3081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: time to add your bag on: September 21, 2021, 06:08:21 AM
today the price of cryptocurrency (including Bitcoin) is correcting again and I suggest you don't panic sell, but now is an opportunity for us to buy cryptocurrency that we want at a low price, so don't miss this opportunity or you will regret it when the market starts to recover and increasing again, because I believe the correction that happened this year will not be as severe as in previous years, so market conditions will definitely recover quickly and will make you get profit in the near future.
When the price is rising the time is to sell. I would consider it safe for anyone who bought below 40k USD to sell at this price and not panic selling. Of course the range of profit that they can get is lower but it is good for the traders to cycle this money.

Buying should be done when the prices go down again and I dont think that will happen anytime soon.

Every dip is an opportunity to get big gains but have to have cautious at the same time so don't put all the money at 1 dip try make part and do dca that's the way we can have more gains rather then losing money.
Not every dip is going to be worth buying. Suppose you already bought at prices lower than the lowest point of a certain dip - would you buy it again, at that relative higher price? You would not.

Cycling the money is important here. But that does not mean buying at every dip not evaluating the value of the dip.
3082  Economy / Economics / Re: DO I NEED TO LOOSE THE ONE I HAVE GOTTEN OR LOOK TO GAIN MORE? on: September 20, 2021, 07:03:33 AM
-snip-
What is meant is that one should take care for the things they already own and learn how to use them to make more.
Quote
1.Winning and gaining is what am in this life for
No, a common mistake by the current generation. Your aim in life is to be a good human being.

Quote
2.  Gaining will make me more relevant in all endeavors than to loose
Losing is a part of gaining. If you never lose then you are not taking a risk. Failures are a part of life. Start looking at them as life lessons/turning points.

Quote
3.  For me to get engaged in many things, then my mindset is determined already on gains
If you remain infatuated about gains, you will likely lose your sanity over those things. The world is much more than just your gains. Being able to use your money to get more money is a good thing an that is what everyone is doing but that should not make for forget the little things in life that make it all the more beautiful.

Quote
4.  I say yes to the pains because no pain then no gain, therefore I should have more.
In the context of life, pain is important because it teaches you a lot.
3083  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make $5,000 a month day trading? on: September 20, 2021, 06:56:32 AM
it is very difficult to determine what is the right amount so that you can make $5000/month from trading...
Theoretically it is possible. Practically it is difficult but not impossible..

Quote
in theory, you can make $ 5000/month even with a capital of $ 100 if you are very precise in selling/buying. trading does not give a definite income so but if you set a target at $ 5000 then your chances of getting it will be great as long as you are always right.
I believe the OP has got their answer. With any capital one can start trading, the only thing is that a bigger starting capital means a bigger proportional return. That should not dissuade small-cap investors to move away though.

But a fixed amount might not be logically correct to declare from the start. One can make a lot or none depending on what coin they buy and at time or price they buy at. Here the important keys words should be kept in mind for the OP. Joining at the wrong price or time is devastating.

You can  but sometimes it will be difficult in this volatile market that when it goes down then it will definitely be a problem for the day traders, because day traders didn't have that much time to stable again and wait for the coins too much. And i want to say one thing that it will be easy for you if you going with some strategic best rules for yourself.
For starters, day trading is a wrong step. Without prior day trading experience in the stock market or so, they will likely get washed out.
3084  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best free trading Signals telegram channels on: September 20, 2021, 06:46:01 AM
OP you are having an account that was made back in 2016, in the last 5years whatever you have read from your follow members, are you still in doubt about the legitimacy (or rather illegitimacy) of signals groups? Huh

Signal groups and so called pump and dump groups exist to scam newbies who want to make easy money by trading and hope to get rich in seconds. Every learned person will tell you that good things take time.

If the thing is paid then the scam is the membership fee.
If the thing is free then the scam is the signal which forces you to go opposite the way the owners of that group are going.
3085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: telegram channels of bounty managers ?? on: September 20, 2021, 06:37:59 AM
There are several bounty managers and each of them have their own telegram channels to update new bounty campaigns. I am not sure if there is one single place for all but you have to search and join one every day. Roll Eyes

My honest advice is to not do this "bounty hunting" - I have at one time been tempted to go for bounties at a time when ICOs were booming and market was being "taken over" by altcoins but it soon turned out to be the opposite.

