3061  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] TU.SILVER -- News & Reports on: June 26, 2013, 07:34:04 AM
It's unfair to compare BTC-BOND with TU.SILVER. BTC-BOND is personal debt - it won't go up or down, whereas TU.SILVER is not.
3062  Other / Meta / Re: Gambling section on: June 26, 2013, 06:39:14 AM
I won't call it a spam list of random casinos. There's plenty of newly created ones, but there are also quite a few established casinos.
3063  Other / Meta / Re: forum policy on LTC, Ripple and other crypto currencies? question to mods on: June 25, 2013, 05:17:06 PM
No, but you'll have people literally selling coins that were made earlier. Take a look at BTCTalkAccounts and what he is doing.

"Selling Terracoin! Qualifies for a subforum so you can easily pump'n'dump!"
3064  Other / Meta / Re: forum policy on LTC, Ripple and other crypto currencies? question to mods on: June 25, 2013, 04:04:33 PM
Certain criteria cannot be agreed. You need to understand that whatever criteria there is, it will encourage certain kinds of behavior.

Age?
Simple, people will rush to announce as much coins as earliest they can, leading to buggy and crashing code.

Hashpower?
Coin will be focused on early mining to push it over whatever criteria was set. Early adopter's heaven.

Oh and this is forgetting coins without mining won't ever get a board? What about pure PoS coins? What about ripple? what about proof of movement coins?
3065  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] G.MPOE Pass Through on: June 25, 2013, 03:55:08 PM
Cool. Issue more G.MPOE please (backed by real shares of course Smiley)
3066  Other / Meta / Re: forum policy on LTC, Ripple and other crypto currencies? question to mods on: June 25, 2013, 03:36:21 PM
It's not an endorsement of a specific alt coin. It would be like if in the securities section, there was an ASICMINER subboard.
3067  Other / Meta / Re: forum policy on LTC, Ripple and other crypto currencies? question to mods on: June 25, 2013, 03:24:01 PM
We already have 'Alternate cryptocurrencies' - people seem to be making out it's a huge leap to add a sub-forum for Litecoin or any other currency that warrants it. It's really not.
It is actually, because it's an official endorsement unless there are 400 subforums added for any coin.

In a community this size, especially a religious one with people being fanboys of their favorite cryptocoin they were early adopters of, you will piss people off if you set a criteria. The better solution would be to not set it in the first place, and again, this is bitcointalk, not cryptocurrencytalk.
3068  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: June 25, 2013, 12:13:08 PM
Wow, again ,droop to 14% .,,I am waiting for panic selling ....

3070  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: June 25, 2013, 11:02:58 AM
Blockchain.info,

You should integrate a better Bitcoin message signing format! The current one is clunky, requires copy and pasting multiple pieces of information, and is hard to find out the start / end:

Quote
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Signed by Inputs.io on 25/06/13 07:50:30

This is a signed message generated by Inputs.io

-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
1MDeZptpVfaNemwoSpeeph2P1UgHuQM62m
IIW/rq62ip/MtTSZbCZSdoQSkJKeWPyp6yJ1MxQFhzfmMlnSib1QUsYt8FOMYw9zzr4BnLfPM/0bIlPVDiKVE6U=
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

It's quite simple. the 1MDeZ... is the address, the IIW/rq is the message signature of everything between "-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----" and "-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----" after trimming whitespace or newline at the start and the end.

API request... a "signmessage" function, please?

Oops, sorry for threadjacking, but Inputs.io does expose this through our API. Stay tuned Smiley

I hope bitfountain is having alerts ringing..
3073  Other / Meta / Re: forum policy on LTC, Ripple and other crypto currencies? question to mods on: June 25, 2013, 10:02:12 AM
You are going to have a cut off line through. Why should some arbitrary criteria decide what's "real" and what is "scam"?

Best solution would be.. bitcointalk.
3074  Economy / Lending / Re: Lending Website on: June 25, 2013, 09:59:49 AM
If you are interested, I'm happy to do a code review for you and point out any bugs / security issues / etc for a link to CoinLenders.com
3075  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders :: Get bitcoin loans, and earn interest on your deposits! on: June 25, 2013, 09:59:07 AM
Done.

You now need to enter the CAPTCHA *or* 2FA.

Any way to enable 2FA as a dumb phone user?  I'd love to have this feature, but I don't have a smart phone.
We'd have to do that through SMS, and that would be a bit of a pain to set up.

You could save this http://gauth.apps.gbraad.nl/ locally to your computer through.
3076  Other / Meta / Re: forum policy on LTC, Ripple and other crypto currencies? question to mods on: June 25, 2013, 09:32:16 AM
ShitCoinv2 has changed more than Litecoin. Remember, Litecoin was a 5 line or so change from Tenebrix or whatever.

I consider PPCoin to be a "real" coin, so does Namecoin, whatever, but what if they're excluded?
