3061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: August 14, 2021, 10:31:52 PM
Though they're making good from the usage of paper currency usage, it is the need to go along with the growing technology.

Growing technology? Physical casinos transactions are mostly done now thru credit cards or online payments. Gamblers no need to bring their physical cash.

Don't tell me just because it physical casino you think guys that transactions were done by paper money? No. Growing technology doesn't mean physical casinos should accept crypto. There are lots of fast and quick payment methods compare to crypto that they currently use.

You have a valid point here. A lot of gamblers are not comfortable carrying actual cash inside the casino.
There are many digital ways now how to spend money inside the casino like debit/credit cards.
Crypto inside physical casino is still not seen, but only outside its premises. Like Bitcoin ATMs outside Vegas casinos.
However, it may soon be possible in countries like El Salvador. But it is too early to tell.
3062  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 COINSAGA.COM 👑 BITCOIN CASINO - START YOUR SAGA 🏆 CRYPTO ACCEPTED on: August 13, 2021, 11:55:24 PM
Aside from your website updates, how about contests that will attract gamblers?
I have seen that you have several deposit bonus or cashback that are in place already.
But to stir the interest from the community, you can also run some contests among players.
You've been here long enough in the forum, so I guess, you already know what I am taking about.
3063  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $48k the next Bitcoin benchmark? on: August 13, 2021, 11:22:46 PM
a few hours ago it was very close to reaching 48K:
-

if the price stays above $47000 and is consolidating in this zone then Saturday or Sunday it will be above 48K and will be running to be above 50K which I think can be reached later this month of August if this movement does not change

Keep doing what you know is right with your investment. Never fail yourself because of someone's prediction better to trust your own instinct.

True, but in this market we also have to follow the news and price forecasts made by other people, it helps to make comparisons with the forecasts we make

Seems that $48k is really on the horizon, and touching the 50k level again is very possible.
And also, if you really want to test your speculation skills, you can also bet on price prediction like in freebitco.
On the other note, this development is very positive for the community as we are rising up again.
When btc fell down to 30k few weeks ago, some were predicting that it will go down to 20k, and the opposite happens.
3064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anything make you stop gambling on: August 13, 2021, 10:32:13 PM
I have being gambling for quite a while now and  I don't think I'm addicted to it but nothing can make me stop gambling. Gambling is like a joy to me, it makes me happy and any time I tried to stop entirely, I would see my see going back to it.

Gambling is intoxicating and can give a great fortune if one is lucky and with the right fate. Can anything stop you from gambling...maybe your family, friends, circumstances or even your losses?
Majority of people who could completely stop gambling is on the time that they dont have already money to spent and this had been always the case for most people.

If you cant stop gambling but you havent able to compromise your life savings then it should be fine but you should be careful because as long you do get involved with gambling you would slowly
be addicted to it.

If you do find out that you are already spending on the amount which is more than on the amount you are allocating for then thats a solid sign that addiction is on the way.

This is correct. As long as you have funds to gamble with, and you want to play, why not?
But if it comes to the point that you are already using your funds for basic needs, then, maybe you need to assess your gambling situation here.
I can understand that gambling is addicting but you should know your limits especially when it comes to financial aspect.
It is your free will that can stop you from gambling, your family can only support your decision. But it is yourself that will make that decision.
3065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs, DEFI, NFTs, - what's next? on: August 12, 2021, 11:34:22 PM
NFT and games maybe still here for longer times as usual because the idea is very interesting. Moreover, if it is about the game tokens in which it is commonly used as a means of payment or use a case in the game platform itself.
But I am sure that there will be another new hype again because moreover this crypto world is always getting new and fresh ideas every year, almost every year the hype will be different and changeable  Grin

