3061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: October 08, 2019, 06:18:55 PM
Recover all previous losses? Add some profit? I don't think it is that easy. There are many gamblers that lost in gambling and winning once just can't recover your losses. If that is just how it works a lot of gamblers would just gamble all over again not worrying about the losses they can get.
Indeed it is not easy, but at least it will replace the defeat that always accepts defeat, and defeat will be a lesson in playing gambling to be more careful and will be motivated to win and nothing is impossible, because the more you continue to play it will definitely get a chance victory to get a big win and that's where you will be tested whether you will continue to play and eventually lose it all or you stop when you win big.
It’s really when I see people talk about how difficult it is to let go of a loss and I can’t but wonder why. The truth is that what is gone is already gone and nothing can be done to bring it back. Maybe just me, but I never think about a loss once it is gone because I know that would not bring it back anyways.

I am grateful for the kind of mind I have in gambling, especially the heart of not remembering loses because if I was the type of gambler that remembers loses, and I would probably be heartbroken, shattered and discouraged by now since what I have made as profit so far is not enough to even recover the loss. In my opinion, with or without profit been made, losses should not be remembered and of course I would forget all my loses when I hit a jackpot definitely lol.
3062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoin casino bankroll on: October 08, 2019, 05:36:29 PM
actually i have read about investments in bankrolls but i have no idea at all,but now since theres this thread i may have some time to read and learn.

0.01btc is not that big to start investing in one of the reliable gambling sites in this forum as dogecoinmachine is one responsible owner and very accurate and specific on how hes sites works

considering to put some bitcoins when i read and understand the whole process, and to OP better do the same so lets be a cryptogames investors soon
I guess it is really very interesting and with the look of things we might all be porting to investment, although the profit involved is still not as much as gambling directly but what is more important is safety.

The problem I see with gambling is that many of us are not really skilled enough, we just start gambling because of the money involved and because we have heard stories of those who have hit jackpot and we didn’t take our time to learn and this is the reason we experience loses. I don’t want to accept that any successful gambler would choose investment over playing for money because what they make from gambling is far much greater than the peanuts we get paid for investing.
3063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin already won ? on: October 08, 2019, 04:34:20 PM
Bitcoin has its own qualities and it is never gold 2.0.  I don't really think majority of people in the crypto space have taken their time to read the entire contain of Bitcoin's whitepaper. The reason why the value of Bitcoin has increased with the pass of time is the increase inn the demand of it. Once the demand of something increases, the value of it also increases in proportion to the demand. Bitcoin is just digital money and not gold 2.0
If adoption rate can increase, then it is possible that bitcoin actually pass for Gold 2.0 because like you said, the more the demand of bitcoin, the more that it appreciate and this is also the case of gold too, so bitcoin can still be held as store of value right now, just like the way people do hold gold believing that its value will increase.

The adoption rate of bitcoin is still very low, and if at this level of adoption, the price has already crossed over $7000, now imagine what the value will be in future when we have high growth of adoption. I don't know the percentage of adoption right now, but I am sure that it is still not up to 10 percent off the whole population. The market cap of bitcoin will still enter trillions definitely as we have more demand, so to me, bitcoin is more like gold right now.
3064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think Bitcoins biggest vulnerability is? on: October 08, 2019, 03:44:12 PM
What do you think Bitcoins biggest vulnerability is?
Technically, I really don’t see any, but fundamentally, I think they are the enemies around, the financial institutions, the banks and the government, as these are the people that bitcoin is really against for now, although not completely against them, but not okay with the financial services that they render to most of their people.

We have some governments that would do everything possible to actually make bitcoin to be less used, presently now, there is nothing that they can do again in the aspect of cryptocurrency, and they know they cannot generally control it, so the only way which some of them has been doing is to create their own national currency, and even with their national currency, there is still little chance of people using it because it is a centralized currency unlike bitcoin which a decentralized one.
3065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Alt Portfolio on: October 06, 2019, 07:38:07 PM
My altcoin portfolio includes such coins as Bnb, BTZC, Btt, Trx
80% of this is okay as I have most of the coins that you listed here except the BTZC which I really don’t know much about, but for bnb and trx, I believe that these are one of the main coins that will have more profit in future, but I don't think they are enough to make you rich, though I don't know the amount that you have committed in those coins, but I think that there are still some coins that should be in your portfolio, especially most of the coins that are within the top 50, because this is where the riches really lies, aside those coins that have lower than the market cap of $20 million dollars.

