3101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin : A digital currency or a computer program? on: August 06, 2022, 08:25:47 PM
Does anyone think Bitcoin first as a digital currency or a computer program?

sometimes we just like complicating things for ourselves of which are obviously simple, from the definition when you google the word bitcoin, it said to be the first digital and decentralized currency, the definition simply gives an accurate answer to this.

First of all, Bitcoin is really a computer program. Yes, a computer program that allows machines all over the world to share a secure file.

here you already assume the answer for yourself, but i will advise or suggest you read about bitcoin mining and relate it to your answer provided here.

Then, how did Bitcoin come to be known as digital currency? You execute the program at that point. It will establish a connection with other computers that are using this program, and they will begin sharing a file with you. New bitcoins are created, or mined, when computers on the network process and verify transactions.

have you ever paid for a service that is of more technical IQ within a little time than manual or physical labor that consume energy and time, do you think you're been paid for the little time spent? but instead the value and efforts given, miners were not just rewarded with bitcoin, solving a complex mathematical equations couldn't have just been an easy task like eating rice and beans, and just as you can have your fiat with banks in digits and still have to withdraw thesame digits into fiat notes, apply same to bitcoin in this regard.
3102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi is not dead, what is he doing? on: August 06, 2022, 08:02:25 PM
After reading so many topics that discuss who satoshi could be and why he would leave bitcoin from one day to another

To paint it clear and neat Satoshi does not leave bitcoin neither does leave the forum but rather has been inactive for a while here on the forum.

What is he doing these days?

You should be less concerned about that since we are all seing the reflection of his past and present efforts, it will do more good if someone like you could also sit back in developing yourself and be be noised abroad.

It is really unlikely that he never ever came back to the forum again, just to read and look at the progress. Also it seems likely that he had at least one alt account that may even be sill active.

That couldld be his choice and I will always respect his ever decision made, because first impression last longer.
3103  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to be part of a solid and beneficial signature campaign on: August 04, 2022, 08:19:44 PM
What is up everyone!

Starting from your first words of pleasantries, this doesn't sound polite enough to be used in a forum like this and you expect back a credible regards

I am a knowledgeable person on bitcoin and its basic uses.

This should be more of your personal stuffs, i see no need broadcasting that here in telling, at keast your post and presence could go a kong way in telling

If you feel I would be a great forum poster for your campaign, please drop your link or contact me!

Should in casr iys a campaign you need to get enrolled, all you need is to read the rules and judge yourself if eligible, but if its other services related to campaign management is what you provide then i think this isn't professional enough.
3104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we at the bottom? no one knows, but market is doing fine. on: August 04, 2022, 03:31:16 PM
How much deeper market gonna dive? Many believe we are near bottom. And there is a big reason for it. Market acting surprisingly fine despite everything

what else fo you expect, panic ? or fear of uncertainties? i believe these are what comes out from investing on other cryptocurrencies than bitcoin but whenever there's high volatility in bitcoin price, it calls for readjustment away from other cryptos

First it was interest rates. We knew it will be around 75 and it was. And market rallied (relief rally?) And it did not stop when numbers came in and US GDP growth was negative for the second consecutive quarter (which is a big recession indicator).

I don't think these have anything to do with the bottomless or rise in bitcoin price, they are economy factors that bitcoin price doesn't consider to operate it price network

We might allrdy be in recession.

Inflation is still here.

we aren't in recession but inflation is already ongoing

Do you see any good signal that we might get out of this mess? Bottom or not until these fundamental problems are solved I just can't see a bull market coming.

do you want to run on a garbage in and garbage out system? if no then we need patience and time to allow this bear season to go in order to enjoy the bull one longer as well.
3105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: August 03, 2022, 09:19:33 PM

Source of screenshot: redit
I saw this picture of a mobile miner wearing this mini mining machine on his shoulder, I kind of thought where in the world this can be achieved without fear of being harassed by authorities, and the thought of El 🇸🇻 Salvador who happen to be the first country to make Bitcoin a legal tender. I guess El Salvadorans who can afford this mining equipment can wear it anywhere within the country this enhances productivity as there can easily move around with the device.
What do you guys think about this?

