3081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: November 30, 2021, 08:04:00 AM
^^ But it probably will slow down Donaire, he is already 39 years old and I think for most boxers, they are already in their downside of their career. And I don't think that Donaire can sustain and fight at this age. So maybe if ever he lost, he might contemplate in retiring and probably take one hard fight and then call it quits. Let the young Gaballo take over for the Filipinos and hopefully he can live up to the hype.
3082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 30, 2021, 07:12:11 AM
I'm looking forward to watching this game it's Dec 3 in our country what about you guys?

I hope the Suns will not lose to the Pistons before the game with GSW and the Lakers will face against Clippers for the first time this season. these two teams are possible to face each other in the NBA playoffs.

Phoenix
vs
Golden St.
10:00 pm
Yep, already looking or this great match already, this is Dec. 1 game though. I'm very exciting with this game that I already put a bet on Golden St. specially that they are the underdogs in this game.

But who wouldn't? The Suns have the longest streak and obviously, they are the better team in paper. But Golden St. too, except for the bump in the road against the Hornets, they started another winning streak of them and have been winning in double digits. They are going to travel to Phoenix though, but still I think they will manage to win in this very close game. We might see this going into overtime.
3083  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-11-27] El Salvador celebrates Black Friday, buys 100 BTC for 20% off on: November 30, 2021, 06:30:49 AM
^^ Well it's obvious that the President will have to sell their bitcoins at a premium price.

But as mentioned, we have a new virus strained that is much worst that the current one, and entering the month of December which is historically bullish for bitcoin, it might not be the case as people are going to be in the middle and undecided to buy bitcoin unless everything has settled down again which might take another quarter. So I would say maybe we should say goodbye to that 6 digits price we all looking for this December, just saying.
3084  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dream Bitcoin 100k on: November 29, 2021, 10:58:08 PM
When Bitcoin goes down from 80 to 29, it goes up and down there for a while. But now it is going up and down again. But 50k the moment it is fluctuating again. I have learned from some news outlets that many people have exchanged views that Bitcoin will cross 100k by the end of this year. I would like to know the opinion of the members of the forum.

no, it looks like the bitcoin price won't reach $100k until the end of the year. We can see the price of bitcoin at the moment, which is around $54,262, the current state of the bitcoin price we can't predict and it could be that the price of bitcoin will decline again.
Reddish stock market due to the new variant of the Corona Virus which prompted a sell-off in risk assets.
Maybe we won't see $100k, but bitcoin is on the state of recovery as of today going to $58k and counting. And perhaps at the end of the year, maybe $70k-$80k is not that bad at all for us. Yes, we wanted 6 digit at the end of the year, who doesn't? But it can wait right. We can still target it for q1-q2 next year. So crossing our fingers that we should still see a good price this 2021.
3085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with a potential like the Ethereum. on: November 29, 2021, 10:28:12 PM
^^ Technically, Eth2.0 has been released Since Dec, 2019 but due to how they roll it out, it is on a Phase, i.e Phase 0, Phase 1 etc.

I think we already know which coin has been Eth competitor is the last year or so. BSC is one who floats around and it seems that it is doing good in the market as well, and then we have SOL who is recent and again, ADA. But I don't see anyone toppling Eth for good as the best altcoin, it is a prime mover in this crypto so it's hard to imagine seeing them losing the consensus in the market.

Regarding the Lakers, honestly I don't know what's going on, LeBron, AD, Westbrook, DeAndre Jordan, Melo and others players, with this roster, LAL was supposed to be "a monster" and all the other teams were afraid to play against them. But unfortunately I don't see it, I don't see so much chemistry or introverted with players.
In my humble opinion, I believe LJ could stand out more, AD I also think his performance is underwhelming and a player I thought could be a key player for the Lakers, Deandre Jordan, I realize he's not. having that old-time performance!

It's a badly put together group of aging all-stars, that's why.

Maybe 5 years ago if you assembled the same team it would be considered a super-team, but pretty much everyone involved (apart from AD) are way past their primes.

