Personally i like action movies but not necessarily the typical War movies.
3102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bsctalkforum can be compared to this forum on: March 27, 2021, 07:57:24 AM

And from the letters of their website name, I'm sure it's for an specific coin they were talking not really the Bitcoin itself so don't get it wrong. A lot may be in common to their website but the content is from here so it's not a problem at all.

Yes, they have a specific altcoin and also they are giving it free in their twitter https://twitter.com/BSCTalkForum
The token nake is BTF and they are giving 250 BTF free to random 100 winners on completion of a small task. They are far far away to become the bitcointalk of the future.
3103  Other / Off-topic / Re: Buying a Dog on: March 27, 2021, 07:43:47 AM
If you like large dogs, you can consider raising a Samoyed. Samoyed looks really beautiful. Its nickname is Smiling Angel, because it always looks smiling. But he also has the common problem of large dogs and has a lot of activity. If you don't have enough time to walk the dog, it will use the extra energy to demolish the house.
I hate dogs that has lots of activities because they will only ruin your house .

i would rather have a cat instead of having dog like that  Grin
If I had a dog I would treat it as a best friend. "Take another beef and sausage"
So what Kind of Dog ? because that's the OP's Question?

Mine is Hush Puppies ..

Everyone has personal preferences and some people like to keep pets in their home and consider them as their friend. Personally i don't like to keep them as pet only because it take a lot to care about them and i don't have much time. Don't you think that mostly people who are alone or are old like to keep pets ?
3104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of people who buy bitcoin. on: March 26, 2021, 09:58:52 AM
anyone can buy a small amount. anyone who wants to invest their very little amount of money in order to have a better chance in the future will buy BTC. you don't have to be a millionaire but having just internet access will give you a chance to win.

certainly, the ones who can afford are buying BTC, the rich ones are buying BTC because they are also investing. you could also say there are criminals also buying BTC.
the elite sure are the ones going to be the big buyers. you can look at elon musk. we never know how much BTC he got.

Just don't check who is buying bitcoin and in how much amount everyone is accumulating. The important thing is how much bitcoin we are accumulating. Most of us are not whales so we cannot buy more bitcoin but that does not matter. Each person should accumulate as much as he / she can, as they will know the true potential of bitcoin in 5-10 years.
3105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If most of Bitcoin is owned by few it cannot be a store of wealth for all on: March 26, 2021, 09:43:56 AM
World will still choose Bitcoin rather than altcoin. Just look at Elon Musk, he bought Bitcoin which mean that he know the potensial thing of bitcoin. Those people who own many bitcoin will sell their bitcoin, if no it seems that they are not very smart. Peraon who own something without use it until he or she die means that he or she is own nothing. I think the world will accept many type of cryptocurrency. That is the same as USD, there will be a cryptocurrency that vert superior and dominant like USD and that is Bitcoin.

People will hold bitcoin just as they hold the gold. Also the millionaire don't sell all their wealth and yet die, leaving the money for their generations. The same is true for bitcoin.
People will store bitcoin as bitcoin will become more expensive after every passing day.

3107  Economy / Economics / Re: How much can you make by saving and compounding on: March 21, 2021, 05:38:26 AM
contained how much we invest

You can invest with whatever amount you can afford. There is no hard or fast rule for the minimum amount of investment and saving in bitcoins.
Even if you invest less in bitcoin and apply the compounding strategy, it will be beneficial for you in the long run.
3108  Other / Politics & Society / Free from Covid-19 on: March 21, 2021, 05:03:43 AM

I always thought will we ever be free from this covid-19 pandemic or will it stay with us forever in different forms  Huh
3109  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Covid Vaccine and animal testing on: March 21, 2021, 04:27:06 AM
What are your views on animal testing with regards the covid vaccine?

Aren't we too late on this testing because the vaccine is already in the market and is being applied to mostly elderly persons.

Secondly, all vaccines can't be tested 100% on animals as it may have different results as compared to when the same vaccine is applied to humans.
3110  Other / Off-topic / Re: What time do you go to bed? on: March 21, 2021, 03:32:57 AM
What time do you go to bed? What time do you usually get up? How much time do you have for sleeping?
I heard that some people (like Elon Musk) sleep for 4 hours in order to have more time to do things during the day. Is it dangerous to health?

You need to decide if health is more important to you or wealth. If you do not sleep well, it can impact your health. What's the benefit of the money if your health is not good ?

Also I don't think that Elon musk sleeps only 4 hours a day. He has a lot of people who are doing the work for him.
3111  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you miss those nights ? on: March 21, 2021, 03:09:01 AM
but lockdown good for bitcoin, right?

Not really. Did you remember that when pandemic /lockdown started, the bitcoin was dumped to 4000$ in march 2020. Later the price started to increase because of many factors, the major being stimulus checks being sent to the public and also the change in the reserve requirement for the banks.
3112  Other / Politics & Society / Re: INTERNET SCAM >> THE ADVERSE EFFECTS on: March 21, 2021, 02:51:13 AM
Basically  internet fraud has been on the hike(increase) or rise in recent times, several scam cases here and there both locally and international.
Youths of this generation has  made fraud look  cool, and legalized without considering the circumstances involved and penalty if been caught in the process.
Most adolescents have been lured into scamming people for their hard earned money, most of them are even supported by the parents this days to join their friends and colleagues to learn the illicit act of scamming   people.
Nowadays youths have made  scamming   look like a good hustle, and if you are not indulging yourself into it.. you are been made look like an outcast. So many are trooping in joining the new so-called trend of the today society..
In most African countries like Nigeria it's been called YAHOO YAHOO, those into it are called "YAHOO BoYS" this has made young people of today shun white collar jobs.
My advice to the youths of today, is don't let anyone  make you feel people ain't making it genuinely, the law of karma stands till tomorrow, karma has y'all addresses.
#saynotointernetfraud

