3101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No Alternatives to Directbet? on: May 22, 2017, 06:20:09 AM
That really shocked me to be honest.

I believed that they were the best bitcoin sportsbook and they rightfully claimed to be. I mean betting with no accounts and completely anonymous bets, that was just plain awesomeness. I did lose a lot using directbet because their betting service was instantaneous but I can't blame them for my stupid actions in the past - it's just illogical. They have paid every time I won something from them with no issues.

Hopefully they can reopen in the future, right now I'd say that the most trustworthy one in the community is nitrogensports, others all have some sort of problem with KYC, one way or another. Hopefully they can reopen.

@Coin.trader Mate at least exclude the people who have negative trust. They don't deserve to receive any coin... If you let them enter that means you're condoning scammers... Bascially.
3103  Economy / Speculation / Re: To the moon! on: May 17, 2017, 02:41:16 PM
I think the hike should stop first  Grin
Well, the current bitcoin price is high enough, and I just hope it does not happen dump. I also believe that this is only to the stability, before the bitcoin price rises again. keep believe, bitcoin to the moon  Cheesy
Well, I think you need to remember that bitcoin is price is extremely high already, if we compare it to the yearly chart. We are very close to the all-time high once again, and
it will be not so strange if bitcoin will cross the 2000$ level.
Currently, for 1BTC you can get 1830$ according to bitstamp, so we are only 170$ far away from that interesting level.

However im still afraid that now, bitcoin is going to fall because the price increased so quickly, that it can cause a big dump of coins right now: unless there will be many more new people interested about obtaining some BTC.
3104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Returning to bitcoin after 2 years! shocked at confirmation time! on: May 15, 2017, 05:40:49 PM
This was not the bitcoin i had seen!

What in the world has happened to bitcoin

It is almost one day and the transaction has not been confirmed and as a result i am not able to trade in any exchange..

i have heard that the transaction confirmation time has increased but never expected this worst case.. at this rate everyone will soon abandon bitcoin and this is the reason perhaps bitcoin dominance has come down significantly in the crypto space
I wonder why you think it is such a big increase?
It is a fact that currently, we have to wait longer for our transactions being confirmed in a block, but the difference is not so big in my opinion.
I have to say that the fee is more harmful for every bitcoin user, especially for those who are doing many transactions.
I really miss the times where we could just pay 0.0002BTC for doing one transaction: but they have passed and we have to accept that fact.
After all, it makes bitcoin a little bit useless for doing micropayments, but it is still a great way to make some profits or just pay for digital goods/wares for shipping.
3105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this realistically or just a dream ? on: May 11, 2017, 04:38:09 PM
I dont really think that someone can seriously spread such an opinion, because doing such a thing is probably the best way to make people laugh off from you. You cannot really make people interested about bitcoin just by saying that some guy has predicted it will rise to 500,000 EUR in less than 13 years right?

I think that you should take a look what was happening last 3 days.
The current bitcoin price is about 1800 USD, which means that we had extremely big move upwards in a very short time, and the cryptocurrency exchange that holds the biggest part of trading volume, couldnt even maintain under such a massive traffic.
It means that bitcoin infrastructure is still not ready to hande such a big price, we need to improve it before doing the next step, which is breaking the 2000$ level.
3106  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: May 11, 2017, 04:16:01 PM
There are pretty much plenty of things that you may buy with bitcoins, In my opinion you can buy basically anything you want, plane car or property it doesnt matter. Im obviously talking about legal things, because this cryptocurrency allows you to buy anything you wish pretty much: you can obtain illegal goods with it too, but I can just advise to stay away from that world, you dont really want to mess with all this, it can be dangerous for you because if the law enforcement will find out, they can punish you very badly.

To be honest, I really like buying anything digital with cryptocurrencies because it is very easy and fast but I hate to use it for buying something I have to ship. I lose my anonymousness in such a way, and also it does not meets the most important function for me: it is not web related.
3107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australia moving forward on: May 11, 2017, 03:55:24 PM
The best thing I can see about that also Australia has plans to adopt bitcoin is that we will have already two countries that are accepting BTC as a legal payment method.
It will make the trading volume go even higher, because the people living in Japan (or later also, in Australia) are willing to use bitcoin, because it is an asset that is easy, fast and pretty comfortable in use, so why won't you pay with it?
Bitcoin is more than just a currency or a payment solution, you can simply hold it for profits or just invest it in any BTC/crypto related company, that is operating mostly through the internet.