If you need Carmelo to be carrying your team when LBJ is away... You're in deep trouble.
I agree that it was badly put aging team, that's true no one can deny it. But maybe they are banking that this players are going to be still a good support to LBJ. Even if LBJ is away, they can still play day in day out an produce some wins. And it was very close, there are games that they could have get that W, maybe it they didn't struggle shooting or commit a lot of turnovers.

I guess still boils down to LBJ carrying the Lakers team, but problem is that he is also no longer in his prime so there could be games that he will missed or he will played inconsistent.
3087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 29, 2021, 09:44:13 PM
^^ Tyson losing or if this fight ends in draw could be a scam itself.

Again as I have said before, they have done it before when the judges score a draw in the fight of Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. For me Tyson clearly won that fight and he was the favorite that time. And the only winner is the sport bookies, and that's why I'm going to skip this exhibition match for good because of that sad experience of this fight being rigged.
3088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - November 27 on: November 29, 2021, 12:18:59 PM
Wonder how Lopez would talk after this fight. Will he still claim that he is the greatest? Will he still say that Lomachenko is fighting with leftovers? I am writing this post and smiling. First title WBA, WBO and Rings belts defense and a loss. I think he should reconsider his attitude to a rematch against Lomachenko, or it will be boring for him in division. I doubt that his next fight will be a rematch against Kambosos.
I think the Lopez will continue what they have been doing for the past few years, talk trash. I don't think they will slow down even though they've clearly lost this fight. And I thought that the fight was not even close to be honest, but at least Kambosos got the nod from the 2 judges. Of course, he will now think of a rematch specially if Loma will win against RC via knock out. Bob Arum insists that he go after Josh Taylor, but I think that is not a good idea in my opinion.
3089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 27, 2021, 07:34:56 AM
Even if he announces that he got the vaccination for real or not he will
come under a lot of criticism from his anti-vaccination supporters, it
will be a big thing for him to defend his decision to go against everything
he talked about before. It will be very interesting to see what he does.

There are a lot of athletes as well, like in the NBA who are not playing because they don't want to get vaccinated, just Irving. And there are some who changes stance, because they are going to lose a lot of money if they don't play.

Will he forgo his opinions in pursuit of an almost guaranteed 21st GS
win at his favourite event?

How will he react if he gets vaccinated and loses at the AO?

Probably this is his goal and that's why he is willing to take now the vaccine after his hard line stance before. So winning for him is the most important thing. Well still a win-win for him even if he losses the AO. Vaccine is more important, in my opinion.
3090  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if $70k was Bitcoin ATH for the year? on: November 26, 2021, 06:48:04 PM
Guys we are getting worried for nothing. Let people sell if they want to, what is the point of investing into bitcoin if we are not going to sell and get rid of these problems? I mean it is clear that we need to actually have some sort of selling time to time and let people sell because that is the natural order of any market.
I'm just quite unhappy not seeing it break $60k but that's it. You're right that we're worried for nothing, bitcoin is still above $50k and this is a good price. Expecting that it would go according to what we're thinking should be stopped since it's moving on its own and even if we like to see it at top so quick, that won't happen. And to those that are selling, we have nothing against them because we're also selling when others don't like us to sell so it's fair and normal to see people sell.
This is the risk of investing in Bitcoin, sometimes we have to accept the fact that Bitcoin does not always work as we expect. We also cannot blame
other people for selling their Bitcoins, because there is no compulsion to continue holding Bitcoin. But what I believe is that people who can be
patient holding Bitcoin, will eventually get paid for their patience. We know based on the history of Bitcoin movement, how deep the Bitcoin price
goes down, one day it will definitely go higher again. So I decided to hold my current Bitcoin, even though the Bitcoin price still hasn't returned to $60k.
But I'm still optimistic that Bitcoin will be bullish again as long as the Bitcoin price doesn't drop below $50k.
There's no one to blame if the price don't go accordingly to what we've been thinking. It is what it is and we have to embrace and accept that due to the fact that it's always volatile no matter what you think of it. Sometimes we're disappointed but it won't stop us from thinking that it's going to be bullish again, actually, it's still bullish and the price that it's sitting right now is still high. Despite the crash that has came, it remains at $57k.

