3061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 03, 2022, 01:51:29 PM
By the way, the question about money is quite interesting. Of course Mike Tyson doesn't need money like regular people, but he's not rich enough either (at least based on his sports earnings). I remember how he parted with Don King with scandal and said that all his money had slipped through his fingers, and such dealers as Don King made millions on him. Now in one fight he can earn as much as he used to earn in several championship fights. Why refuse it? I do not understand.

I don't understand either why Mike refused to fight Logan Paul, I also don't believe that Mike isn't after the money he can make if the fight were to happen because he's not that financially wealthy. I really think there's some hidden issues (maybe health) that Mike doesn't want the people to know about him.

An associate of Tyson’s said the former boxer and  Paul, 25, were in “advanced talks” to headline a nearly $50 million pay-per-view fight.
Source: https://www.forbes.com/sites/marisadellatto/2022/01/17/no-mike-tyson-is-not-fighting-jake-paul-representative-says/?sh=7f3e8c1d2cf7

This article was published 2 weeks ago by Forbes, however they meant JAKE PAUL here but it's clear that they've been talking about money. So, now tell me if Mike Tyson was indeed not going after the money Huh

As the proverb says: whatever the conversation is about, it is about money  Grin And I don’t consider the version about the danger of health for Tyson real - even if he has some problems, then given the status of the fight - the show, you can agree in advance with your opponent about the absence of dangerous actions.

Let's keep it simple, the fact that Tyson agrees to fight a younger fighter, means he himself believes that he will not get harmed if he loses he can take the punches of his opponent and he believes in himself that he can beat Paul in the fight. However, since it's an exhibition fight, I don't want to overreact, instead, I will just consider that things could be scripted.
3062  Economy / Gambling / Re: NITROGEN SPORTS | safe. anonymous. the future of betting. ✅💰 on: February 03, 2022, 01:26:51 PM
My, how the reputation has sunk. Nitrogen was once the bee's knees for crypto gambling, but today it's a disaster.

I'd say stay away there are much better options in today's age

You can check the reputation based on the feedback here ; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=88706

Well, to be honest, although there are negative feedback already regarding the site but I'm still using the site as Nitrogensports is one of the oldest sportsbook in crypto,  but of course, I'm not as confident as before.
3063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto is going to replace the dollar? Jack: Yes, Bitcoin will on: February 02, 2022, 11:31:21 PM
Bitcoin will never replace the dollar, but it can become a real currency with at least something secured, unlike all other currencies. After all, they (currencies) are issued by central banks and even private banks (as in the USA) for their national purposes. Bitcoin is untied from national borders, so in the future it will keep the dollar company on the financial "Olympus" - this is obvious to many today.

I don't think btc will replace the dollar in our lifetime. As it is decentralized, the government can't have the full control of its circulation. And most governments prefer to have control with their financial system. Some may adopt it as legal tender like El Salvador but I don't think we will come to the point that btc or crypto will replace the dollar in the international market. I like the optimistic view here but we need to be realistic with our outlook on this matter.
The majority had never thought it will replace and I think that was right.
Jack could be a known person in the community but he is not known as a fortune-teller. What he does is just his own market insights and like based on his imagination where is going fan of it but that never comes to reality.

Well, I just thinking what gonna happen to the third-world countries that have no internet connection and those people who don't have the capacity to buy gadgets?
3064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: February 02, 2022, 11:04:25 PM
Looking at the market now with different illustration about the current position, condition of the market from analysis, many crypto traders are coming out with there different analysis of where the market tend to go in the next few days. Some keeps agitating that the trend is still bearish while others come out with various technical analysis of the market, drawing different trendlines to show the support resistance of the coming bull.

They have their own opinion and market analysis, and even you OP have different as well. Ain't that confusing for me for as long as we are following the trend unless we don't. But yeah, upon seeing the market chart we are also in doubt where it goes, we can't see which part has been stronger now either the support level or resistance.

