3081  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My definition of Bitcointalk.org on: September 20, 2021, 03:51:47 PM

Well said Sir,
That is why I am not always pleased when some older members tackle newbies by asking them if they cannot just use an ordinary Google search.  Google answers are always static, if you do not understand, you have to re-search with other keywords. But in this forum, you will get your answers in different versions (technical and less technical). Learning while interacting is a good way to learn. No matter how often the questions appear, we should be willing to answer, or at most ignore instead of discouraging the poster.
The main reason is Google articles cannot be authenticated like if there is article which have some misleading information then there is no comments under it that will correct the mistake but here on the forum you can have detailed as well as authentic information provided by members. If there is any wrong information in the post the members who are aware about it will quote it to correct you and others can simply learn from it.You can always use in built forum search options with your keywords and have all the relevant posts about it filtered with different factors like tim and date also. Moreover you can google about it also but always remember what you read online may or may not be true so it's your responsibility to gain knowledge and verify it from other sources.

Forum is great teacher but only for the students who are willing to gain knowledge about it as still many are following the same old rat race in that trap so come out of it and explore different article and read all the guides on forum to have efficient knowledge about them.

Now they are taking some great advantage of these small dips for their benefits and holding 700 bitcoins and another news is that more than 1.1 million residents now have Chivo wallet downloaded grown from half a million in few days.

The other countries are arousing by this and soon more will be added to the list.
3084  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: September 19, 2021, 05:02:15 PM

But right now, as far as Youtube is concerned, we're dealing with a bunch of amateurs acting like trained journalists or academics, and there's really no way of knowing what someone's background is when you're watching their videos.  But they all seem to be operating by the same cookie-cutter playbook, and what we're all left with is a bunch of sheep doing the same thing in order to produce the same style of content to get the same results per Youtube's algorithm.  That means everything has to be family-friendly, of a certain length, and in addition to that usually means there's always going to be some kind of product sponsorship mentioned in the videos.  It's maddening.
This has become some type of headache to watch such videos and seeing how the hell people can believe what those unprofessional youtubers are chanting to the viewers. The YouTube recommendation algorithm is set up in a way that once you watch any of them you will start having them in your homepage and same thing is happening with people like they searched for bitcoin in the hype then they will come across those fake ideologies which will preach them how to make millions in bitcoin without doing nothing and installing those fake sponsored apps.In the name of trend the rise of such videos have gone too high and those who have zero knowledge are also making videos about them. These are not fake and you can have a look at them yourself and if you are aware of bitcoin working then you would bleed sometimes to exaggerate watching and listening to them.Their main aim is to gain your single view and earn from it and they are earning not you with all these clickbait titles making you all fool.

As an aside, while we're on the subject of Youtube: something I saw yesterday made me want to rip my pubes out: a fairly young woman quit her PhD program to become a full-time Youtuber.  She said in one of her videos that she connects more with her subscribers than she does with anyone in her academic program.  That's repulsive to me, because I see people being satisfied less with face-to-face communication and more through texts and likes and comments.  Now I know PhD studies are notoriously hard, but choosing to be a Youtube celebrity/influencer over a career in academia or research is baffling to me.  And then there's this woman who quit her PhD program and puts a lot of blame on "the patriarchy".  Ugh.
So another one where they are showing some fake connection between them and their youtube family.I also don't understand if you are unable to communicate to a person face to face with whom you can share lot of things and exchange ideas in person then how can you have chit chat with online friends? See i know some persons are introvert and they like to make online relation but all these things like giving up carrier in PHD just for YouTube videos is not a good move. But the reason is you can earn a lot on YouTube if you gain subscriber and views on your video but is she gonna interact with them daily and left her carrier for just this as she was not communicating with others? These are some kind of online and fake things on which we can't have faith.

Now, having written that rant, where the bitcointalk channel at??
We are already four days up from mid September and there might be green signal anytime from @Cyrus about the channel.
3085  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 19, 2021, 01:55:21 PM
Dear Lord, dear Chartbuddy, dear Elon and all the others mighty enough to move the BTC price with the blink of an eye:

Please make the price do something so that we can leave these pointless and exclusively dividing vaccination arguments behind us and get back to lovely SOMA TA with dragon drawings, rollercoaster memes, lengthy AI novels, lightning appraisal, ranch and sea property development progress reports and planning of the 1M party.
I would prefer an increase, but hell if it takes a nose dive to stop this hateful crap I'll be fine with it too.

