Hmm, these are some interesting points! Well, I confess I'm surprised with the Suns' performance, I would never imagine that. I don't know, but I believe that in the Suns vs Warriors game, Phoenix will need to play really well to beat GSW. I'm so excited to watch this game! Regarding the Lakers, honestly I don't know what's going on, LeBron, AD, Westbrook, DeAndre Jordan, Melo and others players, with this roster, LAL was supposed to be "a monster" and all the other teams were afraid to play against them. But unfortunately I don't see it, I don't see so much chemistry or introverted with players. In my humble opinion, I believe LJ could stand out more, AD I also think his performance is underwhelming and a player I thought could be a key player for the Lakers, Deandre Jordan, I realize he's not. having that old-time performance! Anyway, I hope that with the passing of the regular season the Lakers will be able to get back on their feet and get a place to play in this season's playoffs!

It's a badly put together group of aging all-stars, that's why. Maybe 5 years ago if you assembled the same team it would be considered a super-team, but pretty much everyone involved (apart from AD) are way past their primes. If you need Carmelo to be carrying your team when LBJ is away... You're in deep trouble.

That would not happen 5 years ago as Lebron could not afford the players who are still at their prime. It's their first season together, lots of changes in the team so we should understand the struggle, besides, the season is still ongoing, it's still early so they can still continue working to do the right blend. Just be optimistic, they'll figure it out eventually, believe me. If you need Carmelo to be carrying your team when LBJ is away... You're in deep trouble.
Why would you need Carmelo if the team has Westbrook who is an All-Star and previously won an MVP and a Triple double machine?

Why would you need Carmelo if the team has Westbrook who is an All-Star and previously won an MVP and a Triple double machine? They've had 20 games and they're exactly .500. If that's not a disappointment I don't know what is. Westbrook is as inefficient of a scorer as they come, sir. He's proven time and time again in the playoffs that he is not to be relied on as a primary option. What happens when LBJ goes down? Are you counting on Westbrook to post them to the finals? I wouldn't be optimistic.

But maybe they are banking that this players are going to be still a good support to LBJ. Even if LBJ is away, they can still play day in day out an produce some wins. And it was very close, there are games that they could have get that W, maybe it they didn't struggle shooting or commit a lot of turnovers. I guess still boils down to LBJ carrying the Lakers team, but problem is that he is also no longer in his prime so there could be games that he will missed or he will played inconsistent.

Probably this is the worst season of Westbrook but people will forget that if they will get into the NBA Finals, so they better keep grinding to win and be consistent.

That's a good topic we can debate. I believe that this season's Lakers team is something similar to the 12-13 roster (if I'm not mistaken). The Lakers built a super team with Nash, KB, Metta World Peace, Gasol and Howard, almost the entire team was all star player at that time. They put together this super team to be able to beat the great Miami Heat trio at that time (LeBron, Wade and Bosh) and at the end of the story, if I'm not mistaken, the Lakers didn't even manage to qualify for the playoffs. It was a sad thing. I don't know if this season's team can be compared to that, but with the level of the players they were definitely meant to be top of the western conference.

But he blend well with the Wizards last year with Bradley Beal and lead them to their first playoff in years.
But I do agree that Westbrook games suffered a lot when he moves in Lakers this year. I'm not sure what is the reason, maybe he is no longer in his prime because he is missing a lot of shots and usually when he drives to the basket, it's automatic 2. But now he is being strip before he can take off, or missed badly. Maybe his vertical leap is no longer there, but it seems a different Russ now.

Terrible news for Denver fans. Michael Porter Jr is having season ending back surgery. I was saying a few weeks ago this was going to be his breakout season, but much like his career so far, that will be ended by injury. A shame. Michael Porter Jr probably could have been a top 3 NBA player had he stayed healthy, but at this point it’s beginning to look like that day will never come.
Yeah wow that is terrible. Snake bit again. If they had a full healthy squad together they'd be one of the favorites to comtend. Was this the same injury he had when he was at Missouri? Shame injuries kill great careers, lots of luck to stay consistently healthy in these high impact sports.

Lakers are far from being superteam when they built that lineup. Nash is already out of his prime. Kobe is suffering injuries. MWP, Gasol, and Howard are also not on their monster stats anymore. That era was on Miami Heat. Since the last championship in 2010 and Dallas sweeping them in the playoffs in 2011, the Lakers are already out of the championship discussion.

No. That's not the point. It's just that those aging All-Stars in the Lakers are seemed not to fit. But we are not talking about Lakers are really at the bottom. They are winning. They are competing. They are doing not their best, but they trying. Although when we take this discussion to the chance of being a championship this season, they are still far from being a competitor but always possible to be included on the competitive list.

It's indeed a different Russ we're seeing now, I guess that could be as a result of not being the go to guy anymore, he was brought to the Lakers to complement an already good team, not because he was a missing piece and the need to adjust his game to be able to play together with AD and James might have taken a toll on him too, but I expect him to get better as the season progresses further.

I agree to a certain extend, but we already have 20 games already and they are barely above the .500 mark, so I would say it's kinda disappointing and I don't know if they can still progresses even further with the current lineup. And Vogel has been tweaking a lot with young players like THT giving him more time, and yet the outcome seems to be not there.

Bad losing streak for Jokic's team but I read he's been cleared to play again. It would be great to see the emotions fkying again but too bad that Morris is ruled out in this game hehe. Who you got? Nuggets have been winning against the Heat lately but my money is on the home team.

The Jokic brothers are sitting right behind Denver’s bench. Wish I could watch this game. I’m sure there’s going to be some chippy attitudes out there. As soon as Jokic and Butler have a go at each other things could get crazy… Butler likes to try and maintain his bully image, but Jokic would slap the taste out of his mouth. Surely there will be some good moments…

I thought he's playing but Jimmy is also missing in this game. I wasn't aware that he's out due to a Tailbone injury. It's quite sloppy of me not following all injury updates before placing my bet but I still didn't expect them to play badly in the first half. They're playing better in the third quarter but I'm not hopeful they could turn things around in the fourth.

After a 6 losing streak finally they got another win. Bam Adebayo and Jokic stats are almost identical, Bam did step up his game when they need to because Butler is out. But, it's not enough to win the game for Jokic also had his help from the bench. Gordon and Bones for their offense and Campazzo being a pest for Lowry to avoid him from heating up. I wish this will be a start for the Nuggets team to go back in the higher seed of the West.

You are right with their performance, it's quite disappointing, but it's indeed what haters expect from them they've been criticized even before the start of this season, more LeBron haters see this trade as liable of the team,. Russ still not fitting himself with the way LeBron and Davis are playing. If I'm the one to choose, I'll be going with Melo instead of Russ. he's more on moving without the ball and waiting for the passed coming from both LeBron and AD,.

You said a very important factor. I confess that most players were not in their prime, but even so I believed that this "super team" would make it to the playoffs, but not right! Oh... another point is, Phil Jackson at that time was the head coach of the Lakers (if I'm not mistaken). Jackson was one of the best head coaches in the NBA (of course that's my opinion) And Jackson was the head coach of the Lakers in the early 2000s, when he directed the Kobe and Shaq dynasty. At that time, they had an excellent team (Nash, KB, MWP, Gasol and Howard) and if I'm not mistaken, Odom was also on that team (correct me if I'm wrong), and finally, the LAL had one of the best coaches at that time. !