But anyway, I was in the fact that the volatility of the market makes things unpredictable and no expert could tell about it. That is why we shouldn't have to be confused what is the direction of the trend as surely it's still unpredictable.
3065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 02, 2022, 12:56:36 PM

Right, just shows how deep the Warriors are, even without their biggest players, someone step up like Jordan Poole, those 2 rookies and even D. Lee.

And that's what you love on Poole, he knows when to contribute if he is given minutes. And when Steph and Klay is back, he simply as just another option but he can deliver if needed.

It only shows how well the system Warriors have, star-less but managed to win with the help come from their young rookies.

They are ready taking their shots each time coach calls for them and allows them to play inside the court. A kind of gesture
a good player needs to have bringing out the best to pay the trust the management gave them after being hired to be part of the team.
You mentioned Poole and yes; he did his job well producing the lift that the team needs to win this game.

They can play well even without the superstar, that's the kind of team that is built by real teamwork, and they trust each other so everyone knows their roles in the game. Honestly, I wasn't expecting that they can beat the Spurs on the road without Curry and some other starters, but look what they did, they surprise us and they deserve the credit.
3066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 02, 2022, 12:28:56 PM
Some good news to Filipino boxing fans out there. Seems like Casimero will be heading to MP Promotions again if things will be okay with him and Sean Gibbons. We can't deny the fact that Quadro Alas is one of the most popular boxer in the Philippines right now because of his antics and boxing style, also the personality and we can say that he is one of a kind so MPP should have him back as Casimero might be their cash cow in the next few years.

Quote
MP Promotions President Sean Gibbons is reportedly trying to patch things up with WBO world bantamweight champion John Riel Casimero before the Filipino’s next fight against Paul Butler on April 23 at a yet to be determined venue in Liverpool, England.

The President itself is the one who is trying to patch things with Quadro Alas? What a special person Casimero is.  He should accept that right away as working under the MP promotions might give him more opportunities to fight a big fish.

Casimero's camp should not just target Inoue if the latter doesn't have any interest. Let alone the Japanese Champion to come to him. Casimero and most fans here following him should not push for that fight against Inoue like we are the one who is hungry to make that happen. Let's see some effort too on Inoue's side.

If that's the case then Casimero should accept and sign the contract at once, he's already that lucky because Sean Gibbons himself is making some efforts and extending his hands just to get Casimero under the MP Promotion's roof. Besides, MP Promotions is the best choice for a Philippine boxer to get a chance to fight bigger names in the industry.

Casimero should focus on this fight first because time will come that Inoue and his team will be the one who'll make some efforts to make the fight happen, for now ofcourse Inoue isn't interested because Casimero ain't a big name in the industry.

It's not possible that Inoue will come to Casimero and will challenge him for a fight if he believes that Casimero has a decent chance of beating him. He is under top rank promotion who is handled by a smart and clever Bob Arum, so I don't think it would work that way.
3067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear is not Real. on: February 01, 2022, 11:46:21 PM
Fear of missing out and fear, uncertainty and doubt are not only words that is associated to cryptocurrency alone.
These are words that is associated to human behaviour. It is what human being does even before cryptocurrency came to exist.
Now that it has find meaning in cryptocurrency, it means it will remain in the system as long as human being is in cryptocurrency.
Humans are full of uncertainty and fear. Fear of not hodling and fear of missing out.
And everyone had carried that kind of behavior, it was just about to happen that some people were will able to control it. But we can never think that we can control to the fullest as normally, being a human being will feel that.

This is how the system works and besides, FEAR had something to do with the market and this even make it more volatile. In fact, FEAR has a huge influence on decision-making, and this is sometimes a cause of our losses. Whether we like it or not, FEAR will exist on us and we can't rid it out no matter what we do.
3068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tell us about the best altcoin in the current situation. on: February 01, 2022, 11:13:11 PM
Looking at the current state of the market, there are many potential altcoins that we can invest in, let alone a decrease then we can get maximum profits later, if you have large capital then invest in some coins that can indeed promise for the future such as polkadot, solana, matic and bnb then from the coin you can choose which is more convincing to get profits.
Well, I see that the market is turning red once again. Trying to catch the red light before the market is totally becoming green is the best thing to do. Well, buying the leading coins is still the best choice, we can't deny that these coins will recover first than the others. I understand that ETH has been rejected by many investors because of the fees but this coin is still on the top of all altcoins that have a huge market gaining portential.
3069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 01, 2022, 12:33:25 PM
I'm really excited to see the return of PBA.

