3081  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Bitpr0.com | The Ultimate Crypto Gambling Site Directory on: August 08, 2021, 11:59:22 PM

You are absolutely right.
All logos need a overhaul which I am currently working on. So far we got Bitpr0.com/gifts and Bitpr0.com/gambling updated. More to come.

Also the live portfolio tracker update is comming, stay on the news  Cool
I think this is a temporary inconvenience and devs will solve the problem and by the way they also write that they will do everything normally.  It's just that the site is big, serious, and takes enough time to maintain.
I don’t know if our BTT recommendations help the process of spreading the site among the BTT community and gamblers, but I, for example, am happy with it and recommend others to try it.  By the way, for this, I will probably periodically write some small comments and suggestions just so that the topic is on the first page of the gambling section.  Then BTT users will notice it more often and read it and at least pay attention to this, in my opinion, an interesting and worthy project.

Awesome of you! Thanks for sharing our website, we really appreciate it.

We removed rocketpot due to open disputes, read more here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5352906.20

New update is incomming  Cool

You deserved it, your site is very helpful just the same with delfastTions you can simply browse inside the site, you'll see whatever you need.

And from how you handling your service, you are quick to check if there's some issue with the site that listed inside.

Good to see you progressing and likewise, I also wanted to see more coming from your updates. Good Luck!

The site indeed is helpful to crypto users especially those newcomers in this industry.
As they are offering a wide range of crypto-related sites, this will be a very good starting point to these newbies.
Great to hear also that they have no qualms on removing sites with unresolved issues.
This shows that they are really not after for the commission that they will get but they also take care of those users that happen to browse their site.
3082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: August 08, 2021, 11:31:38 PM
I believe this as well, however I am not really sure why this is not happening, after all we know that there is a strong gambling industry in the market of cryptocurrencies so it is to be expected that this is eventually transferred to physical casinos as well, and the fact that this has not happened is puzzling, maybe as we speculate it has to do with the regulations, but maybe it has to do with the fact that for a physical casino to adopt bitcoin then they will need to have a lot of gamblers interested in bitcoin be near them, something that is difficult as the concentration of bitcoin users in many areas is quite low.

In fact, there is nothing surprising here - the demand for payments with cryptocurrencies is low, so casinos (like other services) are in no hurry to introduce such an option when accepting payments. No matter how much crypto enthusiasts talk about mass adoption, but people consciously choose fiat and bank cards because in everyday life they are more convenient in every sense.

It will take time before these traditional casinos will accept crypto in their payment system.
For one, it depends on the regulatory board of their country. They need to abide their laws and regulations.
So injecting crypto in their system, will be a new one in their book. And formulating rules will take time.
Maybe, we will see this to reality like in El Salvador, once they accepted crypto in their financial system.
But still, it will take time for these offline casinos to draft protocols on how to accept crypto in their system.

^Honestly thequin's job is not that easy because we are talking about this type of people all the time all around him every day 7/24 hours and that is a scary thing to think about.

I have been part of few projects but never the face of anything and that is a scary thing, people who do mistakes that come to you instead? I mean I can sort of understand him because I was a telegram mod of a defi project as well but the difference is like 10th league of British league team going against Manchester city, freebitco.in is probably the top website regarding crypto, probably bigger than whole of bitcointalk and that is why his job is a lot harder. This moron is just one and we are talking about many more of these people bugging him every day.

I fully understand the difficulty of the job but they are already earning good amount of money here.
So it is easy for them to hire some staffs that will take care of small issues so he doesn't have to stress himself with these small ones.
You don't need to bear all the burden if you are already capable of distributing those tasks to others.
Remember, any type of player, big or small roller, you need to take care of their issues. That's how a site can grow much stronger.
Anyway, just checking here as it seems the fun savings feature as well as the recent binance trading competition, haven't created much impact on FUN token price.