Still if you are willing to keep tabs on reputed managers you should join their respective channels only. Dont clog your telegram with hundreds of channels. It adds to the stress levels and frustration when a campaign fails to pay.
3086  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hubble Token -Absolutely plagiarism and Fake team on: September 19, 2021, 07:41:10 AM
The accused comes here and posts a two word swear and hopes to get redeemed in the face of all the evidence stacked against them. Brilliant indeed.

I saw this thread right now although it was made some time back.

Few things to note:
1. Website and ANN have been taken down.
2. The "Why-paper" is a common error that the OP does and it is also visible on this thread made back in 2019:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5142601
Archived - https://archive.fo/H0jOT#selection-537.2-541.2

So they basically run their same template without even checking once? Bad scammer indeed. Roll Eyes
3087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is Best Alts or Defi Coin? on: September 19, 2021, 07:30:31 AM
I think defi is more interesting because many venture capitalists and even wall street have also been playing defi for the past few months. And when there are many institutions or large investment injections into a token, fundamentally it becomes a positive sentiment for future prospects.
Wow mate, slow down there.

Wall street is way more interested in running their penny stocks and bonds, while at the same time taking risky bets on investment banks who are again happily fulfilling them.

The VCs who are putting money into DeFi are not that saintlike as you might think. All these "Deals" are done with money and they are in it for the money too. Once they get their profit back, they will exit and like that have always done with the ICO markets, they will do the same here. Once the advisors leave, the devs will start leaving too and the investors will be left hanging high and dry while the project gets abandoned.
3088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any trading chat rooms? on: September 18, 2021, 06:16:52 AM
When I was new to crypto trading, I used to chat on the exchange chat itself. I remember Poloniex had such an option or maybe it was some other exchange but I did use to chat with guys and that time, there were legit traders who used to share good information and even made friends chatting on these exchanges.
It is called "TrollBox" for a reason that most people who join the site understand pretty late. Grin

Quote
Now though, most of the users are either begging or shilling for some random coins and it's nearly impossible to maintain a proper conversation. Also, I am not sure if any changes allow chat either. Haven't used polo for a while.
Of course that is what it ends up being. You cant hope to expect nice conversations happening between anxious traders ready to pounce on every money making opportunity. It ends up being a place for venting for most traders. I am more of the opinion that, those who tend to use the TrollBox too much, need to stop trading - because it is getting bad for them.

Quote
As far as telegram channels are concerned, they are just divided into two categories: scams and spams (shilling).
More like every social media related to crypto since its start. We rarely see any informative talk happening in any social media. Compared to fiat markets in our country, there are some sites which give a proper feedback on IPOs and all, this is lacking in crypto.
3089  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: September 18, 2021, 06:06:28 AM
It depends on people's goals about how they want to use Bitcoin actually.
It is a choice depending on how many way you have at your disposal to spend those coins. In most countries till date, bitcoin is not yet something that is legally tradeable without problems. If you live in a country like that where bitcoin is a grey area, you are more likely to spend it on gambling and trading.

With the increase in countries becoming more lenient towards spending crypto to merchants, there will be an increase in market volatility. These questions currently come up because we are still in baby phases of crypto adoption and it really is starting off now.

Without methods to spend your coins, you are more likely to save them. Simple logic here.
3090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ways to trade? on: September 18, 2021, 06:02:29 AM
I often use Coinmarketcap to monitor coin price movements. The advantage of Coinmarketcap is that we can check stories along the coin's journey. So that changes in the price of each bull run can be used as a guide for further investment.
If you would use another site then you would likely see the pros and cons of using another site. Not that there are many. I use both CMC and Coingecko, and I find differences too little between them. It becomes a personal preference. Although I would say the CMC site is more designed in terms of appearance and more ads embedded in links for third part services.

Talking about indicators, you would need tradingview for that. You cant find them directly on CMC. But keep in mind that indicators are only a 50-50 guess as to what the market may move towards. It does not guarantee movement and neither are they confirmatory.
3091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does the scammer companies earn through bitcoin ? on: September 17, 2021, 06:32:07 AM
I am new to bitcoin and come from a third world country.
As a word of advice, people from the third world are a big target for scams luring them with greed. So these "friends" you talk about, be careful of what you deal with them.