If you are aware of my post before, I like to follow Blackwater's journey on achieving every loss record on their game.

With the return of the PBA, I'm expecting they will establish a new record again as the team with the most losses in history. They should keep it up as that's a unique record that won't be break-even we count for at least 5 years. Agree?

That record would continue with the way things are shaping up for Blackwater with regards to this unrestricted free agent rule. Rashawn McCarthy and William McAloney have entered the free agency and refused to sign with the Bossings thus leaving them more helpless when the games resume hehe.

I agree, this record will be hard to break but hopefully the PBA do some actions to solve this kind of problem which affects also the entire PBA in term of viewership as most fans will watch only the strong teams play.

That's the result of the big teams manipulating the system, they get the best players and leave a farm team a bunch of nobodies. There's nothing they can do to improve if they don't change the system, unless they are willing to rig games to give the blackwater a chance to win.
3070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 01, 2022, 11:16:41 AM
I think Mike Tyson would rather have another exhibition fight against a former professional boxer/former champion, instead of wasting time with Paul brothers. That will be more interesting and competing, than just participating in youtube boxing drama.

Btw, Paul brothers dont show much interest in their fight too. They dont "heat up" the situation around the fight. I think because they and their promotors are not interested in their loss. Who would watch their next fight if they lost to a professional boxer? They have proved that a pro beats amateur and there is no interest in next fight. The book is over.

So you are saying that Paul Brothers just want to ensure a win? Jake Paul is undefeated, I get it, but Logan Paul is not, he loses to Mayweather in his last fight, and yet he is still hype in the exhibition world of boxing. I guess the most important here is the "money", if both agrees to the purse, then most likely nothing can stop this fight.
3071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tell us about the best altcoin in the current situation. on: January 31, 2022, 09:47:50 PM
The market has been going downhill for some time now. In order to get the best return in such a situation, which altcoin should we invest in that gives us the maximum benefit?
For the moment my recommendation is that you stay away from altcoins,  I know that people want to recover the money they have lost due to the most recent correction as fast as they possibly can, but you need to let the market to recover a little bit more before you can think of something like that, I know this is probably not what you want to hear but this is precisely why you need to be incredibly patient because when the market is behaving like this is when people make the mistakes that eventually damage their account to the point of no return.
I tend to disagree with this, many altcoins are potential and can even compete with Bitcoin in terms of profit returns. Those who are in the top 10 coins in the market are of good investment which I believe we don't waste our money and time with them. Although we think about a slow recovery but then, buying at this cheaper price and wait for the next pump is somewhat rewarded. We can't just ignore their potentiality as Bitcoin will recover, they are about to follow then.
3072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 31, 2022, 01:08:07 PM
I'm not familiar with the attitudes of the fans that are from Liverpool. But by reading the previous posts here, it says something negative and Casimero should be able to show his full blow on this match and just leave Butler with a KO. Because if it doesn't happen, there could be some biased scoring. I'm not worried about the fans, there could be some ways to mitigate that if he's also concerned about that. But about the scoring and judging, yeah, everyone's being concerned on it.
I think not just from UK, I guess in every places where you trying to fight the local boys, for sure you will not be well received by the crowd. And that's what makes this fight very interesting for Casimero as he can knock out everyone, and what will be the reaction of the (hostile) crowd if they see their boy being knock out by an Asian fighter? For sure it's gonna hurt the crowd, so Casimero should be well prepared and expect the unexpected.
The crowd already knows that their fighter is a heavy underdog, so they understand if Butler will lose in the fight. It will only hurt the crowd if they know that Butler is the favorite as they are expecting him to win, just like the fight against Tete where Tete was the favorite and it happen in their own home country.
Not everyone are bettors, so some have no idea about the betting odds, once a fighter fight in his country, the support is 100% from the fans, they are biased as they follow their emotion and they will not see even though Casimero si the champion and the better fighter.
That's true, supporters wont focus that much with the odds all they know is if their favorite player/team won they will won also and there's nothing wrong about that since there are also bet under the table I mean you can bet with your friends and that doesn't require to understand the odds. Fans will always be a fan, but seriously if you are going to bet online its really important to understand the odds because this can make you more profitable regardless of who are you betting with.
That's the basic thing to do, understanding the odds is very important, and not only that, you also have to weigh the odds if it's right or just a trap, lots of newbies does not understand that, if they see good odds they'll take it right away without thinking that it could be a trap.

