2101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling elementary tools on: January 19, 2022, 11:45:44 PM
If you think gambling requires some necessary skill to play before doing anything, it doesn't. If there's no skill-based thing and rely on luck, you don't need anything. But for, skill-based games like poker or blackjack requires some skill and experience to make the right decisions and have the possibility to earn and profit from your initial capital.

The most important part for me would be the control. Control of playing another round even if you had already lost the games before and have no money left. It's better to step away than continue playing.
2102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Energi (NRG) recovered my stolen funds on: January 19, 2022, 03:48:39 PM
After reading the article, you have to act fast once you have realized that your wallet has been compromised. As indicated in the article, there would be a requirement of 5000 confirmation for exchange deposits, so what's stopping hackers from depositing it to their wallets in which they have control? How about the voters who can manipulate the votes to approve something? Is having collateral enough for the steps to take? It's pretty hard to take in.
2103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin User Loses Record $1.1M on: January 18, 2022, 11:43:54 PM
-snip-
I think the lack of knowledge motivates them to keep on hacking because it still works. It's just sad that they have done it that way.
Of course it will always work, cryptocurrencies these days have made a lot of idiots rich from memes, nft and more to come.
I never thought of it that way though. A lot of people did have a lot of money profiting from the NFTs and many more bounties that could be created from it. I just hope that they would do it for the right things and help other people.
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com paused all withdrawal on: January 18, 2022, 11:27:57 PM
At least they already made action towards their service onto which they can immediately take action. It's hard for users like us if it's not going to be done correctly, like how it happened today. Imagine if they didn't pause the withdrawal, it could've been much more.

I agree with some of the comments here that they should invest in security, not just the advertisement. But it's working so, why not, right?

I hope the tweet had some links on how he did the investigation.
2105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is the best crypto trading signal provider? on: January 18, 2022, 03:17:06 PM
Definitely the ones that have the best win rate when it comes to providing signals in trading. But how can you say that it has a good track record if they can somehow manipulate the results that they have? Do you think having the best transparent background And honest messages if they make mistakes is a great way to make sure That you are with the right provider.

Why do you want to have a trading signal provider anyway? If they are asking for money they are automatically interested in the money itself.
2106  Economy / Economics / Re: PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC. on: January 18, 2022, 02:51:36 PM
Many industries have realized that a lot of work can be put into work-from-home setups, and they can enjoy their remote benefits. Probably many introverts have enjoyed this type of setup because it's not all the time that it's possible. It has become possible because we have the technology for it now, and the connection worldwide has been more interconnected than ever.

You can make and see how the people have adjusted their ways through online stuff and some hustles that weren't explored before the pandemic, and that's what's impressive about it how adaptable people are.
2107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana full of hype? on: January 18, 2022, 01:07:14 PM
I don't think it's hype. It was hyped for sure when the time of NFT's was so much more applied in the cryptocurrency space. I can't wait for the time to come that more NFTs would be in the SOL space. I think that's one of the reasons why it has increased in price so much. If the technical problems persist, then that's when it will start to collapse, but once it has been continuously repaired. No significant things happen where hacking or devaluing occurs; it's pretty good.
2108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin User Loses Record $1.1M on: January 18, 2022, 12:58:15 PM
It's not just about being secured with your coins, and it's with the fact that you should know the possible scams you could encounter in this world. I mean, imagine being able just to shell out 26 BTC to double it. It's a lot, and that's going to be only possible for those already who have a lot. I think the lack of knowledge motivates them to keep on hacking because it still works. It's just sad that they have done it that way.
2109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Congress Hearing On Bitcoin’s Energy Use on: January 17, 2022, 02:28:29 PM
Thank you for posting this. I wouldn't know that there would be this kind of hearing if it wasn't for you, OP. I had already set a reminder so I could watch it.