3084  Economy / Gambling / Re: TwiceDice Casino 🌟| 110% Bonus 🎰| Accepts: BTS, ETH, USDT, DOGE, XRP, BCH, LTC on: August 08, 2021, 10:34:00 PM
Welcome to the forum. I thought its a casino with dice as the main game but it turned out I was wrong.
Anyway the site pretty looks good. Do you have a plan to run a signature campaign here?

I'm surprised when I landed on the link coming from your post, you have taken the time and the effort to create a dedicated promotional page exclusive for Bitcointalk, I am very particular on URL on every site https://p.twicedice.com/bitcointalk/ this is not a home page but so much like a landing page, great job!! you really know how to market and target specific group I'm looking forward to you to launch a campaign, which is the next best step to gain more players.
Yes I thought its their home page as well, but they made an effort to create a promotional page specifically for bitcointalk users.
Anyway looking forward for more games added on their site.
That type of extra work basically shows that they mean serious business. I think name could have been chosen better, I agree with everyone that "dice" in a casino with bunch of name is not really a good idea, look at how primedice went with "stake" instead of keep the primedice name all because dice usually means dice and people may mistake this place as well.

However aside from that I have to say that this place looks like it is managed by people who are both good at what they do but also who are working hard as well, a person who is both hard working and great at their job is a rare thing in this day and age and I really respect this place even before spending too much time in there.

Seems they really did prepare the launch of their casino and I do agree that since they have a lot of games, the name twicedice is really not appropriate.
Because at first glance, you will think that they are only focusing on dice game but they are not.
Will check their sportsbook and let's see what odds they are offering as compared to known bookies here.
And if I may add, other than the seal coming from review sites, Mr Gamble and KIR, can they add the gaming license logo?
3085  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥NetEnt release 🔥 NFT Battles |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| 📈HotBit listing on: August 08, 2021, 09:43:28 PM
It honesty doesn't worth to farm it for just a second or two, I have been in part of many defi projects on early moments when they started, even from presale and at the very first seconds it is usually hugely "profitable" in the sense that it gives a huge return by the looks of it, but it is so quick that you do not make that much money at all. 10k per year means 27% a day, that is nearly 1% per hour, and usually this takes about 10 minutes before people get in.

So 10k% per year means only 0.20% or so for 10 minutes, sure a great thing in long term but this is usually done in 10 minutes so nobody really earns anything. I have done it a million times now and usually that is how it all goes.

The numbers are very attractive to see, but that percentage will not last long.
And once people get in, the APR can easily go down and you won't get the same APR.
So it is up to you if you will join or not, and avail the staking or their farming feature.
Evaluate if it is worth keeping your tokens in this kind of passive income.
This will be worthwhile if the token keeps on rising its value.
3086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Olympics Boxing) Carlo Paalam vs Galal Yafai (Fight for Gold Medal) on: August 07, 2021, 11:41:12 PM
Now the run of Carlo's Olympic medal hunt was done with silver. That's the best for someone like him and it's really a proud moment. Even a bronze will surely do but silver and gold are extraordinary. It was a close one when he's already there but falls short of his run in the Olympics.
Congratulations to him and as well as Galal for winning the gold medal. These guys are amazing and hope that we're still going to see them again in the Paris Olympics in 2024.

When I read articles related to Paalam's life, I believe he is more than happy to what he had achieved during this Olympics.
From poverty, he will soon uplift the status of his family's life. The prize that he will get from the government and maybe from private companies will be more than enough.
Now, if he decide to continue his battle, he knows what strategies he needs to do to achieve the top of his career.
Getting that silver medal is no easy feat. So big congratulations to him for achieving that medal.
3087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Flocki.Finance (Make Better DYOR With Flocki Analytics) on: August 07, 2021, 10:55:17 PM
There is no information about the project team, the logo and social token profiles are also not updated, do you plan to display information about your team or will you remain anonymous?

We will KYC the team with Solidproof Or Passorfailme

This would bring forth more trust for the project
Pleased to hear it. Because there are too many anonymous projects deceiving investors.
Flocki Finance Twitter account was created in 2018, Meaning this project started 3 years ago, But there are only a few tweets on Flocki Finance twitter account, what have you been doing for the past 3 years?