Maybe you and some people who have been in the crypto world for a long time understand how Bitcoin works, so don't worry if it turns out that
the price of Bitcoin does not reach the price we predicted. But for newbies, this is something that not only makes them disappointed, but some
newbies panic, and decide to cut loss. That's why I always say over and over that before deciding to invest in Bitcoin, make sure we've
learned everything about Bitcoin. So at least understand how Bitcoin works, don't buy Bitcoin because it is influenced by other people.
Regarding the current Bitcoin price I agree with you, that it is still in a bullish trend, meaning that it is still very likely that the price of Bitcoin
will rise again near the end of the year.

It's either they've be disappointed for not reaching at least 6 digits and get out of the market or invest in altcoins or any other financial instruments. Or simply remain in the market and really try to understand how it works and become a mature investors.

So still a positive for them if you look at the bright side of it. Yeah, we are still in the bullish of trend and most likely we will bounce on December. But I'm not expecting a $100k price at majority of us now are looking at.
3091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 26, 2021, 06:27:27 PM
LA Clippers to win Detroit Pistons and cover the spread.
For watching games live NBA League Pass is on Black Friday 50% sale off the regular price until the end of Cyber Monday.
Although Pistons have been losing, they are very competitive in early game, it's just they always felt short and losing on 5 points only. So yeah, LA Clippers could win this game but it will be very tough game for them. I like Detroit +11.5 here.

Chicago Bulls might bounce back today against the Orlando Magic after they have been upset by the Rockets.
3092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 26, 2021, 09:41:53 AM
Lavine and DeRozan are currently in the top 6 and 7 respectively in the PPG ranking this season.

What do you think are their chances of winning the MVP?
Will one of them beat the top 3 now (Curry, Durant, and Giannis)?

I like to hear some thoughts since the Bulls are really surprising me this season, I'm sure not only me.  Smiley
It's a big surprise indeed. I mean, you cannot expect that much chemistry with a roster that has new players being injected. The same with the Wizards shockingly being on the top of the East last week.
About MVP run, this is kind of in the unpredictable discussions. Durant is doing great putting the Nets offense in his shoulders and there is still Jokic and Doncic that should be considered. One health and safety protocol could make the top players miss a lot of games and the others on the top 4 below could surpass them easily.
I can't decide who will win this but if injuries/covid are set aside, it could be Curry. He is in the zone.

Yes, if GSW will continue it's winning streak and Curry getting his second straight scoring title maybe we can see a unanimous votes for him as MVP. But as you have said, Doncic's magic is still there and we all know that in the beginning, he was the odds favorite to win the MVP. Last year we didn't see Jokic winning until after the All-Star Break if I'm not mistaken. So I guess it is still open but Curry by far is above the rest right now. Being the top seed though doesn't mean a thing in the MvP race.
3093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Musk the boss behind SHIB? on: November 26, 2021, 09:05:01 AM
Is Musk the boss behind SHIB? Is there an advantage within the future? I am hopeful that SHIB's execution is as great as DOGE Smiley Can somebody clarify, thank you
Not sure how you come up with this idea, he goes to public that he has bitcoin and doge, which he shills a lot. But I haven't heard him saying that he has SHIB too, and maybe investors think otherwise, that's why they try to correlate his name with SHIB and then the huge pump. Again, this is just a meme coin so it's going to be pump and then followed by a huge dump so we need to be very careful when investing on a hype coin, just saying.
3094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Facts about gambling addiction on: November 26, 2021, 08:06:58 AM
Interesting to see this fact:

"5. A research study found that 75% of gamblers had an alcohol disorder, 38% had a drug use disorder, and 60% were nicotine dependent."

And that's what I saw on traditional based casinos, they drink and they smoke and then they gamble and lose because their decision making is very clouded by the substance that they are taking.

But there are some who doesn't have any addiction to any of the vices mentioned and yet they still become gambling addicts. Truly, gambling is really one of a kind, as we can't really control ourselves once we become addicted to it.
3095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors prefer coin memes, new trends or seasonal henya? on: November 25, 2021, 01:05:01 PM
Hype. Talking coin memes. There's a SANTA token. This is a token class that is currently booming. The beginning and introduced is this year November 2021, and quickly developed an online community that can not be strong stand alone in this first week. The chart is beautiful you still want to delay this good momentum? Wink
Yeah, but the question is that if it can sustain that kind of run? As you have said, this is just a meme coins so everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. But sooner or later if might see a huge dump specially if people have taken enough profits already.