NFT/games will survive for long as they have actual market for this industry.
Gaming industry is already a billion-dollar industry even before the introduction of NFT games.
Aside from NFT-related games, NFT items will also be a very promising market.
More and more personalities, athletes, singers are finding the NFT industry to be a very lucrative one to engage to their fans.
So I believe NFT industry will survive long as they are just in the early stage of the market.
For the next hype, no idea yet, but yes, I am sure, there will always be a new one.
3066  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥NEW game CRYPTOS release 🔥 |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| 📈HotBit listing on: August 12, 2021, 10:28:24 PM

BFG token and its tokenomics/development were included in the BetFury strategy from the beginning. We do not change our strategy. There are teams working in different directions. The development of features and events also depends on the market situation. We would gladly satisfy all the requests of the community, but then you will not have anything to write here in comments 🙌

The community appreciates you for offering you part of the decision on where the project is going on, I also support listing on a better and other exchange with good volume preferably Binance or an exchange that is equal to Binance, doing marketing campaign here in this forum or putting ads on other popular platform is also a good option if other gambling casinos can sustain their marketing Betfury can also sustain it.

Thank you! As we wrote above, we are working on listing on large exchanges. We are in contact with Binance and hope to be on the moon soon 🌝

That's something to look on! Binance will surely bring this coin up, there's enough time for investors who wanted to join the ride.

Knowing the market, each time project got listed to a known reputable exchange, volume increase and traders' interest comes from different venues, it would be nice to this coin as passive investment,

Good luck BFG team, bring it on.. Wink

Hopefully, their journey to be listed in binance will be successful.
That would definitely boost their price in the market.
This will attract more players or stakers/farmers of their token.
However, farming is about to end. Will the team continue its farming feature or they will pause it after finishing the last block?
3067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano (ADA) coin hit $10 During 2021? on: August 12, 2021, 10:28:13 AM
It will be hard for ADA to reach that price in 2021 because we are talking about x5 and Quarter 3 it almost end but i don't think it's impossible to happen. If we are in the good trend like this untill the end of this year i think ADA will $10 in the end of quarter 4.
I'm more confident for $5 only on Cardano if the market can continue as good as it is now, because for $10 it's not that it's hard for Cardano in terms of getting there, but rather just not enough time

I am more on the $5 level as well. $10 is quite big jump at the moment.
If the btc market will continue to go up and we will see more projects being built under ADA network.
We need to see users being satisfied of the ADA services, so they can endorse it by the word of mouth.
That's a powerful tool of marketing. So let's see first how they will perform at the end of 3rd quarter.
3068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you combat market gloom? on: August 11, 2021, 11:59:59 PM
Low points and losing are key components of any game worth playing. Can't have the highs, without the lows.

Researching and identifying what the errors or mistakes were makes me feel better. They show whether the scenario was winnable and pave the way to how to avoid the same mistakes in the future.

And this is where holding strong coins comes in. Holding top alts is better than low market cap coins.
Researching, studying will only be fruitful if you will continue to keep up with the progress of the coins you are invested with.
Because we have no idea about their future, but we can get some insights to where they are going if we are keeping tab with their development progress.
If you see that the dev team is slowly losing their grip, better discard and sell the coin before you regret it.
3069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AMAZING NFT on: August 11, 2021, 11:40:50 PM
Cryptokitties and Axie infinite?
It's Axie Infinity and many are getting into that game because you're going to play easy, compete and I think with their most recent update. They're almost making it an esports where people are going to compete but you've got nothing to lose because you can still earn from there.
Each win will give you a small amount of reward and then if the higher the rank you're going, you'll be rewarded with higher rewards.

4. Decentraland
I've seen this somewhere and I know that it's already been there quite long and this caught my interest.

Seems that Axie Infinity is really getting much interest from gamers here.
Hope they will continue to add or improve services and won't stop from what they have now.
For now, I prefer to join NFT games with higher user base as you know they already attracted that much interest.
Because with higher user base means that the lifespan of the platform will be longer than those dull platforms.
3070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PolyNetwork Hacked, $600 million Lost on: August 11, 2021, 10:36:17 PM

They should act seriously on this matter, because if they're not having negligence on this certain breaches I think this wouldn't burst out being hacked. $600 million was really painful to think of since it's a funding for Polynetwork which I am figuring out to be difficult to recover too fast  This should be investigated if this was done by their staffs or an inside job happening.

