While we are having discussion about these big wins from small bets here is another one : https://twitter.com/rollbitcom/status/1437370479657037827?s=19

The bet is although big from small gamblers perspective as it is $12.5 but winning $46,550 out if it is huge also at the same time. These are some lucky players just hitting that multipliers and who knows who get to that levels.

Well I know that people have many ways and styles to play, but go try with 12USD with a multiplier of 3724x! It would not occur to me particularly, if my bets are 2x, .3x, I think the maximum I have placed is 7x, the odds are very minimal and you have to play many times to see if you are lucky, I think this player he has a lot of knowledge and it really is very risky, I really admire people who play that way. Congratulations to that player. When in 2017 I was playing on freebitco.in, a youtuber made a script that put bets and multipliers of that style, the truth when I saw the tests if he used multipliers in that way, I think the youtuber is called Ppelite, something like that, the algorithm did bets of that style with little balance.

Mostly algorithms don't work on luck based slots and you have to only place bet and rest lies on your destiny and if you are lucky that time you would have unexpected wins quite big from the normal ones you usually have. But if you talk about some algorithm and strategies based game then there are many and you have to try them to make sure which suits the game conditions and if fits properly you can aslo have the big wins with small bets also.I have not heard of this youtuber honestly speaking and don't know which part you are taking about. So can you give a reference to that if possible so i can also have a quick look for it?

Perhaps and hope there will be bigger and more promotion once the 2,000,000,000 wagers milestone is reached.
I also think that 2 billion wagers would be celebrated with same promotional events like art contest and exciting prizes or something along with them as they have achieved this milestone in short span and without any promotion it would have not been possible.
3105  Economy / Economics / Now UK is facing inflation so choose the best for you.. on: September 16, 2021, 10:26:32 AM
Rising inflation is not a new concern for the economies but growth in prices at alarming rate and others or moving towards hyperinflation situation is matter of concern which needs to be taken care of but no what the government are busy doing is just printing more and more notes or say printing more fiat making it worthless which can be compared to piece of papers only. The developed countries are also facing such issues even though it's less compared to underdeveloped or developing countries like in US or any but now this time UK is witnessing inflation peak in food prices with growth in one month only

Quote
UK inflation made its biggest jump on record in August, adding to pressure on households as the government ramps up taxes on workers and prepares to cut universal credit benefits from next month.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said the consumer prices index measure of annual inflation rose to 3.2% in August, up from 2% in July, to hit the highest rate since March 2012.

The 1.2 percentage point increase between July and August was the largest since records began in January 1997

Moreover the government has ramped up the taxes and cut the social benefits also.Who is gonna face all these situations in bad way? The middle class who have trusted the banking system and government but they failed to manage such situations. This is just a step towards devaluation of your fiat and you will be worth zero near future.

UK inflation rising

So what is best for you? Bitcoin can safeguard you from all these things and provide you deflationary future ahead and you don't have to worry about all these things.Have your bitcoin stacked with you ASAP.

3107  Other / Meta / Re: What happened to BitcoinTalk in the last years? on: September 15, 2021, 01:04:15 PM
It was somehow golden period of the forum and you could see literally technical and well made discussion rather than seeking bitcoin investment advice and other spam threads we came across daily now and the well written threads are buried under the piles of such garbage threads.

If we're going to talk about the golden period of spam&shitposting, then I'll agree with that - because that's the time when signature campaigns were managed with bots that just counted posts without quality checks - I'm surprised you don't remember that since you're a member of the beginning of 2016. People who say that it was better then than today obviously have completely different criteria for good and bad, if we talk about the conditions that prevail in the forum today.

I'm not saying that it's perfect today, far from it - but for all those who used the forum to use it for profit, today it's much harder or even impossible to do what they did 4-5 years ago.
See there are some good and positive points along with some negative factors also if we make comparisons of Bitcoin talk related to current and past changes. This is my assumptions related to the same :

Those who use forum as profits and earnings perspective then for sure they have gained a lot like the bitcoin rates have improved as they are still trading above $45k and campaigns paying in btc still pay $50-$80 to hero/legendaries rank and for sure they are into good profits including all of us by the way.

The forum has also seen rise of the members from low rank to high rank after the implementation of merit system but due to making quality posts and good, healthy and effective contributions to the forum which is why they have gained merits from members who liked their ideas and posts. Many members have gained and are still earning merits by making such post.

The other case is that most of the newbies are misguided or introduced to the forum as some sort of income source on the primary basis and we see such threads daily on B&H section and other boards.Secondly there are members who are not able to gain any merits and have left the forum because they cannot join campaign due to merit restrictions or are simply spamming up the threads with no knowledge and writing off topics which is of no use.Newbies who are not into learning phase and implement the bitcoin knowledge are also joining the same race.

