3081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a bitcoin day? on: May 29, 2017, 01:32:55 PM
if you collect enough votes with something like Avazz, the official registry giving these day's names might make one, it wouldn't be easy and although interesting not really meaningful, we have our Pizza day and Black Friday/Monday for all tech stuff so...
This is a good suggestion and I think someone here need to take the first step.I am sure it is going to be a huge impact if we have bitcoin day.
As stated someone need to imitate the first step. It's surely gonna make a big impact on the growth as well the acceptance from people who haven't used bitcoin before. As stated already we had our black day and bitcoin pizza day. Let's make bitcoin usage with full of celebrations.
3082  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Transacting in Litecoin or Etherium? on: May 28, 2017, 04:38:20 PM
Recently a large user base turned towards the ethereum for all the transaction requirement as the value increased along with the faster confirmation with less fee than bitcoin. Now the volatility over ethereum is found high and the value decline would happen any time because of bitcoin price drop. This has made people come back to bitcoin..
3083  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: May 28, 2017, 04:16:48 PM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
Never put all of your money in one investment only since it's too risky and no successful invetors did that. Also, no one put all of his money in investment of course they have needs, and savings.
Well, if they are people who dare to take risks, I think that is a natural thing, because it can make a big profit if you exchange all the money you have into bitcoin to wait for a high price. But all of that has a big risk.
Risk is always accompanied with bitcoin as well digital currencies. But no one tends to take such a big risk by investing everything into bitcoin. Diversifying the assets is quite good and I make investment in a 20:30:50 ratio where 20% for other digital currencies, 30% for gold and the remaining 50% on bitcoin.
3084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only now many countries recognize bitcoin as a virtual currency? on: May 28, 2017, 03:41:32 PM
Long back itself many countries have been into the research about virtual currency. Now governments have started getting the results for all that was under testing. This gives the Countries to give importance and make path for bitcoin based development. Along with this Japan's adoption too is an reason for other countries to show interest on Virtual currency.
3085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: May 28, 2017, 03:26:20 PM
If your an addict to gambling thats not good.
Because it may lost ur wealth. If you are an addict to gambling you never stop until you dont feel to stop
U never gain but always a loser.
You are not content on what you have, yoi just play a game no focus to win.

I do not participate in your ideas, I myself am addicted to gambling
I am happy that I am gambling on the edge of unhealthy gambling.
When I lose, I think I can play until the end of my life

It's not good what you say, most of the people can't do it because of their financial situations. The addicted gamblers have even sold their house able properties for the addiction. It's hard to come out of it and most of the people need help from their friends and family.
Agreed, every user cannot afford to loss till the end of the life leaving only the bad foot steps for the upcoming generation. I have rarely come across incidents where users have sold all their wealth just for gambling. Lot of examples can be seen for the people losing everything just because of drug addiction.
3086  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: May 27, 2017, 04:57:29 PM
If this gets a legalized usage access, the value will peak ad at the same time we can expect the network functioning same as that working under a centralized system. Moreover the possibility to get used in majority of the countries is low, because in a short traditional currency usage will decrease which might affect the economy of the country.
3087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: May 27, 2017, 04:40:09 PM
The only way is to have limited amounts and limited access to those amounts. If not then you might just keep depositing until there is nothing left. Try to keep your beys low and when you hit the max stop for thst session. Try later. Othereise you double up to many times and hot a losing streak.  Sad

I agree with your opinion.
In gambling, when you start to lose you become angry and anxious. in those cases if you continue you probably lose more.

It is a bad omen that is the limit of our game. When looking at it we should stop playing and resting in some time.
Tranquility and emotional can make an important factor in gambling game.
To avoid such situation of lacking emotional control on experiencing a loss or an unexpected loss the mind always tends to place higher amount and win the lost amount. This should not happen, so before starting to play we need to set the affordability and begin. Whether won or lost, beyond which we should not participate into any of the games for that particular day.
3088  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: May 27, 2017, 04:24:36 PM
I have my two children, first of all I taught them the numbers, then I learned the concept of money, I'm waiting for the moment I did not tell the bitcoin topic, because I do not think they can grasp it, someone is 8 years old and 4 years old. But it's all I have to tell them.
Anyhow give a try, but at this age very few kids get interest towards these activities. Most of the kids has the mentality of playing with friends and having fun. Kids easily handle smartphones and other systems but when it comes to bitcoin it cannot be easily understood. In my view if it has got a physical state then kids might understand it in a easy manner than the virtual understanding.
3089  Economy / Speculation / Re: After the Correction...Will Bitcoin Fly? on: May 27, 2017, 04:06:53 PM
As OP described several experts have predicted that the price move as high as $6000 once after the correction, without quoting any time constraints. Few have mentioned in their article that the 2018 start sees the price $3000 and further might move forward towards $6000 before the end of the year 2018.
3090  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC lost through lending on Poloniex? on: May 27, 2017, 03:54:41 PM
Uf, it's sorted out (my stupid error in administration  Embarrassed ). Thanks for the help everybody and sorry for the confusion. It is also a reminder for me that when participating in lending/margin trade it is good to keep a very close eye on in and outgoing transfers. The information that you can gather afterwards is limited. Yet another crypto lesson learnt.