Most fans uses their emotion in this fight, we bettors we used our minds.

3074  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino behavior that turn you off on: January 28, 2022, 09:13:26 PM
~snip~
Why was it OK for people to gamble at the casino when they were small.. but once they grow bigger.. it change so rapidly.? Also ....people who win big... suddenly gets scrutinized to see if they can find an excuse not to pay them.  Angry
^ I have seen many casinos like this but in terms of KYC, they are very strict when they grow up.
That is definitely right, it is really not good that behavior when the casino tried to find an excuse and encountered this personally last year and the reason I did not use that casino until now. It seems they had a loophole for their users and the opportunity not to pay especially if we don't know what is written on the TOS, additionally, it should also be better if we read the TOS.
They just simply look at their own benefits, not for the gamblers. Casinos like that would not grow anymore instead, they turn back down and gamblers will look at those casinos that give value to their players.

And talking about KYC, it was understandable as it adds security to our account and that is not a problem for me but of course, it much better to not have. But I think, what is very important is that all casinos will immediately address the concern of their players and could give such favorable solution, not just ignore us.
3075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy more so you can sell some on: January 28, 2022, 08:41:43 PM
A good strategy but must also be followed by a good coin selection too. It's useless if we buy a lot of coins but we choose the wrong coins and don't have good prospects. Although it will flow by itself because gradually we can certainly choose well coins that do have good prospects. Keep it safe and hold on to it if needed when the crypto market is in turmoil. Only we ourselves can manage and maintain assets because all control is in our hands.
for those who are doubtful about other coins then Bitcoin is the best choice to buy in the dip market as it is today...

even though it is very volatile but Bitcoin is the best and most trusted currency in the world, besides that Bitcoin has great people who support it behind it, don't be afraid to lose if you buy Bitcoin, basically when the market goes down buy and when the market is high sell if you need it or stay hodl.
Bitcoin become so volatile in the sense that it was also in high demand. It apparently keeps on moving up and down, as the demand also moving that way. However, among all the coins that exist in the market, this coin had become known for its profitability and this makes people love it and become the number 1 choice by many(probably all). Instead of accumulating shitcoins, we'd better buy more Bitcoin and we can be sure that we can get some rewards later, not regrets.
3076  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How bitcoin has employed more African youths. on: January 28, 2022, 02:41:04 PM
You’re absolutely right when it come to bitcoin improvement and benefits in Africa but I will want to know if you took you statistics in West,North, Southern or Eastern Africa. Like you said correctly that Africa is underdeveloped and poor and we all know that we can’t access bitcoin if we don’t have money.. do you think that the growth of bitcoin isn’t one sided ( only the rich in Africa that are benefiting from it).
How can the poor also benefit from bitcoin without financial support?
Rich people have huge opportunities while poor people are less fortunate, that was the sad reality. Whether which part of Africa that OP has been pointing out, all of us were still have the chance if we want to. Whether you are rich or poor, investing in Bitcoin seems a helping opportunity for all of us to improve our living.