Quote
One of my friend told me a company came telling all to invest 150 USD in an scheme and then they can earn daily about 6-7 USD regularly by watching ads for the rest of their life. My friend earned 6-7 USD everyday by watching an ad of 8 minutes. He got paid instantly and also told me about the Binance mobile app. This worked for almost 1.5 months. Then the company disappeared. Those who invested lately couldnt get their money.
So the site was a GPTC site, a get-paid-to-click site. They pay you for clicking on their ads and such micro-transactions are very commonly integrated nowawdays in mobile games - for example, a certain game might give your extra "gems" for watching a short video. Or like Spotify shows you ads before running the next track.

Point is that these sites earn a lot of the commission and the fact that they took a deposit to get started should be the red flag.

Quote
I want to know how this process works. How is this related to bitcoin and how can one earn just by watching ads ?
Suppose the deposit was x amount and the daily earning for any user on the site is y.

Now running the site for n number of days means that the profit incurred would be (x-ny) per user. Usually the x value is fixed while the y value usually remains an average.

Therefore the ones who join late would have an n value of lower than those who joined early. Hence the site will actually be profiting off the late joiners once the site decides to do scam.
3092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand the market in advance on: September 17, 2021, 06:23:36 AM
to be honest, there is no specific methodology, perhaps news can affect the market, for example, a project partnership or new huge venture investments, this is an impetus for growth dynamics, you can also play on negative news, this is my personal observation. It will be best if you figure everything out yourself and try and win by trial and error.
This is why technical analysis is called a pseudo-science by Wikipedia. It can only tell you about possible trends and how the market might react but it can never predict the future. For that you actually need a time machine. Cheesy

Things dont always end up similar to past outcomes, so every chance of varying is there. News affects the market strongly and they can never be brought out mathematically on TA.

The importance of FA + TA is that gives you more insight on how to place your orders and how to possibly get a grip over yourself when trading.

What the OP asks, if was possible then the person doing so would have become a millionaire already and would be ruling the world. Which means that such things cannot be done, again unless you have a time machine. Cool
3093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulatory clarity will slow down Bitcoin's volatility on: September 17, 2021, 06:18:49 AM
The regulation of cryptocurrency in various countries is becoming more and more stringent.
In the good way only.

People think that regulation happening will shut down crypto and that everything is a government conspiracy. Point is that human mind works like that and always thinks of worse possible outcomes. Regulation is for our own good, but nobody understands this. With a regulation on the number of altcoin projects coming up there will be pressure to actually develop the project and not just steal the investors money and run away - what happens with 99% of altcoins in the last four years.

Quote
Regulatory clarity will slow down Bitcoin's volatility。 How do you think of it?
The stock market is regulated and runs for fixed hours. Is it volatile? Of course it is.

Then how can the bitcoin market not be volatile if that was regulated when it runs 24x7?

Use your common sense, the market lives on volatility, because without it there is no market to trade on.
3094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is my 20,000 DPR token in Metamask wallet? on: September 17, 2021, 06:14:37 AM
Well firstly check your ethereum wallet address on an explorer site like etherscan to see that the transaction you posted about really happened and that you did not end up sending your coins to the wrong person.

Once you have confirmed that, you may need to manually add the token monikor to the wallet. Used to happen a lot in MEW wallet at one time for custom tokens, in either case try this:

3095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most of trc20 tokens got flop or can't do well?? on: September 16, 2021, 06:30:39 AM
The OP has gone offline after last posting a bump on this thread on Sept 3rd. I hope they got their answer, which they are obviously not looking for.

Sadly, the "token" economics is a fraud game and the older users have understood this a long time ago when ethereum tokens were being distributed to every investor in exchange of their precious bitcoin. None of them have any use to the holders other than dreaming about 100x gains while the price tanks to -100%.

