3101  Economy / Economics / Re: Are institutional investors capable of selling their bitcoins? on: April 26, 2021, 01:39:54 AM
Whether they are publicly traded, private, government, or ETF-like companies, those different types of companies have another asset in their accounts for sure, and one of them is cash. So if somehow, some investors are going to pull out their specific investment on an asset in the company, they would give them money or another reserve. It's not like they are just going to use it all at once.

They can provide that volume to produce dumps later on, but I doubt it's their goal to do that. They are betting on it to see if people will ride with them and modernize the financing institutions.
3102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: April 26, 2021, 12:21:36 AM
I believe that with the loss that Lomachenko had last October, he is in it to regain his reputation and his spirit in the game. The return has been expected by a lot of people and they are probably going to enjoy that fight as well. It can be a turning point towards his career if this doesn't come in his favor.

The contender, Nakatani, on the other hand, has been well praised and attention during his debut so I think there is potential here.

I think Nakatani would be rising on top of this one.
3103  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Poniex trading bot website and Coygo crypto trading bot on: April 23, 2021, 04:16:56 AM
I haven't seen those bots but you can try it. It's kind of hard to make a profit in arbitrage knowing that you need fast trading capabilities like utilizing WebSockets instead of API. I'm not sure what those bots are using but you require a fast connection to that for sure.

Personally, I would recommend Gunbot as your trading bot if you are ever to look for one. I'm biased for that for sure since I'm a reseller but it solves what my problem in trading is, which is monitoring the market all the time. I cannot do that with what I have on my plate but it's definitely made me money to the extent that I have funded different account exchanges that I have.

Like what mk4 said, it's going to depend on how you utilize it and what your use case on using a bot.

Would you use it as an
  • Exit Position Manager
  • Completely Automate your Strategy
  • Monitor markets for different trading opportunities
  • DCA calculator
  • Provide Liquidity

Let me know if you need some help or are interested and want to talk to someone about it. Message me.

3104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I can never get my price :( on: April 23, 2021, 01:14:23 AM
If I understand you correctly, let's make this a scenario.

Let's say the price of 1 BTC = $1 (for the sake of easy analogy)

You put in a limit order of 2 BTC for $2.00. It was bought at that price, so now you have $2.00 and no BTC.

Since there is volatility with the BTC price, let's say the BTC value the next day is now $2.
The order you have in the history is in BTC, so the 2 BTC you have is already worth $4. (I think this is where you get mixed up, OP)

Order value is always going to be the same. 2 BTC (amount of your order)
The price of BTC is always going to be volatile. ($51k, it can be $100k)

It would help if you looked at the amount of BTC that you input. So if that's correct in value, then you don't have to worry about anything.

What exchange are you using btw?
3105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The old fiat days are behind us! on: April 22, 2021, 09:51:09 AM
I admire your enthusiasm for cryptocurrency, which everyone needs to feel if they are coming to the cryptocurrency space. I hope they understand that everything needs improvement and many people are researching alternatives towards money, and now, here it is. I do hope that there would come a time that it's the other way around, that it's BTC that's dictating the amount, but it's unlikely to happen anytime soon. We are well off anyway from the prices years ago, though.
3106  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance directly robbed me of 90% of my deposited coins $&@!@$ on: April 21, 2021, 02:43:38 PM
I plan to be much more active on BTALK & soak up all there is to learn. If anyone has any good suggestions to any threads for me or how to get more involved on this forum I would love to hear more. I am thankful for this experience, because when I fail I only get better.
That's good for you to learn more about Bitcointalk. Here is my list of what I think could be interesting for you.

Just did a quick check on my watch list. I hope you like it!

I suggest as well to post only once and reply to all. Just insert the quote and reply to them one by one.

I think it would depend on where you are going to buy. I'm not sure what their plan is with purchasing and applying cryptocurrency purchases but I still think it would come through third-party sites and they would be able to accept it already because they allow it to. I can't wait to see the future of cryptocurrencies everywhere in the world and with the help of institutional investors, it would be seen more and more.

I hope everything would lead to an increase in price Cheesy
If that's the case that is such a bore because you will have to do a double KYC then because they are such a bitch about it that they don't like the idea of collaborating their KYC so it will be more convenient. I do hope too that this will lead to increase in prices and I am sure that it will be because this is an adoption.
There's no KYC when using credit cards, so definitely not going to happen. It didn't happen to me. I don't know about anyone else. I think as long as your details are aligned, you won't have to worry about anything.
3108  Economy / Economics / Re: Is master card giving us the go ahead to keep buying coins on: April 21, 2021, 09:07:09 AM
I hope that the KYC part isn't going to be a difficult one and that if we use their card, we don't have to worry about putting another KYC in other sites because the card already has the information, I am excited on this one and I do hope that it will be the case.

3109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is bitcoin the best one to invest in? Or am i too late? :( on: April 21, 2021, 03:35:22 AM
The problem is that the thought of humans to get in the best time or the so-called perfect time is not possible. There is always going to be speculation towards it, and hopefully, it would reap the rewards in the years to come. It's always lovely to do wishful thinking, but the best thing to do is act on it and do more deeds.

Continuously invest in something you believe in, and you will never know how much you can harvest in the long run.
3110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: UNREALIZED PROFIT IS NOT YET YOUR OWN on: April 20, 2021, 03:58:42 PM
There are a lot of trading strategies that could decide whether or not you can take profit or not. The best thing to understand first about uPNL is that it's paper losses. Unless you are going to close your position with the market, then it would be realized already. Some people who are new to trading wouldn't understand right away, and it should be learned too.

