i personally use usb drives to store my wallet files, but paper wallets are what i believe to be even more safe as usb drives can corrupt. that's why i use like 5 or 6 usb drives to store them. better safe than sorry. if you know how to safely store your paper wallet in a secure/safe place then it is probably the best cold storage method.

i do believe that holding bitcoins for the long term will give you a great reward eventually. you only need to make sure you have the patience for it. and also, don't panic if the price is going down hard. use that situation in your advantage to buy even more coins if you can.

you should never keep your funds on exchangers, especially if you think any fishy stuff is going on there, withdraw your funds as fast as possible (if you can!)
at this point bitfinex offers way too much trading options for people to leave. the alternatives aren't worth leaving bitfinex for. beside that, bitfinex has huge loads of volume every day. if all people withdrew their coins from the exchanges there wouldn't be a market. |

Why they just show Buying ? Anyway , i don't any hope for backing price to $280-$290 again ..... this selling panic will fade away so don't worry. if you haven't bought coins yet, make sure you do it before it's going back up again. this might be the last chance to grab them this cheap before the halving. |

If it does go below $200, what if it goes then below mid $100ish.
Thats going to be a sight to see, if we see bitcoin barely holding for $100 dollars. And it`ll be def due to the xt news of people panic due to the split.
i don't think we're that lucky to see bitcoin going to around the $100 level. a lot of this panic is based on nothing. panic is leading at this point instead of common sense. |

Now I`m getting scared, I am moving half of my bitcoins into litecoin.
I even changed my avatar from a strong bitcoin head with 2 muscular arms, into a faded dark bitcoin (due to crappy devs) whereas the Litecoin will shine above.
Bitcoin could fucking hit a 150$ low, if this shit continues.
so you are getting bearish. i don't think we'll see the price go to $150 as that is way too low. i'm sure the xt drama will cool down and everything will get back to normal. |

at this point it would make more sense that when the stocks are going down considerably, people use that money to find another rewarding investment. bitcoin is such an investment. that being said, i don't think that bitcoin will follow if stocks are going through a massive bull run.

as far as i can see (according to bitnodes.io) the amount of xt nodes is nearly the same as yesterday. not much has changed if you ask me. however, we will definitely see the amount of xt nodes plummet when their server trials expire.

due to people panic selling their coins for cheap we get the opportunity to buy at these low levels. at this point i have bought enough so far. i have a few buy orders sitting below $200 just in case.

I believe this is a local bottom, that could be tested again today or tomorrow, if it holds then what could follow are two small legs up, to about 240$ and to 265$ possibly, after which a larger correction could begin. At least that's my most probable scenario, I bought non leveraged around 210$ (didn't expect to drop below), and plan to sell soon and later short the top of the second leg up with max leverage. chances are high that the $200 will get tested again within a few days, but too much people are waiting to buy around that level. i think the support is strong enough to not let it fall below $200. |

those who managed to buy below $200 were lucky. i managed to grab a few coins at $203 which i am very happy with. don't think it will go below $200 again.

if this is ever going to happen then the price will fall to very low $100 or maybe even below $100. recovering from such a horrible situation may take more than a year.

i am very glad i bought a few coins at $203. i'm not quite sure yet that the price will rise more than now $222 but it's a great buy.

people start opening threads asking when bitcoin will go back to +$1000 just because they bought themself some coins the previous day. it doesn't work like that. people don't have the patience to wait several months or even years. they want profit right now.

at this point the bottom is $200 so it is possible to see it trying to go below that. support there seems to be fairly strong, but you never know. a large dump can get things down quickly.

price will down and down and down. so sell your coins now before price is lowest than now i'm already sell all my bitcoin and wait price down under $200 i will buy again bitcoin good luck with your selling. waiting for the price to go below $200 might not happen at all. however, it might go down to very low $200 level. but it's definitely not worth selling now and hoping to buy back a little cheaper. |