So this is dangerous for noobs who wanted to enter the market and think that this is a get rich scheme as they can be trap with all this meme coins and hype tokens coming in the market.
3096  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 25, 2021, 10:36:30 AM
based on the performance of Market this time? and for the whole year? I think Bull will never leave the market till the next Halving.

yes there are some bearish moment but this will keep on climbing back like what had happened several times from january .
there are some hard deep like  bellowing 30k recently but look at it, making its comeback and makes even higher.

So no BULL TRAP instead it will keep Bull running .

No bull trap but there are correction which is dangerous for new traders which easily get panic towards the movement happening in the market. But lets still not disclose this possibility since there's still chances that we might go on huge decline. But hopefully this will never happen this year since if we can see these to happen for sure many will be dismay on what happen to the crypto market and might it will affect its growing adoption.
Well new trades can take this as positive, enter when the price is on a correction and just continue to hold. So I don't think this is dangerous for them, although it might take some time before they learn a lot in this market specially if it's on a decline. Fundamentals is still growing strong though, so we should remain bullish up to the end of the year and not think of this as a bull trap.
3097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - November 27 on: November 25, 2021, 09:08:54 AM
2 days more before the fight .

Already placing bets for Lopez as he will surely win this fight , any thoughts from Kambosos fans here? Grin

This might last for couple of rounds but surely it is Lopez who will get the win.

Kambosos is just another challenger in my opinion, I don't see anything special, although he always said that he come from the trenches or something like that. Meaning he works his ass off to have this mandatory against the champion and will take this opportunity.

But Lopez is just above any fighter in the 135 lbs, maybe in the same level as Tank Davis and Ryan Garcia, and the rest is below them including the tough Australian.
3098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: November 25, 2021, 08:41:39 AM
I think this is big fight for Jerwin and soon maybe we can see a unified champion in this division. The other belt is being held by Juan Francisco Estrada, the WBA/WBC.

So if ever Jerwin win this fight, we might see a unification bout with Estrada next year and this will be huge. We all know that Estrada is a very though fighter as well, just concluded his match with Chocolatito and it is a war. So hopefully a Ancajas vs Estrada could be made and this is the fight that I wanted to see.
3099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 25, 2021, 08:13:41 AM
It was a great game between the Suns and the Cavaliers.

I have the Suns on a parlay -5.5 but damn, the score is 115-120 in favor of the Suns so it didn't cover my handicap, thus my bet got rekt in the first game.

Good win by Houston though, they beat one of the best team which is the Bulls.
That's the thing with parlay betting though, just one lost and your bet are totally destroyed.

Yes, Houston putting a big numbers and winning against the Bulls, not sure if someone has bet on the Rockets winning this game. I can't remember the odds but for sure it is huge.

As expected though, the Warriors with another blow out win, it's hard to bet against them specially in their home turf. And everyone scored on the roster in this game.
3100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin makes new ATH. More ATHs to come shortly. on: November 24, 2021, 11:04:57 PM
The market at present isn't able to gain momentum for forward push. It has been moving within particular price point. Upon which there is more chance of a bear trend than a bullish move. The market won't move upward all the time, it also requires time to correct itself.

The market moves will continue to drop down to $50k and then we can expect gradual rise, because during the month of December there'll be more selling as it is vacation. Maybe some positive news could impact the market turn bullish.
It is true that market is failing to gain momentum and it is trapped between the 50k and the 60k levels, this means that investors are undecided, there is no clear trend to follow however to me that is not such a big issue, if we think about it this is great, we have a ranging price that is half way there to 6 figures, that is amazing and it would have been unthinkable just a few years ago, so while I still think the market could grow even more I am satisfied by what we have seen this year.
Exactly, that is the term "undecided", but it doesn't mean that they will have this mindset for a long time. Maybe right now they don't know what to do, whether to invest or not, but sooner or later they will have to make a decision for themselves and I'm optimistic that this will be very positive and bullish movement could occur once we enter December. And I don't see it dropping to $50k, we've seen the lowest at $55k and it won't go down hard unless there is a massive FUD again next month.