If we make certain analysis of Bitcoin discussion section also we could easily see the post quality have been degraded like most of the members don't know what are they posting like if there is any rumour or fake news in the market then without any investigation or finding out the details they will create the thread and later on similar threads carry on with same information. But in past there were some good discussions carried out by members. But now it is changing.

So my main concern was that there are some positive and negative aspects that have changed on botcointalk forum over all these years.
3108  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: September 15, 2021, 12:45:48 PM

That thumbnail with the dude holding the phone with the caption reading (Not Clickbait)....just screams clickbait!  And yeah, almost every video that winds up recommended by Youtube has a similar thumbnail, and it doesn't matter if the topic is bitcoin or organic bananas.  I swear to god the world has flipped its lid.
It's quite funny that they are mentioning not clickbait themselves in the caption and having all those fake views also on them and thinking that with this they can have some legitimacy but all those are crap. You are right it's not related to bitcoin only but even if you have searched for anything you would rarely find any quality stuff but most of them are busy promoting fake and scam stuffs and want to gain just your view.

The official bitcointalk channel should focus on bitcointalk, IMO.  I'm waiting with bated breath for the day the channel goes live, and that's the truth.  I can't wait!
Same is the case with many including me as we are already in mid September and anytime soon we could have the announcement of first teaser from @Cyrus and hopefully it spread the much needed awareness among people and save them from all the crap and fake videos out on YouTube.Waiting for its release  Cheesy
3109  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetJA.com | US Open 2021 ==> Win a share of $20,000 in BTC + Free BTC on: September 15, 2021, 12:20:28 PM
I wanted to send a pm to user "Betja" but as it is not possible to send a message, I need to post my case in this thread.

The Betja Support does not answer either to my emails nor to tickets I have created on their website (they simple close tickets without responding). I created a withdrawal request via Bitcoin several weeks ago. Some time after my request it was cancelled and my withdrawal request was removed from the website. Furthermore, it looks like they also deactivated the withdrawal button for my account. At least I do not see it anymore. I still have funds in my account and would like to withdraw my money but currently it is not possible because recent request was declined without any notification, the abscence of any withdrawal button and no response from their support...

Meanwhile I received my withdrawal after contacting the Betja user in this thread.
So now it's all good that you have received your funds back as withdrawal is processed and happy to see your issue was resolved by the team. You can always try to contact the team and if any issues post it here with proofs.

Just search "XPOSED" on Youtube & Twtich.

XPOSED is already one of the biggest partners with Roobet, not gonna lie the fund mostly came from sponsorship. However I still watching even he using sponsor money, still fun to watch how he react on the bet.

Especially while playing blackjack, I love how he react playing blackjack.
Yeah it's fun watching his real time reactions when he loses and that frustration and aggressiveness in his streams make it more interesting even though he is playing with sponsored money but still i also like to watch his stream.
3111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador rolls out 200 Bitcoin ATMs in a bid to speed-up nationwide adoption on: September 15, 2021, 09:48:36 AM

Didn't people protest against trains and cars in the past? Or more recently against cell phone towers? It's normal Smiley
Actually people have developed a feeling of protesting against everything which they feel is not right for them which is good thing but without understanding the importance or usage of the bills just blindly picking up anti bitcoin boards and protesting against them is not going to work as government is not going to reverse the bills(made for their benefits). They were completely dominated by the USD and then everything was fine inspite of inflation and outside government hindering their economy but now when bitcoin which brings them freedom is with them they are ignoring it.Same as you said like cars and train protest by people were totally useless as are they not using any of them until they are associated with any tribal caste ? Is the world moving around on two wheeler only? No.So when time will pass they will get to know it's importance and will adopt to it and till the time fiat has not been banned and those who fear btc can use fiat and make their condition worsen in future.

Like the people sending money to the country were using Western Union previously and they were charging too much like $5 for $50 of fund transfer which is too much compared to bitcoin fees also which they consider is too much and now if the country is providing you opportunities you tend to oppose them.

If not now they will soon realise that bitcoin is their currency not USD and will not fear it but will accept it as half million users are already sign up on Chivo wallet as announced so it's good to see this happening.

3112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 15, 2021, 03:22:35 AM
El Salvador another achievement as half a million population is already using the official wallet Chivo which have $30 of bitcoin as signup bonus

Source:  Half a million users using Chivo wallet

It has just adopted it as legal tender and this is growth so many are going to adapt to the same.
3113  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: September 14, 2021, 04:03:33 PM
How about NFT giveaways for watching episodes within a certain timeframe?  You could have some sort of QR code that is displayed during the video and leads to a link to receive a free NFT.  Each episode could have a new NFT and the link could stay active for 24 hours after the show goes live.  Just a wild idea I haven't seen anyone do yet.  It's a bit off Bitcoin since the NFTs would most likely be based on a chain with low fees like Polygon, but maybe such a thing is/could be a reality when lightning becomes more popular and we get a section to discuss it here. Smiley
Non fungible tokens or so called NFT are into much hype these days whether it's Bored Ape or cryptopunks they are being valued in million dollars and this trend has gone too high. But i am not sure about it on bitcointalk YouTube channel like are you taking about limited NFT or giveaway of how much people scan the qr code? What i mean is if 100 people scan the code then they all shall be eligible to have an NFT or certain limits could be put upon like 10 fixed and whosoever do it first will have it on board?