Amen.Weeeeeh!

The same demand for me also to get above these price level of $45k-$48k and it's seems like they just move up and down in these bars only from a long time but the birds want to be free out of cage to touch the heights and for that a joint efforts ar needed.

Hope this all over soon and we enjoy our ATH party again with all those poetic statements made by you in peace.
3086  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 19, 2021, 01:36:33 PM

If you read my previous post, there is a 2-years interval of inactivity before the site could delete your account and all you need to prevent that is to login atleast once to reset the timer.
And thag should not be a problem because we simply need to login into our account and not place any bet so that it doesn't come under inactive category for a long period. It hardly takes any time to just login into your account as we do normal stuff also on vacations.Better prevent such situation from arising.

I doubt that, ToS is basically just wall of text that people never read but we need to agree on it otherwise we cant create account.
Most probably but there are certain implications that we should read all the necessary details like account related, deposit and withdrawal issue in Tos so that we should not face any problem later on.Just a five minute reading could save us later on to prevent us messing up things later on.
3087  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 19, 2021, 01:23:14 PM
these several days Rollbit always posted about NFT on Twitter, and I have been surprised they launch NFT Rollboxes afterward.

Seems Rollbit always makes a new improvement and always follow the new trend at the moment, they are very serious about development, which can't make the player boring and make the player always stand on Rollbit cause all you want to have on Rollbit.

Seems someone already won $13k worth of NFT by wagering only $25 - https://twitter.com/rollbitcom/status/1439250362326605829

This is something new and it seems they are into the NFT trend now and putting their hands on and coping up with the latest trends and developing things accordingly. This NFT from Rollboxes is new to me as i was not aware of this amazing gameplay.Once again Rollbit has shown it is developing the latest things for players excitement and new exposure. Will try it.
3088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not invested then do it now... on: September 19, 2021, 01:07:06 PM
for people that don't have any risk or big money to spend then it is not best to invest in bitcoin now, because the price of bitcoin is a bit too steep for normal people to invest in. instead maybe try to invest in altcoins and do day trading so that you can work your way up and finally invest in bitcoin.
The issue is not the prices but time being passed away and they still ignoring it like in the past which is worse case.Like you are saying prices are high which is correct but when they were down many years ago like $2-$3 have people invested then or even at $10k ? And who is asking you to invest for whole bitcoin when you can easily have the most smallest unit Satoshi also with any amount you wish to do so.Only whales and initial investors are sitting with more bitcoins and others have done DCA to acquire more and more. You can also invest $1000 and get your Bitcoins and no need to go for 1 bitcoin. But the concern is you do it timely.People will always have excuses but in reality they are ignoring their future security.
3089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Past three months bitcoin journey on: September 19, 2021, 12:50:32 PM
I also do the same, because I have an overweight body so I deduct a few percent of my food needs to add to my regular investment every month from the rest of my salary.
and I have been running this program since last month and the result I lost 5kg and I am very happy, and besides that my investment also increased because there was an addition from my food ration which I reduced and my investment was made for the long term and only bitcoin was prioritized.
my weight loss target is 25kg and currently only 5kg still remaining 20kg and i will do it until i reach my target weight and keep cutting my food ration every month to increase my investment so i get two benefits, one i can lose weight body gradually, and both my investment so there is an increase.
Reducing these types of expenses have not only physical benefits but also have some financial ones like in our case.If not investing in bitcoin then also you should control these types of junk food habits not leave them completely i would say but cut your budget from them and save the funds in any way you see good.Like in your case you have set weight loss targets and investing the same amount which will give you good return in future. But i would also say if you have invested in bitcoin then don't panic with these small or big dips if you are planning to hold for long term.

My case is entirely different that i have not set any limits that i need this much profit or will invest till this time as my extra funds which were earlier wasted on junk food are now being diverted to it and i want to hold them for 3-4 years or more and have not any expectations due to which the fluctuations don't bother me.But always have your investment planned in best possible way so you don't face any financial problems.