With the amount of money involved, I wonder what was the previous security level of the platform.
The platform itself should be the one responsible with their security settings and should apply the highest security if possible.
They are holding the funds of users, and they are relying on their services.
Hope no inside job is involved in this case. And also, it demonstrates that even DeFi systems are really vulnerable to hacking.
People should know better how to secure their crypto assets.

But with the turn of events, wondering why the hackers are now returning what they stole (what triggers them to send it back?)

3071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 10, 2021, 11:56:15 PM
Holy shit, this will be happening in Saturday, time flies really fast. I hope that I can get some PPV tickets for this match because I want some palate finisher after all of those Olypics actions and I think that this fight can be a good finisher for me.
Yeah, it's almost not noticed after the news about Manny and Errol got canceled but still they'll pursue despite the injury that Errol got. People shouldn't forget that there are still two noticeable fighters that are about to box. So what's the people are going to say with these?
Is there any change with your decision that you'll go for Manny or Errol?

I thought Errol is replaced already by Ugas, so totally Errol is out of the game.

https://www.badlefthook.com/2021/8/10/22618826/manny-pacquiao-next-fight-errol-spence-out-yordenis-ugas-replacement-boxing-news-2021

However, talking about Casimero vs. Rigondeaux, I don't think this will make it to crypto sportbooks.
If you are really after for Casimero to win this fight, better look for your local bookie in the area.
3072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Makes Meme Coins, What Do You Think? on: August 10, 2021, 11:25:19 PM
I know that Elon Musk is still a very much influencer in the market, but his power to influence is going down the drain because of his baseless tweet against BTC.

If ever he create his now meme coins, I will not support it simply because it will become of the biggest pump and dump and in the end it might hurt the market as a whole. I agree who said that he should only go to bitcoin and accept it in Tesla.

Before he even think of creating his own meme coin, he needs to understand fully about btc and crypto market.
The reason of failed tweets because it shows he has insufficient knowledge when it comes to blockchain technology.
Given his influence, he should educate himself more about this new tech so he will not give lopsided tweets.
And besides, just give the space to real coin developers. He has other important things to attend to.
3073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Campaign Token on: August 10, 2021, 10:39:53 PM
--
Signature campaign participants get more tokens because there are fewer participants compared to social media campaigns. Some bounties do allocate more tokens for signature campaigns due to the large number of forum visitors and this provides an opportunity for the project to be recognized by the crypto community
other than that, this is the first forum about bitcoin and was founded directly by sathoshi, so it has its own charm. there are many legends who have joined for a long time and know the crypto ecosystem well. it is undeniable that the quality of the members here has a lot of impact on the project. The requirements for joining a signature campaign are also not as easy as joining social media, sometimes there is a minimum rank limit to join. so the number of participants is always less than social media, that's why I prefer the signature campaign.

But aside from the sig campaign, you can find good payrates in YT campaigns.
That is, if you need to make a YT video for the project with good quality and if you have high number of subscribers.
Because not many can create a convincing video dedicated for the project as well as being influential in this platform.
In any case, joining these bounty programs will always not be fruitful as some of them are not really strong to gain the interest of investors.
So if you happen to join a substandard project, your effort will be worthless as you can't even get the tokens promised to the hunters.
3074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITGESELL - Store of value (Burn rate is 90% of tx fees) #realstoreofvalue on: August 09, 2021, 09:57:54 PM
Wow Bitgesell is on 100% pump in seven days I hope it will continue and so are the promotion, it will not take long before investors noticed the potential of Bitgesell, I'm hoping for Binance I know this will take some time but Bitgesell has the uniqueness to be in the top exchange, it's also great to know that Bitgesell is also advertising here in Bitcointalk besides the signature campaign.

