Income tax should go as the government doesn't need to know how much you're making, but I understand property tax to maintain roads and organize basic emergency services. If income tax pays for schools, that's another reason for it to go. Public schools have failed everywhere.

When I'm buying an advertising campaign, I want to know what I'm buying. I can buy 5,000 clicks or 1,000,000 pages views, and I can choose the audience, but if I don't know precisely what I'm getting, and without any guarantee on how long I'll have it, I guess your service has to be free. Forever.
"without any guarantee on how long I'll have it" Look at the milliondollarhomepage: it has been online since 2005 and it will likely be online for the decades to come. It didn't guarantee it will be online forever, they only declared that but they still got their banner filled by advertisers! Yeah it maintained its promise because it is still online after 8-9 years, but there was no guarantee on this in 2005. "I want to know what I'm buying" There are a lot of professional advertising services that offer you the guarantee you get 5,000 clicks from the country you choose etc., but there is a huge difference in price. My service has the same philosophy as the milliondollarhomepage: no guaranteed but very very cheap (actually far cheaper than MDH). Again, the MDH got their banner filled despite they did not guarantee 5,000 clicks to advertisers, who paid even 1$ per pixel that is very costly! If all the people think like you, why in the world they bought pixels on MDH at that crazy price? I don't know what some people are doing, and I don't know how successful that milliondollarhomepage is, and you may even be successful among individuals who want to promote their blogs, but I think professional marketers will stick to professional advertising services.

I'm not expecting anything from BTC. It's fine as it is. What I'm expecting is more people using it.

I believe the FBI would sell its BTC at a discount. All goods sell below their their market value at government auctions.

Amazing!
I had never thought Slovakia could become a leader in anything, but when so many western countries seem to be paralyzed, there are opportunities that Slovakia could seize. I've never been there but I guess I should. I know car manufacturers have built very large factories in Slovakia, recently, there's got to be a reason...

Credit Card and Paypal: Currently there is for that payment method only one amount (49,50€) possible, you will receive 38,67$ in BTC. Is this a joke? You expect people to pay $67.4 to receive $38.67 in BTC? What a rip-off!

Really? Who is an economist?
Central bankers are afraid of BTC, but they're not economists, they are warriors protecting their local currency. Wall Street traders aren't economists either, they're salespeople at best, rogue speculators at worst.
The only people I would give the title of economist work in universities, and I still have to hear one of them, saying he's afraid of BTC.

How about moving to a country where is no capital gains tax? Just an idea...
Yes, that's totally legal (assuming you can get into that country!). AIUI, several British dependencies don't levy CGT (IANAL so I could be wrong), for example. Bear in mind the US are a totalitarian state and their "IRS" claims the right to tax US citizens anyplace on earth. So if you're American, whether by birth, descent or naturalization, you must either: - Pay Uncle Sam his dues so he can kill more innocents! - Renounce your US citizenship - Ignore the IRS (best stay away from the US though!) I'm not American, and I travel a lot, so I'm not paying any CGT or income tax to anyone. Frankly, that's the only way to live.

Good! BTC has huge potential in countries where millions of people don't have a bank account.

My sources also say the news is fake. Thumbs down for the site which gave it.

Come on guys, the whole idea behind BTC is to be above all countries. A domain name "countryname-bitcoin.com" is absolutely worthless.
No offense but very clearly you have ZERO experience with global marketing, domain assets, or intellectual property. I've been working in advertising from 1995 to 1999 and I was making good money. It's actually possible that some people may value a site named "countryname-bitcoin.com" but it would be wrong. All the companies I'm working for nowadays are global, with websites in different languages, but .com ; .net or .org domain suffixes so that people cannot tell where we're based (in a place where there's no tax). Thinking local is OK for selling vegetables, but for my business, and BTC, it's only a global village. Many old bitcoiners are also anarchists who don't trust governments, so the idea of going to a "countryname-bitcoin.com" website sounds just like going to the taxman, who only wants to kill BTC. No way!

People regularly loose banknotes, some gold coins were in boats which sunk, and some diamonds have felt in a fire. There's nothing new with people losing BTC.

BTC users are smarter. They don't pay to get porn. Come on, you've got to be stupid to pay for porn nowadays. There are tons of sites which are free.

Amazing how so many people never learn and still believe in regulation. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were both very regulated and highly regarded up to September, 6 of 2008. Check the history books to learn what happened the following day.

No need for a global company. Companies listed on the NYSE or any large exchange get investors from all over the world. But what's the point of investing in BTC besides that it could be anonymous? How is it better than keeping your BTC in your wallet at home?

I won't make the switch because I just couldn't live without bank accounts and credit cards. I may have a busy lifestyle, but there are things I need that BTC simply can't provide.
How to buy a flight ticket without a credit card? How to rent a car abroad without a credit card? How to get paid without a bank account? How to buy stocks without a bank account?
I still think it's great that some people believe so much in BTC that they choose it as their main currency, but they will have a hell of a life.
