Yet another poll.  Can we see $5.5? Grin

Actually it should be far more likely to hit $7 today / tommorow.

Holy shit man, that's a bold claim there. Grin

The real question is, how many will resist the urge to sell once it gets there.

Taking into account a few basic emotional factors. One can see there is indeed support for bitcoin. Additionally confidence is high as their has been no "issues" prior to last years fall.

Factor other small details like the road map for the Bitcoin client changes that will help with wallet security.
Upcoming services that will change the way average people do their retail purchase.
NFC (near filed communication ) offered with the new superphones and goggles new wallet system.
Even MasterCard upcoming swipe services.

And lest not forget how powerful a tool the IPhone can be for new tech adoption.

The reality of having bitcoin as a medium for day to day transactions seems far more plausible then last year.

However remember drink and speculate responsibly this holiday season. Tongue

If you want you can send me the Bitcoins you collected. Smiley

Don't forget that to get this results the voltage is over 250W vs the 5870 190w.

Doesn't matter since their benchmark is bogus. None of the numbers are right, and they apparently couldn't even get the miner to produce valid shares.

Well as hopefull one could be with the new Tech from AMD, results like the above make me think that one should pickup some of these babies.

http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX32649 at $669 each seems tempting lol.

3088  Economy / Speculation / Re: Occupy Wall Street and BTC Prices on: November 20, 2011, 08:51:21 PM
It seems to me that many of the people who are from the OWS movement would be supporters of the BTC movement. Given that so many of them are camping out in various occupy protests around the world I can't help but think that this is affecting current BTC prices through non activity/involvement from them. Just opening the door to a conversation here but I think this may have prices temporarily lower than they should be.

you need a computer, not a tent in central park to be able to use bitcoin...

nah all you need is an android phone Smiley

I still hold onto the notion that we will see further pressure downward by the end of the weekend.
Factors such as the bitcoin7 fiasco along with spec activity and finaly the normal weekend decline.

However where it should stop is unknown.
3097  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are on our way to 3.5-3.7! on: October 07, 2011, 07:44:46 PM
Just remember that Bitcoin becomes far more acceptable by retailers at about $2 each since there is a potential for further gains in exchanges of maybe a few %.

I would like to see it maintain a 2-3 range.

And along with that we would be motivated as miners to streamline our operation with other options rather then just GPU's
3098  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are on our way to 3.5-3.7! on: October 07, 2011, 07:38:03 PM

3099  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are on our way to 3.5-3.7! on: October 07, 2011, 07:35:52 PM
What happens if I would sell 1500?

Did you drop your 1500 about 3 mins ago?
3100  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are on our way to 3.5-3.7! on: October 07, 2011, 07:29:36 PM
You would probably be Smiley and less worried about the obvious decline we are going into this weekend.
