Well for the majority of the fans is only moving the qualify from Saturday to earlier and having a 40-minute mini GP on Saturday and a full GP on Sunday.
The rules about tires are only for the "nerds" of the sports for the majority of people it will not make an appearance in their head.
The thing is though, the cap on expenditure this season could have big repercussions for the sprint race. Teams only have a small amount of money to spend. We saw Toto talking about it after the Bottas crash last race... how Russell as a Mercedes driver was irresponsible, given that the money it takes to repair a car is money that is taken out of the development budget. I can't see drivers going all out in the sprint races. Yes they'll want to get a good position, but equally they will try hard not to trash the car. @Cnut237 if this is the case then I feel the teams who take a risk and not care if they wreck the car in process can finish at a better spot, and if that happens than maybe we can see some other drivers win the races. To some extent, I believe Neymar leaving PSG might be good for the club because this would free them up to spend more in the transfer market. Well that would obviously free them from spending too much but their owner and management is very happy with the player. They were asked lot of questions about Neymar and his future earlier but they never once said about Neymar leaving or Neymar's contract taking a toll on them financially. As for the player, he seems to be happy as well so seems like he is gonna extend his contract. Monaco are going to host Lyon this weekend and it's definitely one of the crucial games for both teams. Monaco are on a 5-win streak and they need to win not to stay behind Lille and PSG more in the race for the championship. If Lyon win this, they may join the race again. Considering Lyon destroyed Monaco before, I guess Monaco's job won't be easy. But they are the in-form side so I wouldn't be surprised if they win a victory.

It was raining heavily in Madrid, both teams had a difficult pitch to contend with because of the rain therefore it was not a classic or one to remember. It ended it with a draw but Chelsea have the away goal advantage.
Chelsea had a good game in the first half but not taking their chances. Madrid can fire all cylinders in the second half and the blues may rue the chances they have had. I have checked the statistics of these two teams' head-to-head matches. Brentford has won four of the last five matches between the two teams, Rotherham last winning against Brentford in 2016. Considering all the statistics, I decided to bet on Brentford. Even if Brentford beat Rotherham tonight, Watford guaranteed promoting to the Premier League. The big surprise was that Chadwick Boseman couldn't win the award for the best actor, for his performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. He had odds of 1.06-1.08. Looking at the odds, I was all but certain that the prize would go to him. Anthony Hopkins had odds of 8.00, but he managed to win the award for his performance in The Father. Closed enough the game ended in favour of Everton but with a different scoreline from the one you predicted, a massive win for Ancelloti side who are still pushing up for the European competition next year, hopefully, they can get the Europa League spot for their tremendous performance this season at least. I still don't know why Arteta is still doing trial and error at Arsenal, they are not an ambitious club after all they need to bring in an experienced coach like Mourinho. Lol, I doubt he would make such a move.
Everton are still pushing for a top 4 finish, they believe they might be able to get it. If you never experienced a car crash , never cheer for one. It's true that a crash can spark up the race but in the same time never cheer for the crash because the impact with this cars at 300k/h it's massive and it could be fatal anytime. I even heard people saying that they don't watch F1 because there are not fatal crashes anymore like it's used to have back in the '90 which is crazy ...how could you want to watch a race where someone fatally crashes ?
F1 is still a sport where every pilot still puts his life on the line with every race he makes.
This is exactly what I am saying. There are people who defend crashes as "I do not want to see a death, I just want crash where everyone is okay" but you do not know that, you do not know if that person is okay or not until it is clear that they are okay. Things are much safer these days, last year Romain Grosjean walked out of something unbelievable without any major issue, his hands were burned I think as far as I can remember and he is getting better every day, last I heard he was doing practice races in some other race, in any other era that guy would have been dead, in 90's he would have been dead. However did anyone really knew he would be totally fine even before they saw him? There was a huge bulb of fire exploded everything was burning like crazy, dudes car was cut in half and he was on the other side of the barrier, can you tell me that you knew he would be fine? Nobody knew it until they saw him. This is why I hate crashes, I wish no crash would ever happen and I would just watch good driving skills alone. @dezoel I’ll second that as it was a nasty incident, and people who like to see crashes need a reality check done because it can leave the driver his family never ending trauma if something goes wrong. Also I yet feel that F1 needs to handle safety car in a better way, because last year Hamilton felt that it was a huge risk with the way those safety car restarts took place. Yep, inter is leading with a big gap, 10 points already. It will be difficult for other teams to overtake it. While the teams in position 2-5, looks interesting to see. The gap is only 1 or 2 points, even for the positions of 3&4 have the same points. This will be a tight competition for them till the end of the season. However, I bet Juventus will be in second place at the end.  If Juventus taking over AC Milan position, so I thinking very bad for AC Milan. When Milan losing 2nd position, players maybe frustrated and fail in several matches after. This condition will bring AC Milan to 4 or 5 in the end of season. Was expecting lots of goals in this match and instead only 1
Everton won 1-0 against arsenal today and is now closer to the top 6 positions and close to the champions league
Will be hard for Everton to reach it.They threw away lots of points in the previous rounds
I also really hoped that there were a lot of goals in the Arsenal vs Everton match, but it turned out that only one goal was created, even that was just an own goal. Arsenal returned to play very inconsistently, and it was very visible Arsenal's game was not effective. Hugely important games coming up during this weekend. First we have Wolfsburg - Borussia, followed by Bayer - Eintracht. Wolfsburg would all but confirm their CL qualification with a win, leaving Borussia with minimum chances in the process. Both teams are highly offensive and it should be a great game, especially with such high stakes.
Bayer is catching the last train as well, even with a win they would be still far away from qualification. Eintracht is still ok even if they lose, but with a good result they can potentially get away more from Borussia.
Really a crucial weekend, can't wait for the Wolfsburg-Dortmund game.
Those are really exciting games coming up this weekend with 4 of the competitors for the Championas league positions playing against each other. Wolfsburg has the best positions of those 4 but also the hardest opponent this matchday with dortmund. Eintracht frankfurt is still 4 points ahead of Dortmund but now they have something to lose and the pressure rises from matchday to matchday. They face bayer leverkusen which are 9 Points behind a champions league position so they don't have much to lose anymore and can therefore play without much pressure. So 3 out of those 4 team have to win basically  that will be interesting. Borussia Dortmund really needs to win this fixture if they wish to stay in the hunt for a champions league spot, and I can’t understand how a team having the likes Sancho and Halland suffer such fate. Just look at the temporary poll result at the top of this thread, there are only 11 users who contributed to the thread wanting to see Atletico Madrid win the Laliga this season and most of them chose Real Madrid and Barcelona. I think the dominance of Real Madrid and Barcelona in Laliga is natural because they have a better quality of play than any team in Laliga. This season, Atletico Madrid are still on the right track and they have to win all the remaining match including against Barcelona if they want to win the title. After they won today, there were 6 more match waiting for them and the toughest one was against Barcelona.
I think Barcelona can beat Atletico Madrid. Barcelona are playing very well now and I think they are stronger on almost all lanes. Korome of this, Athletic needs to win all the remaining matches, but for Atletico it is not so easy, he has few such winning streaks, the Spanish championship is difficult for such a series. @Cryptmuster as a Real Madrid fan yes I don’t want Atletico to win the league title, but as a football lover I can’t help but admit that they do deserve to win it as they have played some amazing football this season.