It was my personal twitter account that i turned changed to the project's. i didn't want to create a fresh twitter account to avoid twitter suspension when we start or bounty or airdrop program.

Better use an established twitter accounts so people will start trusting your platform.
Anonymous projects are being frowned upon because they can easily disappear once they pocketed the funds.
And by the way, what will be your notable feature as compared to most DeFi platforms?
3088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any contests for predicting the price of coins? on: August 06, 2021, 11:59:18 PM
coinmarketcap even holds a contest every month to guess the price of bitcoin.
3 people who guess close to the actual price will get a prize.
-
visit the link below to see the details:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/price-estimates/

Aside from this, what I know are gambling platforms like freebitco - https://freebitco.in/ and betller - https://betller.io/
Freebitco is offering betting on btc/eth/fun prices at the end of the month, whereas, betller is a pvp betting for btc price.
If you feel you are good at predicting prices, why not join these platforms and test your speculation skills?
3089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Accumulating small odds or choosing one or two big odds on: August 06, 2021, 11:36:45 PM
I am assuming by small odds you mean those bets where the wins are almost guaranteed, right? In that case, your risk is low, but the profit is also low. You will be getting small profit, but one bet that goes against your prediction, you will lose everything. Imagine winning 10 small odds, and then losing the next one losing all your profit and also making some loss. That would be a waste of time. I would rather prefer betting on one or two big odds. Those that has 50-50 chances. You either win, or you lose.

Both options have risks so you need to weigh the advantages here from your end.
Usually, small odds will really give you high assurance of winning, however, as you said, one loss, your profit will be wiped out.
Either way, I look at this situation as case to case basis. If you are very familiar with the sports that you are betting on, you know which one to place your bet with high percentage of winning.
Small or big odds, it doesn't matter, if you are living and breathing that sports.
3090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do any casinos offer cryptocurrency staking? on: August 06, 2021, 10:54:28 PM
Aside from freebitco.in that offers 4% per annum, I don’t know other platforms that offer such to their users. And now that I think about it, that’s another potential revenue for casinos. Perhaps they should just offer some form of bonuses to users who deposit stake coins, and I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt a lot to a casino that generates lots of revenues from the losses of their peers. They can do it like this: for X amount of days a stakeable token is sitting on an account, the user will be entitled for a Y bonus. It would encourage people to use stake coins, generate profit for the casino on the house edge + stake coins.

Have you heard of betfury - https://betfury.io/? You can stake your BFG tokens and earn dividends in several coins.
You can get daily dividends in BTC, BNB, ETH, TRX, USDT.
This platform is popular to some gamblers here as they recently also offer BFG farming.

Can you also provide the linkedin profile or any other profile references of your team members?
Building a reliable financial ecosystem takes time. You can't claim it at the start of the project.
How do we know that they meet such banking security standards, is there a third party who already audited their system?
3092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Verox - artificial intelligence investment manager for crypto and deFi on: August 05, 2021, 11:15:14 PM
Veroxai Web Beta version is live and running. If someone wants to check it you can visit this link.
I saw the automated trading bot feature in the menu section, to use this feature, how much does it cost?

Since there is a working project and people are already using it, and the price of tokens is growing. We need to continue to develop the ecosystem and add new exchanges for listing. Although there are already enough exchanges now.

VEROX Price (VRX) $386.65 8.82% - The price has also increased by 9%. The initial stage of project development is the most suitable time to buy project tokens. Only you need to carefully choose projects for investment, and the price of Verox continues to grow.

Their price is not bad considering that they are new to DeFi market.
However, you need to be careful because most DeFis are only active in trading at their initial stage of introduction to the market.
Check their use case if it will really be a hit to DeFi customers. Nowadays, it is hard to trust your hard-earned money to new projects.
We need to see them in action and attracting customers. And also, assess their performance after couple of months, usually the price goes down in that period.

So they have your email address to use as a marketing tool or to send notifications.