Well you might be right or wrong but either of the ways i think this looks more of a work settings, an environment that enables the free showcase of bitcoin technologies, fine and good El-Savador can have this done but it doesn't make much impressive thoughts if moving around the city everywhere is the intention its made for considering it's risk also, but since it's a mobile device then a think it's designed to cover a little distance or move within a particular work settings or environment.
3106  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xbit dispute on: August 03, 2022, 08:36:51 PM
Consider the numbers of threads on reputation that talks about the scam in the daid campaign and how there have been warning to stay off the campaign expect at wish and interest, f you apply to a campaign that has been raised on red flag like this before now then know that you're at your risk, that's why for the newbies that just come up onboard to the forum need time to read, study and know what's going on with the forum activities and get familiar before engaging on anything they might regret doing later.
3107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin Disappointed You ? on: August 03, 2022, 08:30:53 PM
1. You had been scammed
2. You do see your bitcoin investment had plummets
3. Your wallet get hacked
4. Irreversible transactions error or simply sent out funds in wrong wallet

This four points is what is common and attributed to the newbies as they majorly fall a victim of these dissapointment of a thing at their first approach, what tou don't know may cost you heavily because it has become an asset to someone to feast on, also this disappointment of a thing is common in bitcoin price since it's a digital currency that is volatile, we cannot accurately predict the next phase of what may turn the price of bitcoin and even some experience users fall into this same category in disappointment.
3108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to BTC if China attack on Taiwan? on: August 03, 2022, 08:21:20 PM
As Taiwan is a China Territory. As Russia attack on Ukraine it effects the BTC mostly. My question is that how many others coin will affected if above said thing goes straight.

With what i know and how i got to understand the scenario of the ongoing war in Russia and Ukraine with its consequences i think it has much effect on the Fiat economy causing inflation but i don't think it has anything to do with bitcoin price determination, bitcoin works in volatility with demand and supply while the ongoing war with respect to btc should only reflect on the affected countries which is Russia and Ukraine.
3109  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 02, 2022, 08:23:36 PM
I have an email under this nickname, which means that anything I do in crypto, including casinos goes under this email. And I have another one with my real name, and I use that for my life related stuff, like vacations or newspaper stuff or even like social media stuff because they are mainly under my own name as well. This doesn't mean that I seperate just to two though, I do like 4 emails (have a fifth that I do not use too much) related to all weird stuff, have one for my gaming which is another nickname, have one for my "business" stuff which is basically a fake to register to business stuff but that gets the most spam. Long story short, never bad idea to have a few emails instead of one.

It's jot a bad thing having more than one email serving different purpose but when its too much then things betin to get complicated whereby you make mistakes of one email for another, anither thing I see here is that having upto 3 emails isn't bad, one can be for gambling, another for personal while the last could be for office mails, but wjen things begin to get out of hands when getting above th5 mails then such could be suspected for scam or related abuse of use by the user.
3110  Other / Archival / Re: Most crypto-friendly economies in the world on: August 02, 2022, 08:01:54 PM
the top 10 most crypto-friendly countries:

  • Germany
  • USA
  • Singapore
  • Australia
  • Switzerland
  • France
  • Netherlands
  • Portugal
  • Canada
  • Hong Kong

i thought i could see even one of African countries here on the list but to my surprise none was been mentioned, we have at least Central African Republic as a country that has even adopted bitcoin as a legal tender but sometimes reports may not be accurate base on the sources, i see USA as well here on the list being a surprise to me because US is one of the regions that has been having it hard with bitcoin over some time now.
3111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating people on Bitcoin for free on: August 01, 2022, 09:35:23 PM
decentralized global digital currency

This is exactly what bitcoin has come to offer and only the few who are ready to take the risk and enjoy the benefit thereof, I've seen some educatiing others about bitcoin only for them to gain traffic on their website, the only way to stay and remain secured in bitcoin and not on altcoins, using of decentralized exchange, now you can see how important is the words in quote, whereby on communicate and make transactions without any third party getting involved.
3112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: August 01, 2022, 09:20:26 PM
El Salvador is one of the first countries in the world to legalize Bitcoin as legal tender

El-Savador is not one of the countries but the first country to adopt bitcoin as a legal tender.

The way Bitcoin is being dumped leaves people in a very confusing state

why should they? except for the beginners who were new to the whole system and packages that could favour their yielding of returns

Bitcoin and dumping should be prevented but people will trust it more.

this may not be achieved because of the volatility in it, the two must work in hand to give the expected result of profitability.

there are several countries that have legalized bitcoin before

Pls can you list out of them because as for me i only know El-Savador, Central African Republic, and probably Panama altogether

3113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange will go out of business of every Bitcoin is hold in private wallet on: August 01, 2022, 08:58:02 PM
Bitcoin is already winning the war against the centralization of Bitcoin services, and a lot of Bitcoin holders are beginning to realize the safety of their Bitcoin when it is off the exchange and kept in a private wallet. You only send real Bitcoin when you do it on a p2p level and you don't own Bitcoin when your coins are stored on an exchange all you have is just promises and not Bitcoin if your Bitcoin is on the third party exchange.