Never imagined that the pattern or candles are forming such characters Grin  So will it blow all the bears with single fire blow? Soon $50k again and this mouse trap is going to be over soon and fed up of this.
3091  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Thread creation way to support the forum. on: September 18, 2021, 04:48:00 PM
Creating thread per se does not help. Creating or posting in interesting threads, that drive views is.
Exactly creating more and more threads that have no utility or purpose to serve on the forum is just waste of time and efforts so it's better not to indulge in such things but get yourself busy in constructive posting like replying in technical or some good discussion thread which is promoting some healthy conversation on the forum that will benefit you as member of the forum and on the opposite side forum will have less users with spam posting and other wasteful stuff. For example if there are tons of

- plagiarism related threads
- forum rules
- how to earn on the forum

These types of threads are already in abundance and you can just search for them and have information if required but if you are also making same threads it will never be categorised as constructive thread or quality post so it's better to avoid them.
3092  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 18, 2021, 01:38:50 PM
Regular depositors or players would always have the advantage and it isn't really just not shocking that they would really be prioritizing to those people who do make out deposits compared to those free players or just earning on free rollovers or bets but I do agree in terms of their promotions which is somewhat decent and are really good.
-snip-
In principle, I agree with you, but one must not forget that such actions also have a very high advertising value. This can now lead to a player who just quickly created an account at Roobet but never played suddenly gets a free bonus, gambles it away and notices how much he/she actually likes Roobet -> this leads to further deposits and possibly even further members if the person tells his/her friends about it.

I therefore find the way Roobet has distributed the bonus very good, so everyone could benefit from it.
Every promotional activity has connection with generation of profits out of it and same goes with the Roobet bonus distribution this time. The players who got free and random rewards might get interested in playing on the casino out of which casino will get profits and this is how they make money.
3093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Past three months bitcoin journey on: September 18, 2021, 12:52:37 PM
Due to some work i was busy and not able to update the charts of my DCA investment for the regular 4th Month into bitcoin. It was happily going and contrary to others these dips were not shaking me off but giving me chance to stack more coins at some discounted rates. So here goes my bitcoin investment weekly journey ready to be shared with you:

4th Month Investments

Week     Investment    Bitcoin aqquired       At price

Week 1: $55                 0.00115                   $47786.53
Week 2: $65                 0.00094                  $46389.44
Week 3: $75                 0.00114                  $49291.20
Week 4: $85                 0.00147                  $48989.18

How many btc were acquired this time : BTC 0.0058

I am sharing this with you guys not because as show off or something like that but just to promote bitcoin investment healthy culture among the community so that more and more people get inspired from it and invest for their future not waste them on junk foods and any other shitcoins. There are lot of other coins but my priority is to one and only bitcoin and says only one.

One other good news that although i am cutting my junk food expenses and at accumulation phase buying more and more btc there are two positive points that have helped me with this.

I am already in profits and holding them for long term and don't mind the prices now and imagine the time when it will be worth more

The second part is to my surprise is that i lose my 6-7 kilos weight and some minor problems which were due to junk food have been resolved now.So now having btc has helped me to remain fit and give me profits meanwhile.I don't know why people criticize it as they are just going the wrong way.

Now going for next month journey guys Wink

Adoption at this small level is great achievement for bitcoin like if they don't fear it and are ready to accept bitcoin who survives on daily earning then we should not take step back and have our coins also.

HODL strong and have peace sleep cold winds are coming to break $50k barrier soon again.
3095  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 17, 2021, 03:32:08 PM

So she would also agree that most of the so called currencies are not backed up by any so called federal reserve?

But yes she has not mentioned bitcoin in her statement so if she is taking about all those shitcoins then she's visionary Grin
3096  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: September 17, 2021, 03:23:34 PM
Honestly, I wouldn't be too critical if Bitcointalk did clickbait to some degree. Maybe, not to the degree I went to above, but a more subtle way. It's great being as fair as possible, without generating clickbait, but then the chances are success fall. If you don't care overly about success then that's alright, but it's likely that the channel will need to at least generate some sort of independent income to keep it going.
These are some tricks to have views on the video uploaded on YouTube as most of the audience is attracted to that type of videos and you are right on that part like if the video says "how bitcoin works " or the other is "how to make millions using bitcoin" then undoubtedly more views will be on the later one and the first one will have less interaction.