I want to mention that there was NO error of Poloniex or system glitch (what I suspected at first). No blame there.
Well, anyhow you got the solution. Same time if you've gone without periodic update on the thread this might have served as a thread to make a negativity on poloniex. No site wishes to loss their reputation, so in future make sure everything is going good and find the support and directly don't create such threads.
3091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the location affect when we gamble? on: May 26, 2017, 06:08:13 PM
Location too is given concern with casinos rather than the sports betting, because people from different locations have different thinking capability. Also the difference in algorithms too make a change in the winning and losing through the Casino as well the strategy that provide a winning in a particular casino won't be effective on the other.
3092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: May 26, 2017, 04:23:18 PM
As the price of bitcoin have increased tremendously, the fee to have increased along with it. For a transaction of 0.1 btc the fee of around $8 is levied by the wallet service which gives confirmation in a short time period of around 2 blocks. So when price increases the users get profited, and fee should never be considered as an issue for bitcoin's growth.
3093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: May 25, 2017, 02:04:04 AM
I am gambling usually at day time. In the evening I am not at home and I prefer to use desktop computer because I feel much more confident with home network. Also. I am at home all day so I can say that I gamble all day long.

I find it better to gamble at day time because I prefer to have a mood with lights. I don't want to gamble at night because it will only give me hard time to take some sleep especially when I'm going to lose big amount of money by that night.
Well in my own i am gamble midnight that all my children was sleep.. and no interrupt while i am gamble..
I have 4 kids that honestly they are too nasty in day..
And i don't like to know that i am gamble because they can be addictive in the future if they know to gamble..

That's also a good time to gamble because everything seems to be quiet and if you want peaceful gambling, go gamble at midnight. But with this time I find myself sleepy and I need to take some rest because when the day comes on, I will be hard time to take some nap if there's a light surrounding me and I'll always prefer to gamble with light.
It depends, I personally don't have any particular time for engaging into gambling activities. I do based on the time schedule of the particular game, whether it's day or night doesn't matter. I mostly do sports betting so from the start to the end of the match I'll be active irrespective of the time.
3094  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: May 25, 2017, 01:50:06 AM
let´s keep doing those daily $ 100 jumps for the rest of the year.  Wink
Nah. Let's do $1000 jumps.
Never settle for less than you deserve. Cool
Right now the $100 seems quite common. Periodically the price has started to move continuous in multiples of $100. As stated in the above quote we might soon experience the $1000 jumps making the predictions of several bitcoin players come true.
3095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of many reasons why I love bitcoin on: May 25, 2017, 01:34:19 AM
If we don't have a bank account, earlier we would be called unbanked. But bitcoin allows us to be our own bank. Its one of the main reason for which i love bitcoin. Also unlike dollar, which is subject to inflation because of its unlimited supply, bitcoin is not subject to inflation because of its limited supply. Its an ever growing secured investment.
We do not need the bank to control our money. We can control money by ourselves and we can become rich thanks to bitcoin. Bitcoin provides a chance for us to become 90% anonymous on the internet either on the physical world
to me we can even control our money through banks but it required a long long process, where in online wallet  you do not need for such a long progress and you can use your money in seconds from everywhere.