More countries accepting bitcoin = higher price plus bigger market capitalization!
3108  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is that possible to earn bitcoin with Youtube Channel? on: May 11, 2017, 03:33:08 PM
is very posible many campaign use video campaign
example crypto-game.net, sporstbet.io. rollin.io
and ussualy all new altcoin in open ico selling, open bounty video campaign too
That is true, all of this website can provide you some income if you are willing to advertise on your own website about gambling somewhere.
Also, you need to remember that many casinos ( not necessarily the biggest ones, but also those from the smaller type ) are happy to make a cooperation with some youtuber that owns channel about gambling.
I have some friends who get better referral rates or even payouts/free tokens to play on the website: for the advertisments purposes.
In such a case , both youtuber and the website gets the income so it is one of the ways to monetize your income on YouTube ( if it channel about online/crypto gambling).
3109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 11, 2017, 12:34:25 PM
As we can see, the value of bitcoin is rapidly changing in a manner where only experts can understand. We can use this as a manner of earning money, but like the change of the value of bitcoin, it is unknown if one can have this as theur full time job. As a part time job in my opinion it is better.
It is hard for me to not agree with your opinion, I also think that it is a better idea to just stand on bitcoin as a second source on income.
I would not make my future financial plans about some cryptocurrency, because you cannot really tell how much it is going to be worth in next year.
Obviously, we expect rather rises than falls on bitcoin, but still I think that switching only on bitcoin/cryptocurrency related activities is not such a good idea, after all you risk a lot because the price is volatile, and you cannot really expect anything from market.

If you just simply earn fiat currency from a regular job, you dont have to be worried about exchanging, transfering etc. Also, getting decent payouts every week/month from BTC may become a little bit suspicious for law enforcement authorities, dont forget that!
3110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's elite behaves just like the old banking elite on: May 11, 2017, 11:31:44 AM
I think that something like that should not be considered as something strange, after all people are really happy: BTC price has made another all-time high just after breaking the previous one few days ago, so the BTC holders are making money, same with people that got bitcoins for investment purposes: they make profit too, just from having this cryptocurrency on their wallet.
Such a thing is encouraging them in such a belief even stronger: after all, they knew about cryptocurrencies before all that "stupid" crowd: they have made money before them, so they consider themselves as some kind of an elite, but this is not true. You can say that you are in the group of "bitcoin elite" if you are one of the early adopters, you cannot in other scenario  at least that is my opinion.
3111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How are purchases done so fast? on: May 11, 2017, 11:13:32 AM
It has been my experience that bitcoin transactions take anywhere from ten minutes to a few hours to confirm. How is it that when I buy something using bitcoin the system seems to accept my payment immediately?  Is the system just seeing the unconfirmed transaction and calling it good or do these payment systems have some way of instantly confirming the transactions?
Well, basically there are some services that allow something like instant confirmation. It is in such a situation, when you pay them for some special good, that gives them an ability to retrieve their money in case of double-spend: that is why there are 0 confirmations needed in some cases.
But usually, you need at least one confirmation to go through the blockchain, before you will get the thing you have payed for. It is because that in many scenarios everything is fine after one confirmation, but still the companies have some solutions for "emergency" where something will go wrong.

But dont expect instant confirmations when you pay for something you want to ship, because the seller needs to be sure that he has got payed.
3112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is all this new trading volume coming from? on: May 10, 2017, 05:31:38 PM
Well, we have heard some time ago that bitcoin is now accepted in Japan as a legal payment option.
Japanese authorities have decided to adopt it in their country, so currently if you go to japan just with access to your BTC wallet, you will be probably able to just spend this currency through the all time you are there: but I think that will happen not faster than in 3-4 years.

You need to spot a very important thing about that this goverment decided to make such a thing: the demand is now increased in there, because people will use it as a another way to pay in store or shop. So the Japan has made a very significant difference in bitcoin market capitalization, and same with the volume: the big part of it belongs currently to the citizens of this place.
3113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you sell your BTC, and what will you buy? on: May 10, 2017, 05:23:15 PM
To be honest, I have already sold a big part of my bitcoins.
It is because that bitcoin price has reached a very high level, currently it is somewhere between 1750-1780 USD according to Bitstamp.
I have decided to liquidate this cryptocurrency at 1650 level, which has made me really satisfied, I still have enough bitcoins to be happy out of further price rise.
I advice the same strategy for everyone who is currently having some bitcoins, just sell some part of them on this price to invest the returns into some different things, or even to make your life more successful: spend it for yourself because why not?