No project can solve a problem that is prominent in the altcoin sector - lack of inherent market making capability. Do that and your project will likely be successful and recognized mainstream too. Otherwise it will be an endless cycle of new project>Bankrupt>Takeover>new project.
3096  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How a derivative instrument works on: September 16, 2021, 06:20:45 AM
A derivative "derives" its price from the underlying asset. If the underlying asset moves, the derivative moves as well. It goes without saying that when the price of the asset rises due to reasons whatsoever, the derivative will also rise.

Hence your point, that is the price of the asset is being manipulated, the derivative will also get manipulated.

However I am not an expert on these instruments in the context of cryptocurrency, I am more of a spot trader so I cant go in depth on this. What I said is from my past experience on stocks and fiat markets. I assume the same applies to crypto markets too.
3097  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin trading? can Bitcoin trading profitable without having lost? on: September 16, 2021, 06:16:57 AM
I have spent time to read about Bitcoin trading, hence want to comprehend how it influence and overwhelm
That means you did not read the necessary writing. Because if you did you would not be asking this question.

If you having zero prior experience in stock markets and other speculative asset trading, you should refrain from bitcoin trading at the start. Learn how the blockchain works and how to secure your wallets before starting trading.

The market in this forum.
The "Marketplace" in this forum is usually for goods and services. Currency exchanging also happens but not trading per se.

Quote
as a newbie who's interested and curious about Bitcoin trading, eager to be impacted with knowledge from my superiors (legendary and hero members etc)
What I said above, dont jump into trading because there will be losses and profits. In the starting usually losses are more than profits. Try dummy trading on paper first for at least six months before putting in real capital.
3098  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: yesterday's drop in prices, was it natural or man made? on: September 15, 2021, 05:52:07 AM
As many of you know, yesterday BTC dropped to ~42,000 USD. And of course many other coins follow BTC.
Now the question is, is it a natural process or there are some people behind this drop?
When you are trading you will face questions like this, but there are no correct answers to these questions, only assumptions. It is better to keep your mind sane by ignoring such questions.

Maybe some big investor or insitution dumped their coins, or maybe a smaller dump happened and some weak hands crashed or some negative news was published. Either way, does it really matter?  Answer is No.

Quote
Can we assume that there are forces who can 'manage' the market like yesterday?
Another typical delusion that traders often have in their starting days.

Instead of thinking about such topics, why not keep money at hand and buy the dip - because if you had done that, today you would be at profit because bitcoin is at 46.9k USD.

Trading is a mind game, if you cannot keep your head in the game, you need to stop trading for a while. Dont sacrifice your sanity while trying to make money. You have to learn how to deal with this, not everyone can have nerves of steel.
3099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The path to mass adoption of crypto on: September 15, 2021, 05:42:53 AM
I have met many projects that state that they have an ambition to spread all over the world. Talking about ways how projects can make many people aware of their work is to run a big marketing campaign.
Marketing one project is not mass adoption of cryptocurrency but a specific currency only. I have not seen bitcoin-based awareness programs but altcoin specific events. It shows that developers only care for their own project but dont spread bitcoin's name while they take investments in bitcoin. Roll Eyes

Quote
They should attract celebrities and big partners.
Having a celeb is both good and bad. Firstly we have seen many celebs come in this sector and get ripped off their reputation because the project went bankrupt. We dont want more Floyd backed Centra scams my friend. In most cases these celebs dont even have the brains to understand what crypto is and how it works. They are only paid promoters, which is not a good thing IMO.

Because when the project tanks the real owners will go missing while the celeb will be attacked everywhere on social media.
3100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microsteel keeps buying into BTC on: September 15, 2021, 05:34:22 AM
Apparently the current daily bitcoin trading volume is about 800k btc so theoretically if they sell their 100k btc within a couple of weeks for example, it shouldn't be noticeable.
I am more of the opinion that big institutions only give out news of when they are buying but only after that and they do not give out the news of when they are selling unless they have a reason to. They are more likely to sell of in portions slowly as the market rises after the news hits. They are in it for the profit and they know how to make it. Older bitcoin traders who have been watching the market have already figured this out.

Of course as long as the desired profit is crossed they will continue to FOMO the newbies into buying more and then wait for the crash to happen once again.

Celebs do the same thing too, just that some celebs have a big mouth. I am sure you have understood the pattern by now.