The Bitcointalk channel should have some better thumbnails and it can have some clickbait titles to some extent which will not be problematic actually because the audience will get the requisite knowledge for the same purpose for which video was uploaded unlike those channels who put such thumbnail and have nothing in the name of content and usually waste time in channel and fake promotion. If you have some clickbait titles as promotional technique then the video should be of that quality also.

The images are taken from Google just for reference purposes and yes they are not the original ones as they have not been shared for the privacy purposes and the main purpose was just to give the reference of the interview to the grocery store but the interview was conducted actually.
3098  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 17, 2021, 03:01:22 PM
Mostly algorithms don't work on luck based slots and you have to only place bet and rest lies on your destiny
-snip-
I see it the same way. I always have to smile when someone here on the forum wants to sell their algorithms or bots and promises the buyers that they will make infinitely high profits with them. There is simply no strategy or algorithm in games that are based to a very large extent on luck that actually works.

The only one who gets rich with it is the seller.
That is what i wonder that how people are convinced that some bot setup could hep them win big on luck based slots whose outcome is completely random and you cannot write up all the possible outcomes in the code as you don't know them.As you said there are big wins but only to the seller who was successful in his attempt. But still people are getting trapped in such things which is bad to see.
3099  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 17, 2021, 02:53:08 PM
I believe it is random, not based on how active you are or how much is your current balance.
I think I can confirm that. One of my buddies just created an account but never deposited on Roobet and therefore never played a single game - and still got the bonus. He is of course insanely happy about it, I, on the other hand, am a bit disappointed Wink My mailbox is unfortunately empty, so I didn't receive the bonus.

Nevertheless, I think this is a very nice campaign from Roobet!
Those who were lucky got their rewards in form of bonus from the Roobet and it's completely random as confirmed by you.So now it's no point in saying that how i was not able to get the bonus despite being active for so long. The newbie account also get randomly bonus as again this was some luck based distribution so whosoever was lucky got it.
3100  Economy / Economics / Re: Now UK is facing inflation so choose the best for you.. on: September 17, 2021, 02:39:36 PM
What is clear is that in a hyperinflation scenario, and in life in general, those who have financial assets will always be better off economically than those who do not, even if in a crisis those assets lose value and their income is reduced.
Owning a boat without hole is surely better than sinking one in the ocean but that doesn't imply you can sail through your journey easily and same is the case with middle class and working class that with rising prices they both will have to suffer a lot but Middle class can survive upto some more time with all their savings and financial assets but if you notice the hyperinflation situation won't let them survival chance at high level. So bitcoin is surely a better option for them both. The rich and lower class won't have much impact because rich or elite class are already having and gaining more day by day so these inflation don't affect them at much and lower class already are not having privilege authority to have or maintain such living standards. But working and middle class have to live upto that mark but it's creating problem for them with these high prices of necessary food item.

And that's the kicker--in addition to higher prices, taxes are going up and governments are looking high and low for ways to cut funding to various programs, and it's not just happening in the UK.  It's happening in the US and who knows how many other countries.
These kind of things are happening around the globe and what government is doing to counter such things is printing more money or ramping up the taxes and revising tax slabs and still these inflation charts are not relaxing and when next votes will come they will blame previous party for the same and this continues.

I hate to be pessimistic and I'm not a person wearing a "doomsday is coming" sandwich board, but Jesus....it's going to suck to be poor for a very long time, and even if you're in the middle class it's going to be bad.
If there was not an option like bitcoin to us then definitely we would be living in delusional world where fiat is everything and inflation is just because the supply is limited or due to another factors but with bitcoin we see a firm future ahead which is away from any political hindrance and you can have your funds safe. The dollar and other currencies have gone 60-70% downward of the prices and purchasing power is reducing so it's better not to be poor at that time.If not bitcoin then backup your options but don't blame at that time because the time is not too faw away even if we are not pessimistic about it.
