The forum is managed in the US but hosted in Japan. Wonder what the legality is of complying with Subpoenas. There is probably also a Fed or NSA geek already monitoring and mirroring this board.
Try again: http://whois.domaintools.com/50.97.137.52Hosted at Softlayer in Dallas. Whois protected by a canadian company. Interesting. I thought I saw a whois and/or read discussion that bitcoin.org talk was hosted by Tibanne Co. Ltd?? Has that changed recently?

Did you see those white framed glasses?
(he's 17). Zhou. I'm just kidding. It ok if you are gay. But not if you are the master hacker. I hope you are keeping notes. This will make a great book when you get out of jail.

Also, I've discovered a potential security issue with Mt. Gox's Google Auth OTP. I alerted support last week. I'm waiting to see if they respond.

This is implemented in more mature sites, like Perfect Money and Liberty Reserve. Have they experienced any major hacks? I don't know. I think it's easier to to launch a warhead then it is to log in to liberty reserve.
We need current and future bitcoin business to mature.
It is also like fraud at fiat banks and credit card companies. They expect a certain amount of fraud and write it off and until the pain of writing it off become greater then increasing the security practices.
As long as they are making money and clients use they services there will be little change.

You may be or have been a victim of identity theft. Sounds like some was using or was trying to use your social. Or there records are just inaccurate. I do agree that I see Dwolla becoming a less profitable paypal and will probably be purchased by another financial institution in a year or two if this mobile eCommerce craze continues.

This is just like any good train wreck or bad traffic accident. Everyone is rubbernecking because this is where all the drama is. However there are a lot of smart and talented people doing incredible and useful and helpful things in the community, fortunately, they don't spend their days reading and analyzable and responding to every post in some of these sections.
But as someone said, this is better then cable television.

Yes we do have info to initiate a small claim. I also have back up of his websites, and Bitcoin talk posts. Yes I live in his jurisdiction and I would be glad to file the claim on behalf any interested parties and even front the $15.00 filing fee.
This is a civil means and often used method to collect a debt from an individual or a business.

Thanks for your response Burtw. I'd be curious to hear from others. I spoke with Paypal today and I would told that he never responded to their inquires about the authenticity of my payment. This seems to contradict his statements that he was actively involved in discussions with paypal. An update from Bitman would be appreciated as well.