These coins have the ability to give you up to 20x as they were the coin that really made me rich during the last ICO boom. I remember that I once invested in a coin with $1000 which I got $15k in return.
3066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin price increase after successful halving of block reward., thoughts. on: October 06, 2019, 05:10:21 PM
But not now, litecoin price has gone to around $50++. I think litecoin halving were not affecting the price too much.
The miners who mine litecoin need to calculate their profit because the reward has been halved and the price still low.
I believe that it is well with some of these top coins that we have trusted to bring up something that will make the market very lively again, I did suspect that there was not going to be any improvement because of the enthusiasm of people that was not so much about Litecoin halving when the news broke, there was not much expectation of it and from then was when I knew we may not really have much effect of it.

The bear this period is really strong that majority of the factors that would have really led to the outbreak of some of these coins are not just having much effect. This was how majority of us expected that the release of the bakkt after so much anticipation would affect bitcoin, but till now, nothing to really show for it that much and I am so surprised that top coins are really struggling too much to rise again.
3067  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: October 06, 2019, 04:37:44 PM
How many players one place has doesn't showcase how much they profit. There are tons of stuff like how much those players gamble in total and how much the costs are. Revenue minus costs equals profits, we have literally neither of those numbers, we don't know their revenue, we don't know their costs, which means we don't know their profits.

Just because we know there are new players or old players with new names or how much certain players wagered doesn't mean we know the full picture. Long story short we really need to find out a lot more about bitdice operational finances in order to claim if they can continue operations for years or not, since they don't need to publish such personal information, we will never know how great they are doing ourselves.

We know you guys want us to write to your social media and your forum but I like to stay here but I would like to also write answers to your questions, I see no harm writing here, I may not get anything in return but at least it keeps the topic alive which is still a good thing for primedice I suppose.

My vip is going slower than I imagined, I don't know how long it will take but I will eventually reach there, I only gamble a bit time to time because there has been other websites with different games that peaked my interest so it got slower, you are to blame on some of that because stake is great so I kinda gamble there more than primedice nowadays Cheesy I got no rakeback of course as well and I prefer to play with either bitcoin or doge, when I gamble bitcoin it is for serious gambling, when I gamble doge it is just to have fun a bit and I accept to lose all of it right away for a quick fun.
3069  Economy / Speculation / Re: 20% price drop 7 months before the May 2020 halving? on: October 06, 2019, 08:23:04 AM
there is no guarantee that things that happened in the past months or years can also be happening next year in almost identical manner but  data we can gather from the past can be serving as a guide on probabilities and that is why we can be creating some models. It is like predicting the future based on the past though again there is no formula that can exactly tell us what can be though this is much better than to just wildly guess the possible outcome. We have to always remember though that Bitcoin has this habit of being unpredictable at times so we should not be shocked to see some good and even bad surprises along the way leading to the scheduled having in 2020.
The thing that I just know is that every year of bitcoin is always better than the previous year, so I am not afraid of bitcoin tomorrow, provided that I don’t invest at peak period, then all these fluctuations that we see now are just child's, play, when the real bull run comes, we will see less of decrease and more of an increase in the value of bitcoin and in the value of our investment.

I do not even stress myself predicting bitcoin since I am not much of a regular trader, I buy bitcoin when it’s down and then hold till there is news of bull run when I can decide to sell my coin at the goal price that I have set for myself. The bull run of bitcoin will come, there is absolutely no doubt about that, we just need to keep our fingers crossed and keep watching as things really would unfold.
3070  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bull run on: October 06, 2019, 07:51:51 AM
Most traders still expect more dump before purchase, you will be surprised the amount of order placed between $5000-7000 by traders. Most times some investors predict this price they usually get there, I dont know how. There are possibilities we might still see slight dump if the price stays at $8000 in couple of weeks .
Before we can also conclude on this value that we predict bitcoin will dump to, we also need to look at the amount of sell order that is being placed on a particular figure and I can see people selling their coin right now. Before the value if bitcoin plunged, there was already a rumor of some sort of big whale moving about 1 billion dollars to another exchange, it was at that point I knew that someone wants to do a cash pout, and shortly after them was when bitcoin plunge which made it look like it was an effect from the launch of bakkt.

If bitcoin would lunge further, there would surely be a sign of it already, don’t mind those whales that has placed buy order down around $5k, no matter the panic that they cause they will never get their wish done.
3071  Economy / Economics / Re: How did the Bakkt launch go? Quick recap on: October 05, 2019, 04:39:12 PM
Sadly, the Bakkt launch became the biggest contributing factor to the recent and still continuing dip of Bitcoin. Or to be specific, it is the fact that Bakkt failed to get the expected volume of transactions which many assumed can be an avalanche but turned to be a dud. It tanked. It bombed. And then it pushed Bitcoin downward.