This

Knowing your email doesnt mean that freebitco.in can send you promotional emails, its your own discretion to allow them to. I had mine ticked off before the WoF started so yeah

They will not lose anything by adding it to the drop down menu....

They lose the ability to send you emails. Im pretty sure that most people dont want to receive these type of emails and on top of that, its a daily promotional emails. So by adding some type of 'rewards' on these emails, most people willingly allow freebitco.in to do send them those emails

That is very right, it is your own prerogative whether you want to receive emails from them or not.
I guess, a lot of players don't remember if they opt out or not or apply any changes under e-mail subscriptions.
People should visit their profile and check also the category - disable lottery & interest. I guess time to check your profile settings.
By the way, am following the price movement of FUN token during this trading competition, but seems that they haven't changed much.
3094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Platform Is Good For Price Speculation and Prediction? on: August 04, 2021, 11:55:21 PM
You really should be careful with all these platforms claiming to offer good price speculation and predictions because from time immemorial, predictions hardly works or do not work, because if it does then a lot of people won't get trapped when the market dumped, if it works a lot of people will be the ones spreading the news about the platform's that helped them with price predictions. Just like it is always being said, crypto is volatile thus you ought to take appropriate actions to ensure you do the right things and as such joining any platform claiming to help with predictions might only end badly.
Rather I would say, if you are a long term investor pay attention on those good coins with working products, they tend to reduce the problem of putting yourself in tension thinking about the market.

Yes it's true Prediction fails many times I have experience and to my knowledge I think we have two type of Analysis

Fundamental Analysis
Technical Analysis

Please In crypto market which one work most?

Seems that you are rushing things here. Crypto trading can't be learned overnight.
Fundamental/Technical Analyses are important here, but they are just only part of your trading skills.
When you are long enough in crypto trading, those analyses are just your guide but when it comes to particular project, better follow their updates and progress.
Some projects don't even follow what you have learned with TAs because they have their own world where their performance depends on what's happening with their developments.
You will find out soon that most of the times here, those TAs/FAs don't matter when it comes to crypto trading.
3095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are MEME Coins A NEW Trend on: August 04, 2021, 11:32:21 PM
With the rise of Doge Coin, there have been countless MEME coins launch on different platform.
What are you thoughts on meme coins? Are they bad for the industry? Or Are they a gateway drug for newbies to enter the game?
Meme coins have flooded the entire crypto market, and most of them are running on BSC since its just like eth blockchain with lesser gas fees, from my point of view meme coins makes the crypto sphere crowded and it makes it feel like a joke, not forgetting the hundreds or thousands of investors who may have lost their money to one shit or the other, shitcoin makes the crypto industry look like a shit show honestly.

Also, most of these meme tokens are created for the sake of the dev team's pockets.
You will observe that most of them have actually no use case whatsoever.
Just riding the hype and trying their luck if they can follow the footsteps of SHIB.
But in my opinion, SHIB is slowly losing its grip as the price is going down.
Won't be surprised if in the very near future SHIB will be abandoned project.
So be very cautious when touching any meme token, their lifespan is very questionable.
3096  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance squeezes users on verification on: August 04, 2021, 10:53:56 PM
At least they warned most people about the KYC. Look what Bittrex and Poloniex did in 2017-2018. They made KYC a surprise. And if you didn't want to complete, your funds were frozen. Even if you wanted to complete KYC, it took months and BTC started to fall in late 2017 and most people missed selling the top. So at least Bitmex and Binance didn't make it a surprise.
Agreed!

Binance is definitely under a lot of pressure to comply to the regulations set by local governments, and I don't see any other way but ask their customer for KYC.

The fact that they warned everyone and gave them a few weeks in advance already sets Binance apart from Bittrex and Poloniex, though they did push it a little when they started reducing max withdrawal amount.