But upon checking the price in crex, the price is still at about 40+ sats.
So you mean by coming from 21 sats and now to 42? Anyway, that's really 100% increase.  Grin
But when I encountered this before, it even reached the 100 sats. Now, the coin need to achieve the 100-sat level again.
And if I can be honest, I don't think they will be reaching binance soon. Their trading volume in crex and hotbit is very low.
I don't think binance will get their interest to list this coin. They need to improve their daily trading volume first.
3075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Imo Inu (Imo Ino) Imo BSC Token on: August 09, 2021, 09:36:35 PM
Tomorrow is our next advertise day
buy now and hold imo

 https://imo-inu.com
Advertise on some crypto site that you mean? sounds promising to get more fans. But why not run a bounty on this forum too? like in this section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0, people are promoting their projects a lot at there. You can also hire professional bounty manager for your project.

Am not seeing a very strong meme project here.
Just like any other meme tokens hoping to get lucky in the market.
What I am seeing here if they run bounty program, their hunters may receive worthless meme tokens and they are just wasting their time.
If you look at their whitepaper, it is just a 7-page presentation, where a third grader can easily come up with.
You can even compress the content to one-page document. So don't see anything solid here. Just my 2 cents.
3076  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥NetEnt release 🔥 NFT Battles |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| 📈HotBit listing on: August 09, 2021, 09:03:21 PM
The numbers are very attractive to see, but that percentage will not last long.
And once people get in, the APR can easily go down and you won't get the same APR.
So it is up to you if you will join or not, and avail the staking or their farming feature.
Evaluate if it is worth keeping your tokens in this kind of passive income.
This will be worthwhile if the token keeps on rising its value.
That is what I tried to say, it is not really that profitable, even on the first moments, you make money for maybe 10 minutes and it is very very low for just 10 minutes anyway, even though you make 100k% per year, that would be 2% for 10 minutes, think about how little that is in the crypto world, crypto currencies change 2% in an hour, so it is not really that big of a deal to make that much and this wasn't even close to that neither. What people should do is look at the long term. With these type of farming profits, we are investing into something that will give us some returns plus it has its own price.

So we need to decide is the return worth the investment, and will the price go up. If we are going to get 100% a year on return, but 50% drop in price that means we make nothing, those type of things are very important when you make these kind of investments.

The advantage with betfury, is for right now they are in continuous innovation with their services.
So there's hope that their price will continue to improve thru time. That's what people are holding onto.
With the passive income offering, you are relying that the platform will do their best to find ways how to increase their value in the market.
Because we have seen a lot of staking/farming platforms, offering high APR but people forgot to check the decline of their value, so the high APR is useless.
As long as betfury can attract gamblers and make them active bettors, there's hope that their price will further increase.
Should keep up with their promotions and other bonus programs to sustain the interest of these players.
3077  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: August 09, 2021, 08:28:45 PM
It says "resolved" but I do not know what that means? I mean did they voided all the bets? Or did they end up crediting for "winners" or took money from "losers"? This was an extraordinary case where an athlete literally stopped participating, she did it for 2 things but all the rest she just withdraw herself.
Futuur has resolved the bet as a winning/losing one. They hadn't voided any bets. Previously I said about it here. Simone Biles participated in two events. Maybe that's the main reason for not counting the bet as void. BTW, I just noticed that Futuur have added a bet filter option. It's not working perfectly yet. Probably they are testing the filter now. And it will be helpful for user if they add ‘Starting/Ending Soon’ filter in sports market.

Futuur should be more visible here in their thread so players will have more trust on their platform.
They already gained momentum before as they conducted their campaign.
Sometimes their active presence here will assure their bettors that they will not disappear.
They have unique type of betting system that's why they have the advantage from other sportsbooks or betting platforms.
I hope they will use their advantage to attract more bettors in this community. Maybe run some contests to revive the interest.
3078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 09, 2021, 06:04:43 PM
Investment and gambling is different, also the word "gamble" is a very broad word to begin with. I guess the right term to use when you're using your money in an investment is "risking" and not "gambling" your money because you put it in a game to earn money.