Hmm. That doesn't necessarily happen. If you are moving a small fund, banks are quite faster than bitcoins. You go to an ATM, withdraw a $100 and done. On bitcoins, send bitcoins wait at least 30 minutes. Fees wise, bitcoins costs a lot to move nowadays because of the congestion.
Unless you have the same wallet like what I have now and whenever I send money to a friend it is almost instant and no fees which really is a good thing to both sides but when you transfer it to other wallets then that one would take time with fees.
These days the price of bitcoin has increased enormously,   but along with the same several complications too have got generated. One amongst that is the transaction confirmation. Several wallets have been providing faster confirmation for the transaction within the same wallet service. From one particular wallet service to other the time of confirmation highly varies. Even now with the fee suggested by the wallet service most users get their transactions confirmed in a short time.
3096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: May 24, 2017, 07:53:34 AM
As suggested it's good to move towards altcoins to experience the gambling, if you consider bitcoin to be too expensive for gambling. Lots and lots of gambling websites have started to accept altcoins into gambling activities. One such reputed gambling website is betcoin.ag, where you could get access to all gambling from dice to sports betting with altcoin acceptance and easy interface.
3097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: May 24, 2017, 07:36:30 AM
Criminality is there even when bitcoin is not innovated. Bitcoin has made the criminal activities to take place in a simple manner. Even in the recent wannacry ransomware bitcoin is demanded as ransom. Anonymous functioning is the one which makes it more popular among the darkweb as well the common people who are hard users of bitcoin.
3098  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: May 24, 2017, 07:13:12 AM

I want to generate a constant monthly gain. Is it possible to do this by bitcoin trading? So, can I just do this by dealing with BTC trading?
Are there any people among us who can make a living by trading in BTC?
There is no actually fixed income in trading regardless if its is bitcoin related, foreign exchange related or stock exchange related. As long as you trade, everythng in market would be unpredictable since there is no accepted market that always grow up its value.

Fixed income completely depends on you because if you have enough knowledge how altcoin trading works and by analyzing the market you can make the decent profit with the knowledge you have. You need to take care because some time is not possible to make money with your guessing because sometime bitcoin is in volatile condition. All other altcoin depends on the bitcoin only.

Never seen some guy that makes fix income in tradings but the real say here is we can earn frequently and the money we can get their is undefined since coins movements are not precisely moving good everyday and sometimes they go stable for a while but we may have alternatives from another coin but im pretty sure that our earnings from it is not the same as we earn from the coin we monitored frequently. Fix income on trading is just a myth but if you act correctly then passive income well maybe came to us.
When you have a low profit target from the capital you have and be realistic enough.
I think that time you might could get a steady income a fixed income from trading in bitcoin.
It was not a myth , you and everyone could do it if patient enough .
I believe when it comes to trading then there is no actual fix amount of earnings and even you are going to lose sometimes. This is the nature of the business and it can’t be changed. You need to remain flexible when it comes to trading. If someone thinks that he will make a fixed amount in the trading, he is on the wrong track.
Trading is very flexible to the numbers of either profit or loss and traders should be prepared and know that because if they don't know that and always expect always fixed amount then as you said, they are in the wrong track and they will experience often loss than profits because they will not get satisfied until they reach their average amount.
As quoted trading is always flexible to get an earning where loss and profit happens based on the knowledge we have in trading. Most of the time trading is possible to make a good stable earning. You need to have a good capital to make buying and selling respective altcoins. It's good invest little by little.
3099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Directbet.eu - what seems to be the reason for the site closure? on: May 23, 2017, 08:04:14 AM
Are you sure ? I can still access the site just fine without that message. It might be that they closed only for your particular country.

edit; just saw this on their thread. Big loss for the sportsbetting community :O
They do have the reason on their thread that they are pursuing other things in life.
They have stopped, thankfully you watched it. It was one of the sport-books where I at least knew that I won't get scammed, maybe the odds are a bit low and the settlement is a bit delayed but the team was quite impeccable and never doubted that. I think the dogecoin's bump was one reason and the latest BTC price jump due to the wannacry virus was the main reasons.
This is simply unexpected, because it have been in the lead as the best sports book for the gamblers. The anonymity is the best it provides to the users with perfect odds and the settlement taking place in the perfect manner with the perfect support from team. Recent virus attack might have created a misconception in bitcoin usage as they hold huge volume of bitcoin.
3100  Economy / Economics / Re: Want to Be a Millionaire? Two Main Rules of Bitcoin Investing on: May 23, 2017, 07:47:03 AM
To be a millionaire through bitcoin one needs luck or need to be the early investor. Here the user is an early investor and the value at which he have made the investment is quite low. When it's compared to the present price it's very big now. Right now investing seems risk as the price is high. So price needs to grow higher from the price it's bought which is not sure which makes the millionaire dream more risky, if investment is done now.