The important thing to note is why people fall for the scams ? The reason is that most people do not have regular income and therefore they get attracted to anything which gives them free money. The only way to keep away from these scams is not to be greedy and also do not go after quick rich programs.
3113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Protect Yourself from Fraudulent Bitcoin Giving on: March 21, 2021, 02:10:10 AM
There are many people who have been scammed this last year with the livestreams that they made on YouTube with hacked channels, but really if you think about it, nobody is going to multiply x2 the btc that you send to the wallet that they indicate.

If you see any program, site or person giving you X amount of money on your investments in very short time and without asking you to do any work, then for sure that is a scam. No one on earth gives you free money on investments. Also note that the returns on staking etc are only between 1-20 percent and not 2x-3x.
3114  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Life after Political Power. on: March 21, 2021, 01:50:28 AM

A seat of power give you  ability to discharge function without seeking for anyone consent or opinion. It makes one to exercise authority over others,it makes you go above the laws but when power is out from your hands, you will start experiencing another face of life of which you will follow someone directives,in this scenerio one will think of revenge but to me i see it as a time to right the wrongs and put things straight rather than doing otherwise...
"Someone said that revenge is the best option in this situation"

If any Politian is abusing his power and making decision based on his personal wishes, when he is being taken out of power he may feel that he has lost his life. Most of such corrupt Politian's belong to third world countries and when they retire they get depression. Its hard to live a life without power if you are used to it for 4 -5 years.
3115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my first Bitcoin and am happy on: March 21, 2021, 01:30:49 AM
Just sold 5% of my Bitcoin that I've been holding for 3 years and I feel satisfied doing so.

I didn't need to sell, and it was mainly for the satisfaction of getting back some of my original investment.

However, I also feel like its broken the "HODL AT ALL COSTS" mindset which I felt was getting a bit unhealthy.

I do feel there are risks with Bitcoin, and I won't drag people down with that here, but I will be diversifying that money into gold and shares, mainly tech shares.

If Bitcoin dips a lot, I will also buy some more Bitcoin though.

Basically, I'm glad I sold some if only to stop feeling like a slave to it (and to test the Coinbase selling functionality which only took seconds for the transaction).

5 percent of bitcoin is nothing and its good if you sold it at a profit. If you know some tricks about trading, you can sold 50% of your holdings at resistance level and buy back again when bitcoin falls a bit on the support level. This way you can increase your bitcoin holdings.
3116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter hackers pleads guilty and agree to a 3 year in prison on: March 21, 2021, 01:12:47 AM

What are your thoughts of the sentencing? he has served seven months already of the three years sentenced on him.

I think it is good that he has been given a 3 year prison for his evil act. This will also stop other hackers from doing such things as they know that if they got caught they will not be spared and treaded harshly. I would have been more better if he was asked to give certain amount of money also as a plenty.
3117  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to quit the mobile phone and study hard? on: March 20, 2021, 01:42:24 PM
Whenever I want to study, I think about stopping playing with my mobile phone after 10 minutes of playing, but I always procrastinate, and then I play with my mobile phone until I go to sleep, without the energy to complete the task of the day, and then postpone it until the next day... Huh

How old are you and in which class do you study ?
The best way is to give your mobile phone to your parents for the time in which you study and make a commitment with yourself that you won't use the phone unless you have completed your assignment/study.
3118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another month of March on: March 20, 2021, 01:29:45 PM
It is funny how that we draw inferences from past experiences. personally, I wouldn't expect that this month of March will be like the previous months of March simply because there's been some sort of consistency in the previous Marchs.
You should know that this March is different. It brought about ATH in not only bitcoin at $61,000 alone but also so many altcoins.
We'd be forced to make mistakes if we base our judgements of the trends of the past. I'd say one shouldn't mind the FUD news because they are only meant to instill fear

Every month is different than the other. If previous month of march were not good for bitcoin, then it does not mean that history will repeat itself.

This time is totally different than the previous year, that's why we are not seeing any dump in bitcoin this time in march.  Smiley

3119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC seems to be fading out and loosing popularity. on: March 20, 2021, 12:28:10 PM
A lot of people already feel left out, Almost like they have missed the opportunity to invest in bitcoin, many are looking to invest in other alt coins. I had a conversation with a friend today about Bitcoin, investment and its very high transaction fees, he expressed his displeasure saying that like him, many others that he knew are no longer considering btc to invest in, rather, they are looking to invest in other crypto's.
Do you think it is too late for someone to invest in btc? Especially when it is not a huge sum?

I have opposite thinking about this. If you are new in crypto your first and long term investment should be in bitcoin. Even though the price of bitcoin is high, but in the long run the investment in bitcoin will be the most profitable one and safe too. If you can buy any other alt, you will not be sure if it will grow in the long run.
3120  Other / Off-topic / Do you miss those nights ? on: March 20, 2021, 12:11:44 PM

I understand that pandemic is not something to enjoy but it kept the whole family together for few months within the house.
Do you miss those nights which you spend with your family, kids and watching tv late nights ?
