If not investing then holding them from signature campaign earning is also a good idea because in the end what matter is you are holding btc in any way you had accumulated it like some might be having them from faucets paying 5 btc in past and some other giveaways.But the main thing is holding them for long term and about altcoins i am personally not a fan of them and restricts myself from swinging away on them.So keep your will strong and try to hold your coins for more time but you can surely use the funds in case of need.

As we all know that bitcoin is becoming quite a intersting topic these days due to all the news ,high profits and latest trend among the people due to which many wants to learn and invest in it. But those who have made up account on bitcointalk forum have reached a heaven where you can learn a lot of things about bitcoin and other crypto related stuffs.

But when you join the forum with newbie account you might be familiar with bitcoin working or not but you can have some prior knowledge about it and for this I am gonna advice you take this test for small help in your knowledge enhancement as newbie regarding bitcoin :

BITCOIN TEST

This is really good test setup for people who wants to know about bitcoin and be familiar with it's working. It contains 50 questions which cover questions related to various topics like :

1)Blockchain
2)Bitcoin Mining
3) Economics
4) Bitcoin Working
5) Others

So if you are newbie or familiar with bitcoin try giving the test and you would come to know how much you know and where you lag behind. You can then work upon such topics where your answers were wrong and gain knowledge about them in detail later on. This is little help for you to enhance your knowledge and self evaluation of your bitcoin knowledge. This forum will teach you a lot no doubt but you can try learning on your own also with such knowledge giving tests and other things.

See this is not a competition or anything which you will be rewarded but just your self evaluation so don't try to cheat by giving the test again and again as this will not help you a lot in the long run. So best is to give the test on your own without any google search or any help and then note down the points where you was wrong and work on them.

Purpose of this thread:  My main aim is that you can gain some knowledge and be familiar with some basic parts of bitcoin and blockchain with this test as you will have to give answers and you will gain knowledge from it and the post quality is enhanced on the forum.So if you are willing to learn something the surely give it a try otherwise leave it.

1) As a newbie you would not be able to post image so just copy BBcode link for image uploaded to image hosting site like Imgur or imgbb and paste the link in your post

2) You don't need to edit the post once you have posted the results to avoid any cheating so give it once only.

I am not a merit source so my smerits are limited but still will try to give to members scoring good in the test but remember if you cheat you will gain 1 merit but no knowledge so just know the difference and do better for yourself. This test is not limited to newbies only and other members can also give it a shot if they want to check their bitcoin knowledge. So best of luck to all the members.

That's a good point in technical boards because if you are going off topic and posting irrelevant knowledge which have no link with the ongoing discussions then the post is reported directly but on other board this thing is less frequent and many members spam fill the thread with such posts and giving up the same replies just to increase their post count.But in technical discussion if electrum wallet seed phrase or any other technical discussion is going then you cannot say business doing this or that and other philosophical things which don't add up to that discussion.

These late night thoughts hit hard sometimes and who have sold out at panicking might getting face washed twice or thrice to check once again the prices.

I am also bitcoin optimistic and holding my coins for the long term continuing with my DCA and don't have plans to spend them.The USD is most strongest fiat currency in the term of global trade and accepted almost everywhere and that's why most of the prices are denominated in USD but you the local exchange also show them at your legal currency also.Like the premium rates have been for btc in South Korea for some time and they were way too high than global market.But you can always make conversions to legal fiat of bitcoin.

The highlighted part in your post does not stand true according to me because what perception you have in mind is wrong.As i have said earlier also is that if bitcoin prices are at $50k imagine then we consider that we should have $50k with us to invest but that's not the case man like you could easily buy it for small fraction also like $30-$50 keeping them above the transaction fees only and you would get them.Imagine people who have 0.5 or 0.05 Bitcoins with them they are enjoying at these time and will have huge profits in future.The fact that it would be less than whales holding many btc but you should invest whatever amount you are willing to do.

You said you diversified your portfolio with btc and other altcoins so are you sure they are going to give you satisfactory return if you hold them? Because for me bitcoin is only surviving coin but as we know preferences varies so not coming to that part.Finances will never allow us but we can manage some waste expenses to some investment purposes for securing our future.So have thought about them.

Those lazy gamblers are the one who face some serious issues later on when they commit some kind of mistakes and funds are lost as account gets locked so it's better to give 5-10 minutes reading before hand to avoid such misconceptions later on.

Most of the time this kind of withdrawal does not occur but when they occur they try to ensure that it's resolved ASAP if they are legit ones and system has not detected anything wrong or suspicious which need to be checked manually.Fees are most of the time is sufficient enough to confirm the transaction rather than lying in memepool for long.But his issue might be resolved soon or give update about the withdrawal at current.

They would not go for fixed participants or any limitations because there is reason behind it like if they have to distribute say $1000 and they are getting advertisement on many social media platforms from multiple accounts then why would they restrict such things? They are getting mass publicity within the same budget if they are not scam and will pay to you.Like in the 2017 ICO case they were raising million dollars from Twitter, Facebook and reddit bounties making post on their wall and submitting the reports.So they allow as many participants in the campaign and thus rewards get distributed but they are according to the followers and sometimes article or blog quality as well.But in the end it's all vain if you have knowledge then use it for some useful purpose rather than allocating your time on them.

