One word: Social ContractGeorge essentially is in a contract with society to help out. That he didn't have much choice in signing up or not, and that it is very difficult, if not impossible to cancel the contract by emigrating, are other questions. |

I experienced most folks know by now that today's money's doesn't have any inherent material value, and also that it isn't backed by and redeemable for any. For the aspect you mention I introduced "tangible".