I read in this article, that there seems to be a similarity with what happened to the IPO launch of Facebook back in 2012 where we saw that days after the said event the value nose-dived significantly losing as much as 50% of its value but right now things are going right.

In other words, there can still be a hope for Bakkt and maybe what we are seeing now are just birth pains and that they can eventually avoid the fate of the Bitcoin futures. Otherwise, this can mean that the market is not really that ready for a platform like Bakkt...maybe we can say right platform, right product but introduced at the wrong section of history.
I don't believe this, if the trade volume on bakkt was much, I could say that it was actually as a result of bakkt and being that they were just released, bakkt only traded 7 btc when they started and that was when the market plunged, how is 7 btc supposed to actually have any positive or any negative effect on the price of bitcoin, to me, I think it was just a coincidence, something else must have happened that probably made bakkt look devilish to people.

We might have some whales that has actually been waiting for the right time to exit the market, and probably hid under the bakkt release. It got to a point when I could never link the release of bakkt to the current condition of bitcoin that I started thinking it could be a setup for those who wishes to crash bitcoin, but thank God that the value is going up again now.
3072  Economy / Economics / Re: Ethereum managed to pass bitcoin in transaction fees last week on: October 05, 2019, 03:49:55 PM
So is this good news or bad news for Bitcoin? So which is better, low fees or high fees?
Ethereum will migrate to POS, so why do we even talk about this mining stuff?
I think it serves as both, because for Ethereum transaction fee to have been higher than that of bitcoin, it means that there was more traffic on Ethereum network, but bad news in the sense that Ethereum does not need high fee right now as it will give chance for other coins to be tested or people will eventually still go back to bitcoin, but for a selfish person like me, I think that there network fee should be high and then discourage a lot of people from Ethereum because I am not much happy with the way Ethereum is going abuts their ICO.

They introduced ICO to us and they are the ones that is making lots of investors fall victim of scammer through their creation. Bitcoin is still the only reliable platform and we all need to go back to using bitcoin more.
3073  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: October 05, 2019, 12:49:41 PM
I wonder why people complain the most for things that are literally FREE. Every day people talk about faucets online and rain in the casinos I play in and I wonder, they get these things for free but they spend so much time asking for more.
I think it has a connection with the real life casinos giving away free stuff. I know they don't do it for the small timers (and even some places give away free drinks to any gambler who sits on any table) so people expect the online places to be like that as well. Don't forget that casinos are built to take your money away, so whatever you do to make that money back is fair game in peoples eyes and if one casino offers more free stuff than the other then they will go there.

So, every single online casino in the world is racing with each other on free stuff, deposit bonuses, promotions and many other stuff like rakebacks and all that. Whoever gives the most free stuff will get the customer but you also have to be trustworthy as well. Fortunejack is trustworthy because it has been around since the year 1814 Cheesy so all there is left is complain about the free stuff.
3074  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: October 05, 2019, 09:26:01 AM
I think @hosseinimr93 meant that btc would be 1.05 and lambo would be 9x or something. Because, everyone would wager that winner will ask for btc. There must be a very few people who would take a huge car that would create troubles shipping, trouble with taxes, trouble with licenses, trouble with checkups and trouble with god knows what other stuff and would cost you a ton even before it arrives over something that is literally just one click to your bank account.

Now, I am not saying there aren't people like that, when lambo was first offered there were people who said they would, some people are car lovers who have bunch of cars, but looking at the possibilities I would say 99% chance winner would get the bitcoin and withdraw right away to get a much much better life.
3075  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Viber, WhatsApp, skype, WeChat, Snapchat, IMO, Line not conduct ICO? on: October 04, 2019, 05:34:26 PM
Why would they conduct an ICO if they already have the means and the audience? I think this doesn’t make much sense. It is much easier to create a new product that will be useful for users of this platforms.
It is enough for such projects to create a currency within their platforms so that users would gladly buy it. The question here is the advisability of creating such a currency.
As I said, ICO makes sense for new projects that need primary capitalization for their own implementation.
The OP ought to have even know this before asking this question, except he does not know how big the company he mentioned are, when Facebook wanted to make their intent of creating Libra coin known, it started form the fund raising they did and nobody knew about it except few people who had gotten the hint that they did so internally and till date, I learnt they generated lots of billions of dollars without the input of external people, so I wonder why a company that succeeded in doing that and already have the large user database to make their project successful would conduct ICO again.