Anyway, we all know all the posts that could help the case on this, and I hope that this way, this is going to be helpful towards proving BTC is better everywhere.
2110  Economy / Gambling / Re: Have you played at 8Bet.io? Please share experience on: January 17, 2022, 02:21:11 PM
It's the first time I heard of this. This is something that I would have to do some research about, and thankfully for this one, it's helpful to know that there are people who had successes towards what the site is. It's something that I think everyone can benefit from if they are interested in playing in different casinos. It's going to be a choice between the player how much he will risk.
2111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do u think about gambling? on: January 15, 2022, 03:08:07 PM
I practice believing that I'm playing only for fun, but at the back of my mind, I always want to win and play for profit because who even wants to lose, right? But as a matter of fact, it's always going to be hard to practice yourself if you are greedy or maintain your capital if you were to invest a lot. It's always going to be a balance between wanting to win and controlling yourself.
2112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazilian mayor to reportedly invest 1% of city funds in Bitcoin on: January 15, 2022, 01:53:31 PM
This little thing is massive for the cryptocurrency community. It just shows that being part of the economy is already a good thing to do, especially for those who have been part of this for a long time. Imagine being able to continuously invest in crypto for the past few years and finally have some significant funds for it, and you'll be thankful.

I hope many more people see the possibility of crypto, its importance for everyone, and its message.
2113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any website without a dispute here? on: January 14, 2022, 01:06:43 PM
There is definitely no chance to have a site to have no accusations or any kind of misdemeanor type of complains because of the different personalities of people. It's always going to be with madness and anger when it comes to gambling if you lost. There are people who are probably into getting accusations done so that they could benefit even if it's going to tarnish the sites name. As long as you are playing in the right websites, I think you have nothing to worry about. If there are more good reviews than bad and there are loyal customers that have lasted years. That's definitely one of the reasons that it could be a good website.

There's nothing to be any agreement with everyone as long as there are people. Opposing views create disputes and forms chaos.
2114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 44 ETH LOST ON WTF?? on: January 14, 2022, 09:30:02 AM
He must have a lot of coins for him to spend that kind of amount money on WTF. That's just absurd for someone average so for sure it's either they just have a lot of money and then deciding to go all in towards the coin. You could try to go with it but it's going to be expensive, based on what the other members have said so it's really up to you if you have extra money for it.
2115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fear and Greed index. Don't time the market! on: January 12, 2022, 03:40:49 AM
I like the summarized type of chart where the index is seen for all time. I think the best way to get that in your head is to see the past happenings and correlate if it will be the same sentiment. So if you are thinking about buying Bitcoin, and then you see that people are fearful of it, then it's a great time to buy. I'm not sure if this would be a great indication, but you can still be profitable if you do it correctly.
2116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unexpected Pi Network news on: January 11, 2022, 02:44:52 PM
I don't think anyone from the forum is expecting this coin to be listed in Binance but if ever, then a lot of people would be saying "I told you so". Either way, there would always be two sides on opinion and I won't believe anything or expect this because I know they are just "hyping" themselves and making money out of the ads in their app. Obviously, they are mining information for the highest bidder or something alike.
2117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of Gambling on: January 11, 2022, 08:58:11 AM
This is a choice by the person playing. If you know that you are being reckless with your action, I think you should accept that it is a part of you, and you need to do something about it. You can't keep doing it repeatedly without understanding the whole picture of what's happening to you. No matter what happens, even if you laid out all the pros and cons of gambling, it's still up to the person to understand the risk and results that may happen. I think it's always a matter of willpower to do what is necessary.

Self-control is key to gambling and being consistent.
2118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Legit Tips for Newbs that will help you Win on: January 11, 2022, 06:33:29 AM
I thought that this was something about competition or something. Is it winning in life moments thing? Is that what you mean? Lol.

Anyway, I think your advice is generalized mainly because it's an outline of what you may find interesting if you are getting started. I don't think numbers #4 and #7 will be helpful for you because having to rely on your brain for a phrase would be challenging unless you are like Jim Kwik, a memory master or someone alike. Unless you can memorize and create a story/mnemonic for remembering it, it's going to be a challenge for an average person.

For #7, it's going to be a factor in which you would only do it yourself, and you will get to a time when delegating something is better than doing it all by yourself.

2120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade-in between the lines on: January 11, 2022, 02:03:11 AM
Follow your instincts but you need to do your own homework also before involving yourself to any alt project. Because without prior knowledge, it is like you are putting yourself blindly in trading.
How are that instincts? Maybe it's how you would train your subconscious self towards the right learnings to make your instincts better. Is that what you mean? I think when you are learning it will come along once you become better at it.

You may have rules set but it may change in the actual trading scenario. So just adjust according to what is happening in the market. Don't easily panic when you hear some news, verify if it's valid. Because most of the time those are baseless statements.
I think in this day and age, it's important to listen to the news because the majority of the people would be looking forward towards those things and they act on emotion because that's how humans are. I think it's smart if you know how to handle those news things and be prepared to act once you are there.