That is only my opinion, but I expect BTC to rise further: thats why Im still secure with a decent amount of BTC for holding purposes.
3114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: May 09, 2017, 12:46:41 PM
I think the great way to make bitcoin is to just do trading because a lot of people are talking about trading and i think it is a good idea to start making bitcoin there because the market is very fast moving and the price is not stable so that is how we are going to make bitcoin in trading.
I dont really get this point about that the trading is the best, just because people are saying so.
You need to have your own opinion, and be sure that it is the best option possible by yourself, not just repeating someones insights.

There are many different sources of BTC income and trading does not have to be necessarily the best: im sure that in most cases the owners of well known and trusted cryptocurrency casinos are earning way more than even a really successful trader

The amounts of funds needed for both things obviously are different, but you may diversify your investments in many way to just be safe for a rainy day. Why not investing some different cryptocurrencies in bankroll of gambling websites,  start trading and also be in sig campaining?
3115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: May 05, 2017, 06:27:46 PM
I think that that currently, we are having the best moment to sell our bitcoins.
Obviously, the price was slighlty higher than now, because in the moment of typing this one bitcoin is worth about 1530 $.
Many people could witness that bitcoin value was even higher than 1600$ for some time. That is a really big rise, and i think that the best option is to sell at least the part of bitcoins to stay safe with the fiat for the further investments.

I also expect some kind of correction, a downfall at pricechart until 1400 USD per bitcoin, or even 1300. With that moment, buying may still be a good opportunity.
3116  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: May 03, 2017, 12:34:12 PM
That is a really interesting thread, not only for experienced people but mostly for newbies in the bitcoin world!
We can see different stories, and thanks to it we may be aware of different dangers that comes up with using cryptocurrencies.

My biggest mistake about bitcoin was that I have bought about 700$ worth of bitcoin in 2013 but i have lost all due to the exit scam of the place where I have got the.
To be honest, currently those bitcoins would be worth really a big sum of money. It was around 6-7 bitcoins if im not wrong, so I would have more than 8000 USD.

I really regret that I have chosen that service Sad
3117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can reach 3000 USD in a year ? on: May 03, 2017, 12:23:43 PM
I think that potentially, there would be no problem for bitcoin to reach even more than 3000$ price level before the half of 2018.
But we would need to see some changes going on. The current fee size just cannot remain like that, so we need to fix it: same as the confirmations time.
Even with a proper fee, you need to wait an hour usually unless you want to spend even more money than usual for just transfering it to somewhere else at first block.

If those issues will be changed, im sure that bitcoin will reach 3000$. Japan is adopting it, and we are already seeing them buying a lot of bitcoins.
3118  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Online Shop that accepts BTC on: May 02, 2017, 08:07:06 PM
Openbazaar.org and amazon is best like for you..here you can find more item for buy with bitcoin
I understand that there are only international sites where you can buy goods for Bitcoin. But it is bad in all this business only that it delivers the goods from abroad.
That does not necessary has to look like that. For example, you may live in the country where they have some kind of storage with different types of goods so you may be lucky about that.
But in other case, this is pretty obvious thing. If it comes to ordering anything with bitcoin, you need always to expect that the mail is going to be sent from a place that is far away from your home.
That is because blockchain, and bitcoin overall are pretty much worldwide. Any person on the planet that is connected to the Internet may use it, so there are probably BTC users in every single country in the world.
3119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: May 02, 2017, 04:05:38 PM
In my opinion this is a very hard question, and also the answer is not the same in every case. It is dependant on the place where the person answering lives.
For example, in US we already see some kind of bitcoin regulations.
You need to pay a tax from BTC income, so you need to declare that. If you won't do this and the IRS will find out, the law enforcement will get you for abusing the tax law.
But in a different country where bitcoin is not so popular, there are no regulations so you can simply earn the money through cryptocurrencies, and withdraw it by your bank account without any issues.
3120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats causing the price to go high to ATH? on: May 01, 2017, 11:14:28 PM
Also when will it dip to stabilisation?

I think that actually it is not so rare to see some asset price is destabilizing when getting closer to the all-time high, because in such a scenario the uncertainty goes in, which causes people to be very careful while trading on such a levels.
I would like to spot that for now, bitcoin price does not show up such a behaviour luckily, but as we have seen, the price of BTC is pretty stable last times.
Im afraid anyway that this dip to the up side may be not a good sign for us, because it is leading the bitcoin price to being overvalued. With so many issues about confirmations time and fee size, we cannot have more than 1500$ per one bitcoin. It is simply not useful with such a problems that we encounter every day during usage of BTC.