Some people hold positions for the long term because they are swing traders, uPNL that they have stayed for a long time. It would help if you weren't emotional with this. Scalpers or Market Makers usually tend to trade within seconds or minutes, and their uPNL is realized immediately.

There are many cases to consider, and you should decide what type of trader you will be.
3111  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance directly robbed me of 90% of my deposited coins $&@!@$ on: April 20, 2021, 02:31:57 PM
That’s sound advice, thanks for that and for the roast 😂😂😂 The truth is I’ve only been buying BTC via cash app for the last 2 years and randomly logged into my Binance account after all of those changes.
Not trying to roast you though. I'm just stating facts lol. Anyway, I hope you find the solution to all your problems. It's not bad to use Bittrex too.

Yes, after the fact I realized I should have just posting here asking for the best way to do this exchange for DOGE. It’s whatever, I’d be buying at the high but it seems as if even now it’s a great time to buy in.
There are a lot more to do if you utilize the forum more. Expert traders and excellent community members are the best to ask questions from. Don't be shy and read a lot of topics to be informed. Cool
3112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China gives bitcoin stamp approval as investment alternatives on: April 20, 2021, 01:20:08 PM
For those who are interested in articles, you can check the link below.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/china-endorses-btc-investment-5-things-to-watch-in-bitcoin-this-week

Knowing this is comforting, knowing that they approved of it and had China acknowledge it. Like some countries, they would usually consider Bitcoin again, if they ever were to ban it, change their view on it, knowing that most powerful nations are looking for it to be an alternative.

Maybe soon it will receive more impact, and we would reach $100k by the end of the year.
3113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sicodice.com surprised me!! bitcoin dogecoin dice on: April 20, 2021, 09:12:55 AM
It's the first time I have read about it and I checked what it looks like. Upon checking the website, it kinda looks similar to PrimeDice? The old GUI. And further research within the forum seems like it's being accused of scamming as well.

Anyway, I'm happy for your profit, OP. I wouldn't try to gamble there though. That's just my opinion on it.
3114  Economy / Speculation / Re: If we enter a bear market how long it will last? on: April 20, 2021, 05:03:27 AM
You can speculate all you want, but it's still better to be prepared for what will happen. What we all know is the history of what the price movement is and not the actual forecast. We will never know and cannot predict what can happen in the market. All of the institutional investors that are already there will most likely continue their investments with BTC. When the price is dipping, they can buy more and more. Following the significant movements of companies involved, the small businesses would follow.

It's still best to be firm in what you think will happen and blame yourself for following it accordingly. I think it can be the same as before like you mentioned. It's too early to tell too.
3115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC's crisis time is coming on: April 20, 2021, 12:14:23 AM
Many people might be riding the DOGE wave; that's why many people are trading DOGE now and not a different coin. Most people are doing crazy things with their money, like investing in DOGE, but if you can take advantage and profit from there, why not?

There's no way it can overtake BTC. Trading volume can or percentage increase in price for a shorter timeframe, but I don't think so in the long term.
3116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO: ‘I Would Bring Traditional Financial Regulations To Crypto’ on: April 19, 2021, 03:39:55 PM
I didn't know that Binance has been jumping from place to place on their registration. Their hard work paid off, for sure.

To cater to more customers, there would be people who would be asking how they are abiding by the protocols and regulations given by a regulatory body. It's going to go at that point, just like what avikz said. It's for protection for the users in the exchange, too, if you think about it. There could be possible insurance if and when the exchange goes down, and you would be given an amount of money.
3117  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance directly robbed me of 90% of my deposited coins $&@!@$ on: April 19, 2021, 03:20:19 PM
The first one is your fault for sending it to a non-us account. How can you even forget that? If you are logging into their website and in the US, there would be a warning that you should be using Binance US.

Secondly, if you understood why it has high fees in the first place, you would know that it would take a lot from your deposit. It wouldn't be worth it to transact $70 with a $35 fee. That's not economically friendly.

I can suggest that you convert your remaining funds or your future funds for a good altcoin with low fees. With that, you can transfer with a fraction of a price instead of paying a ridiculous amount of fees that takes up 50% of your deposit.
3118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance Smart Chain the "New Ethereum"? on: April 19, 2021, 02:10:19 PM
There are a lot of coins that are somewhat similar to Ethereum, mainly these are the coins from the top of my head.
  • ADA
  • DOT
  • ALGO

Their values right now are so far away from ethereum but you can never know if it can reach that price as well. The demand is high right now and the listed coins above can be your next jackpot. We will never know but that's just the market. What if a big influencer like Elon Musk starts hyping another coin? What would you think the next "DOGE" would be?

BSC can be next?
3119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with incentives to hodl long term on: April 19, 2021, 09:08:43 AM
Isn't it the same as staking or something? Most developers aim for HODLers of their coin and make it that way, and they need to make it attractive to be held. I think the most effective right now are those with vaults, staking, and rewards. It's just named differently, but the essence is still the same either way.

I know CRO is staking their coins for rewards like the master card that they offer. It's locked for a certain period, and you could only use it once it's unlocked, but they will get the "benefits" they give.
3120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Institutional buyers are not backing down. More Pump? on: April 19, 2021, 03:41:39 AM
They are making it more and more interesting for the cryptocurrency space, knowing that they will use their stack to pay non-employees by the company. It's just going to show that they are really at it in applying cryptocurrency in their business transactions.

Imagine what the institution would feel if we are in the bear cycle now. Paper loss of millions of dollars is easy for those kinds of enormous investments.