The other way to determine the difference between NFT games and gambling is that NFT games assures you to earn money once you started while in gambling, it is the complete opposite.

NFT games who offered Play to Earn set up indeed gives you that opportunities, once you started you'll received  amount of compensation,

while in gambling if luck is not on your side it will going to get the money out from your pocket without
any way to recover it unless you'll try again and put more money on it.

Both have risk but if you think wiser investing with NFT games might have some good edge as hypes really bringing
this assets to the next level inside crypto industry.

As long as you are investing in NFT games that are really worthwhile.
Some of these are just riding the hype of NFT market.
So you should know how to evaluate their real value and not just following the hype.
In this case, you are also gambling your money. Anyway, we are already gambling our money in most of our daily activities.
But it is up to you how you will assess the risk on a specific platform, which is why it is very important to know if they are really worth your time.
3079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 09, 2021, 03:27:06 PM
Really large and you can maximize your win if you bet on Manny and if he wins. I hope there's someone here that will share his experience using the site, I'm sure it is not hard to register and deposit money, but since there's a KYC, then probably that's another thing, someone has to be willing to submit their information will only have a chance to gamble here.

That was really a nice odds but for that .2 to .3 difference, then just stick with a crypto-betting site unless you want to comply with KYC which is a common requirement for fiat bookies.

Checking stake.com, the odds for Manny Pacquiao was now on 2.6. In a span of 2 weeks, it's playing between 2.5 to 2.6 which is already a good pick to consider.

The odds for Pacquiao's winning methods are also attractive. Let's see.

I feel like that 2.60 is already a gift, Pacquiao has not lost fights also after he loses against Marquez, so there's really a chance that he will win here. With that very attractive odds, I'm sure I will never regret betting on him even if he loses, but I'm hoping he will not lose.

Yeah sure if Jeff horn and Floyd Mayweather bout doesn't count or are you assuming that Pacman won on both fights? I see what you are trying to point out here but he is facing a formidable and on prime boxer right now on his class, that 2.6 odds is still low considering the current condition of both fighter. Unless its more than 3.0 odds then it is worthy a risk but I rather watch the fight rather than bet on one those guys.

He forgets to look at the fight record of Pacquiao here https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/6129. That loss against Floyd Mayweather Jr was pretty convincing but not on Jeff Horn's loss as the world called it a robbery in daylight, it was clear that Manny won but the judges favors their own fighter.

And look at what happened to Horn's career despite of "winning" over Pacquiao?
Still he doesn't get the same popularity of what Pacquiao has now. That bout was really a robbery.
Anyway, if you read this thread, a lot are still rooting for Pacquiao and so am I.
I am betting on him but not too big. Just to spice up my excitement of watching this match.
It is like I've been watching him for so long, I already feel so old and yet, he is still fighting inside the ring.

3080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do poker and sports betting skills correlate? on: August 09, 2021, 01:32:01 PM
What are your thoughts on this, guys?
The "sample size" is too small for the "survey"  Wink

Absolutely!

However, If these people bets on any sports regularly and play poker regularly as well, then they will of course have a high chance of winning in both fields of gambling.
Sports betting requires a totally different analysis techniques than reading your opponents card when playing poker.
I somehow believe in the field of expertise. Once you're a good gambler it tends to be  you're good at every gambling activities that catches your interest.

I don't see any correlation as well. It just happen that those users are active in both sports betting and poker.
If they have long years of experience in those aspects of gambling, would be no surprise if they excel in those games.
Also, if they try different sports, which they are not very familiar of, I don't think they will get it right.
Sportsbetting needs at least knowledge of the teams involved and their performance, so you are not betting blindly.