The good thing here is you can still withdraw without KYC, they just reduced the daily limit.
Unlike with bittrex and polo, you can't withdraw without undergoing KYC.
And if in case you want to submit KYC in binance, they have very fast approval. So all in all, it is still better in binance.
What I like with binance is their p2p trading so I don't need to use my local exchange anymore.
And don't forget their insurance system, the SAFU, which will give you peace of mind even if you store some funds in their platform.
3097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Interested in Dogecoin? on: August 03, 2021, 11:59:16 PM
~snip~ we'll see what will happen happened to Dego in the next few years.
Dego or Doge?  Cheesy
Well, I have no idea about the future of Dogecoin although it is already on the top 10 crypto coins. I just doubt if Elon Musk only takes advantage of Dogecoin, he seems not really serious to support Dogecoin for a long time. How if he forgets to make a tweet about Dogecoin in the next few years? In my opinion, I don't see a strong reason for Elon Elon Musk to support Dogecoin. If he tweets about Dogecoin nowadays, he may take advantage of the situation that people take attention to him because his tweets look unusual. He will stop it any time once he realizes it has no effect anymore.

I believe, Elon's initial tweets towards doge is more like a game to him, nothing serious.
And he saw the interest of the community, and that's why he started to be serious about it.
He saw the impact of his tweets to the doge market, making it hit even at the top 4 at some point.
And now, top 8 in the market is still not bad. But if there will be no development progress, its popularity will wane again.
3098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin that two people highly esteem on: August 03, 2021, 11:31:37 PM
Lately I've been seeing tweets from Elon Musk and Matt Wallace who very often glorify Dogecoin and even they both seem to dislike BTC and ETH, thus saying that the Dogecoin transaction system is faster and cheaper than BTC and ETH, even Elon Musk himself immediately said that Dogecoin will be superior to Bitcoin and Ethereum after upgrading.
How do you guys react to this kind of thing?

If it's not for Bitcoin Dogecoin will not exist, in fact, for so many years Dogecoin was ignored by many investors because it's just a meme coin, the reason people are buying Dogecoin is that it is being pumped and shill by these two guys, but after the smoke is cleared we\ll find that Bitcoin and Ethereum are still the top coins in the market.

Because the foundation of btc and eth is more solid than dogecoin.
They need to show first what kind of development progress are they doing to doge.
Because right now, doge's transfer fees from one exchange to another is getting expensive.
We now have TRX or XRP or even LTC, for cheaper fees and fast transaction.
If there will be no progress in doge, soon, we will see that the hype they are creating will die.
3099  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Strange email from Binance on: August 03, 2021, 10:55:14 PM
I never shared my email with anyone. I am not using Binance from desktop very often. Only from my mobile and not every day. I don't know what happened.
Anyway i changed all my passwords.

I had the same notification when i logged in, so the email was not phishing

First, don't click the email sent to you. Better log in directly to your binance account.
Once you access your account, check the notifications sent to you.
Because if there is no notif regarding the sms authentication, then, the email is fake.
Maybe someone is trying to change the mobile number attached to your account.
And I don't think directmail2.binance.com comes from official binance account.

The senders address could be faked. But what do they want from you. Is there a link in the email asking you to visit a webpage?
Why not logging into your binance account to see if there is as well a message. But don't klick on links in emails, please.
3100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid in Bitcoin vs getting paid in Fiat on: August 02, 2021, 09:56:59 PM
I can't say anything about such a system at the state level, but at the level of business it is very convenient to use cryptocurrency for payment. In my business there are many clients who prefer to use cryptocurrency for payment. And I can make dozens of transactions in one day - receive bitcoins from one client and transfer etherium to another. It is very convenient that I have payperless crypto wallet, because I can easily convert currencies and deposit money from my bank card. If I had all these operations in fiat, the commission would be few times bigger as well as the time it takes to do it.

There's really advantage of using crypto in terms of payment service.
Not only dozens of transactions, but thousands if you want for reduced fees.
I hope more merchants or shops will appreciate those benefits when it comes to crypto transactions.
But in case you are an employee and you are a long time crypto user.
You will prefer to get paid in fiat, because you already know how to buy your own crypto.
In this manner, you are directly getting your bitcoin without other third party charging you some fees.
