Unless a contender like BCH decidedly overtakes it, it's difficult for BTC to drop below 6k USD from now on.

And it's likely to go parabolic after a close above 10k, which would be a clear break of the 200 line which has been rejected twice already.

So watch out for the next surge up. These levels are pretty good to accumulate, but also hedge against the likes of BCH.

Diversify into 5 altcoins which offer a use case that is decidedly different from Bitcoin, and then divide your BTC holding between BCH and maybe even one or two contenders that might threaten BTC throne (you can throw in some high tech projects like DGB and VTC in this basket too).

BCH it must be said as a medium of exchange functions a lot better than BTC core currently...

Bear in mind that when BTC is rallying or stable, powerful Altcoin projects make exponential gains, ie they gain in BTC terms when BTC is gaining on the USD, so Altcoin to USD increase can be geometric during a stable bull run.

The downside risk is that all altcoins are still heavily tied to BTC price fluctuations, so the reverse can also happen during a bear run. Make your own judgement.

Not in 2 weeks, but likely within 2018 yes it can cross 2000 USD.

Currently there are some management debates going on within Ethereum top developers, they still need a structure that is truly decentralized and to vest power away from negative influencers like Buterin, whose "politically correct" ideas are hurting the spirit of cryptocurrencies and the professional credibility of ETH. The naive unicorn boy needs to be educated a lot.