If we are afraid of taking risks, nothing will be able to change. Even saying you are poor, you will remain in that position if you decline this thing (Bitcoin investment).
3077  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Fake app of poocoin exists in google playstore.. on: January 28, 2022, 01:54:21 PM
We don't just to wonder to see fake apps in the google play store. They are one of their targets (scammers) and it gives them business and never mind it checking which is our big concern by now. So for us who are using google playstore, we should be wise in choosing apps, even the reviews are sometimes not reliable and it was good to see that some concerned citizens like OP have the diggings and notify us.
3078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 28, 2022, 01:19:58 PM

So in this fight, if Barrios has the power and speed then he can do the say. Score a knock down and shoot for Thurman's body because that is a weak spot.

Sorry but I don't see that happening, he cannot even beat Gervonta Davis who is smaller than Thurman, how can he knock out a big guy like Thurman. Barrios still has a lot to learn in boxing, Thurman is already on the top level, if he can beat Thurman, then I would believe that one day he will be a champion in the Welterweight division.

It's not about the size, have you forgotten that Manny Pacquiao was smaller than Thurman and yet he won against him? Man, this is boxing, every boxer has an advantage and weakness and being a smaller fighter could also be use as an advantage.
3079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 28, 2022, 12:41:29 PM
@Jating, no words yet on the real score between MP Promotion and Casimero but as per Sean Gibbons' words that they are open for Casimero to go back to them, then i think Quadro Alas is not with them anymore.

Last news i've read is that Casimero has signed up with Probellum, i just don't know if this is long term or just this fight with Butler.

Yeah, that's the last thing that I've heard as well, and I was really surprised that he dump MP and Sean Gibbons to move to Probellum.

And now that we have this news that it was not totally settled with MP, maybe it will give problems for Casimero in the future. But maybe there is no communication, a simple call to Sean Gibbons might settle everything once and for all and Casimero can move on to Probellum if he wanted.

I hope everything will be fixed, Casimero is still at the peak of his career and he could not afford to lose a good promoter that will handle his future fights. He is a Filipino champion, it's just right that he should work on MP, but if his decision is to look for a better opportunity, hopefully things will not messed up.
3080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 28, 2022, 12:12:38 PM
Everyone seemed to be trusting the 76ers here to win. Well, as I always said, I still don't like the Lakers due to inconsistency, therefore I will also fade them tonight and go with the 76ers -4. Good luck everyone, let's win tonight.  Smiley

No LeBron tonight makes that a pretty good move. I’m still trying to decide if I want to bet against the Lakers or not. Surely seems like the right move. Might have to take a quick look at the odds before the game starts here in a few minutes. I honestly don’t think the Lakers can beat them without LeBron or AD, especially if Howard isn’t going to be getting minutes. Seems like a no brainer, but after yesterday’s no brainer worked out, I feel like this might be a gamblers trap. LOL, if there is such a thing. Still, Sixers got this… Maybe I will toss a few sats at them.

I wasn't aware that Lebron is not going to play, but I still have the Sixers with a handicap win so I guess everyone is happy in riding with the Sixers.

The Warriors vs Wolves game is still close though, I have -6.5 but they just lead by 5 points in the middle of the 3rd quarter. And the Warriors are strong in the 3rd quarter so I'm expecting that they are going to close it out with a good lead or at least have the handicap already.

Never doubt that Warriors, Lol, they have covered that spread and with seconds to go and they have a double digit lead, for sure majority of us has a double win in tonight's game. And I would say it is an easy call for Sixers and the Warriors to win their respective games. Big games for Curry + Thompson. And then we have Wiggins (I think this is his first time to be all star starter) and then Poole and Porter to seal the win.

Congrats on the Warriors, looks like most of us here won our bets, both home teams won and cover the spread and they did that without giving us nervous. A great pick for us and I think the public won their bets that day.

How about tomorrow, lots of available games. I'm looking for a team that would bounce back like the Bucks. I also like the Mephis at home, they are just -3, I think they can win and cover that.