ICO mainly are for some of these startup companies who are unknown and do not have much money to establish their project, while all these companies are very big companies to even buy the whole of the cryptocurrency market off.
3076  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should move to BTC? on: October 04, 2019, 04:52:36 PM
From the market situation and performance of coins so far, I will rather hold bitcoin than having a centralized coin like XRP that is centralized, XRP has not been performing well lately despite all the HYIPs around it.
Besides it even being a centralized coin, they don’t have community that is as strong as bitcoin to continue to promote their project and keep the market lively. One of the reasons why bitcoin came out of bear market easily and became lively was because it has lots of very strong communities that are wealthy and backing the project up, and also communities that are using the coin for payment purpose.

If you see most of the projects that we have today, their community is behind them because they are using it as investment and they feel that it is something they could get very high profit from, but unfortunately, coin like ripple has been more of disappointment to people than their usefulness. It is a very wrong decision to make ripple one's choice at this time.
3077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigerian crypto educator returns $80k in bitcoin recieve by mistake. on: October 04, 2019, 04:15:24 PM
There are good people everywhere, not just in Nigeria. But such news gives me hope in humanity
I guess the reason why the news made it is just because Nigerians is s country with both rich and poor people. But the number of people living in abject poverty is much more than people that are living well, and I think this is the reason why it is surprising that amidst all the financial challenges that everyone in the country is passing through, someone could still deemed fit to return such huge amount of money.

We have good people everywhere which I agree which you but poverty has made some Africans become so heartless and cruel to humanity, if not for poverty, Nigerians are one of the best people that you can ever come across with because they are very nice and hardworking. To some level, you can actually trust them because I have had dealings with some of them.
3078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin mixers be considered illegal by worldwide governments? on: October 04, 2019, 03:37:07 PM
I don't like this mixer idea. It really does help in money laundry and all illegal stuff.
From my view, it should be illegal.

But, this isn't irrelevant. When some one want to take his money to laundry, he wouldn't care about the law enforcement. This existed before btc and mixers and will stay the same way.
I personally don’t support it too because it will end up making the real bitcoin look like it is the one being used for illegal and unlawful transactions, people will not hold the mixer itself., but it is the currency that the government would blame for making illegal activities financially become high.

Bitcoin already has some level of privacy and I feel that is enough so that government can still have some spaces to be able to go after those who are using the cryptocurrency system for bad activities like scamming, money laundry, defrauding of people and many more. But with this mixer, any transaction that it is being used for is kind of close off the radar forever and the government may never be able to track down any illegal activities reported to them.
3079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What does the future holds for crypto? on: October 04, 2019, 02:57:43 PM
The crypto market has always been in the media a lot this year, so it's safe to say that this market will certainly affect the economy in the future. If people know more about this market, the investment demand will increase very high and we can fully earn a good profit. Now the market is still very young and there is a lot of potential for price increases so investing is now a good choice for your profits. Bitcoin is currently at $8200 and I believe that in the next few years, this coin could reach $30,000
There is need for massive adoption if bitcoin will grow to that price, but since we are not all using crypto much for payment now, we need people to believe in bitcoin as an asset, and presently, it seems like the people we have still revolve round the market are people that are already established in the system and there is need for more people to come into the market, I mean people that are not familiar with cryptos at all, if we can get influx of people like we got in 2017.

We will probably get to that value, but for us to see this happen, our campaign needs to go out for bitcoin alone, because most people we talk to here are people that already know about crypto, so there is need for us to look for more people in the external world to invest in bitcoin.
3080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins With an Actual Working Product on: October 04, 2019, 09:04:46 AM
If you came to see a list you're not going to.. yet.

I am looking for input on various altcoins that actually have a working product. No vaporware or promised products. Only altcoins that have something working RIGHT NOW.

Please leave some comments with what you know of but be sure to link to something with substance in your post. Proof of a working product or service that is actual being used. No prototypes, no pilots, etc. This will be turned in to a nice list once more information is gathered. Doing some searching myself at the moment.
Which altcoin would I guarantee that it has real working product other than the top 10 altcoins that we have in the market except ripple, although ripple too to an extent has real working products but the manipulation in it is quite too much and I don’t rely much on coin that are being manipulated too much, so if you are looking for a real working product to use for whatever you wish to use it for, I think that you should not look much beyond those remaining 9 within the top 10 coins.

We still have some few projects anyway that qualifies for this too, but they do not have much volume again, like IOTA, NEO and some other ones that were once reigning.   the best of them is still Bitcoin, and if you see bitcoin, you will see that it fits in everywhere.