For real, these exchanges do much of evil than good to many users but unknowingly to them, that's why what you don't know you're lacking the foresights of what you're missing out about it, our financial assets were used to run their own business not minding once their own need, but as to many that fail to know this bad lock in using centralized exchange, some don't make use of CEX no matter what the situation maybe, all because they understand the need not to.
3114  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: July 31, 2022, 09:04:29 PM
But most casinos always offer bonuses for first-time users and that is not a new thing we all know why they do that it is because they want to attract new players. But most time players also go for unique games so they always look out for platform that gives such an experience.

We do have some gamblers at the loom of bonuses either for registration or referrals while some don't even mind because their main aim is to have a satisfactory experience of the casino and not to make bonus, this set of gamblers have thier money already and are not minding to making profits from their gambling wins but rather to derive a satisfaction in playing games, if you're on a look for bonuses, then remember that some are not redeemable not until you pass through KYC.
3115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally - My first BTC Physical Buy!!! on: July 30, 2022, 07:25:24 PM
Am so excited at seing this which is another winning edge toward the increase in adoption and use of bitcoin all over the world, many people are now seing it a point of need to use bitcoin for payment in the economy, for the fact that bitcoin is gaining more attention with it role played is giving more Indications that it use as a digital currency cannot be limited but rather increases, there's nothing that fiat can buy and bitcoin can't do better, now the digital world accepts bitcoin in the economy with more preference than fiat.
3116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Stolen Bitcoin Be Recovered on: July 30, 2022, 07:14:23 PM
However, he claimed that the bitcoin was returned after he emailed a recovery expert with contact address - BLACKJOCKER10x @ PROTONMAIL COM. Different professionals who aid in retrieving stolen bitcoin were suggested by other commenters

to say the fact you don't really need to believe in every item projected on social media as crypto news, some may be intended to claim more victims, think of it in this direction, why do they have to steal it in the first place, it's a rare thing that we all know when crime is done that the main aim targeted is to loot or steal what does not belong to them, in this case, they may be framing all these stories we don't know, all we see is thier publication online, so why should we believe it, on a norms, every transaction is available for public view on the distributed ledger, if using a centralized exchange then something related to block user account is possible when due process is followed involving government.

there's whale alert as well that can signal any massive transaction carried out on the blockchain as well which could be traced when reported, but don't you think the hackers are now smarter than all these, don't you also think that the so called professionals in recovering stolen coins may be the hackers or scammers, just be careful, if you don't make a mistake from your end at first place there won't be need for all these.

3118  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US economy in recession? on: July 29, 2022, 04:27:20 PM
What are the core elements of a recession?

Inflation
Decrease GDP
Unstable economy
Unemployment
Increased Poverty
Natural disasters
Budget deficit

These are some of the elementary causes or determining factors to recession, when what you have on ground is unabke to meet uo with the needs demanded within a country after considering both the input and output of the natural resources and man power but still lacking far behind

How do we quantify a recession?

When there's a constant inflation and poverty levels increasing instead of decreasing while all the above mentioned determinant rrmain constant
3119  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question for regular casino players. Will you use Lightning if available? on: July 29, 2022, 04:14:39 PM
Good enough to an extent bitcoin has been made simplified forbuser to easily navigate through and make transactions but nevertheless we cannot wave away the need to learning the basics in performing these, because some mistakes are not correctible and may cost the gambler, also having this blend with the lightening network makes it more easier for users interested in that, it will always provide with the norms just as expected in gambling.
3120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador will be the richest country in the world in 8 years? on: July 29, 2022, 10:26:10 AM
I saw this post and what do you think? Is it possible for him to become that rich in such a short time?

look at the post here https://boletimbitcoin.com/2022/05/19/com-o-bitcoin-el-salvador-sera-o-pais-mais-rico-do-mundo-em-8-anos/

BTC adoption will not magicaly cure the underlying economic issuse that have been present for decades. Even if BTC price goes up and El Salvador gets something out of it, that won't resolve the problems that preceeded.

what else could resolve that? if the lingering economy challenges can't have any impact from the government and the fiat financial system over decades don't you think bitcoin could be a game changer here, consider it role, how the economy inflation cannot affect bitcoin should also be a considerable thing here, all i expect from you is just a little more time for bitcoin to manifest impact.

The problem is people can turn on him if he doesn't produce results in a few years

What have we all done to our present failure dispensational government? Of which I believe bitcoin will do more of good than opposite if afooted by any government, while El-Savador has no issues regarding that, as a matter of fact, El-Savador is a less agitating country.

I still dont know how can a country buy BItcoin from nation money and that too when bitcoin was at its ATH.

Have you ever sit down to know what exactly a future could be with accuracy? Even the weather forecast aren't, but let me tell you this we all need to take risk either we like it or not, if El-Savador buys during ATH then what gives you the impression that the price will not keep rising?.
