoin for as long as i can. it either fails or will be a great success. we'll see.

people have no patience. beside that, they expect far too much from the block halving. and yes, the halving is the only thing i can see that can make the price go up at this point. i only wonder how long will the price hold its "higher" value.

chinese stock market crash is completely normal. especially if you consider how much growth the chinese economy has had in the past years. the recovery that will follow will be a slow one.

can't read that article without laughing. this once again shows that some writers have nothing to write about and thus come up with a nonsense article. criminals also use gold to scam people or paypal and cash money. will these also get banned? 

don't look at the current market price as it can go down quite a bit within a day again. we need to get rid of the xt fud first. it will continue for a few more weeks at least i guess.

it depends on where you buy/invest in real estate. here everything is way overpriced thus not worth looking at as far as investing in real estate goes. where do you live if i may ask?
