WATERSCOURT Card for You!

To thank you for having played and tested between the end of season 6 until now, we will give 1 WATERSCOURT card to each registered player, who have successfully finished at least one level and have linked their Counterparty wallet to their SoG account. If you have not linked your wallet to your game account yet, you have until September 25th, midnight CEST to do so. Then we will distribute the rewards.

I got one Waterscourt card reward before.
Will I get the second one?

A GOOD RULE-OF-THUMB--

Place no more than 2 GPU's powered risers on a single SATA cable.  Placing the powered riser for GPU 0 on a single SATA cable, along with a HDD or other low powered device, may also be good policy.       --scryptr

A BETTER RULE-OF-THUMB--

Don't power any 480s from any SATA cable.

SORRY, I DON'T UNDERSTAND--

The USB powered risers require power input from a SATA cable.  Are you suggesting the use of non-powered risers?  The results can be a fire hazard.  I was expecting that the proper PCIe connections be made with PCIe cables.  Using 2x Molex-to-1 PCIe adapters on anything bigger than a 750ti is also a fire hazard.  Using a Mollex-to-PCIe adapter on a 280X will result in melted cables and a resulting short circuit.       --scryptr

I mean he means Molex cable instead of SATA cable should be used for "bigger" card, as I mentioned above

good tip. I am trying to use Molex first, especially with old high power consumption cards,
sata only with <150W cards

I have -ttli issue
I have set -ttli 82, but if temperature exceed this level hashrate goes to 0.000Mh/s and few moments after that Miner hangs and restarted...
I will give a log in a while.

I have a few questions regarding the Linux version:
- Is coloured text in the terminal possible? If so, how?
- How would I run the miner at system startup as user, inside screen ?
- For Claymore, can you build with a newer libcurl version so I don't have to install the libcurl-compat package ?
- Is temp/fan monitoring/change possible with AMDGPU driver ? If yes, does it require X to be running ?

Maybe Claymore or someone else can clear this up for me.

- How would I run the miner at system startup as user, inside screen ?

Depends on which distro you are using but add the application to the "Startup Applications" with the following command:

gnome-terminal -e "'\home\path\to\directory\start.sh'"

Note: there are single quotes inbetween the double quotes in case there are spaces in the directory path.

gnome-terminal or mate-terminal or terminal vary based on the distro you are using.

Hi, thanks for bothering to reply.
I am using an arch linux based distro but without X running (headless).
I know it's easy when you have autologin and X running..

all my rigs are Win7/8.1/10 and only 1 on Ubuntu.

Any guides out there on running CDM on Ubuntu (installation, auto launch CDM upon bootup, etc.) ?
I am using winscp.. try it too Smiley