My point is also the same that merits are not limited to any of the board but the main implementation was to enhance the post quality on the overall forum as whole not that if Technical discussion are being made then more merits should be poured on that leaving aside the non-technical and healthy discussion.You have come across these surprising results yourself that the boards which were on your mind to be top 5 were actually not and some other not so visited were.But the actual point is if you find any conversation intersting you would spend more merits on them rather than some technical things.

Technical discussion - There are lot of technical or say most of the technical details are being shared and use of those terms so now whosoever understand those terms or say have knowledge about bitcoin will post on that board like some terms like Locking and unlocking script,UTXO set,eliptic curve and some other and all those lines of codes could not be understood by all but by only those who have knowledge about them whether he is newbie or senior member.So the amount of merit transfer is less.

Bitcoin Discussion- I also have the impression that this was main board of the forum and usually post on it but with time the spam posting filled the threads with ineffective discussion and the board became less frequently visited by members and you could check it yourself that how the post quality has deviated over these years.

Beginner and Help - This is now one of the most frequently visited board on the forum and you could see lot of guides being made by members to aware the other members and how to use certain application and help them.They get merited for the same as they come under effective posting and quality is being maintained so you see more merits.

Economics - This is another interesting board where you could see some healthy economy related discussions over inflation, government policies, national funds and all other matters.People usually get interested in these conversations as you don't need any technical knowledge for them and share your thoughts and if liked by any other members you could get merits as reward.Like @paxmao is giving out many to the members in that board including with other members as they are more likely to have such economic related discussions.

Same is the case with other boards but the main thing is it's never board resticted but whenever you find a suitable post that matches your thoughts or say even not but they have some good content to share with others and promoting healthy conversation among the members then you will get merits for them.

There are lot of board on which you can't visit frequently or say never visit and for someone it could be the main place to write up the post so each and every member has different criteria but in the end the main point is the deserving posts should get merits to whatever board they belong.

But there is full surety that both things are going to take place even it takes some time and that is what matters the most in the end.Maybe some delays in channel launch and btc prices to reach $100k but once the ignition is on there is no coming back and that's for sure

Although he has achieved 11 merits in 20 days only but you would find that 4 are from WO thread,2 from @Ognasty sign a message and some from local pakistan board but he still needs to learn lot of things and sum up them in his posting if he want to rank up and that would come under quality post.This is just a fresh boost but still he needs to work hard but his main focus should be exchange of knowledge and gaining experience.The campaign will come with time when he reaches atleast Full member rank.So just aim high and you will see outcomes then

Social media campaigns are mostly joined by newbie account and you don't need to rank up for them as you could see most of the enrolled members in such Bounty campaign are newbie or junior rank and he can have hands on them now only and will find many still running.But the main problem is that they are just waste of time according to me for various reasons like :

- As soon the projects end and tokens are distributed then all started dumping them on listed exchange and the prices went to zero and you did not get that much prices
- Sometimes the company is scam and did not pay at all
- You get yourself into that small trap and never rank up your account by effective posting

So be focused on learning and having bitcoin and crypto knowledge.Rest all will come to you with time and experience.

They will be in talks and ensure that withdrawal is processed fast and the player receive his funds as they don't want to have bad customer feedback and sometimes it usually happens and there is no need to get annoyed and wait for sometime and you will get them soon mate.

The conditions are stated prior and you could not make an alt account on the casino if they restricts the same and it's better to contact the team before hand to avoid any confusion and payment problems and it's good that you contacted them at first and that's why you don't have to face any issues.

Although @JJG already answered your questions and same would have been my said by me that for me bitcoin is the best in every perspective like prices, security, payment and guaranteed future growth whereas those coins you are taking about don't have a firm future ahead if there is any technical upgradation lag.Consider the ETH the gas is too high even after the London Hard Fork and so many coins have been burned till now but still there are lot of issues and compared to bitcoin memepool is sometimes empty and you can make transaction with low fees also.But for me there are some other reasons also and bitcoin is the only fisible option to me.

As @JJG said if you are planning to hold for long term like in my case then it's not an issue and you could easily put whatever amount you are willing to do so.The DCA have helped to accumulate more coins and as you are saying the investment is less then have a look and you will find till now i have put on more than $600 and still going on with the same and considering the prices owning a fraction of bitcoin is also worth it not full btc only.The prices have came far away and you could check price charts for it and even if it goes x5,x10, then imagine the retuns.

So for me I only prefer BTC

Those who wants to live with deflationary fiat rest of their life.I would say it's better to leave if you cant see it at $44k then you don't deserve it at $100k.

The bottom prices will recover but who sold at them will surely not.

I must confess that those resources have not helped only newbies but some other members also and appreciate your efforts and dedication towards bitcoin and the forum.Collecting resources and data and then summarising them in attracting format is not an easy task and most importantly such threads help to learn a lot about bitcoin and also minor technical knowledge which help them a lot.But the point is members need to take some time to learn from them as they are not providing any fake information to you but will surely enhance your knowledge unlike of those scammers who are giving you misleading and untrue information and promoting shitcoins so stay away from them.Better to be a learner and reading such articles.