It seems like with all the money that was spent promoting Roobet via SteveWillDoIt videos and streams, there isn't any sign of it here at bitcointalk.  I think people here might not be the target audience for that content, but I think the brand is well represented.  Maybe Roobet should consider posting threads when new YouTube videos come out featuring Roobet as a sponsor.  I know I happened upon seeing Roobet on there by coincidence or I would have never known.

I knew Roobet before Stevewilldoit started working with them. When I first saw him promote them, I was pretty surprised.
It's crazy to think about the huge amount of money they must pay him for promoting their site in comparison to their signature campaign for example.
He must be getting thousands of dollars every time he gives them a shoutout.
Yeah he might be getting highly paid for the sponsorship with the Roobet team and i also watch his stream sometimes along with the sponsored bankroll to play and have such big wins like 600k on bonanza and his other big wins. This is the case with casinos that they spend huge funds on these promotional streams from professional gamblers to attract users as they are paying out of profits only.
3116  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk is more than a forum on: September 14, 2021, 02:10:57 PM
A forum is never really a forum. It is all about the interests and activities of the community and that happens here in bitcointalk and in many others. If the community is engaged, they will typically organise events, markets, and whatever suits best the interests. In the case of this forum, it is very clear that trading and doing commerce as well as creating new projects and contributing to bitcoin have generate an activity beyond the original intent of sharing ideas.
This is not an only discussion forum like any other social platforms where you share your ideas with presentation and engage in long discussion but on bitcointalk there are already many boards and local boards where you can have discussion with your local ones and with all as member of the forum.I have not seen any forum like this one where you can gain knowledge from senior and lower rank members from correct and effective guides on almost all topics, you can offer your services and sell your bitcoin related stuff as market place and you can earn as well from campaigns. This forum is producing some bitcoin and crypto experts even though they have zero experience and knowledge before joining the forum but if they are dedicated to it.A readily growing community that shares relevant bitcoin knowledge to the members and safeguard them from any misleading topics on the other sites.
3117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: KNOWLEDGE IS BETTER THAN MERIT on: September 14, 2021, 01:59:44 PM
You obviously need to know what you are talking about to get merited. You need to sound knowledgeable and professional to be taken seriously. But even people that don't know a lot have managed to gain plenty of merits. What you don't have in the knowledge and experience department, you can always make up by being helpful, respectful, and eager to research and learn.
Getting merits is not a tough as well as not an easy task and for that you must have knowledge to share with others which can be in any field like technical, non-technical, economic, political and other boards available on the forum. You can share good and relevant information in the topics and if someone find it suitable and useful you will be merited for the same and even if you are indulging yourself in some healthy discussion even if you are not sharing something like a newbies sharing his idea or any technical questions which promotes healthy discussion on the forum comes under merit criteria as seen in many cases.

You are right that some members lack knowledge but it does not imply that they don't have any knowledge of bitcoin or crypto market at all but simply know the basics and Normal stuff. They might be having some other related information to share with other members but the whole concept is that you must be sharing, learning good information on the forum and this should be primary motive of the members and your secondary goal of merits will be fulfilled with accomplishment of the first one.

And for that you must be calm like this :

3120  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: September 13, 2021, 12:27:29 PM

Indeed.  Just about every Youtube video about Bitcoin is focused on speculation.  There are more than enough people talking about this like it's some sort of get-rich-quick scheme.  It would not only be redundant and inaccurate, but also highly irresponsible, to produce more of the same.  We want this to stand out from the crowd and discuss what are arguably the more important (and more interesting) aspects.  Personally, I'd like to see as little trading talk as possible.
Exactly this was my concern like you just search for bitcoin on YouTube and you would come across such videos in abundance that have clickbait titles and zero advance knowledge due to which the viewer gets distracted and misunderstood the whole concept. They think btc as rich scheme and when the prices fluctuate they gets panic and sell off blaming the market. But bitcointalk official channel should be away from such crap and promote only true and real facts providing knowledge and creating awareness among mass.

Too bad there's no way to ignore channels on Youtube.
I usually found it funny how come people could be convinced by such thumbnails which shows 100% sign that they are fake like this one here :

These channels are going to make your millionaire within a month without doing anything but in actual their motive is fulfilled to have you view and get paid for it.The simple way of ignoring them is not to search for them on YouTube at all or click not interested in side menu of the video and you will see less of them. Here are certain options for you as well Block channels on YouTube

Hope the forum official channel stay above all of them and audience could get a real bitcoin experience without any shill promotions.
